1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Guide me How do you guys analyse and pick your picks to bet! on: December 01, 2016, 12:46:05 PM
I have been gambling from the past 3 months and have not made any profit yet just am in neutral no gain no loss. my 50% picks win and 50% lose .
need something which i am missing. which i don't know what am i missing.
Will love to know how you guys analyse a game and bet on it.
Thanks!

in my opinion the first step is knowing the teams and their history. for example i usually bet on esports and mostly on Dota2. in this game i have been familiar with the game, the meta, and the teams that play the tournaments for a couple of years and i know how they were performing in the past. all this can help decide what will happen when they face each other.

the second step is luck. if you do the first step properly then there is only luck that can chance the result and you can do nothing about it.
1282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Failed to Deliver ? on: December 01, 2016, 12:41:27 PM
I couldn't agree that Bitcoin is a failure. Even if it doesn't achieve everything that is expected, Bitcoin is the revolutionary thing and it will be remembered in history. It's one of the kind.
But we haven't seen all yet, Bitcoin is on the way to reach its peak, just wait and see.

i agree. bitcoin is still young.
and also the least thing that bitcoin has achieved is introduction of a new technology called blockchain which has opened up countless possibilities that even big financial companies are interested in pursuing.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS would be the hardest to shut down ??? on: December 01, 2016, 12:36:38 PM
you can never shut down crypto currencies! and the bigger the number of users a crypto currency has the harder it would be to hit it.

and as for altcoins they either die or if they have something to contribute they will stay alive and people will keep on using them as long as there is a development and there is an internet connection.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: December 01, 2016, 12:31:19 PM
For me I Think online gambling is more safe than real life gambling, especially if in your country gambling is illegal, because if you are gambling in real and you get caught by police, jail is waiting for you.
How can you say that online gambling is more than safer than real life gambling? In my country real gambling here in really legal because they have paper to run there business. In online gambling you do not know if you win the big jackpot and they manipulate it or change the rules term and condition then you wil not get what you've won.
In your country gambling is legal means then no issue you can play you will not get any issue in online or real gambling. Because you are just a player not an owner of the casino. If the gambling is legal in the country, then I think for players there is no restrictions are there, But yes the feeling and rules and conditions are different in both real and online gambling.
yeah some country allow online gambling as long as registered under certain institution, but prohibit and consider as illegal action if they gamble in the real casino . means everyone could gamble freely online , but not with real gambling. it seems not fair but you can't do anything as it's government policy , you have to obey on it.
If government will ban online gambling then you should really obey it because if they caught you you will end up jail but there are really ways to play online and its much possible to be accessible online rather than on playing gambling offline. VPN are still there which you could able to play gambling online without being caught by authorities but in offline gambling its not possible.
hard to track you down do online gambling actually , they prohibit online gambling by block the gambling sites , you can still use vpn to access it but then when you want to make a withdrawal to your bank account there might an inspection must be done especially if your withdrawal amount so fat. and again bitcoin come to save your ass from those annoying regulation, bitcoin really embodiments of a freedom.

if the website is located outside of that country that is the only case where it is hard to crack down on them but when they are located on servers within the country the government can easily go to them and ask for taxes. and that is all this is about "Taxes" if they can take it, gambling would be legal and if not gambling would be illegal.

i believe it was Philippians that banned only "online" gambling because the president said we can not tax it!
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Increasingly difficult to make a profit from gambling. whether the cause? on: December 01, 2016, 11:36:41 AM
I used to get in profit or gain from the bitcoin gambling easily even able to purchase goods each month. but different from the longer to get profit from gambling more difficult. if more and more people are gambling and the higher price of bitcoin cause ?. I would like to hear your opinion

i think this is what most gamblers experience and it is called beginners luck. you win and have a good time when you are new to gambling and make profit but after a while you feel like you are losing more than ever. but in fact nothing has changed.

when you gamble for long time the fun fades away so what you see is only losses. but in fact if you keep a record of all your wins and losses you can see  that the percentage showing your luck is still the same.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins in Gambling on: December 01, 2016, 11:29:46 AM
Hello.
I am not very knowledgeable with bitcoin and other altcoins but I have noticed that altcoins that can be used in popular gaming/gambling sites tend to be a solid coin-type unlike others that I really don't see the value in keeping.
My question now is how can a specific coin be included or played in gambling sites? Is it only because the owner of the gambling site and the developer of that coin agreed to or are there factors or qualities necessary before a coin can be added to the gambling site?
The popularity of the coin comes first before you can gamble with it or gambling with it makes it popular?

if you look at the altcoins that all these gambling sites have included in their website for you to deposit you can see that these altcoins are mostly coins that are popular. because there is no point in adding a random altcoin that nobody even knows about.

having that altcoin means spending your server resources for running their wallet and that is expensive and you should only do it if people are willing to make bets with those altcoins.
1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to hack your bitcoin from your wallet? on: December 01, 2016, 11:24:59 AM
Just come it to my mind. is it possible? to get hook into your wallet and send some to another wallet? Undecided
everything is possible i think can if you not be carefully with your private key
I think people will not be hacking the private key. you have to be careful with the spam in your email it might be a phishing or the like, use authentication so that they can not enter. although getting your password

hacking private key and losing it are two different things. private keys on their own are string enough that it makes hacking them impossible if that is what you were thinking.
and so far whoever had lost bitcoin or their private keys were because they have lost them. like using an unsafe computer which has keylogger on it or entering their private keys on a website which they don't know.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2016, 03:21:03 PM
What do you think that will happen once the real Satoshi reveals himself (and proves that he created Bitcoin)? Will Bitcoin ever be the same? Will governments try to pursue Satoshi and put him in jail?

This will be something interesting to know, once it happens (if it ever does) sometime in the future. Please feel free to share your thoughts here.  Smiley
i feel the same . since i know bitcoin until now i still don't understand why satoshi not introduce himself..

the reason is actually pretty simple in my opinion.
it is a symbol that proves the level of anonymity bitcoin is offering. it shows that it is possible to potentially stay anonymous while using bitcoin.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what's happen for ethereum price? any new news on: November 29, 2016, 03:14:12 PM
ethereum price dropped to under 8$ (about 7.90$ !!!)
what's happen?
any news about it? Huh Huh Huh Huh

nothing new!

it is the same horrible code (poorly coded altcoin) with lots of bugs and lots of hard forks in a desperate attempt to fix them.

it is the sameover-hyped altcoin with lots of shill accounts that are all hiding now since price has been falling.

and on top of that it is the same story in altcoin market that happens at least one times each year.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make your first bets safely on: November 29, 2016, 03:07:56 PM
When should I start betting?
If you start betting with your first few satoshis it isn't going to be worth at all. You will risk everything you already got in order to get something about 70 satoshis.
I highly recomend you to start betting with your first 5k satoshis!

You should always gamble with amounts that you can afford to lose. that is what everyone knows.
but your mistake is that you want to start with a very small amount. 5K satoshi is 3 cents which is ridiculously small and you will get bored and give up soon.

if you are worried too much about money then start with at least $1 i am sure you can afford losing $1 and you increase your bankroll by ~33.3x
and with 0.0013BTC you can sustain a lot more losses and come back than you can with 0.00005BTC
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moment of silence for Ethereum please.... on: November 29, 2016, 03:02:12 PM
stages of Ethereum:
1. not knowing it, super low prices and accumulation by the whales.
2. spam, hype, leading to pump and then some more pump. lead to high price.
3. claiming to replace bitcoin, hype some more, whales pumping lead to super high price.
4. whales cash out, price falls. dumping phase.
5. some more P&D to make more money
6. price free falling every day and denial phase thinking it will come back.
7. (future) dead cat bounces and more dumps, then bag holders selling
8. final stage a new coin named BlahBlah starts step 1
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MY gambling strategy to limit loss and make btc on: November 29, 2016, 02:57:17 PM
Before I given think of my strategy its important to have a fast Internet and try to avoid mobile sites I.e sports betting....strategy is not to bet all my bank roll and stay relaxed if I have 5 bad bets in a roll then that's a wrap for the day

- Internet speed is not a factor in gambling at all. and i say this from experience of someone with slow internet connection. it is obvious that a high speed internet connection is favorable but it won't affect your results at all.

- sports betting has no relation with being mobile site! that doesn't even make any sense. you can open the site on mobile and also the speed and what you use to visit the site has no effect on your result either.

- in the end if you have an strategy that thinks ahead about losses you don't have to wait between losses, just stick to the plan.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 29, 2016, 02:52:52 PM
I had some free time and i went ahead and made the chart that i meant above.
I believe this is much more informative than just having the chart for total profit:

[i m g]https://i.imgur.com/PbRDvAK.jpg[/img]

p.s. i could not continue past week 10 since new casinos were added and the investment amount was changed.

Great chart. Thanks for the time to share. By the way you can make the updates and even add those new site and additional investments thru gains percentaging. This way you can clearly identify the gains/loss per site as there were added amounts at Safedice.

great suggestion, i changed the x axis from profit to percentage and i could add the rest and also include the change in investment from 1 to 1.75 which happened in safedice

I liked the results myself too, you can see this way that the purple line (crypto-games) looks to be the best one so far in this 3 months. and bitvest although being a shot time the worst.

Nice chart, crypto-games seems to be most safest to invest, very stable line. Bitvest hm what to say, very big max win is allowed for plinko, but math should work for long run. If you invested in all those sites it should be something around hm..10% profit?

Superb presentation mate, your chart will impress many gamblers to invest their money in gambling sites. I will refer your thread if anybody asks any question regarding Investment. Yes since last few months the Betking and Crypto games are giving good profit.

This is a brilliant plot of it all! Bravo

Wow! This is a perfect presentation along with OP's weekly updates. With Betking's planned sale and returning all investments on the 30th of December, I expect casino investors to flock to other sites most especially Crypto-Games. Although starting December 1, Crypto-Games will also start to change the investors winnings share from 80% to 70% so they can have more fund for promotions. Someone from Crypto-Games mentioned that investors can actually earn more since aggressive promotions means more people playing.

This is very interesting and i am a bit disappointed because i wanted to start investing in crypto-games and now i don't know about it because 10% is not really a big deal when going from 80 to 70% but at the same time it is a new change.

1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2016, 02:47:35 PM
There are several articles on the internet that are suggesting that the recent increases in price can be attributed to Trump winning and even before the win, the fact that he had a chance to win boosted the price. Even fortune.com has an article about it.

people assign bitcoin price changes to many strange things, and nobody can tell for sure if it was really true or not in reality. but i am only confident about one thing, and that is the fact that when people are starting to talk about an incident and keep saying that is going to affect bitcoin price (in any ways) then than incident will surely affect bitcoin price in the way there were talking about.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: November 28, 2016, 02:33:42 PM
Just want know how much the gamblers who use analysis when play gambling and what kinds of gambling game? And do you think it is needed or not making analysis on gambling game or it is depend on lucky. Thanks for share your opinions and experience.

I think if you are talking about poker or sports betting, analysis is crucial if you want to maximize your wining potential.
If you are talking about casino games, then I don't think it's worth it, since it's mainly based on pure luck, and there is nothing you can do about it.

i have tried all kinds of different games and from someone with little experience in everything i have to tell you that some sort of analysis is always good in any kind of game. i mean even  a simple sitting back and thinking about a strategy that you are going to use even in the simplest games such as dice can be considered as analysis and that is actually so helpful if you try it.
1296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: November 28, 2016, 02:24:16 PM
Exact, here the question is the time it takes to reach 1000 $  Undecided

look again bro, it is about 1000 BTC not 1000 $
$1000 is nothing in this day and age, and although it is different in different countries with different level of minimum wage but you can earn it with a simple job in a month at least!

the goal should be much more than a minimum wage and i do really believe that if you put your mind into earning 1000BTC you can do it in a short time but needs confidence and hard work and it will certainly never happen over night with no experience and sleepless nights.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Overestimating Ethereum's potential, underestimating its risks. RIP ethereum. on: November 28, 2016, 02:18:42 PM
"I think a lot of people buying into it have been materially mislead.  For example the 'prospectus' they sent out made it look like the supply of coins was finite instead of endlessly inflating.  Without that knowledge the argument "oh, well eventually they'll fix the bugs and it'll be valuable then" makes more sense.

Similarly, it was promoted as a "world computer" which will replace all the major online services like facebook, uber, etc... even though that makes basically no sense from the perspective of what the technology could actually do even if it were bug free."  - Greg Maxwell

Stop being duped. People are finally opening their eyes and Ethereum is dying.

no offense but your topic now has no value because right now even a child could tell what is going on with ethereum and how terrible the situation with it is.

those who posted topics 1-3 months ago meant something because if someone could see past all the hype and lies that is worth something not after price dropped drastically to 0.011 from 0.03 and you made sure it is never going back up!

eth wont die. BTC died many times. and is it dead now? only the price will correct to 10$ and then stay there. this is the reasonable price for ETH.

and if the price rises over 20$ again, then "everybody" will write: "ETH is the new BTC".....

even if it goes back up it would still be a huge pump and it will eventually end up back here and going more down again but this time in a shorter time.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling for Good, think for your loved ones on: November 28, 2016, 02:13:51 PM
there is no reason to quit gambling if you are not abusing!
it is very simple, gambling is a game that is available to us online and with bitcoin easy and fast to have some fun while playing it. then on the side of it there is a chance of also making some profit so why would i want to leave something like that as long as i am making profit and most importantly i am having fun playing the games.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Increasingly difficult to make a profit from gambling. whether the cause? on: November 28, 2016, 02:07:13 PM

i believe that you are mistaken because nothing has changed so far and gambling is the same as it was before. unless you are talking about a certain kind of game on a certain website i can not give you any certain answer for sure but maybe the site has changed some stuff like their house edge or maybe they are cheating you if it is one of unpopular sites.

anyways the most possible case is that you are experiencing the unlucky part of gambling after a long lucky streak.
1300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Bitcoin and Chinese Yuan Values Correlate? on: November 28, 2016, 02:03:40 PM
Low cost electricty, low cost for mining equipment and almost no any government regulation on chinese bitcoin trading platform helping bitcoin to boom in china. And Chinese can easily hedge against their yuan devaluation by investing into bitcoin so bitcoin and chinese yuan value shows correlation.

was there really a Yuan devaluation or was it a hypothetical situation that the article is talking about?
besides the no regulation is on all the exchanges, how do you think we are all trading on these platforms without having to report anything to the big tax man!
