I'm hedging. I'm short a similar option as part of another transaction.

However, in reality the exposure I'm hedging isn't that big a deal to me, so the main reason I'm doing it is to promote and establish templates for more option trading in this community.

In the future of course, they don't all have to be so far out of the money.

I have no desire to keep it private. In fact I would prefer to work out the details in public so others can reuse the structure for options trading if they wish to do so. If you have 10 ant miners your best bet in terms of reducing variance is to split them up roughly proportional to pool network share. You can shade that if you want to express a view about the value of the pools (trustworthiness, fees, etc.). For example, I put an extra share of my mining on p2pool even thought it has low network share, and I avoid the high fee pools, but split across most of the others.
