1361  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: January 18, 2017, 10:19:34 PM

Many ways to earn free bitcoin with some efforts y', I just know about all of these sites and all this time only with bitcointalk.
So far, I'm earn from sig-camp and gambling which could give decent amount, but it's really nice to look at others offer.
But, I don't think that you should spend bitcoin first to get bitcoin, it seems not right for me if talking about free bitcoin.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: January 18, 2017, 03:11:36 AM
I've lost over 10BTC in the past three months, and let me tell you. Stopping isn't as easy as you might think. I don't know why I keep doing it but I do. And the result is always the same.
Net Profit: - 5.500BTC
Sometimes I play Black Jack, sometimes I play Dice. Most of the time it's dice, and that's basically where I lose all my money. Nothing ever works. Martingale: Nope. Reverse Martingale: Nope. All in 80-90%: Nope. Spamming 97% win chance: Nope. I wish I could stop lol

This is what Op mentioned, you are ready to lose your money.
So much loss, -BTC5.500. Why don't you stop play dice game and trying sports betting as we know it has better chance.
Actually, I don't trust any dice game due to percentage of lose is too big and never know how much people really win there
You may win today, but it will gone in the next day and keep losing your capital.
1363  Economy / Economics / Re: $1100 to $750 is significant on: January 17, 2017, 11:56:47 PM
In a price range such as this I was curious how most of you hold/trade your asset. Such as just hold and never sell, position trade based on price and or swap currencies through an exchange for another and or cash out.

There is no way i am selling at this price or even at $1100,  Bitcoin is worth far more, and i believe in 10 years we will look back at these prices and wish we had bought more.  I will either be a rich man or bitcoin is bust in 10 years  Grin

You're right about it, bitcoin is worth more than $750 or $1100 as time goes on it keep increasing.
Buy and saving huge amount on cold storage and never look back until 10 years later and then boom.
Bitcoin won't ever vanish instead of always developing, we have big team of developers, miners and users here to support bitcoin.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: January 17, 2017, 11:17:24 PM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?

That is absolutely insane, using others money on a way that the chance of winning or have a profit is just small is just a move by a irresponsible person. Gambling can't solve any problem about personal life, I will be shocked if some user will confess about this, i saw many newbie account on the lending section that want to loan for gambling matters. maybe you should ask them. Cheesy

Indeed, gambling and problems are two related things if get involved.
Especially lend to others to pay debts, moreover the way through gambling. It's like impossible to do even if you're a good gambler.
Who want to risky their money to lose it, better to lend and pay your debts without gamble.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly can you buy with Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2017, 11:56:49 PM
Right it is one one the greatest, fastest, secured and highly valued cryptocurrencies ever, but aside from making a profit by depositing it, can it be used to buy stuff you need? What kind of places accept BTC as payment? Does it mean if you've got bitcoins in your wallet you can survive without fiat in your pocket?

where are you from ? as theres a diff from uk  and america etc

i spend my bitcoins on servers mainly  and vape gear and some pc hardware hers the sites i use at the mo "if your from the uk "

https://www.fasttech.com/   - everything

https://www.scan.co.uk/    - pc hardware etc love this site !!

heres a good site witch shows where what online vendors accept bitcoin in the "uk"

http://www.wheretospendbitcoins.co.uk/

How to spend bitcoin depend on where you live of course.
However, in my city there is no any merchant that accept bitcoin.
I could buy some stuff through online stores, such as electronic, clothes or mobile phone.
But none of those stores are near from here.
1366  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have not invested in Bitcoin when it was 200 US dollars on: January 14, 2017, 08:40:32 PM
When I came to know about Bitcoin and other crypto currencies, the Bitcoin was 500 US dollars and slowly it fell to 200 US dollars. At that time I could not invest any thing in Bitcoins so I missed the chance now it crossed 1000 US dollars may be it can reach its peak of 1300 US dollars like in 2013 or may raise more than 1300 also. Once again it come down I wish to invest this time, I do not wish to loose the chance.

so do you want an advice or what ?? when bitcoin was 200 many holders were scared but the true believers picked more bitcoins
in general now is also considered a great time to buy , and it's never too late to buy bitcoins as long as you truly believe in it cause the trend should be up and up in the long run

I agree with that as bitcoin created always goes up over time and it's mean never too late to purchase some bitcoin if you a believer of bitcoin in the future. If someday bitcoin reach $3000, people will regret to not invested when it was $800.
So, take your chance and have faith in bitcoin, once again be patient is indispensable.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: January 13, 2017, 04:50:57 AM
Hi guys i just want to share my experience in gambling which is i am still playing since january but never made any profit with this game.. any other tricks settings and methods are already tried but still now never made any profits..
What you can suggest to me i will still continue to gamble in dice game with other methods or just stop gamble..Huh

Dice game is purely depends on luck and I've never make profits through this kind of game too.
Losing money again and I had decided not to play it anymore. I think better to avoid this game.
Skill-based gambling are the most favorite and worth to continue for gambler such as card basis games and sportsbook.
1368  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: January 13, 2017, 01:48:59 AM
For speculation? To buy on the dark web? To buy online on sites like purse.io? To send money? To do business? To have your money under your control?
What is/are your purposes when yu buy bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a good commodity as store of value. I buy bitcoin for saving it due to long term investment.
I like the idea of avoid inflation which the value keep growing over time, as I don't believe on fiat money to save my wealth.
Divide your wealth is a great planning just in case something bad happen in the future.
1369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: January 12, 2017, 05:53:22 PM
I think Friedrich Nietzsche said it best — 'And those who were seen dancing were thought to be  insane by those who could not hear the

music.'

We are dancing on the music of a ground breaking technology, also called : The Internet of Money and the rest of the Fiat slaves are not

hearing the music. Can we blame them for not dancing?

We should make them hear the music, and the only way to do this, will be to increase the volume. The volume on the exchanges and the

volume of merchants and the volume of Bitcoin ATM's and the volume of information on public social media.

-= Increase the volume, so that we can all dance together =-

Definitely love it, increase the volume.
Not an easy task to get done and we need years to do that.
Exchanges volume, merchants and bitcoin atm are in progress and we have community to make it.
I've been planned to open up a merchant that accept bitcoin to help increase the music volume.
But, people believe what they want to and some consider it's a risky way to buy a volatile internet currency.
We need to deal with it, because manipulation is real.
1370  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 12, 2017, 10:42:16 AM
Is it possible to do money laundering via bitcoin? I mean as no one knows if you have bitcoin and how much bitcoin do you actually own, it could be used to convert black money to white right? Or at least store your black money without much hassle. But there is the risk of its value but I think for people who have lots of black money and don't want to be caught, this risk might be worth taking for them isn't it?
What are your thoughts?

Yes, bitcoin is perfect to store black money and withdraw in few months or years which will give more benefit.
So that there are regulations about money laundering regards to bitcoin users such as occurred in some countries, recently on US and Europe.
Actually in some exchanges has rules about buy or sell bitcoin into fiat which limited to some amount everyday.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use Cashback or bonuses? on: January 10, 2017, 08:05:03 AM
Hi guys!
Nearly every online bitcoin casino offers many many bonuses such as free spins, deposit bonuses etc. Many casinos (for example Oshi) offer you a choice whether you want to use bonuses or get cashback from your losses. My question is which of those option do you prefer and benefit from? Why?
Let us all know Smiley

Yes, I did. Bonuses and cashback are the other way to make profits when I gamble.
Those bonuses help to minimize my loss too, if anything free offer in gambling sites, it worth to try.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: January 09, 2017, 07:27:41 PM
No one could turn gambling into a profitable activity if he don't know how to gambling, just depends on luck? And you will lose all of yours.
Some gamblers has been developed strategies to get profits, how lucky we are if they want to share.
I bet we had seen about this before which some guy told how to but not everyone could do the same thing.
Advice : if you don't know how to, better to stay away.
1373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop giving your cheap btc to whales thanks to Wyckoff ! on: January 08, 2017, 05:42:04 PM
Nice opening and clear explanation about the price manipulation by Composite Man that cleverly play on trading market.
Panic sell is the worst condition from people who do not know about this, sell out bitcoin just give them more advantages.
Again, who had big cash could manipulate the market, appreciate the explanation and hopefully more users understand it.
1374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many % fee do you pay to convert to fiat? on: January 08, 2017, 03:47:26 AM
How much does it cost for you guys to convert to fiat, and is the converting process convenient for you?

I'm new to mining and over the past 3 months and mined about $500 of various cryptos. They are converted to btc on Poloniex, moved to Gemini, then converted to USD and withdrawn to my bank.
My bank fees are about 8% unfortunately. I'm in Hong Kong and have no easy access to US banks or btc to Amazon gift card services. Any tips on lowering these fees?

I'm convert at local exchange and consider as my friend (friends of my friend Grin).
He give me good price and decent fee just like 0.04% for every transaction as I convert in small amount such as BTC0.05-0.1
Faster and trusted exchange I think, just sometimes he's busy and I have to be patient waiting for transaction.
I suggest to looking for local exchange in Facebook or bitcoin community in HongKong, There must be some of them offered convert services.

1376  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: January 07, 2017, 04:00:58 PM
Yes, got you intrigued, didn't it?

Bitcoin is a very good thing to have as an asset. Just like gold. Even better if I may say. It's secure, and unlike fiat money it actually exists and work is put into it to produce it. This makes it great to store value.
However, it cannot and will not replace current fiat money that the entire world it using. It just cannot.
Take paying a cup of coffee for example. To pay your coffee with bitcoins, one must get bitcoins first, either by mining or buying bitcoins with other kinds of money (*cough*fiat*cough). It ends up being a quite complicated process, don't you think?
Until we reach the point where paying for a cup of coffee is as easy with Bitcoin as it is with cash, we will never get mass adoption. And as far as I see it, there is no way of simplifying the acquiring of bitcoins.

There are plenty of coffee shops that accepted bitcoin as far as I kno, even restaurants and Starbucks too.
I agree that bitcoin can't replace fiat due to a Nation won't allow it happen and people still bound with fiat.
For example, every increases of bitcoin, massive transaction convert bitcoin into fiat occurred like what just happened in the last few days. People still buy and sell bitcoin with fiat money right.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin price and gambling on: January 06, 2017, 06:34:30 PM
The only effect i think is going to be on profit that gambling site will be making because as we all know house always win in end and if total profit any casino is making remain same in terms of bitcoin (which used to remain same despite of price change), casino will be making more profit in terms of fiat.

Oh, you've a point. gambling sites get profits in bitcoin but actually gambler reduce their capital for gambling due to bitcoin price increase or vice versa, cause less of profits of btc for the site but if convert into fiat and it should be stable profits for the house right.
1378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic selling started ! on: January 05, 2017, 05:01:17 PM
You can't blame those who are panicking in selling their coins, we have our own thoughts, that telling maybe sooner price will dump to 700 or maybe to 500 so others are selling and there are some thoughts that this is just temporary and will stay at 900 to 1000. So we can't do about that. But I'm in holder team, I will not sell, and never do it ever.
I'm on your side man, not waste any coin in panic selling.
The temptation to sell in higher price and some big traders sell out to get profits had triggered this situation.
But, there is no point to involve in such panics if we're believe in bitcoin bright future. The dip is a sign to buy more cheaper bitcoin before the train left the station again.
1379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the last 24 hours on: January 05, 2017, 08:34:35 AM
I was never more optimistic about the future of bitcoin more then now personally. I do know that there still some issues that needs solutions but I guess we will eventually get there. Your thoughts ?

Old Stock Market story ,

Stock investor took a ride in a taxi,  the taxi driver began telling the investor about all of these great stock tips and that he was making a killing in the markets.

The Stock investor , immediately went to his office and Sold all of his Stocks, the date Oct 10th, 1929 .
When the Crash hit, he stayed wealthy.

Quote
The Wall Street Crash of 1929, also known as Black Tuesday (October 29), the Great Crash, or the Stock Market Crash of 1929, began on October 24, 1929 ("Black Thursday"), and was the most devastating stock market crash in the history of the United States.

Moral of the story, When Everyone Starts Telling you how Great Something Is.

Get your Ass out of it as quickly as possible, because the Crash is Coming.  Tongue

Use your own judgement.  Smiley

 Cool

Everyone has judgment about bitcoin, why the price still increasing? It's different story with stock investor.
Bitcoin has proven going through all the problems and obstacles behind and here it is.
Advantages offered by bitcoin suitable for everyone due to there is no any financial platform can compete with bitcoin.
That's why the bull run won't stop and get bigger as time goes on, it's just 5th day of January man, easy.
1380  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has gone beyond gold prices on: January 05, 2017, 06:05:13 AM
Bitcoin has now exceeded the gold price, is the choice of bitcoin or gold?

until now, i will choose bitcoin than gold because bitcoin is easy to earn than gold. for bitcoin, if we want to earn bitcoin, we can do by free by playing faucet but for gold, we need to buy it. so bitcoin is cheap and almost without spend any money to earn. so this is the chance for peoples in out there to collect bitcoin.

Indeed, access to get bitcoin is easier nowadays and seems faster/instantly transaction.
Imagine you have $1500 and want to buy gold, how much time and effort to get it? Compare to bitcoin than.
Both of it has high value to store our wealth of course but bitcoin is being trend for now which could double your money in few months
