1101  Economy / Gambling / Re: IMPORTANT ★ Your password may have been stolen!!! on: May 06, 2017, 01:26:18 PM
since i was one more way hacked by Robertt here, i have decided to change the password to a very long one, and in which the combination is far harder than cracking the bitcoin private key. with this measure, i recently changed most of my important accounts' passwords.
Yeah, everyone should be careful, better to change your password periodically and use long combination password.
We know this is big problem from a gambling site and they need to upgrade their security systems, but how could the thief try to login into another site, hope get some dumb people who use same account name and password in every site. We've learned the lesson here, thanks for safedice for sharing information Smiley
1102  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Social network, blockchain and new crypto currency on: May 06, 2017, 09:26:13 AM
Similar projects already exist. Therefore, you should think about what your new crypto currency and blockchain social network will be better than steemit/golos which working more than one year.
Yes it is, but there are a lot of things that can make difference from others.
I'm not code/algorithm person, but I think this is a good idea, it is social network such as facebook or Instagram? maybe need some features such as :
People could send cryptocurrency through your platform for reward or gift.
Live streaming to show off, where a person show his skill or teach something.
1103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: May 06, 2017, 07:57:55 AM
What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?
Whenever it reach highest price or if I need some cash to cover my expenses.
But, mostly I just let my bitcoin, saving it until the day I really need very much money.
If bitcoin could reach $5000, why sell at lower price? I would be happy waiting for that time as it will be happen obviously.
1104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen with Bitcoin if it never scales? on: May 06, 2017, 07:29:12 AM
What do you think that might happen with Bitcoin if no scalable solution becomes accepted?

Will it remain as a store of value, while other altcoins take the lead for everyday transactions? Or will another cryptocurrency take its place as the top in marketcap?

I would like to know your thoughts about this, as the ongoing scaling debate will further limit Bitcoin from reaching new heights. As for me, I believe that the Bitcoin community would come up at a resolution somehow to put an end to this issue, and make the pioneer cryptocurrency great again. What do you think?  Smiley
Bitcoin cannot reach what it meant to be, I think it could reach at least $10,000-$20,000 per bitcoin while others expected bitcoin could achieve $1 Million, we hope so. People may invest on another coin which has good devs team and easier to handle by layman such as some coins here which has potential to reach that point. But, we don't know what will happen with bitcoin whether it can or stuck in this condition.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YES YOU CAN get $100 000 dollars !!just for saying hello on a thread here on bct on: May 06, 2017, 05:21:14 AM
I had 2 stakes through this forum but lost the private key for one of them.. I had the wallet password and have the address of the coins so I can look at my second stake,  but lost the wallet file in a computer format and didn't backup my private key.  If microsoft had not released windows 10 I'd have a second stake. I do still have my one stake and haven't sold any yet.. amazing yes it's worth $100K. If I didn't think the coin had as much or more potential than Ethereum I'd sell now.. I said I'd sell when it hit a nickel. Will probably regret not selling.. but as long as this crypto bubble continues NEM should hold up as well as any other top 10 coin.. I'm gambling it will hit number 4 market cap and be somewhere around 800 million to a billion market cap within a month or two.

Wait until kraken and other exchanges start to cover NEM and we'll see if we get more volume and interest.
Really interested to read how nem coin developing until today, looks like the devs team did it so well and crypto market already recognize its advantages. Significant increases of nem within months, but I feel sorry that you lost one of your private key, $100K is a big deal obviously.
1106  Economy / Economics / Re: how i start a bussines with BTC on: May 06, 2017, 12:00:59 AM
Hi guys Smiley i want to ask you and if you have personal experiences on how i can start a bussines using BTC?
First of all, please do state what is your interest or ideas on your mind now? So that community would able to give you comments about on your idea.When you do plan to make business on bitcoin world then mostly as far as i saw, online goods are always on the line because they are fast moving and there are lots of potential buyers here on this forum but if you do think about personal goods like gadgets,cloths,etc. then it might do but sale would depend on interest of people.
Indeed, and you need to mentioned how much money you have to build a business. Bitcoin business mostly occurred in online environment because it is easier to do and people connecting through the network. Many people start from collecting/buy bitcoin as much as they could and then make a local exchange where it is easier if you have huge capital obviously.
1107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction - $1500 in 30 days - What do you think? on: May 05, 2017, 11:53:40 PM
The prices currently are doing too good; it is making hope for those who have expectations from the BTC. The prices will continue to rise with a least chance of coming down in the end of May. The BTC have the potential to grow more in the current month and even afterwards and I guess before end of this month we may have $2000 levels tested. The people who are holding the BTC are the lucky ones  Cheesy
We will see how far bitcoin could reach before correction happen, after 15th May when ETF review by SEC done and another rejection as the result may cause panic sell and bitcoin price fall down below $1200 again but how if ETF get approval? $2000 will be achieved within this month I think.
1108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: May 05, 2017, 11:48:43 PM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

Loss is a part in trading obviously, it is a game where some people get profits while others get loss based on the right time to buy and sell. So, I take it easy and learn from the past, admit my mistake and intend to get profits next time, at least you get experience and strategy to avoid big loss.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: May 05, 2017, 11:38:13 PM
I just wanna know if you guys are supertitious when playing or gambling?

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino. Grin
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

And a lot more..

How about you? are you sepertitious?  Smiley
No I don't, it's just a feeling to get better right. Nothing related to win in gambling, even though we need luck to make profit in this environment. As you said, it may  caused played at land base casino but some people admit do it at online casinos too. Depends on how superstitious influence people to feel better and win in the game, so it's reasonable for those who believe.
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transactions now take ages to confirm? on: May 05, 2017, 11:28:26 PM
I've been using Bitcoin before it was cool

I don't ever remember a transaction taking so long. It has been 3+ hours, my VPN subscription payment is long overdue. Is anybody else having this issue?

If you're going to moan about how I should pay more fees, then please don't waste your time by posting
Well, I ever wait for more than 12 hours to get a single small transaction (0.05BTC) to be confirmed when bitcoin reach ATH at $1300 few months ago. It's normal since we don't have bigger block size which simply cannot afford so much transaction within seconds and now unconfirmed transaction just reach 142K, so, you're among those people who waiting.
1111  Economy / Speculation / Re: [UPDATE] $1,400 HIT (Next goal is $1,500) on: May 05, 2017, 11:16:42 PM
Bitcoin price increase so fast these days due to ETF speculation and bitcoin being regulated I think.
I remember it has reach $1550 yesterday and slowly dropped back after that, so Op need to update his thread goal to $1600.
But, it will be reach that price in this week I guess as significant increases happen daily due to huge cash flow into bitcoin every day.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10000 PIVX STOLEN on: May 05, 2017, 06:13:48 PM
Hey bub, you fucked up large.

Here is where..

mickeyspit [7:40 PM]

{
    "masternode" : {
        "alias" : "masternode1",
        "address" : "45.76.116.209:51472",
        "privateKey" : "88D4bbFt9NgZ1WLHkJPdMicVfDpy9cVbudo8Q8yboLmYgyahaKp",

        "outputIndex" : "1",
        "status" : "ENABLED"
    }
}

Why would you post your private key anywhere? I thought you said you know what your doing.

If I seen this I would have told you to transfer your funds to a new address immediately. Instead you were on a slack with a bunch of scammers. They should have pointed this out for you. But instead they all likely tried to steal your funds, first one got it..

This is how:

Open PivX wallet with synced blockchain then type importprivkey 88D4bbFt9NgZ1WLHkJPdMicVfDpy9cVbudo8Q8yboLmYgyahaKp and I have access to all of your funds. Transfer to a new account.. That's how this was done.

Sorry its gone, you'll never get it back or know who did this.

Looks like the thief got enough money from those hack things, he is better than Op.
But, if that's true that Op has posted his crucial part of wallet, than it's even worse than just get hacked.
PivX coin price should be drop a bit due to this 'serial killer' (hacker) activities.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 04, 2017, 11:59:06 PM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
If you mean that an altcoin will exceed bitcoin price and market cap, maybe yes.
Doesn't mean bitcoin is bad and will be banished, abandoned by people. Bitcoin will last forever as it is a great cryptocurrency from the beginning of its creation and still on developing. But, if another coin offer better technology, faster, low fee, anonymous, stability in growth, it may has chance.
1114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can reach 3000 USD in a year ? on: May 04, 2017, 11:53:06 PM
Bitcoin can reach 3000 USD in a year ?
It can't be in this year, bitcoin price has increase rapidly within this week due to speculation of ETF.
I believe that bitcoin will be corrected after 15th May if SEC decision is another rejection.
However, there's nothing we can say it for sure as we can't predict what will happen in the future.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TOKENCARD on: May 04, 2017, 04:55:15 PM
hey will TOKEN get listed on polo  Grin Grin Grin

I hope it get listed in Polo, but I don't think at this point anyone from core team can give any guarantee. Polo is 100% Independent exchange, and that will never exchange tokens randomly. no matter if you offer them lots of money. polo adopt quality altcoins.
We will see it later as this project still on crowdsale but has so much attention from traders and investors, really interesting.
Devs team are trusted person which have experiences in their fields and they're hard workers. every bug expected to be resolved and join the slack channel for more information.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: something we can all be happy about on: May 04, 2017, 04:23:20 PM
All of those funds flow into cryptocurrency which indicates people trust it more than before, more money, more adopters as this world growing bigger, unlike the usual trading day when some coins rise and others fall.
But, unfortunately Op didn't screenshot another one,  but sort from the highest price and we will see the highest rate from bitcoin and so on, yeah take a look for a while.
1117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Focus on the trading process not the money on: May 04, 2017, 12:35:02 PM
Newbie traders always looking for more profit, focus on how to get at least their capital return.
But, Op has mentioned how trading could consider as mind-game playing probabilities, strategy and risk management.
But, strategy for newbies seems like a false promise without any explanation and evidence. However, experiences will teach you how to make profit from doing trading, it's a game of loss and profit at the right time.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: May 03, 2017, 05:45:47 AM
Bitcoin price has outperformed every reserve and fiat currency across the world year to date, yet again. By outperforming the US dollar by over 30 percent, Bitcoin surpassed the growth of the Mexican Peso, Silver, Gold and Russian Ruble to become the best performing currency so far in 2017.

Thus far, 2017 has been a successful year for both Bitcoin investors and alternative cryptocurrency (altcoin) traders, with leading altcoins or crypto assets such as Ethereum achieving a $5 bln market cap in early April. The Bitcoin market, however, experienced some major changes in its ecosystem earlier this year. The major driving force of Bitcoin price in 2017 is suspected to be the resolution of the Bitcoin network’s current scalability problems.

The Bitcoin network’s one MB cap on block size is causing Blockchain congestion, a drastic increase in fees at times and long confirmation times. If Bitcoin scalability issues are addressed within this year, with innovative solutions such as Bitcoin Core’s Segregated Witness (SegWit), Andrew Lee’s Extension Blocks or other potential emerging solutions, Bitcoin price will most likely demonstrate an exponential mid and long-term increase.

Would you invest in BTC this year?

I think it's too late to invest in bitcoin. Since the price of one coin is too high and no one knows what will happen tomorrow.
Lol, it's not too late as long as you've planned to hold bitcoin for long term, if current price at $1460, then in the next year it could be $2400 and 5 years later bitcoin price could reach $5000. At that time, you may say ; I think it's too late, I hope I have invested in bitcoin 5 years ago when its price around $1400.
1119  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobody Can Have Benefit From a Big Pump on: May 02, 2017, 11:59:45 PM
If Bitcoin price pumps from $1300 to $3000 in few hours, nobody would make profit from it, because the exchanges wouldn't allow you to sell your Bitcoins and make the fast profit, it would bring a big loss for exchange sites.

Do you agree with this?
Some people will make profits I think, as long as they cash out in small amount and I don't think there is such rule that doesn't allow customers to withdraw what they have in exchanges. An exchange should have much money just in case something like that happens.
However, I'm not sure if bitcoin price could be pump as much $1700 in few hours, more likely will not happen.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: May 02, 2017, 11:51:00 PM
It seems like Japan as the first country that accepted bitcoin as a legal payment in their monetary system.
Furthermore, they have thousands merchants accepted bitcoin transaction. By this summer, 260,000 stores in Japan will accept bitcoin too.
However, not only japan which has an important role in bitcoin development, there are some other countries such as Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, UK, USA, even though they don't legalized bitcoin yet. And first dedicated bitcoin bank has opened it heVienna, Austria. Which designed to purchase bitcoin easier and safer than other in-person options.
