Feigning ignorance is a poor tactic to try to prove innocence. Ponzis are known to not be sustainable. You collaborated through Skype with your partner about how much you could squeeze out through this endeavor. You schemed to have friends that deposited first, be paid out first.
You were part of the scam. Sure you didn't run with the funds but you contributed and endorsed it. Just as liable in my opinion. The trust should always stand.
They are pretty sustainable if you ask me. Look at weeklyponzi and 24hourponzi (same guy), nothing unsustainable about it, unless the players finally get bored of it, but that's possible through any game. I did not scheme to have any friend deposit first, and look at the timestamps of these games, they were all after the time released so even if I did scheme (which I didn't) it would be fair game. Also about "how much we could squeeze", who doesn't want higher volume? Pretty sure primedice would rather have 1000 btc in bets than 1 btc. More volume = more fees for us, and its also lots of fun to watch. I'm not going to argue ponzi semantics again. Those ponzis are almost dead. Less and less people deposit each day or week and more are complaining about not getting paid. There is no way to use the provably fair system for them. No way to prove manipulation doesnt exist. You should have realized this before supporting a known scamming platform. There are plenty of provably fair gambling games you could have contributed your time to but you chose the get rich quick scam. You'll have a tough time finding sympathy here |

Yeah, all that newbie coin and you can't get your hands on it....  The truth is nobody needs ponzis, only the ponzi operators. "Ponzi games" can never be shown to be honest games of chance anyway and never will, if the operator doesn't just run off, no one can ever be sure that he's not the first in line for the payout anyway. True. And nobody needs to gamble either. But then again, if you weren't a "gambler" you would have no reason to even be participating in this subforum, but here you are. If you think that dice sites and poker sites are "games of chance" I have some swap-land for sale just for you. Look. The bottom line is that a card player or dice player will play a game because it brings them excitement, helps them pass the time, or quite frankly some get off on it. The same thing applies to those who participate in Ponzis. If everyone knows whats going on and everyone knows what the rules of the game are, and everyone still plays the game, who is really being hurt? If I want to gamble I'll do it at a sportsbook or games that are provably fair, not risk my money on a ponzi where the chance of manipulation or scamming are high. Its not a gamble when your risk exceeds a certain point. Its just stupidity to play. |

Giving someone negative trust for disagreeing with you sets a dangerous precedent and degrades the value of the trust system overall (especially if you are part of DefaultTrust)
The situation with WC has been unique to say the least, threads cluttered with alt accounts and shills. To say that Nubbins is tarnishing the reputation of honest users is a bit much. There has been some deceit from WC and Nubbins has tried to caution new/old customers to look closer at what they are actually purchasing. He has certainly been aggressive in his methods.
I think Nubbins should be educated on how his trust ratings are affecting users not confirmed to be scammers before being removed

You could probably do 250k with the right connects but easier to break it up as other people have said. Pushing 5 sets of 50k wouldn't be crazy difficult through localbtc
