Not exactly like that, still if the casino see some suspicious actions from your account,

even you have your KYC they can still interfere and prevent your from dealing with the house, freezing your capailities whenver they see something that they've suspecting to be illegal, but yes, in some other point having completely validated gives you some comfort not being
hot from the eyes of the house owners as long as there's no problem while you are using their service.
Even if that were to happen, at the least you are likely to be suspected and have your account suspended and if it ever comes to that, you can say that you have submitted your identification and hopefully could help with the suspension of the account.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 19, 2021, 07:03:25 AM
There's no problem with this, after the Fury vs Joshua fight,  Fury can give this a chance, it's up to him, if he will not fight, that means he will break the contract and he will pay a monetary amount for that, it's up to him.
I think that it should be the logical approach since Wilder skated out of the fight at the last minute and this Fury vs. Joshua is already polished and butting in while the match has already been decided is a bit rude and unprofessional.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: May 19, 2021, 06:28:22 AM
Online gambling is gaining more and more popularity with regular increase in the userbase. This can be understood just by counting the number of cryptocurrency accepted gambling sites that have come into usage over the last year. The number is big compared to the other years and our forum itself an proof for the same.

This has been happening as a result of people unable to move out of their homes due to the pandemic. This time has been a lucky one for few winning big and majority might've experienced massive losses suffering more during this period.
Also with more people on their homes more often because of the pandemic and the lockdown measures, the user base is guaranteed to go up since people need to find some way to be entertained. I think that when this pandemic is finally over, I am pretty sure that the user base is going to go down.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: May 19, 2021, 05:47:16 AM

True that not all would really be having the access due to country locations and not all of the places which does have correspond professional help or services something like
this which means not all would really be catered out with this kind of help. Therefore the best thing to be done is to help out yourself first before asking out some help
in others like your loved one or any other services out there that do cater out gambling addiction. This is a kind of problem on where someone cant easily
get rid off.
Pretty every country has their own intervention groups that will help them, I don't know what you are talking about not having access but I think that everyone has, it's just a matter of opportunity. Helping yourself is easy on paper but if you are in the denial stage, it will be difficult to do that.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 19, 2021, 04:58:31 AM
I can respect some casino who adding required KYC before using their service. most likely about money laundry and legality for their customer. as we know some casino restricted some area for using their services. they didnt want their legality had problem because they didnt even know who using their service before hand . and also KYC in most gambling platform only formalities and they wont making harder registration for their new user.
I mean that would be the least that you can do when you are doing business, complying with the rules and laws that govern your business. I like the idea of KYC because it helps you not become a suspect of something bad in the casino because you know that you won't do wrong because they have your identification.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: May 18, 2021, 12:08:56 PM

Sign is different from acceptance or questioning.

We can see signs in their behavior and their Money handling.

Mostly addicted people don't wanna spend money aside from gambling. they even keep their food cheaper just for the sake of gambling.

and addicted gamblers become more greedy and selfish .
How is it different, signs are an indicator that either you are doing positive or negative and it is different because they aren't the same thing, acceptance is when you finally saw the signs and you see it, acceptance is the action.
1247  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: May 18, 2021, 11:09:09 AM

Expectation vs Reality?

This is mostly true and its up to someone if they could take it or not. When it comes to marketing then these things arent really that new.

It isnt immoral because its clear that most funds been used are sponsored by the house or company. Its part of the strategy or marketing for them to get players.

If you do find it to be immoral then you can choose nor decide for yourself.
Well, if you aren't living in a country that doesn't actively punishes advertisers that deceive the people by making exaggerated product placements on their product/services then you have to just roll with it since they are just doing their job and that's what their school have taught them. I don't find it immoral since everyone has to look good so the first impression is good, I can't blame them for that.
1248  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC & ETH withdraws | Live games & Slots! | VIP | on: May 18, 2021, 10:20:02 AM

Every gambler have their own taste on gambling so we cannot say that this is not good for them not unless its a scam project. Duelbits is indeed a good gambling site that offers a lot of options, and the additional crypto deposit gives you more option. Betting is fun as long as you know what you are doing, investing might be more boring because of its nature, it can also be more profitable depends on the situation.
You're right, to each of their own I guess. I have no problem with gambling but I don't get how people always says that it is for entertainment even though they are going nearly broke because of their gambling plus I can't shake off the fact that I always imagine what could have happened if they put it in an investment instead of gambling.
1249  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 18, 2021, 06:40:05 AM

That can trigger the red alarm for Rollbit and for sure, they'll ask for KYC and freeze that account for a moment. Depositing and withdrawing money is not that easy especially if you're talking about big money here, so those people will not succeed for sure. Smiley
That's my concern that they might not have one when this happens.since they didn't indicated it in their post. And the other problem is that if this is handled poorly, chances are high that innocent users are going to be affected by it since there is no prejudice in the system.
1250  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 18, 2021, 05:42:20 AM
The requirement is now $10 deposit and wager to withdraw. The FAQ has been updated to reflect this change:

Do you have any measures against people that will probably exploit this requirement to do money laundering via depositing a lot of money and then playing the required amount and then withdrawing?
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto (bitcoin) is better than traditional money? on: May 18, 2021, 04:57:27 AM
Me as amateur, maybe what cause bitcoin is better than fiat for me is we can send it anywhere and anytime. Don't need to wait to be processed in work day as long we really pay fees according that required. For security or anonimity maybe is good too, because if we save in our wallet i don't think people can trace who is the owner. But maybe will be different if save in exchange, because if other people ask about our data with assistance from the authorities, exchange can give the data to who ask it.
Wrong, you can send fiat anywhere too with apps like Paypal, Venmo, CashApp and many other. Anonymity is debatable because criminals that are dodging the law uses fiat to cover their tracks and they can still get their needs without the worry of people tracking their purchases. The reason I think that bitcoin is better than fiat is because it is superior, it can be a currency to purchase or an investment to make more money.
1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will energy consumption be Bitcoins downfall ? on: May 18, 2021, 04:02:20 AM
If we don't address the issue, I am sure that these problem on energy consumption is going to bore more problems in the future that is going to really cause the downfall of bitcoin market as we know it.
1253  Other / Archival / Re: The community created a petition: Elon Musk, sell your bitcoin on: May 18, 2021, 03:16:41 AM
What would this petition do though? Will it change the outcome of the things that already happened? Will it make Elon Musk change his stance regarding bitcoin market and energy consumption? If the answer is a no then why do people still waste their time on this kind of stupid stuff?
1254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you guys use bitcoin for? on: May 18, 2021, 02:41:25 AM
Initially I used it as an investment for long term benefit. In between due to some sort of greed started to use it on gambling. From that the major use of bitcoin in my wallet was for gambling. These days it is very rare to use my bitcoin for other needs. Maybe now onwards I need to accumulate so to make it useful for my life needs.
I hope that you will be able to use your bitcoin for other thing besides gambling, you could make more money out of not gambling and just saving your bitcoin, you said that you did investment initially and I think that you should start that all over again, takes a lot of discipline to resist temptation with gambling. I don't have to spend my bitcoin yet since it isn't a lot and the price currently is on the red so I won't be spending or cashing it out at this time but I plan to save for a big investment.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh, market manipulation is finally bad now? on: May 18, 2021, 02:04:32 AM
If Elon is manipulating the market he should have dump his BTC already, but we didn't hear anything from them yet about dumping but instead with his single tweet about how bad BTC is for the environment because of the miners using coal electricity. And he did stop allowing Bitcoin payment to buy Tesla just because of that, maybe he's just planning to pump the meme coin on his own instead of Bitcoin?

I don't see any manipulation here but rather a correction plus i saw a nees where investors are pulling out some huge money in Bitcoin that's why we've seen this huge correction. It should help though to let potential investors to help adopt Bitcoin during this dip/correction.
You are probably blind to not know that Elon isn't manipulating the market already, the moment someone famous or has a large following started tweeting about the market promoting or opposing it, it is already a market manipulation.
1256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you define "mass adoption"? on: May 17, 2021, 02:55:57 PM
Personally my definition of mass adoption is that when something is used for almost anything for daily basis and a lot of people knows about it and uses it.
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Elon Musk? Is he harmful or useful for Bitcoin? on: May 17, 2021, 02:19:56 PM
I can say he's 50% useful and 50% dangerous since we cannot really trust him, he only want to manipulate for his own personal gain so we shouldn't trust his calls since we know he can flip up things by using his influence. Maybe its time to not listen to him since if majority will treat him as nonsense or the same with Mcafee for sure we can recover and will not easily wipe out by fuds.
I would put it that way too and I will double down to say that every businessman is the same. I think what we are putting Elon in is pretty stupid since most businessmen all prioritize their interest before anything else.
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who wants a carbon neutral bitcoin ? Plant a 100 trees for 300 USD on: May 17, 2021, 01:22:57 PM
We will reap the benefits of planting trees right now in 50 years or so so I think it will be worthless for the present but it will be helpful for the future generations, my take on this is that we have to stop polluting our oceans because that's where most of the CO2 are absorbed by ocean planktons that dies because of pollution, they are responsible for around 90 percent of carbon absorption. Also a much better alternative is the total abolition of fossil fuels as energy source.
1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Free falling Bitcoin on: May 17, 2021, 12:18:09 PM
Don't panic, you can always click the sell button if you think bitcoin will drop more.
This is normal, we are not seeing a bull market all the time, a correction happened and we are seeing this kind of big dumps.

Just be patient if you are for the long term, but if you are for short-term investing or trading, betting convert it to stable coin now and just buy when bitcoin will dip more, I have a feeling it will go down further.
Alternatively, they can press the buy button now that the prices are going down and it will be much better for the long-term hodlers since not everyone has a strong hands in terms of hodling . I don't get how people have been advised for a long time about being patient but they still don't do it, makes me wonder how stupid an average person is.
1260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anybody else feel relieved this dip finally happened? on: May 17, 2021, 10:33:32 AM
To be honest, yes I feel relieved because I can finally buy more bitcoin at a lower prices and I will have more bitcoin to hodl which is going to give me more profit when the prices started going up again and I know that it will go up because it already did for almost a decade.
