1. I have no formal relationship with GAW. They appear to be using our profitability numbers as posted on the main page or possibly via poolpicker.eu.
2. They do not mine on multipool. They do payouts based on profitability reported by individual pools (which is completely unverified, as far as I know)
3. It is not clear that hashlets are actually mining anywhere, at this time. There is certainly not enough 'Unknown' hashrate on the LItecoin network to account for the amount of hashrate they say they have. Also, since they claim 200% profitability (which is mathematically impossible), they would need to have double that hashrate (i.e. each hashlet is actually buying 2MH of mining power, rather than the 1MH that's claimed) which would be about 500GH at this point.
My best guess is that they have hardware on the way to fill these orders, and they are simply paying payments out of cash reserves at this point. I don't think it's an intentional scam or ponzi, they are far too large and successful of a company to do anything like that on purpose. That said, if the hardware doesn't show up and they run out of cash, bad things could potentially happen.

So to answer to the op, they don't actually exist.  Not as physical miners, but they do exist. Can suchmoon update the OP to cover the circles we have run chasing this down? Along with the fact that we decided to stop chasing and let it come to us? Perhaps this thread can go on without you? If you decided to no longer pursue or consider options then there is no reason that you need to continue posting in this thread. Hear,hear. rdyoung went from asking the same kinds of questions everyone was to "don't ask anymore questions." Smells like a sellout. If you don't like the thread then just go away. |

Me too. Although I did get an email a few days ago saying they were going to give them away. I have received nothing indicating I actually got one. Do you have an account with zencloud? Or you do have hardware at home? You won't receive an email saying you got one, you need to login to zencloud to see it. Just hardware at home that I purchased from them. I have no account on zencloud so I guess that's why I didn't get one. |

Yeah you're right. I did get scammed for $15 of BTC. Probably a stupid idea anyway. I want to buy some mining hardware (I know it will never ROI) but I want to anyway. Not that virtual hashlet stuff a real physical piece of hardware. I asked in the goods thread if anyone would just give me their small dollar left over gawminers gift cards but had no takers.
Actually from looking at this part of the forums it looks pretty much infiltrated with scammers anyway.

They might very well exist and be hashing away (in my case two Ant S3's) but that once you cancel the hosting they keep the miners running but stop paying you and order with Bitmaintech to send you a new miner directly (well, max 21 days later).
I don't read that as max 21 days. It says gaws may take 21 days to send it to you AFTER they get it but they make NO PROMISE at all as to how long it will take them to get it. That could mean a year, literally. |

The descriptions on the new hashlets mention mining bitcoins but none of those pools mine bitcoins. Odd. This is the second time they have referred to mining bitcoins.
To be fair, they do "payout" in bitcoin. While its not 100% accurate it would be unwieldy to have it say, mines altcoins and autoconverts into bitcoin. I would say 90% of the people buying these at the moment have some idea what multipools are how they operate. I didn't realize that. It looks like it is trying to appeal to people who have no clue which makes sense from the ponzi scheme perspective. Not saying that it is ponzi scheme necessarily, just saying that I totally believe it to be a ponzi scheme. Someone also mentioned earlier in the thread that people were reinvesting their earnings. This is exactly what happened in a little scheme run by a guy named Charles Ponzi. Look it up, it makes for interesting reading. |

@rdyoung yep i totally agree, ya i went to far, but a ban for that? they don't believe in a warning or anything? hehe surprised they didn't permaban me  pretty insane how fast we were banned...and now its locked by the good ol CEO  And now either hashtalk is down, or they banned my ips. Gonna have to reroute and see whats what. Not just you. I was monitoring some threads there but have never posted and now I can't load any pages. |

Not looking to pay anything for these but I am hoping to make up the difference between what I can pay for and what something costs on the site. It's a long shot I know but if you have some credit on a gift card that would otherwise go to waste I would like it.

Is there a reason my estimated amount went down? My hashrate is unchanged, pool hashrate is mostly the same, difficulty is unchanged. And yet estimated amount has gone down something like 20%.
Pool wide hash rate, your hash rate, difficulty, consistent vs intermittent mining are basically the only things that affect the next-block estimates. Cant investigate further without your address... but since there are no issues with the pool's reward system it's probably pointless since it will just be one of the factors I've mentioned. As the round goes longer my estimated is going up. I had mined on this address from like Jan to May or something like that and then stopped. Then I started on this one again with my new S3's which would be maybe a little over a month now. Is it possible that all the recent good luck means my only shelved shares are months back in the queue so when a round starts my estimated is low until the round is long enough that only shares from the current round are being paid? |

Ponzi or not all I care if I get paid , if a ponzi works its great until it collapses , as long as you dont get caught at the last second , if you are in between you are in a get quick rich scheme that you can get paid  Ahh yes that is so true. You should mortgage your house and invest all of your savings in this since you are getting in on the ground floor. What could possibly go wrong? |
