That's the time we can officially say that after 2/3 of the Q4 we have seen a great crypto market crash, and this year is totally different when compared to last 3.
Now, I think the question is, how long will it take to rebound to the levels it was during the boom? 2013 crash took basically 4 years to get back to the point it was (if we are talking about Bitcoin price). Will this take as long? Anyway, seems like a real bear market is ahead of us.

Holding on a cold wallet is the best strategy. Just ride the rocky road and wait for your profits to grow.
Maximizing profits by selling and buying adds risks, many trading sites have gone bust. So I would only do that with a small selection of coins.

While you have cash to burn.. sure buy away. Just remember not to sell if the price goes down, just buy more. Don't go all in, spreading out your buys over a longer period of time, is the best advice. Buy in small increments and average your price in. It's impossible to time the bottom.
You never lose if you don't sell below your buy in price.

There's never a need to enter at one particular time. Better to pace your buys over a few weeks or months. My own willy is telling me Jan/Feb is when we might hit the gutter.
Obviously if you're a believer now is still an OK time since it's 80% down.
Probably a false statement but you can only go down $4k and the upward potential is $16k. Buying on the way down might be a good approach instead of getting caught out whilst waiting. |

How can you be sure? It seems kind of asymmetric to a chicken and egg dilemma in my mind. People follow TA and therefore act in a certain way that makes TA accurate. Or people act in a certain way and TA is able to accurate predict that. I truthfully do not know which one is truth.
I guess either way does not matter, what matters is that it tends to work.
It's what they call a self fulfilling prophecy. If you have enough followers that do what you suggest, then you have a high probability it will happen. You invest ahead of your advice and you can float your winnings and get more people aboard. |

what surprises me the most is the fact that nothing about any of these nonsenses (bitcoin is dead, etc) are new! we have had the same strategy used multiple times in the past on the same large scale as today to push the price lower and lower so that they can buy at cheaper prices. but people still pay it a lot of attention for some reason!
my theory is that everyone at some point started loving FUD and use it to their own advantage for shorting bitcoin or buying it in the dip which is why we keep on seeing the same bullshit have the same effect over and over again!

Crypto experts are also human that will commit mistakes or errors, I will not decide base on what they said and predicted because I will be responsible on my decisions. I believe that crypto is too volatile to make a prediction and if those predictions are true then most of us are now millionaires. Also there is nothing like a free lunch. "experts" shout what they want to happen for them to make a profit. If an expert has a lot of followers then you get a "self fulfilling proficy". He shouts it will go up, people buy and the price goes up because people are buying. Anyway make up your own mind and don't follow "experts" like sheep. |

People that really "needs" the money, should never, ever borrow the money.

Nothing in this world allows you the increase your financial stability, your profits and your social status like borrowing a hella amount of money. Though of course you must be smart about what you do with the investments. I just borrowed 250k€, that's about 7 years of salary for me. The interests are basically 0 if you take inflation into consideration so that's basically just me borrowing to my future self to increase my current income ^^ If I could borrow 4M€ I would Well, as I said it depends on what you do what that borrowed money. If you use it for getting a better bigger house for living in it, instead as an investment to get a rent. If you use it to buy a better car, to buy better clothes, or to basically have more "free" money to spend on whatever you think makes you feel better as many people did, then that's where the problem comes. People borrowed money and started to spend it like they had already earned it.... That's what basically happened. If you are able to get someone to lend you 4M at almost no interest, and are also able to invest it wisely and safely without upping your lifestyle until you can really do it with YOUR OWN money, then it is ok. Anyways, I would consider that to be way overleveraged... but to each their own. But that's not what most of the people that later couldn't afford to make the repayments did. +1. Only live large on money YOU own. Only live large on borrowed money when you know you will be dead when they come for the cash.... |
