Two EASY things you can do right now to help BlackCoin and your own investment:
1) Stop replying to obvious trolls. Do not quote them. Use the ignore function. Don't shoot down curious questioners, but we all know when it goes from curiosity to purposeful FUD - ignore them. Do not engage.
2) Subscribe to the reddit! http://www.reddit.com/r/BlackCoin - shifting community discussion/debate/brainstorming to a different platform than bitcointalk is needed badly, now. Reddit's upvote/downvote system takes care of FUD pretty painlessly. Reddit's DOGE community is what made DOGE what it became - and the size of a subreddit's subscriber-base is largely viewed as representative of the quality/strength of its community - so subscribe! Bitcointalk's forum software is a relic of the last decade, it's time to move on. One thread is painfully insufficient to handle the growth that our community has experienced. Yeah i hate making bussiness with guys that attack other networks (mint 51 attack on POW phase) just for profit (by spreading fear in forums), but what the fuck money is money. Couldn't agree more. The BC community is full of arrogance. I think it was the same during the heydays of MINT (and we still have some, but much less than before - stupid people leave when the money leaves and the one who stay are of a much more agreeable company). I guess money makes people crazy, they don't even respect each other (how many times did I read "full of shit, idiot, dumbass" and other nice name -and no, it was not directed at me). I am pretty confident though, that once the immature posters will be out, the Blackcoin community will benefit from a much higher signal-to-noise ratio. Because Blackcoin, like Mintcoin, Ghostcoin, Zeitcoin and other fast PoS coin, really is important for the crypto-community, because it leads to the end of carbon pollution (BTC pollutes as much as Cyprus http://pando.com/2013/12/16/bitcoin-has-a-dark-side-its-carbon-footprint/). I learnt a lot during this month of March. I learnt how people lose their head when money is in. I learnt that a long-term project matters - and your Blackcoin card project is one interesting project. I learnt to stay emotionnally detached to a coin, because no coin, not even BTC is worth becoming inhuman as a lot of poster becames. They should be ashamed of their behaviour. Because shame is the best way to learn (the second best is playing, and it is much nicer one, by the way). My advice: find yourself a goal. Mintcoin's goal is sustainable development - and I can tell you it is much more important now than in February when money was al that counted (even for me). Blackcoin has the opportunity to find its own goal - for a while, I believe it was possible to replace LTC and it should be something to do, since LTC is PoW and pollutes the planet. Believe my experience from Mintcoin: the next days will be the harshest ones. Then your morale will rise again because you will find yourself a new goal. Look at the Kubler-Ross model on the five stages of grief. Blackcoin for now is somewhere between Denial and Bargaining. The next days will be Depression - that's the harsh part. Then I have a good news: the final stage of Acceptance will make you feel better. Some will move on to other things and the hardcore community will find itself a new goal. Keep on going, Blackcoiners. Look for your goal. It awaits you. LoL Blackcoin is arrogant? I would add that the sellers can can sell all they want. it will just delay the uptrend. last time it took about 2 weeks. now they would be lucky to hold it 48 hours. Resistance should break within 24 hours.
Sellers just sell to willing buyers at this level. the more buys the more stable blackcoin is.

The ease of using BC has been already done (BlackCoin Card). And being able to buy BC and sell BC more easily is being worked on behind the scenes.
I'm a bit confused on how the card works. How do you transfer BC to it? plug it into a computer and go, its just a usb, preloaded with the blockchain. Make sure you make a backup of your wallet.dat as always. |

The only thing that will get friends and family into this is making it simple. Right now cryptos biggest issue, is it takes a tech nerd just to understand it. The platform on which you can buy/sell and spend BC needs to be revolutionized. When I tell my customers about BC they look at me like im trying to sell them swamp land. Hate to sound like a jerk but the average consumer needs push button simplistic ways of doing stuff. This means a direct method to buy BC cash to BC, as well as wide company adoption, and biggest of all crypto education to ease peoples worries, and lack of understanding. Yeah but all it would take is a huge celeb to talk about Blackcoin to make massloads of players come out of the woodwork. That's how it works. Most products/brands/companies/etc that get celeb endorsement end up turning into something significantly huge. Celeb endorsement is big business and common practice.
Right, so far i have introduced 10 complete crypto noobs into crypto and now they love every second of it. THIS IS THE CRYPTO REVOLUTION. Celebs are not the answer, they target the WRONG audience and sends the wrong message. The people we should be wanting to adopt crypto are the majority of people that don't give a shit what celebs say. Crypto is a Peer to peer currency, that means you talk to people face to face. People were sitting on large sums. Those that got in at 500 sat where x190 in profit at one point.
So a $250 investment became $48000, and just upscale for people who invested 1 BTC or more.
People like profits, and they took them en masse, in a panic fashion. But with the new floor above 30k, just WOW! at this new platform to move from!
Any 500 sat (or low sat holders) that remain have already proven themselves "investors" and are likely to hold way beyond previous highs.
It's for this reason I knew we wouldn't dip below 10k. It took so long to build up support and eventually break through that barrier (we rose and fell from the 9k's 3 or 4 times), that by the time we broke through it there were no more profit takers left who were willing to sell for less. Barring a distaster I predict the new floor will be 50k within a week. And that could be conservative. +1 This is exactly the same situation at 10k. Once we break through 40k I think the new floor will be around 50k - 60k. We will meet resistance from 70k all the way up to 220000k. We will ping-pong around for a few weeks and there will be sell offs along the way. But once we have our major event at the end of May the dam will break again and from that point there will be no stopping BC. Everyone who thinks blackcoin is just another alt has already been proven wrong several times. There are several investor groups that are working to increase blackcoin adoption for months and years to come. This isn't an overnight thing. Do not underestimate this coin. |
