1141  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: tips for profitable investment in bitcoin on: May 10, 2023, 01:06:51 AM
1. Investment should be long-term.  Bitcoin is always profitable when investment is long-term, buying in lower amount,  hodl till when the market rises. This may take time and this can only be achieved by exercising patience.
(...)
I don't agree with this because I already saw a lot of people that even when they start to invest they don't need to wait for long term. I think this will depend on your goal because there are some people who want to invest for the short term only and they will decide when they invest to achieve that short-term goal.
So overall, it seems like you just need a perfect timing.

But at this point, I will really like to know whether or not Bitcoin trading is a means to gain profits during market speculations, and how possible it is to make passive income through cryptocurrency trading.
Trading Bitcoin can be a way to profit from market speculation, but it also comes with a lot of risk.
I don't see any passive income when you do cryptocurrency trading because you need to move here, you need to learn and analyze. But maybe if you do automation like using trading bots, maybe we can call it as passive income as long as your trading bot is profitable.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising altcoins? on: May 09, 2023, 03:15:17 AM
Ethereum (ETH),Binance Coin (BNB),XRP (XRP). how to choose how to distribute the interest on them?
ETH and BNB will be the best option here, I don't quite trust XRP since it had negative news lately.
(....)
I agree here, I will go for an Ethereum major. I am not underestimating BNB here. For me, BNB is only on top because of their Binance Exchange, but on their Binance Smart Chain (BSC), it's really far from Ethereum. Just think of that, their exchange got the biggest influence on the BNB token, and that's it. If Binance Exchange will fail or will get some issues, the BNB is always affected.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top AI Crypto coins that can possibly change your life on: May 09, 2023, 03:10:09 AM
these AI coins could change my life financially if they ever got the massive bullrun coming but definitely not my life from the perspective of convenience because i've seen very few practical usage for me personally that i'd say they honestly never become more practical than their competition that got sponsored by the big companies.
I am curious why AI needs blockchain. I don't see any use cases besides hype only of AI, then here's the cryptocurrency purpose to only make money due to hype.
Because AI is the trend now, so people like scammers will take advantage of the current trend of AI to make money and scam people.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the signs of the next bull market for cryptocurrencies ? on: May 09, 2023, 02:56:49 AM
About the sign, I am always looking forward to the Bitcoin block halving.
If you visit here: https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/ and check the chart, it is simply showing that the indicator of every bull market is the block halving.
But the bull market is not always starting on the exact day of halving or after the event, if you take a closer look, it is starting on "before" the event.

1146  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bitcoin a good option for a beginner in Cryptocurrency? on: May 09, 2023, 02:48:51 AM
Am a newbie I need more detailed clarification and explanation from senior colleagues here on the best Cryptocurrency to invest on whenever i have the funds and how to go about it.
only you can decide that, do your own research, analyse the market and be at peace with your choice.
This is always a MUST. Most of the beginners in the space are always doing research for sure especially if it's their first time to hear Bitcoin.
For OP, if you're interested in investing in cryptocurrency and decided to put out some money to invest, please please, try a small amount first, like an amount that you are willing to afford because a lot of beginners complain that they lost their hard-earned money, don't be like them.
1147  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 09, 2023, 02:46:07 AM
Bitcoin is approaching $30k this morning, and a break of $30k is almost certain this month. But I still remember the saying "sell in May," so I will be more careful instead of expecting another bull run in bitcoin. I still predict by the end of May, we are still under $30k. May is usually a bad month for the market.
More like "sell in May" but for the rest of the last quarter of the year, I am bullish about it. It's only a matter of time. I think we are just making a price correction because what we did last few months is extremely bullish and $30,000 was reached in just a matter of months since the 2023 year started. I am still expecting some cool down on the price this month.
1148  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 100K FOR 2024 ! on: May 09, 2023, 02:32:03 AM
https://i.ibb.co/PhSBhJW/BTC11.jpg

65K Last year record price ever !

I think this year it might be full 100K Final bullrun for the coin.
I don't know where you got the $65k last year price. But the information is wrong and 65k is not even the ATH.
(....)
$65,000 as an all-time high is rounded off  Cheesy and it is also a psychological price, there are some people even telling $60,000 is an all-time high. So it's ok for me.

About the new all-time high for 2024, I am really looking forward for this because I am also basing on the Bitcoin block halving, because on past bitcoin block halving of Bitcoins, before the event we always see upward price actions on Bitcoin.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 2 questions that bother me on: May 09, 2023, 02:17:45 AM
(....)
2/ In your experience, is it a good idea to buy a chip the second it is listed for a profit?
For me here is no, because we already experience a lot of this, especially for tokens that were airdropped recently, like Aptos and Arbitrum.
As you can see, on these both tokens, on the very first they started to be traded, the price started on top and it is dropping slowly.
That's why a lot of people are waiting for a dump before buying, or some people that got airdropped tokens tend to sell them after it is available to trade and they will just rebuy at a cheaper price.
I am not sure if this will still apply if we are in a bull season.
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High transaction fees and businesses that accept bitcoins. on: May 09, 2023, 02:08:08 AM
In my opinion, high transaction costs are very scary because sometimes when buying and selling goods, it may not be what we want, for example when we buy
1 instant noodle but the BTC transaction fee is more expensive than the price of the goods we buy, so I think this BTC transaction fee must be fixed quickly because otherwise it's the same as wanting to make people not trust BTC anymore and eventually BTC investors will suffer losses.
if btc transaction fees continue to be expensive, in my opinion one day miners will also be affected because there will no longer be people willing to transact and invest in btc, especially the lower class.
but I hope transaction fees return to normal quickly and are cheap.
This is really the problem because people tend to use Bitcoin for payment to make their life convenient and easy as become cashless.
But when this will come, it somehow becomes not convenient anymore. This is a known issue for an aged now, and that's why there are lot of new technologies that helping the Bitcoin community to solve this, best example is layer 2. Where layer-2 these days is still not that popular, so businnses that accepts Bitcoin are having difficult to handle this issue.
1151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Brain storm on how to limit losses... on: May 09, 2023, 01:35:51 AM
(....)
What led to your major loss in the market as for me it was staying too long on a trade i was making good profit before it turned all red and while waiting for the market to finish the correction moves i ended up losing everything.  How about you?
For me, traders are not sticking with their plans.
Let's say for example before they enter a trade, they have a plan already, stop loss on x price, take profit on y price.
Then suddenly let's say the price goes to the opposite of their price target, then even if the stop loss is not yet triggered, they already close the trade. So by that, you already conclude or accepted the lose, what if it will not hit your stop loss? Then that's the problem.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm getting tired of the high fees for gwei on: May 09, 2023, 01:22:50 AM
The popularity of DeFi and NFTs has increased demand for Ethereum transactions, leading to higher fees.
(...)
But most of these big platforms on Ethereum are started to exist on layer 2 networks. Where it will help people to save a lot of transaction fees especially if you are not a whale. This is what I noticed also about using Ethereum mainnet and you got only a few funds that are in a transaction, the fees are too much high for you already.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When using Bitcoin to make purchases, do you feel bad? on: May 09, 2023, 01:09:52 AM
For me, it will always depend on my goal, if my goal is for investment long term, then I really feel bad if ever my Bitcoin is being used for any purchases.
But if I decided that it's ok to use Bitcoin in my daily lives or on the thing/service that can really help me, it's all good for me.
1154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and trading in crypto: can make you or mar you. on: May 08, 2023, 02:12:39 AM
I saw this as a memes on a social media platform which created much laughter amongst many person's with funny comments that followed. But let's view it the other round in real sense.
Social media is full of lies.
This is very normal to see on social media because social media are more open, you will encounter a lot of people with different visions or opinions especially when it comes to cryptocurrency, which a lot of people don't know what will happen in the future of cryptocurrency. The only wrong here is that guy is likely telling that it's already finished or telling without any proof or basis.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding cryptocurrencies and investment. on: May 08, 2023, 02:03:15 AM
(....)
How do we identify the best coin and the period to invest in these types of coins?
For me, it's difficult to identify the time as some people are only investing when the trend is already bullish or some people are buying the dips which they intend to start to accumulate during the bear season or a lot of dumps happening.
For me, it's better to do research and technical analysis because this will help you to identify when to invest. About the best coin, you can do it by doing research.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government's actions against crypto on: May 08, 2023, 12:40:43 AM
The US government and the cryptocurrency market are having a lot of ups and downs, and it seems like they're headed towards a very important conflict. This conflict will determine the fate of many people and companies involved in cryptocurrency. They might have to shut down or move to a different country.
I believe that this is only temporary, this shake in the cryptocurrency market and regulation will just on the early days, we all know cryptocurrency is still it's on the early days which for me, I agree with it. We can relate this to the early days of gold before.
Just think that we are now living now in high technology, and in our day-by-day lives we are always using technology, so think about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What a shame on: May 08, 2023, 12:32:04 AM
One of the students have a father that's a lecturer and after I got home this student told me that his father said that the government is the only thing that can decide if a currency is fit to be people's currency or not, if the government says no then it's a no, coming from a lecturer this is so sad.
(....)
We can't force the father here, for me that is his own opinion, and what can see, what if this father still doesn't know what is Bitcoin or still doesn't know how Bitcoin works?
These kinds of people sure are still living in the old times, and most of these are still practicing the old ways.
We should also consider what kind of government they have or which country they are living.
1158  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BULL MAY BE IN TROUBLE on: May 07, 2023, 11:52:33 PM
(....)
Some people think that in the short term, the price could still go up and down a lot because of different things like the economy and what people think. It's hard to know for sure what will happen, so people who want to invest in Bitcoin should be careful and think about the risks and rewards before doing anything because the Bull market may be in trouble.BTC
This is the best example of not being too comfortable when you are in the cryptocurrency market, too much volatile, and no one will know what will happen. Even if you can see on the charts, candlesticks are very ugly, lot of wicks.
And if you are trading or investing, you must always learn how to take profits or sticking with your plan like price target or stop loss. It's not always "UP ONLY".
1159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your most effective crypto trading strategies? on: May 07, 2023, 11:47:22 PM
6: What advice do you have for new traders who are just starting out
(....)
There is a lot of advice or must TODO when you are just starting out. I can give you some importants;
Start small - try a small amount of capital to try your first few trades.
Practice on demo exchanges - there are some exchanges that got demo trading, which means you don't need real money.
Risk management - know the risk, know how much are you willing to lose, and know how much you will win on every trades, always set stop loss and price target.
1160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to maintain profitability in crypto trading on: May 07, 2023, 11:41:00 PM
(..........)
3) Increase your capital: if you want to maintain profits in your crypto trading, you need to work hard to increase your capital so that it will help you to buy huge amount of coins that will help you to maintain your regular profits in the market.
I don't really agree here, you don't need to increase your capital. You can just even preserve your capital, and do proper risk management. Protect your capital at all costs, like always do have stop losses. Always think that not most of the time is a good to trade, sometimes you need to wait for better trade entry.
