141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Feds transferred BTC from seized Silk road wallet to Coinbase on: April 05, 2024, 02:13:53 AM
We indeed bullish even if this happened, look at the price and volume of Bitcoin, it does not really panic. The pullback recently from $70,000 up to $65,000 is already recovering.

Another thing is I didn't yet heard anything about the feds doing this transaction, is this legal? What could be their plan?
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Now Official Currency in Lugano: Another Milestone for Cryptocurrency on: April 05, 2024, 02:12:03 AM
One at a time. This is what I am expecting, it just takes time. It will be like a virus that will spread.
I really appreciate these kinds of country, where they adapt technology, and this technology especially blockchain and Bitcoin will help their country and the people also.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Savings APR reduction normal? on: April 05, 2024, 02:09:05 AM
So, I checked my Binance app to check my USDT I stored in the Savings to see how far profit I have gotten, I realised that the APR has reduced to 7.5%. I thought maybe is a general issue, then I went to my Bitget to check as I also have some USDT stored in their Flexible savings and realised is still at 15%
It's on their terms and conditions that these rates will be changed anytime, it depends on them.
You can try other exchanges, there are some exchanges that have some tiers, where for example from 0 - 500 USDT, you can earn 15%, but if you surpass on that, it's another tier and the percentage of APR is decrease.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can governments crack down on crypto? on: April 04, 2024, 12:23:25 AM
Considering what happened to binance in Nigeria I think yes government can crackdown on crypto but thou they can not completely stop the technology behind the crypto space but can regulates it in certain areas just like what happened in Nigeria, it doesn't happen in other countries.
There is always going to be an alternative solution towards what ever government of any any region may do as regards to cracking down the crypto space.
The answer here is YES. Governments have the capability to crack down on cryptocurrencies, and there are several methods they can employe to regulate.
Consider that in the world there are a lot of different governments, based on your jurisdiction, these governments have different methods to regulate cryptocurrency.

For me, heavy-handed regulations or bans can push the cryptocurrency market underground, making it even harder for authorities to monitor and regulate.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you considered staking? on: April 04, 2024, 12:20:52 AM
Just out of curiosity,I went to the official website of Ethereum and found that the annual interest rate is only 3.3%.
For some who are curious, OP saw it here: https://ethereum.org/en/staking/
It is now 3.5% and I believe this is dynamically changing, but not that really high volatility changing.

It just nice because while you are earning you are helping the network itself to be secure and decentralized, this is power of proof-of-state.

146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anxiety in trading (heart disease) on: April 03, 2024, 11:54:11 PM
Many traders don’t know the after effects of over thinking worrying fear in their trading situations and decisions making

Click on the link below to see more on the heart disease that affects you because of trading.
Don't trade because of many risk for your health and even cost your life, and risk for your capital.

You will more easily lose your capital by trading than gain profit.

Just don't trade.
You will have more time to hang out, run, swim, whatever physical activities that will be good for your health status.

You will not have to struggle to control your greed, fear and can invest better. Invest, don't trade, to get profit and to get better health.
Lol. Direct answer and solution.

I agree with Catenaccio, if OP has a problem like this and trading cryptocurrency could be the trigger, then what Catenaccio said is the best and direct solution, DONT' TRADE.

But if OP really insists on trading, for sure OP must need to consult a professional health person to solve this problem because for sure I believe there's a way to solve this even if OP does trading.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need some ideas on: April 03, 2024, 11:45:31 PM
For sure OP you already tried activity setting some Bitcoin wallets, how to send Bitcoin, how to set transaction fees (fees/byte)?
Or maybe try also the calculation of fees or size of the transactions, sending batch transaction (where you can send to multiple addresses using one transaction).
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to kucoin? on: April 03, 2024, 02:36:55 AM
Sad for Kucoin. Kucoin is one of the OGs in cryptocurrency exchange, now they are facing this.
They are a good exchange for me and most trusted ever since, but with this kind of issue,  for sure they will fix this and resolve any issue. I believe in them. This is far from case of FTX Exchange, this is just like issue from regulation, like licensing.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why technical analysis is not reliable on: April 03, 2024, 02:24:41 AM
technical analysis is a useful tool for traders, but we have to consider it's limitations. Technical analysis is basically based on assumption about the past market statistics and data, without putting into consideration other external factors . So traders should not 100 percent rely on technical analysis, they should use it together with other methods of analysis.
(...)
But for me, technical analysis is the nearest way to trade and support your analysis. It's not guaranteed yes, but a lot of professional traders use technical analysis for a living, cryptocurrency or not cryptocurrency technical analysis really exists.
Just think that trading will not give you a 100% guarantee.
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC to Tether for percentage gain on: April 03, 2024, 02:21:36 AM
Question
HODL is common practice with many Bitcoiners but has anyone braved the risk of changing out BTC for a stablecoin to then change back into BTC when the price has significantly lowered to gain percentages?
For me, the answer is yes because the strategy you're describing is commonly practiced in the cryptocurrency world, not just with Bitcoin but with other digital assets as well.

HODLing involves holding onto Bitcoin regardless of market volatility, with the expectation that is value will increase significantly in the long term.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: April 03, 2024, 02:18:37 AM
Solana this bottom or bear market was a performer, if you take a look the all-time high of Solana is already near, around -30% left, almost the same as Ethereum.
We all know what happened with Solana during the FTX Exchange crisis and a lot of people telling Solana will not able to recover, including me. But look how the table turns.
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Make Money Trading, Even When You Are Wrong on: April 03, 2024, 02:14:19 AM
(...)
He is able to be in drawdown from 8 trades in a row, because he is not risking a large lot size per trade.

He knows the market will retrace back or close to the original first trade,

This is the power of risk management, as long as you are consistent with your style or way of trading, you will be profitable, you need to master and control your emotions, not chasing loss is very helpful for this kind of case.
Maintaining this in the long term will make you profitable.
153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why most of Exchanges FAIL ? on: April 02, 2024, 02:20:59 AM
Be smart and keep your assets SAFE always use a Cold Wallet Your Keys Your Coins
Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts.

Also you can see Exchange graveyards with Time and Cause of Death.

Most of exchange death causes will be
  • Scam exit
  • Hack and fail to compensate users, fail to recover itself
  • Bad treasury management includes customer money; and bad risk management such as over leveraged; then bankrupt
Exactly! We can really relate this to the OG exchange in Bitcoin which is Mt. Gox.
As everyone knows already, Mt. Gox exchange experienced most of the list that said tranthidung and Mt. Gox is the best example how these tragedies can effect an exchange even how good or nice your exchange is.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOL (SOLANA) Token Discussions, Price Predictions & Speculation on: April 02, 2024, 02:19:27 AM
Solana tokens are one of the recent most performing coins because they have been seen on a fast rising track and those that have invested in them earlier before their launch are making a huge profit from such, we must not nevertheless fail in making the necessary research in those projects and the new ones they may as well b e introducing to the network and the crypto community.
Great interest in Solana is fueled by meme tokens; they gave a second wind to the project. I’m more interested in what will happen after the hype of these tokens subsides, how Solana will behave and whether there will be such an increased interest in it.The network itself works great and there are no questions about it, commissions on the network are super cheap and that’s good news.
And these memecoins for me also is somehow a use case for the network, so it can stress test the network. Remember a lot of issues in the past from Solana? About their network is being down for several times?
For me, it's not good for the network, the network must work 24/7 with no downtime.

We all know how fast and cheap transaction fees on Solana but with any downtime, it's not good. So for me, these meme coins somehow good because it can be use to drive a lot of transaction in the network.
155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wait for the right set-up on: April 02, 2024, 02:17:15 AM
( ...)
But waiting for the right set-up gives you an edge in the market, when you trade only when you sees an opportunity, you will mostly comes out profitable, as long as you knows the craft a little, but probing the market every now and then will only make you lose money, because trading is more of patience and knowledge.
This is very true because, even with how many trade losses you did as long as you have stopped the loss and are not eager to get into a new trade, you will be profitable.
Sometimes 1 perfect trade will able to get your losses back, so at the end, you end up profitable as long as you waited for the right set-up and not chasing losses.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Existing/established altcoins or new ones? on: April 02, 2024, 02:04:07 AM
To be honest, i recently traded shitcoins and made way more profits than I did with established coins  Cheesy
Maybe I was just lucky, but the truth is there is also a huge risk as they dump so bad if your timing is bad. We are talking about 90% dump in a day or two. This is impossible with established coins

To me

Long term -- Established coins
Short term -- You can do new coins/tokens too, but be very careful and get out as soon as you get good profit. Do not be so greedy.
Yep, I agree. Recently I also experienced this, sometimes trading with new coins is good because there's no yet any basis on how high it could go or how low it could dump. It's like price discovery.
But since you are afraid here, sometimes you are betting less then sometimes it is more performer than other pair you put larger amount.
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what sort of features would you want in a trading bot? on: April 01, 2024, 02:32:40 AM
Easy to use, friendly user.
Most of the trading bots I saw are very difficult to use, and not friendly to newbies especially.

I am not against trading bots, it is a really big help for busy persons. Even if it's a paid bot, I am really willing to pay for it as long as it is useful and can satisfy what I need in a trading bot.
158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Funded Trading best option for traders without funds to trade? on: April 01, 2024, 01:45:51 AM
I know a friend who is doing this.
My realization is there's some psychological effect when you are using other's people funds than using your own. It's kinda of you are be more careful and responsible with the funds you are using.

My friend who is using this is really profitable, it's my first time to hear from him that you can do it here in cryptocurrency trading.
159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This bitcoin bull market isn't over yet ! on: April 01, 2024, 01:32:07 AM
According to Rainbow Graph the All Time High its expected to happen after the 4th halving soon
Which this leads to understand that this Bull market is not over yet  and that you still can prepare and HOLD for New All Time High
While short-term price fluctuations are inevitable in any market, the long-term outlook for Bitcoin remains positive.

I love this chart, simple and clean.

If you take a look at this chart carefully and zoom in, we can see some dumps after each Bitcoin block halving and after that dump, it will continue to rally upward.

So for me, just incase this will happen again this time, it's the best time for other people who was able to left behind on new all-time high price of Bitcoin recently.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on the market right now? on: April 01, 2024, 01:27:27 AM
I want to stock up on alts for the spot now. What do you think, should I buy now or should I wait?
What I can share about price action these days is when Bitcoin does sideways, altcoins pumping. When Bitcoin pumps, some altcoins pump too or they just stay sideways. When Bitcoin dumps, altcoin dumps.
So, if you think about, Bitcoin is advantage during pumps but some altcoins will pump high percentage, then you can use it as advantage, so choosing wisely altcoin performer is an advantage.
