why is there now law in the usa, that allows someone who has been accused of racism, to sue the defamer, if he is absolutely not racist?
many big american tv and newspapers like cnn nyt, washington journal constantly defame others of racism. why can't they be sued, easier

A man has made at least a start on discovering the meaning of human life when he plants shade trees under which he knows full well he will never sit. D. Elton Trueblood https://tribuna.com/en/liverpoolfc/news/3486001/It's beautiful to see this. a humanist wants to help his people, only as long as he has the endurance (financial, psychological, social) to do so a capitalist would only help the humans if it would give him the maximum profit a materialist takes the ferraris over the people

Iran already admitted that it was their own fault and they thought that it was a US military plane, I don't see why they couldn't identify it as it was took off from the air port. Also Russians condemned this act as soon as Iran accepted it. I don't think there is any other side to this story. It was a human error and sadly it's too big to regret.
damit islam works good, don't lie or you go to hell. iran is much more trustworthy, than the usa.

Russians wouldn't do this, there's no any benefit in this
He is not suggesting Russians did this, only that they used Russian made weapons to do it. damn russians have become libertarian capitalists after end of cold war, americans should look at the russians and see the mirror of what they are with their liberalism

a society that seeks to explore the universe, should be capable understanding that genders are also constructed.
and that between man and women there is interval and even outside of them (superfemale, supermale) exists.
you are either science fiction driven or exploration driven, or you are another one of those judeo/christian suiciders

Can't really blame America for this, it's pretty much existed for most of history, with various cultures having their own way of responding to it, from the indifference of the Greeks to the outright violent response of Islam. I would however blame America for the toxic femininity the world is experiencing right now. Basically this, but on a planet-wide level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMucmRlPZK0When you read the Bible you will see that Homosexuality has been there for a very long time, look at what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah because they wanted to carnally know the Angel's of the Lord. This has nothing to do with America but because everyone can seemingly do what they want there. Most people say they are gay and proceed to do it thought most of them are mostly experimenting. for humans without certain type of technologies and social organisation homosexuality doesn't work. but it can work.

That's an op-ed. It's not written by a NYTimes journalist and does not reflect the stance of the NYTimes in any way.
It's literally just the opinion of a single person. In this case, Afua Hirsch. Interesting you don't feel the need to apply this same standard to Zero hedge. It is almost as if you are seeking to confirm your bias... Zero hedge is a finance/alt-right blog (mostly written by the same guy, but it may be more than one guy, but we're not sure who's actually writing it because they all just post under the same pseudonym). The problem I have with them is they write all their blog posts as if they are news articles and the opinion is only from one point of view. The NYTimes prints opinions for many points of views. It's not uncommon for them to have dueling op-eds right next to each other with completely different opinions on the same subject. there never was true democracy money ruled the world. true democracy is not possible

nyt has published it and defamed brits as racists, they should pay several hundred millions for that. time these jackass media gets punished.

Its symbolic, at least, but more importantly a message that a president simply cannot do whatever he wants, when he wants. Yeah! Serves him right for conducting US foreign policy exactly as he is supposed to be doing!
us is a democracy after all well trump was elected to do that. democrats should better follow orders. they won't likely survive 2020 election though.

Sorry, you really can't apply human or even mammalian concepts of sexuality to insects.
nature involves everything in nature, there are also mamals than run states, naked mole rats create feminist states https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naked_mole-ratand if you look back into pre christian history, you will find even more, gay romans, indians, chinese, africans, and also matriachic ruled india. human body cells also create a state the cells are gender neutral. regards Just a clarification. You can defend sexual behaviors all you want, and there are many valid defenses. But justification by comparison with insects is just plain ridiculous. This is also true for a comparison with different mammalian species. the universe is a big place, there could be huge insectoid species, that live like insects, besides there are feminists and feminist kinder gardens, there are also people that research artificial womb, that are signs for a societial organisation similar like the one of a insect state, not to mention muslim harems, where in a city more than 50% of the women where basically property of a single man. you call yourself smart using a computer, then at least be smart, and open. the universe is big, complex and diverse, if you don't like it become a farmer again. regards Yes, but wasn't your position (paraphrasing...) homosexuality is okay because (A) (B) (C) reasons... An ethical or moral justification can't be made by comparison with insects. Sexuality in mammals varies widely. Some have been studied a lot, some species hardly at all. As an example of a valid justification, suppose a king in the Middle Ages wanted to maximize male baby production so he could have the biggest armies. He might well set social incentives for baby production both through marriage and out of marriage sex, and set negative social incentives for gay behavior. That's totally rational - in that context. i dont mind homosexuality if its not toxic for a society homosexual behavior can be balancing and beneficial for a society, bee swarms wouldn't work as they work harmonically if they wouldn't be homosexual/gender neutral. issues are about sustainability etc.

Trump is impeached by the house and will then go to senate for trial.
This is a fact.
And this is good. Why? Because it shows the common people that the House Dems are corrupt. After all, the only reason they are impeaching Trump - the best President since Reagan - is because Trump is cleaning up the corruption. exactly my oppinion

The U.S. has made a huge mistake and will pay a price for it. What is that mistake? Electing Obama President, of course.
Sleeper cell President? Obama granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians as part of securing nuclear dealAs tensions ramp up (anew) between the United States and Iran following President Trump’s decision to take out Tehran’s terrorist mastermind, Al-Quds Force leader Gen. Qassem Soleimani, it’s worth remembering all of the things President Obama did to empower that regime at the expense of American security.
Not only was the so-called “nuclear deal” a sham that temporarily postponed Iran’s atomic weapons development, but Obama and his chief deputy on the deal, Secretary of State John Kerry, enriched the Iranians and, likely, put Americans at risk.
One of the concerns following the targeting of Soleimani by critics (and some allies) of the president is that the Iranians will retaliate for it at a time and place of their choosing.
Writing for Natural News this week, founder and editor Mike Adams claimed that Tehran could soon activate “sleeper cells” its proxies have placed inside the U.S. long ago:
…Islamic terrorist networks have been in place for years. What most Americans don’t yet fully realize is that Barack Obama helped fund these terror networks through a complex international money laundering scheme that delivered over $150 billion to Iran during the Obama administration. At least $1 billion went to fund Iran’s nuclear weapons program, with full knowledge from Obama. (Obama also helped Iran capture a U.S. drone and two Navy boats in order to give Iran U.S. military encryption technology.)
As a result, radical Islamic terror cells have a pervasive presence in New York, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Orlando, Tucson and many other cities.
He’s not alone in that concern. Writing in The Federalist... that won't be an issue, the war is not against iran or iranians its simply a war against a policy they made.

(facepalm x3) its wise enough for Iran to stay away from USA
U.S. Citizens should honestly prepare themselves for an upcoming war.
if they really think they can take on America.
iran are not attacking america or its citizens.. iran are defending their country against foreign military that are in iran.. they want that military to get out and go home american citizens have nothing to fear. american citizens eat and sleep thousands of mile of land and thousand mile if water away from iran.. calm down you have no idea what iran seeks, iran tries to become a regional hegemon, then attacking and insulting others, bullying them, iran tried to pressure european leaders to spend 400 billion for the reconstruction of syria. they are not just an economic or communist power seeking to develop themselves and the region like germany they are active imperialists.

I'm pretty stuck on using WSJ and NYTimes for my news these days, not paying for it anymore thankfully (thanks Twitchy) because of ( https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome) which is beyond helpful. Pretty big fan of both sites for news, though I do like the WSJ editorial section more. Wanted to know if everyone else could share the news sources that they use and like, maybe even some authors in particular, etc. Always looking for a new reputable source of news. Let me know. Even if you guys have some sort of aggregate that you use (Like RealClearPolitics or Apple News, etc, anything is appreciated) This is going to be a self moderated thread, so please don't sig spam or I'll delete it, thanks wsJ and nyt are both bigotted.

Just keep in mind in evaluating things, that the USA does not need Middle East oil anymore. Thanks to fracking, those days are over.
Because oil is a fungible resource, it is likely that no part of this fracas with affect oil prices.
the problem is imperialism, attacking us embassies revealed that treaties with iran are worthless they are no partners they are imperialists No, the problem is, all the fracking in CA is setting off some massive earthquakes. When CA falls off into the Pacific, Iran might win by default. fracking isn't that dangerous, also there are increasingly electric cars. the middle eastern oil is not needed in the west, there are alternatives, but we all know that they will constantly threathen the west, thats why they want nuclear weapons

but most importantly nature has clear homosexual features, bee and ant states are almost 100% lesbian(feminist homosexuality). termite states are almost 100% gender neutral. so american evangelics, if you don't understand nature. or feel threatened by homosexuals, dont talk trash about nature. comming from someone who was also once homophobic, but out of scientific truth is completely aware that it is kind of natural.
The problem with this statement is that you are picking something that suites you but if you pick those then some animals have cannibalistic instincts . As humans do what suits you the best without harming others and if you stop judging others and keep on doing what is best for you then the world would have been a better place. from racism to sexuality a single featue like size insektoid humanoid skincolor is interchangable and extractable from an organic konzept.
