for me is very relevant updates 32 bit version - will be a new 32-bit version? I think the old version should be running quite ok.

How do I do to mine this coin on a mac computer? Does somebody tried to compile the miner on unix os?
Guide of compiling minerd on mac os:1. Ensure Xcode and the command line tools are installed. 2. Download and Install MacPorts: http://www.macports.org/install.php3. Edit ~/.profile to include the following content:export CPPFLAGS="-I/opt/local/include $CPPFLAGS" export LDFLAGS="-L/opt/local/lib" export PATH="/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:$PATH" 4. Install librariesOpen up app "Terminal" sudo port selfupdate sudo port install automake autoconf git openssl gmp 5. Compile minerdgit clone https://github.com/noncepool/m7magi-cpuminer-v2 cd m7magi-cpuminer-v2 ./autogen.sh ./nomacro.pl ./configure CFLAGS="-O3" CXXFLAGS="-O3" make 6. start minerdFor example, nonce-pool: ./minerd -o stratum+tcp://mine2.magi.nonce-pool.com:4090 -u <username.worker> -p <password> Suprnova pool: ./minerd -o stratum+tcp://xmg.suprnova.cc:7128 -u <username.worker> -p <password> <username.worker> and <password> should be set up in a pool.

is it safe to generate a wallet when you are online? or recommended only offline? Copied security checklist shown in the website: - You appear to be running this generator off of a live website, which is not recommended for creating valuable wallets. Instead, use the download link at the bottom of this page to download the ZIP file from GitHub and run this generator offline as a 'local' HTML file.
- Your browser is capable of generating cryptographically random keys using window.crypto.getRandomValues
- Are you using a secure operating system guaranteed to be free of spyware and viruses, for example, an Ubuntu LiveCD?

It's hard to spread the hashrate because the 50 XMG reward is not always come in smaller pool. I can Get 100 Magi in half a day in nonce-pool, but 23 Magi for half a day in others. Somebody need to adjust this.
That is a short-term view and the somebody who needs to adjust is you, Sir ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Example: I spread my hashrate mostly between Suprnova and Noncepool in equal amounts. Earnings as follows: Last day: Suprnova 826 units, Noncepool 739 units Last week: Suprnova 9851 units, Noncepool 11115 units That is pretty even in my view. This is also despite Suprnova having less than half the pool hashrate of Noncepool (it has not always been this way either). You can never tell which pool (or individual) is going to mine the larger value blocks. While testing the miner on an old machine running at just 1.5 Kh/s it mined a block worth 67 XMG in under ten minutes of runtime. This is the magical thing about XMG. I love this coin. Making sure that you have accounts on multiple pools and spreading your hashrate between them ensures that you have "a finger in every pie" so to speak. Whichever pool mines the block, you are guaranteed a share in it. Every little bit helps and it adds up pretty quick too. Softly, softly. Catchee monkee. That's the ticket ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) At the present hashrate, the block reward is rather sensitive to the difficulty variation, that being said, the majority block rewards a pool earns could be very much dependent on "magic" blocks in a short term mining period. If we talk comparison in hours, that could be the truth. I suggest comparison of days'/weeks' mining. Spexx's results are a good example.

That depends on the dev and community! XMG is today 2 months old and just started!
You're right, and Joe is the best by far. But he may need a bigger team, I guess. The community here is the bigger team, what I felt like in the past month. Let's keep going that way.

I just wanted to give a quick reply, didn't catch that fact, sorry.
But I agree, even if we don't have to do with it, we still appreciate the additional attention.
All good, mate. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

So you guys are feeding inside information to "pump groups"?!
"KingArbinV the xmg dev said something last night to me about letting us know when he is going to release some new features for the pos II, so ill relay the info when he gives it to me, he is also the dev of another coin i help out with "
"Jaqen oh cool, that will definitely help us get some hype going glad we have someone on the inside so to speak "
These fucking pump groups and any devs feeding them information are a god damn disease to crypto!
Why are you so sure, in case that statement is true, that the DEV knew this user is part of a pump group? What's wrong, just as an example, to talk with users in the IRC channel? So when I for example tell you in IRC that we're planning to launch feature X and you make this public in your private pump group, I'm the bad boy? Although I get your point, I personally didn't hate the pump yesterday. Coin holders who wanted to sell were able to sell at higher prices, Magi got some attention in the crypto world and after the dump you can use your BTC to buy XMG at lower prices. But, of course, Magi shouldn't become a pump and dump coin. And I agree, pump groups shouldn't get insider information from the Dev team. The topic they are talking is incorrect. Any people in this community can see the unlikely of PoS-II, it's already out, nothing new, and do we have any news about to release? XMG advertised itself as a CPU coin, new block rewarding system, PoS-II; all have been released. What we're gonna to do is to get XMG some real stuffs, but not so good into the scope of p&d; quite weird of this. Well I like XMG gets the attention.

This really surprised me. I agree there were lots of buying yesterday, but did you see that we were releasing something and then got pumped (and this is not an exact pump but compared to past few days seems like that). The only news is the coinssource article, but you can confirm with the author that even I don't know when it will be published. I say I never told a person about the news & pumping. I agree what you posted could be something from a real group, but that is something other people are doing, none we can control. Also, the statement that people was talking is unlikely practical. PoS-II is already out, although we do have plan to improve it, but that really not something big deserved to pump; and do you think this is something I could told a pump group?? I am pretty sure many people out there are doing pumping and dumping in this cryptoworld, well I am suspecting XMG is yet kinda of "big" something deserved to pump. And I even don't think we have brilliant stuffs to feed into pumping. There were many updates in the past, and even many more news when XMG got into poloniex and bittrex. That would be the right time for a group to pump, but none happened. If other people are talking about XMG, that's good; I'm glad to see that even they are p&d group. But frankly speaking, I'd hate the pump that's the most harmful to a coin in some cases. Looking through this thread, do you think I am intending to do that and ruin XMG finally, even I doubt myself is experienced at marketing, let alone getting pumping. Just don't forget come back in the future when we release news and confirm if XMG gets pumped; I believe this is the way to confirm the pump argument.

I would like to welcome jawitech as our new team member. jawitech will act as "think-tank" (I've been already benefited a lot from him), replying to your questions and together with others be responsible for the marketing. You may already see jawitech's active posts, feel free to PM him whenever you have questions.
Thanks for your kind words, Joe. I'm proud to be a member of your team. I'm not very often online in the IRC channel, but regularly check bitcointalk. In case you need help, have questions, ideas or want to help us, just drop me a line via PM. Unfortunately I was offline for a few days but have to say, I'm impressed. A lot of activity here recently, really appreciate it. Any input from the community is welcome. No problem, mate; let's get sorted out. The things here and there just make me nervous. I may need to get a good sleep too though.
