1081  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Choosing a cryptocurrency pair on: May 28, 2023, 02:46:10 PM
Share your experiences with different cryptocurrency pairs
Even with a good or bad ending
(.....)
Me, I don't have really experience because for me sometimes instead of trading other pairs especially the mid-low market caps, they are almost the same, they must correlate with price of top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, that's why sometimes I ended up trading Bitcoin or Ethereum.
1082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market is seasonal on: May 28, 2023, 02:37:28 PM
(.....)
I see that there is no complete expert trader, at a point everyone experience loss both robots. That's means the market is kind of seasonal, it can favor you today and hit you tomorrow.
That's how trading works, even how expert you are or how experienced you are in trading, you can't always be profitable or always a 100% guaranteed winner.
That's why there are a lot of personalities or influencers on the different social media that are only showing their winners to get the attention of some people.

Overall, you must always think long term and how you preserve your capital.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or banking investment? on: May 28, 2023, 02:10:59 PM
(....)
Which do you preferred your money to be save in as investment? Bitcoin or bank! What's your reason?
For me, investment in banks these days is already old school. Because for me, I am only using the bank these days for my daily expenses or emergency fund, money that I can quickly use just in case I want.
Which, about investments, I don't use banks at all for them.
Bitcoin yes, I bought Bitcoins sometimes when I want to invest in them. Then I set my goal where I will take profit from that investment.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Crypto will never reach mass adoption if it does not before more user-friendly" on: May 28, 2023, 01:59:21 PM
I really agree with the title, cryptocurrency is still in the early days and I believe that there is still a lot of room to grow.
Being user friendly platforms is a must because some people thinking that if you will use cryptocurrency, you must be techy because at first you can't use cryptocurrency without internet connection and I believe that there are still lot of people are not yet introduced with internet connection or some don't want to use it.
1085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I trade bitcoin? on: May 28, 2023, 01:39:13 PM
First of all you need to select a good exchange, from security point of view I suggest you to use binance exchange for your trading.
(....)
I don't think this is a good initial move, I think it's better to start doing some studies first, to understand how trading works. There are some platforms where you can do trade without using any money, it's what they called "demo" exchanges.
Then after that, once you already know the basics of trading, I think it's better to start creating and funding your real exchange account.
1086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to place orders quickly on 1m intervals ? on: May 26, 2023, 01:46:10 AM
Why such a hurry? I think that rushing into trading is completely inappropriate and usually leads to obviously not positive results.
OP seems doing a scalping trade using a lower timeframe. For OP, you need it rush because if you do trade on a lower timeframe, the volatility is extremely high and every move on scalping is extremely important.

For OP, I think if you have such a hurry, you can all do it manually because the price moves so quick when you do trade at lower intervals.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dubai to construct the world's first bitcoin tower on: May 25, 2023, 11:32:29 PM
This Bitcoin tower to be constructed will be a significant development for the Bitcoin community and evidence that the cryptocurrency is gaining popularity.
It's just showing that Bitcoin is going mainstream, this will gain more people to be introduced to Bitcoin and Dubai is one of the most city that in bucket list of tourists.
1088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STAGNATION OF BITCOIN PRICE FOR WEEKS on: May 25, 2023, 02:09:26 AM
Bitcoin's price holds steady near $27,000 as investors consider debt ceiling developments. CoinDesk's former head of research writes that with much government efforts in such large, emerging countries as PAKISTAN and NIGERIA to curb crypto activity, citizens there seem to be turning to digital assets as a hedge.
(....)
I believe with the current behavior of Bitcoin's price is very bad for most traders and other altcoins.
Because when Bitcoin does these very volatile actions, dumps, and sideways, look at other altcoins, they are bleeding. I believe that we will still experience this until end of this month.

1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New trend PEPE ? Seems many projects Launching with PEPE Names. on: May 25, 2023, 01:27:22 AM
Ofcourse they are riding the hype. Same thing I have observed with NFTs having names and concepts related to 'APE', since it is one of the projects which generated huge profit.
(....)
This way also most scammers are up to. Because when they do this, people will be easily lured because that's what is trending now, it's easy for them to find the target.
This is the same situation that happened before about dogecoin, which most of other chains before got an animal coin just like dogecoin, so it's simply a copy-paste coin.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano still a good investment? on: May 25, 2023, 01:15:36 AM
I am looking to add one more Crypto to my portfolio and thinking Cardano but wondering how high this can really go during the next bull run.
Cardano is a good choice but surely no one can know how high the price to increase in bullrun season. It is impossible, dude! Everyone just makes their own predictions related to the potential rise of the price.
But if you are looking for around high ROI, like what OP said they are expecting around 10x or more. I think it's much better to find a good gem that is still 'new'.
We all know that Cardano is already since before.
Cardano got good technology which is proof-of-stake and they have a team which are experienced engineers and they are know what they are doing.
1091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run near already? on: May 25, 2023, 12:59:04 AM
For several months since this year, after we breached the $20,000 level before, the cryptocurrency market has been consolidating. This indicates that the market is developing and that investors are growing more at ease with risk also of course.
For me, I can say it's already near because as you can see when we are dumping, it's not too much, it's just more on sideways.
1092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2024 halving less than 1 year away on: May 23, 2023, 04:06:26 PM
Based on my research before, I checked every Bitcoin block halvings before and I conclude from my own opinion, the price starts to pump every before the exact Bitcoin block halving. Which for me makes sense here, the "buy the rumors, sell the news" comes here because for example on some people who are not familiar on this event, some of them could expect on the day of event it will be a bullish for Bitcoin or that's the only time it will only pump or will start.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: May 23, 2023, 04:02:41 PM
(.....)
what will happen to altcoins if btc price drops to 10 dollars?
For sure altcoins will drop to the lowest price of them, like -99.9% lost.
But for some people, it could be an opportunity if Bitcoin drops to 10 dollars, because most of people altcoin follows Bitcoin and I believe the percentage of dump on altcoins is higher to Bitcoin everytime Bitcoin dumps.
1094  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: May 23, 2023, 03:58:05 PM
I only use BTC/USDT pair because USDT make me easier to determine how much my coins worth after trade and most liquid stable coin, the reason why I choose BTC is I don't need to worry about it when my trading goes wrong. So if I bought Bitcoin at the peak and the price keep decreasing, I will not sell it, but I will wait for the next super cycle where Bitcoin usually break new ATH.
(....)
This is the common reason which I also agree with.
Bitcoin is the highest market cap cryptocurrency, I believe that other cryptocurrencies are just correlated to Bitcoin's price. So instead trading to these altcoins, why not just trade Bitcoin, Bitcoin got more high trading volume (more traders are trading this peer).
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before investing on meme coin or shitcoins consider this. on: May 23, 2023, 03:55:36 PM
3. Be realistic and don't join the FOMO since this could lead up losing your money.
For me, this is very common. Because hype these days is common, if what is trending, people tend to go for it, some people who are early to the party are for sure making the most money, while those people who are already late, could lose some of their money.
When Memecoins started, I didn't even try it or tried to buy any random memecoins.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last side of Bitcoin I've failed to look into on: May 23, 2023, 03:49:21 PM
Is all we can do as a Bitcoin investor is to HODL?

Is there any way to HODL and make more BTC?
Since we already have already now decentralized finance (defi), there are already some platforms now where you can stake your Bitcoin, what is happening here is you convert your Bitcoin to another wrapped-bitcoin on another network.
And through this, some platforms accept "stake" where you can stake your wrapped bitcoin to earn interest.
1097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price motivation benchmark: on: May 23, 2023, 03:46:10 PM
(....)
Bitcoin has a cycle to help calculate its movement unlike those altcoins that have high centralization, subject to pump.
I'm happy for you. Most altcoins for me also are just for hype. I already experienced this before during the early days of my experience in cryptocurrency.
I regret too much before because instead, I kept my Bitcoin, I exchanged them for some altcoins.
Another thing why there are some people are being lured to buy altcoins instead of Bitcoin is because of the ROI they can see versus Bitcoin.
1098  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets on: May 23, 2023, 03:40:47 PM
What pros and cons do you see when scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets such as NASDAQ.
What assets do you recommend for scalping other than Bitcoin and what platform to use for those assets?
Pros are always the 24/7 market and high volatility which for some scalpers it's good.
And cons, exchange risk - there are already a lot of issues about centralized cryptocurrency exchange in the past.

The about best asset I can recommend other than Bitcoin is other top altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, Ripple, and Cardano.
1099  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are some common challenges in bitcoin;and how can they be addressed? on: May 23, 2023, 03:33:30 PM
Hi mates, what are some common challenges most of you have faced in bitcoin and how they can be addressed...
Scalability or the transaction fees are too much high sometimes. I believe that this kind of issue will be able to solve in the future, and there is already some technology that helping Bitcoin to solve this issue.
Another thing is the regulatory, which some governments are having problems with cryptocurrency because some governments hate cryptocurrency for their people.
1100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What was your biggest fear with starting in crypto? on: May 23, 2023, 03:30:58 PM
Genuinely want to know what prevents your friends/gf/ colleagues from investing? Did you have any barriers when you first started?
After volatility is the biggest fear of why people are afraid to invest in Bitcoin, we can also add the regulatory risks and scams/frauds.
Because some government rules may have a big impact on the price and legitimacy of some cryptocurrencies while scams/frauds are very prone in cryptocurrency because in cryptocurrency some could hide their identity, which for some scammers are advantage.
