Well, it's a good idea I think. Bitcoin is anonymous and it's perfectly fits for porn sites where mostly people don't want their identity revealed. They can use bitcoin to buy things on porn sites with no worries.
that is a good point but it is only considering one part of the deal. so yeah as an adult you may want to protect your privacy and keep your identity to yourself and don't reveal it online. but for the sites, they are legally forced to not allow minors on their site and with bitcoin they can not know if their visitors are legal or not. |

95% + responses of most people seem to say they will devide their BTC for Trading, cold storage, casino gambling, Holding etc. So no one is prepared to go all in on one form of investment?
no because 20 bitcoin is 15,000 USD and no one is so eager to lose it all in one place. and we all know that any kind of investment comes with some type of risk no matter what kind of investment it is. so that is where diversifying comes in. you invest in different things to reduce the risks of losing. although i should add that in some rare occasions specially since 15K is not really a very huge amount, you can go all in something that you feel 99% sure about and thing it will reward you. |

To play gambling in a smart way just remember do not bet all your money in one bet because if that bet lose then you will not have a chance to recover that loss. So bet wise and do not be greedy you should control yourself when to stop. Most people just keep betting even they are winning already and they will end up losing after the end of the day.
I think this is the smart way to play gambling, don't be greedy and if you lose so much then just calm your mind and control your self unless if you don't want to all your all bitcoin. in short i have found that the best way is that if you make a plan and then stick to it no matter what happens and what changes, you always stick to the plan. this way, all the things you said like greed, losing your cool and ... will automatically vanish because you force yourself to always follow the same rules. |

from what i have experienced so far, any kind of gambling can potentially be profitable enough for you when you are playing them because what all of these games have in common is that they all depend on luck and luck is what we can not predict and it can be kind to us enough to make us win big time.
although there are some games like sports betting which always lessen the effects of luck in our bets as long as we possess the necessary skills which are required to win in these games.

I suggest not just put all your money in any one site because you may lose big percentage of your investment if anyone wins a big amount. So it is good to put your money in few good sites, so your losses will reduce in such worst cases. I never keep all my money in any one site. Actually you may put all to one investment more over if gambling inveatment though because in the end house always get profit so it just matter of time when you will reocver it though. what you ask -as others have pointed out- is available in the stats page to everyone what you should have asked was where do they come from, as in their IP address for example which country sends the most visitors. I have talked with several of my friends about it and had a couple of them even bite for a bit, but they quickly forget about it and they move on. I guess I am just curious if Bitcoin trend is growing still or if it is more stable, or at a standstill.

i have had that problem with my friends and all those who i have introduced to bitcoin. they all face the same problems: "no place to use bitcoin" and i guess until that problem exists we will have a hard time introducing bitcoin to others. |

If you are gambling in sports and poker then surely you need experience as you have to do lot of strategy and analyze about the match before going to bet so that you can win the bet but if you are playing in casino or dice games then experience wont work their only luck is working
Yes those you have mentioned that doesn't really require experience are good for those people who are new into gambling. Because base on my experience, I am thinking just because I did some gambling before which is poker, I thought that all types of gambling games are the same since I am experienced one and how I know how it goes, but in reality things are different and experience do sometime matters and sometimes don't. every game needs some amount of experience it is not like you can just go in and start winning, even in dice games if you go in without any experience or trying it first you will end up losing and there is no one here that can deny the effect of a good strategy for winning in dice or similar games. and the rest of the skill based games goes without saying that they absolutely need lots of experience. |

the basic idea of steemit was a faulty one and i have said this the first day i heard about it that this project is not going to become big. and in my opinion the only reason that steemit could even become the size it was in its glorious days was the fact that they were giving a lot of money away!
so it made a temporary state where a lot of people could post a simple post there and make a decent amount of money but ever since those days ended and everyone started to dump their easily gained coins on market, the price took a hit.

It is almost impossible to win in the long run with gambling because the chance of losing is ways bigger and those loses are going to keep stacking.
If you want to win more then you should be good in poker, there you can make it happen that you win more times then lose.
I agree with this, because for me poker is more on strategy than luck, once you know how to play poker and you are good by playing it, for sure you will win as often as you can with it than to play gambling games with just a luck. thats right the advantage is always in your side if you know how to play properly its not just poker but also sports bets the more you know the game the more edge we have and it will easy to predict what will be the outcome of our bets. this is an interesting question in my opinion and there are a bunch of interesting replies but i think it comes down to how hard will be banned or made illegal.
and as someone who lives in a country that still has no rule about bitcoin and there has only been talk about it i fear these things but i guess i will continue holding some in my cold storage in any case but reduce my usage.
