521  Economy / Speculation / Re: Financial collapse means Bitcoin boom? on: September 30, 2017, 02:51:23 AM
Financial collapse mean a government can not run the country, only 2 reasons; corruptions and huge debts to central bank.
At least, a country without debts can not bankrupt and that's why citizens should choose the right person to run the government.
Bitcoin will be one of many precious assets during economy crisis in a country, but doesn't mean bitcoin boom I guess, unless one or two big countries going collapse. If somehow most countries facing economics crisis, many people will cash out bitcoin, which mean the price will constantly decline.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who will Represent Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2017, 11:39:44 PM
Who will take the initiative to become the voice and take on the role of being the chosen representative of BTC?
The role of a chosen Messiah or Savior to help steer the road to a Crypto Future

Bitcoin don't need a representative, it is a decentralized currency not controlled by anyone, and that's one of its best features.

Bitcoin's community is in fact its real representative.

Mostly by Core developers who represent bitcoin, but in general every user has the right to do so, as bitcoin is open source and connected to everyone in blockchain network. There's no role for Messiah in bitcoin, unless Satoshi come back in this forum.
But, no one can ensure to help steer the road for crypto future due to Government could do anything to regulate cryptocurrencies, whether to support or ban it.
523  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Japanese exchanges have begun to receive formal licences from their regulator on: September 29, 2017, 11:24:47 PM
Looks like this license battle has been going on for a long time now, great to see that this is now closed and a new foundation has been laid....hope to see more countries with strict regulations follow suit to contribute positively towards this technology of tomorrow. But some of the responsibilities that exchangers will have to follow will be a guaranteed daunting task like producing suspicious activity statements....good luck to them

After China ban most exchanges, Japan has issued their licence for exchanges to ensure the security and encourage people to do not hesitate trade cryptocurrencies through licensed exchanges. China will do the same I guess, due to their last statement about cracked down exchanges and still let 2 exchanges to operate. Most countries does not have strict regulations about bitcoin and exchanges, but soon or later when bitcoin trading volume reach certain point, they will triggered to regulate exchanges as well.
524  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-29] Japan is fast becoming the powerhouse of the bitcoin market on: September 29, 2017, 10:24:42 PM
It's funny when stated Japan and its currency become the most traded currency with bitcoin.
But Korean exchanges such as Bithumb and Coinone have bigger trading volume compare to Japan exchange such as Bitflyer.
But, we do agree about Japan as the powerhouse of bitcoin market, bitcoin as legal payment, registered cryptocurrency exchange and many business and companies that accept bitcoin payment.
525  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crex24.com - Cryptocurrency Exchange [Official Thread] on: September 29, 2017, 09:29:06 PM
There are a lot of new exchanges popping out recently and I can't remember all of them, decentralized exchanges and so on.
But, the one with massive advertise will be more trusted I guess. It's always be an obstacle for a new exchange to gain trust, especially for exchange based in Russia, or without support from trusted member in this forum. You know what to do, and until all the doubts are clear, such as more reviews from users, it will be helpful for your exchange to get more customers.
526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC become a PUMP after 30/9???? on: September 29, 2017, 07:34:05 AM
The price has been raising uncontrollably since last week !!!
However , Chinese will public their decision of Cryptocurrency on 30/9

What kind of decision will be published on 30/9? I thought they have announced all the decisions about bitcoin and exchanges.
Most exchanges already closed or will be closed on September 30th, but the last two biggest exchanges, OKCoin and Huobi will be halt trading activity by the end of October. Unless China will ban bitcoin and the mining as well which still FUD.
Nothing for sure about the future, but I prefer bitcoin price will rise on October until another hard fork implementation.
527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best exchange to sell 10 BTC on: September 29, 2017, 06:37:02 AM
I think it will always depends on which country do you live, local exchange that support some local banks in you country will be good.
For Kraken; Fees vary depending on the volume - for main trading pairs this is between 0.1-0.35% - however for other less common crypto pairs the range can be as low as 0.05% or as high as 0.75%. There are also 0% fees for traders offering liquidity. Withdrawals and deposits are variable depending on the method - although in general all fees are 0.19% with a $20 minimum.
However, from some reviews, it seems that bitstamp is a better exchange than Kraken. https://coinpedia.org/exchange/bitstamp/
528  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New app - Shop with Bitcoin on: September 28, 2017, 04:55:19 PM
I developed a new app called NoFiat (https://no-fiat.com). It allows users to choose their cryptocurrency and browse stores that accept this currency. It also allows users to compare exchanges buy & sell prices in real time.

The app is free and has no ads or donation option.

Play store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.cordova.myappd3e790
App store link: Still being verified by Apple

I'm looking for new ideas and features, do you guys have any thoughts of what to put in there?

This has too small of a target market and there is no need for it. The information is available too easy form other places and there is no need to go to yet another app or site and involve it in the mix. This may have been useful in the past, two years back, but now it is redundant and not needed at all.

Please, do not be rude and appreciate his effort.
Actually, it is a good idea to check on an app instead of check few times through Google to find one.
Even though it may not so accurate due to one of another site could stop their service at any time, which mean Op have to check every site regularly every 2 weeks or once in a month.
529  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-27] Back Above $4,000: Bitcoin Eyes Next Major Price Hurdle on: September 27, 2017, 03:05:25 PM
Bitcoin may recover to its normal growth or just another bull trap before another storm coming.
One thing for sure is bitcoin price extremely volatile and the market still immature, nothing for sure in this market.
Bitcoin need more usability, or people should not treat it as the way to invest and cash out whenever it reach higher peak.
Or, bitcoin will always on the edge and facing 'price crash' if bad news occurs due to people panic if the price fall down.
Whether bitcoin cash or another hard fork for bitcoin gold will be a good profit for everyone, free money mean; it will get dump as soon as it reach a certain price.
530  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what is fee for good signature camping manger on: September 27, 2017, 12:07:16 PM
Only 2 reasons why you want to know about that.
Yes, it will be different for experienced and trusted one compare to new manager.
But basically, manager paid based on their work, do it right, properly and conscientiously, then all will be fine.
A manager could set minimum amount like 0.03-0.05 for small-mid size campaigns, and 10%-15% for large campaigns.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So when do you "actually" plan to cash in your bitcoin? > or <$1,000,000 on: September 27, 2017, 10:31:54 AM
Yes, we all want bitcoin to hit the $1 million mark, but do you plan to sell before then or even if it hits $1,000,000 would you really sell then? So the question is, have you thought about when you plan to cash in or don't you plan to cash out?

No one will sell BTC1 if it reach $1 Million, who have so much money to buy it? Maybe some companies, but it will worthless to spend so much money in one shot into bitcoin. People will sell small fraction of bitcoin, BTC0.0000xxxx and so on, average trading amount within $50-$100K. The question is; who can hold bitcoin more than 10-20 years? People tend to sell bitcoin whenever it reaches higher peaks and buy back in the dips.

534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin a road to 10k. on: September 26, 2017, 05:37:32 PM
Since bitcoin price could manipulated by big whales in the market whenever bad news occurs, it may take a little longer to reach $10K than what we have predicted. But, consider uncertain things could happens at anytime, especially bitcoin acceptance and development in a country could attract huge influx of money, invested into bitcoin,. which mean there's no way to say the exact time to reach $10K.
Current situation make bitcoin barely can not recover to $5000 in this month or next month, but hopefully could be achieved by the end of the year. If bitcoin development could going smoothly without any other ban from a big Country, I guess bitcoin could reach$10K in the next year.
535  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTC buy&sell - best rates from HiRiBi.com on: September 26, 2017, 04:26:15 PM
Your service maybe work for everyone who wants to buy bitcoin and vice versa, and it seems has been running for months since the first time you've promoted hiribi site. I will note it, as a site to transact bitcoin and Paypal, maybe useful someday.
What is it, HiRiBi is an abbreviation of? How much people in Charge for your service? I mean, the owners, founder, whoever in charge, if you don't mind to answer it.
There's no way to check the exchange rate without submit an email address? And we should pay 1% fees for every transaction (buy and sell) bitcoin?
536  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Japan’s Regulators Are Putting Bitcoin Exchanges Under Heavy Surveillance on: September 25, 2017, 04:25:18 PM
There will be always another way to transact bitcoin without third party, exchanges just make sure you're not a scammer or get scammed by another. Regulators could easily trace every bitcoin transaction which linked to exchanges, unless you want more privacy. Japan government just make sure there's no fraudulent activity occurs in exchanges that cause citizens feels being protected by government which will attract more adopters to join into bitcoin environment. There's nothing to hide when you are doing just fine.
537  Economy / Economics / Re: £500 to spend, on Ether or Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2017, 03:07:15 PM
For long term; I will recommend Bitcoin
For short term; go for ethereum.
Bitcoin could reach higher price than ethereum, even though ethereum could gain more value in % since its price is cheaper but will get dumped so often everytime eth reach certain point, that's why ethereum is a good option for short term investment.
As you've planned to put £100 per month, it will be great to purchase bitcoin to add into your wallet and wait for next year to see how much its growing.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin november hard fork? on: September 25, 2017, 12:13:14 PM
yep

the devs of core have already ruled out making core compatible and done everything they can to force it to be an altcoin.

this is why blockstream employees can no longer deny that they control bitcoin
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/11128

sipa closed it the same day it was opened, giving no chance for the community to review, interrogate, consider or choose

real funny part
https://bitcoincore.org/en/2017/08/18/btc1-misleading-statements/
they pretend upgrades should only happen with community support yet do everything to avoid community involvement/choice

Only one bitcoin and others just altcoins, it seems anything which not in line with core developers can't be implemented into bitcoin nodes, that's why scale solution implementation could take years to be activated, there are a lot of drama between core and miners to achieve an aggrement. However, if segwit makes bitcoin fees and confirmation time could be verified within 10 minutes or less than that, it would be nice, for now.
539  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Wally - The HODL Wallet on: September 23, 2017, 11:59:30 PM
People will thought it's a wallet to store their coins, you should change the tittle to; coin tracker or coin portfolio to check the value of your coins, to check your crypto asset. It's not a wallet since there's no any coins store in wally, right? Or I misunderstand about it?
540  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-22] Stealing Bitcoin with a Name and a Phone Number on: September 23, 2017, 11:35:22 PM
An old trick I think, name and phone number will works if people store bitcoin in an exchange, which the lesson is; keep your bitcoin offline and just save small portion in web wallet, in case you want to spend or convert it. Hackers can't easily to get your password, moreover trying to steal bitcoin in offline wallet. So, stay calm and do not be an open book, if you want to provide a phone number for exchange, make sure to use a private number which use only for 2fa, or better to use Google Authenticator.
