I said at the start of the season I would reserve my comment about our new manager but I think I can finally say after the weekend that Nuno is definitely not the man for the job. I knew he was never going to be Pochettino,,, and I knew he would never be as toxic as Jose,,, however after the session of blaming players, and also talking about Alli I wonder if the ghost of Jose has come back. It was an enjoyable match. The two teams are strong enough. So and the competitive match we expected. Atlanta has attacked a lot throughout the match. They made a total of 17 shots, but only 3 shots were on target. Lazio, on the other hand, had fewer attacks but their attacks were excellent. They made only 8 shots, of which 5 were on target shots. However, Atalanta's fortunes were very good. They are sure to be saved from defeat. Marten De Rauna scored in the 90th minute to save Atalanta.
Lazio will feel they were so close to winning this and probably deserved it as the more clinical finisher,,, but Atalanta also will say they got their just rewards for never giving up and shooting on sight. That last goal would not have been possible though if it was not injury time, everyone was so tired near the end. And today we have Roma trying to prove to everyone they are still contenders. |

Even though Mancity controlled everything but WestHam was able to survive until the end of the match, I don't know why Mancity didn't really try to win, even though in terms of kicks more came out of Mancity but in the end they had to lose on penalties. I have to give up my bet. Liverpool were pretty consistent they definitely won, and Tottenham won dramatically, but their game was pretty good too. Both manchesters have been knocked out in the EFL cup. And both by the same team, it is like magic for all their rivals and imagine who you have to thank at West Ham for doing such a great job of soaking up the pressure. So, the funny thing is I was hoping City would go through as my team Spurs somehow managed to get 1 header past and be in the quarterfinals. Because I have a feeling we are going to meet Brentford or West Ham and we will somehow lose to them Whereas we seem to turn up for games against City.
