1101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When to buy - A look into the future of BTC !? on: May 23, 2023, 03:24:17 PM
January 2024, halving year = NOW ore NEVER!
(....)
Make sense, we are almost the same predictions as what will happen before the block-halving event.
Since the ETA of bitcoin block halving is around April 2024, and what I observed on the past Bitcoin block halvings of Bitcoin, price action are very volatile months before. Most are Bitcoin pumps months before the ETA of Bitcoin block halving.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you decide on a buy price target? on: May 23, 2023, 03:17:13 PM
How do you decide where to take the plunge?  A certain %drop from the top or a %above bottom?
Or do you just look at previous levels as the traders always mention, Optimism is getting close to some previous tops at $1.3 for example?
(....)
Most people especially traders will always have a basis when they will buy, some could be using supports and resistances. Some are using historical prices of a particular cryptocurrency, for example: on this price, the price peaked before and after that, it went dumped or vice versa.

While some are also not buying the dip or dump because they will not guarantee that it is the dip already or the cheapest, some are starting to buy once the price is bouncing back.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: May 23, 2023, 03:11:29 PM
I have successfully brought in four people into crypto gambling, and it was the easiest thing ever, they came asking if it's possible to use crypto for gambling and I said yes, but I told them that I am not ready to introduce any platform for anyone, but these guys then showed me there past gambles on a local website that only accept Fiat, that's when I got soft with them and I showed them the websites I use for gambling
(......)
I almost experience this before because I have a lot of colleagues or even friends that are into gambling but most of them are gambling fiat also and have no even idea what is cryptocurrency or how to use it.
But there are some friends of mine I introduced also in gambling using cryptocurrency before like they give me their fiat exchange of cryptocurrency that they will use on a gambling platform, by doing that, it's easy for them to gamble using cryptocurrencies.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Relying on someone else's signals on: May 23, 2023, 02:51:48 PM
(....)
Has anyone here ever succeeded in following someone else's signals?
I already experienced this before. Before when I started following them, it was kinda profitable in the early days, like they have a list or journals about their performance, and during the early days, they are profitable especially when the market is bearing market.
But afterward, they started to become a premium channel where they are not free anymore, we tried to pay it for months only and after that, they become unprofitable, like their performance went down compared to their early days.
1105  Economy / Services / Re: Utopia P2P Ecosystem 💎 | Review Campaign 🔎| Participate Now! | Get paid in BTC on: May 23, 2023, 08:48:02 AM
My review:

1. Add an option to view your CRP balance in fiat currency, like USD or any other fiat currency. This will show how much in USD your  CRP Balance

2. Why I can't close this Chats tab/window? It will always be much better to customize my dashboard because there could be some people that don't want to use Chats at all, like, they only will use it most of the time the wallet itself (send/receive transactions)

3. Uniform number of decimal places.
You must have only 1 uniform number of decimal places so users will not confuse about how much their balance is. And for example in the future, the price of CRP will increase or become expensive, I believe decimal places will matter. So having uniform decimal places / rounding off all over the dashboard will help.

4. Swap Page

  • a. I think it's much better to show how much is your rate in the swap, like 1 CRP = 0.52 UUSD or vice versa.
  • b. I tried to swap 1 CRP to UUSD, but when I pressed the button "Exchange" I didn't even get any confirmation or alert if I wish to continue. I think it's much better to add a confirmation pop-up just in case a user accidentally pressed the "Exchange" button

1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sunday off-topic - If not "bitcoin", then what? on: May 22, 2023, 12:39:22 AM
Bitcoin is only a name. The name does not make sense but the technology behinds Bitcoin, Blockchain technology is very important.
The name does make sense, since Bitcoin is a digital currency, naming it Bitcoins matches its nature. Aside from the explanation given by @Mate2237, we all know "bit" is a term that has something to do with computing, and Bitcoin is produced by computing or solving blocks if I am not mistaken.  The name Bitcoin is not something that came out accidentally.  Satoshi has the reason why Bitcoin is named Bitcoin.
Make sense, and I think even if not Bitcoin is the name of Bitcoin right now, people will still consider it a good name or people will still accept it, for example, "ByteCoin", "BlockCoin", "ChainCoin", etc.
It will really not matter at all for sure. People just became used to being the name "Bitcoin" right now.
I'm sure that besides Bitcoin, there are still a lot of candidate names from Satoshi to be the name of Bitcoin instead.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The power of digital money on: May 21, 2023, 11:29:42 PM
Digital money become useful these days because it can improve the efficiency, security, and comfort of our financial lives daily.
What I can notice is being convenient, and people who do not have access to traditional banking services may particularly benefit from this.

The best example is Bitcoin, where you can have your own bank on your mobile phone, anywhere and anytime which removes the constraints imposed by physical currency in the past.
1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awareness as the major force for Bitcoin adoption on: May 21, 2023, 11:25:47 PM
Adoption of Bitcoin starts with you and me and this is done by good publicity through appropriate channels making people to know what they tend to benefit as the market bum as well as the negative impact during the down- trend.
(....)
Exactly, a simple act will help Bitcoin to grow and become known to most people in the world. For example, accepting Bitcoin businesses, small or big businesses will be helpful.
Government support also will be helpful because there are some countries that don't support Bitcoin for their people.
Convenient platforms, where people will not find difficulty using these platforms that interact with Bitcoin, could be a personal wallet, centralized or decentralized exchange, because expect that these people will use it on their daily lives.

1110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest challenges of bitcoin... on: May 21, 2023, 11:30:34 AM
I personal see that there are scalability difficulties with cryptocurrencies, which means they may not be able to process enormous quantities of transactions at once. This might make them difficult to utilize for routine transactions, since these transactions may take too long to process and complete.
(....)
I believe that this issue is very simple. This kind of problem will be managed in the future, there is a lot of technology or projects that are helping to solve this issue like Lightning Network.
Another thing is this is a much better problem than the problem of "decentralization", it's easier to solve.
About people trusting Bitcoin as an investment, yeah this kind of issue is also an issue for some people that's why some are afraid to invest in Bitcoin.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose altcoins you buy? on: May 21, 2023, 11:25:17 AM
(.....)
Aping in to just tokens that has just been released: By doing this i don't have even the time to do decent research. I try to look everything as fast as i can and hope for the best. With this tactic i have found my best micro caps. I have also been bought into some instant rug pulls.
This is very risky especially if you didn't do any research. Like your only basis is "just been released". This is gambling.
But I know a lot of people are making huge money by just doing this.

The list on top is better, especially the real-world use case and good tokenomics. You must always do research first and know everything before you put your money because in the long run, you will be profitable by just doing that.
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin or cryptocurrency offer loan service? on: May 21, 2023, 11:19:51 AM
(....)
These loans are typically facilitated through peer-to-peer lending platforms or decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.
Both sides will have to rely on the DeFi operators and they can lose their coins if the DeFi platform collapses or scam exits.
I don't think so, there is not proof that these centralized exchanges guaranteed that the funds of their users are being used on DeFi platforms.
Some of them for sure are being used for their own benefits which could lead to the risk of their customers' funds. They must be transparent here. So always advisable is to use decentralized platform that using these centralized.
1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment, fulltime endeavor or side hustle? on: May 21, 2023, 11:06:11 AM
(......)
after this encounter, I decided to bring this question too to the Bitcoin community itself so I would hear from other traders like myself. What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?
You really need to weigh everything here, like think what you will going to sacrifice if you will quit your to be full time in Bitcoin investment or any hustle, is it worth it?
Because there's no guaranteed that you will earn consistent profits in Bitcoin investing or even trading, so think twice.
While some people are staying to their job and in their free time they are researching any potential investment related to Bitcoin like buying cheap Bitcoin on dumps or trading.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Only 89 days left for Litecoin Halving event! on: May 18, 2023, 01:44:40 AM
I believe that the effect of the Bitcoin halving event will occur before the event, so for me, since it is less than 100 days, more or less 3 months. I believe it already started. As you can see the price of Litecoin become stable and difficult to see huge dumps even if the market is dumping.
But for me, it will not be just like Bitcoin but we should also consider it because most of the time that's what happens on Bitcoin.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether to buy Bitcoin based on monthly net profits on: May 18, 2023, 01:37:16 AM
For me, this decision from the Tether team is good for Bitcoin itself as it can be possible for Bitcoin to rise in demand and may result in a price increase for Bitcoin and it might contribute to the legitimacy of Bitcoin and increase its appeal to institutional investors.
Once Tether will prove that this action is effective, I believe that there will be a lot of other companies will follow.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MicroCap buying "technique" !!??!! on: May 17, 2023, 01:39:47 PM
The micro market cap is gambling, trust me. As you can notice, there are lot of people that only stake only for these micro caps, it's like you are playing the lottery where you are hitting the jackpot. Because if your lucky enough and the micro marketcap you able to buy will make a huge pump, it will be huge that you can expect.
1117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some people started their BTC journey when things were more hopeless on: May 17, 2023, 01:36:45 PM
Yet some beginners still doubts, when I see beginners acting weak on Bitcoin, doubting its survival, I always ask them, what about those who invested in Bitcoin years ago when everything was so cold and hopeless? What gave people like that some courage at the time? Now big companies or well-known people are now adopting Bitcoin, that's your Courage there.
(...)
We can't blame other people, especially these beginners because I feel them also before, like I don't know what I am doing or I don't know at the beginning where my money is going if I will buy Bitcoin.
These big companies or entities become my inspiration because if these companies are buying or investing and trusting Bitcoin with a very huge amount of money while I have a very small, then I trust to do it also.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Blur will overtake Opensea on: May 15, 2023, 02:04:07 AM
There is always the possibility that Blur will surpass Opensea or beat. Blur got a better user experience and good UI and as I saw in their articles that OpenSea receives a 2.5% fee on all secondary sales.
While Blur charges no transaction fees and advises buyers to pay a royalty rate of 0.5% by default, though this can be changed or set to 0.

We will still not know what will be the future updates of these 2 NFT platforms, maybe some of them will adjust to compete with the other one. It's still early to decide here. Blur is new platform while Opensea is already here for long time.
1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bitcoin investors! on: May 15, 2023, 01:58:20 AM
I don't know why you are making bitcoin investment look like a university course. Is it how it is contained in your head?
Please have a rethink and simply put that;
A good bitcoin investor is one who buys low and sell high
(...)
I don't think so, this is more likely a trader for my own understanding. A good Bitcoin investor for me is a long-term hodler.
Well, that is just my own opinion as we don't have a basis. As I believe that investors in Bitcoin or non-bitcoin related must possess patience, disciplined, always doing research, and many more.
1120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot trading or future trading which trading is best for beginers? on: May 15, 2023, 01:25:34 AM
I advise you to begin with spot trading if you are new to trading cryptocurrencies. Most newbies I believe started from spot trading, just like me, a few years ago.

You can then think about transitioning to futures trading once you have a better understanding of the market and how it functions. Master first or familiarize how trading works then you can start doing futures trading with very less leverage.
