Why do you persist in calling your actions a "mistake"? When using another author's work, you have a moral and legal duty to attribute it. But you decided that shitposting is more important than either the moral rights of the author you're copying from or international copyright law, and that makes you an evil person. Furthermore, your refusal to accept responsibility for your actions demonstrates that you don't really care about the harm you've caused to the community. You claim to have realised your "mistake", but the truth is you haven't realised anything. You are no longer welcome here, and no longer have any rights here. Go away.

Whichever they prefer. Though I draw the line at inventing new pronouns that are apparently designed solely to cheat at Scrabble.
1383  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Would you accept and Artificial Intelligence as a member of the forum? on: June 21, 2018, 09:04:53 AM
Humanity will become irrelevant once a true AI comes into being...
Not if we merge our consciousness with the machines through the use of invasive cybernetic implants. Think of all the things we'll be able to accomplish once freed from the limitations of our meat-brains! The future is exciting!
1384  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should a person with terminal illness be able to end their own life ? on: June 19, 2018, 05:44:09 AM
Of course. If you have a dying animal, you'd be arrested for animal cruelty if you don't put it out of its misery. Yet for some reason some people insist that humans in that position should be forced to continue suffering. I won't even pretend to understand what goes on in the twisted mind of someone who would wish further suffering on the sick and dying.
1385  Other / Meta / Re: This is why merit sources shouldn't be known publicly. on: June 17, 2018, 11:43:25 AM
The formula to find out a merit source is trivial, just give him/her enough time and will be giving out more merits than he/her could possibly have. There is no way to keep it a secret.
The secrecy of merit sources is assured by merit beggars being too stupid to think of that. Even after you just explained it, they still won't think of it, because most of them can barely understand English.
1386  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why pornography is legal in Japan? on: June 12, 2018, 03:21:55 AM
And we also know that pornography is a thing that is disgusting and bad,
I don't know about that. Speaking as both a consumer and producer of pornography, I think it is beautiful and good. Smiley

in all religions it is forbidden.
Actually, many religions don't have a problem with pornography.

Is it not opposed to local religion?
I know Buddhism doesn't oppose pornography (except for monks who've taken a vow of chastity) and I don't think Shinto does either, but I'm not as familiar with Shinto. In any case, religious dogma should not serve as a basis for government policy.
1387  Other / Meta / Re: Banned - Can a Mod please take a look? on: June 07, 2018, 06:25:25 AM
Of my few Few of my posts i have been respectful and polite,
FTFY. Don't worry, it's a common mistake, but word order is very important in English.

Seriously, can you show even one post you've made that contributes anything of value to discussion on this forum, and isn't just spam to get airdrops?
1388  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcointalk 50 BTC VIP club. Where are they now ? Complete list. on: June 07, 2018, 06:11:38 AM
Funny how many of them turned out to be complete criminals--Mt. Gox, pirateat40, and TradeFortress are the first ones I noticed.
I suspect they figured that VIP membership would make them appear more legitimate, so as to lure in more victims. That's actually why I never bought VIP membership: I don't want any guilt by association. Undecided

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=99297

User Amph with 28,905 posts

For some reason his merit is 1001, but he has no entries in the merit table.
That's because his sole merit was received more than 120 days ago, for this post.
1390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 51% attack on Zencash and Bitcoin Gold, punishing the resistance? on: June 05, 2018, 01:29:08 AM
Shitcoins with low hashrate are easily 51% attacked. So-called "ASIC-resistant" ones doubly so, since "ASIC-resistant" really means "botnet friendly". Don't pretend to be surprised.
1391  Other / Meta / Re: Bunned ihnattm. on: June 04, 2018, 12:03:47 PM
If in your world, questions are solved with money, I am ready to pay a fine to the forum development fund. I will not buy or set up a new account unequivocally. How do you like this punishment for an error?
No, I don't think we like bribes here.
1392  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is the type of alcohol used in Wine the same as the alcohol in the medical world on: June 04, 2018, 04:32:46 AM
No. Wine (and other alcoholic beverages) contain ethanol while medical disinfectants contain propanol. Propanol will make you violently sick if ingested, so don't do that (though there are reports of alcoholics so desperate to get drunk that they do it anyway). The fact that you can't drink propanol without getting sick is why it can be sold without a liquor licence.

Also note that disinfectants have a much higher alcohol content (typically 70-90% ABV) than liquor (typically 40% ABV for spirits, 5-15% ABV for beer and wine). This means that, contrary to what you might see on TV and movies, liquor does not make an effective disinfectant.

Guys, do you want to say that none of you made any mistakes for the thousands of messages that were published?
No, we don't want to say that, but only because it would be stating the obvious, since most people have absolutely no trouble following the rules. But, if you insist, I'll go ahead and say it:

Of all the 3,000+ posts I have made on this forum, not a single one was plagiarised. Nor have I ever been banned, not even briefly, for any reason whatsoever. It's not difficult to follow the rules, and anyone who says it is difficult is a liar.
1394  Other / Meta / Re: Help me! on: May 30, 2018, 03:12:34 AM
I don't spam
Are you delusional, or just thick? Literally every one of your posts without exception is spam. And those are just the ones that haven't already been deleted by the mods. I can't imagine how bad those posts must be. Go away; the forum's better off without you.
1395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: who is bitcoin.com ??????????? on: May 25, 2018, 02:35:07 AM
Let's not forget that Roger Ver is a convicted felon. He was selling explosives on eBay, which wouldn't have been so bad had he not been shipping them via regular post and storing them in his apartment. If he had an accident he would have killed a whole bunch of innocent people, but he doesn't care. Roger Ver doesn't care about anyone but himself.
1396  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The problem with atheism. on: May 23, 2018, 01:54:22 PM
In order of logic, from sane to insane:
Agnosticism: "There might be a moose in these woods."
Theism: "There is a moose in these woods, but I have no evidence."
Atheism: "There can't possibly, under any circumstance or at any point in time, be a moose in these woods, but I have no proof."
That's the second-worst analogy I ever heard, and not just because I happen to live right next to a wood that I can confidently state there is no moose in.
1397  Other / Meta / Re: sMerit level not topping-up after a month or so? on: May 23, 2018, 12:51:33 PM
Merit sources receive spent sMerits back 30 days after spending them. If they don't spend their sMerits, they don't get any more. Use it or lose it.

Users who aren't merit sources can only gain sMerit by having their posts merited; they do not receive a monthly top-up.

Your merit page will tell you if you are a source or not. If it doesn't say "You are a merit source.", you aren't one.
1398  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cocktails - make them at home on: May 23, 2018, 04:10:41 AM
Here's one which will knock your socks off,
I'll bet it does. 1.25 litres (1⅓ quarts for the non-metric people out there) of spirits tends to be a tad more than most people can handle. Perhaps you meant ml instead of cl? (25cl is a metric cup, or roughly 8½ oz.) Wink

great project! Smiley i strongly support this! do it has an open source? what is total coin supply? Huh
1400  Other / Off-topic / Re: Yanny or Laurel? on: May 20, 2018, 12:45:58 AM
It's Yanny in a high-pitched voice and Laurel in a low-pitched voice played simultaneously. Which voice you hear depends on whether you are better at hearing high frequencies or low frequencies.

It's not like the dress at all, which is in fact a black and blue dress that was photographed incompetently. Nobody who has ever seen an overexposed photograph should be confused about it.
