1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asset-Backed NFTs vs. Digital Twin NFTs on: May 14, 2023, 12:42:19 AM
In my own opinion, both types of NFTs have their unique use cases and potential benefits. Digital twin NFTs and asset-backed NFTs have the potential to completely alter how we believe in value and ownership.

I don't see any advantage here or like the better one versus the other one because it will be based on your goals, both are NFT and they have both values, you can trade them also. I think what's common now is the Digital twin NFT because that's really the essence of NFT, from the word of "non-fungible".
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: May 14, 2023, 12:07:13 AM
2. What would happen to alt coins when Bitcoin becomes relatively stable( when it is fully mined and will solve its problem of price volatility)? Will alt coins survive the test of time? Will new alt coins be created later? What would become of the various countries'currencies, especially the Dollar (the global reserve currency) after Bitcoin's general acceptance?
(....)
Since Altcoins differ from Bitcoin in terms of special qualities and applications, altcoins are still around and thriving.
As long as Bitcoin still exists, I believe altcoins will still always have room.

Altcoins may still be valuable even if Bitcoin becomes comparatively stable because they serve different functions and have unique features.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My experience with memorizing seed phrases on: May 14, 2023, 12:01:04 AM
(....)
So in summary, I think memorizing a seed is easier than most people think, and there's no need to come up with songs or rhymes or other stuff, they can probably even make things worse. But in general memory is not reliable, even in long term, so this shouldn't be viewed as a reliable backup. It's just a nice extra layer of backup that doesn't require any complicated setup, and its strongest upside is that it's always with you (until your memory fails).
Another thing also that will help you to memorize your seed phrases is called "mnemonics".

For example, using acronyms, where words or phrases are created using the first letters of several words.

Rhymes also could be helpful but as you said, you don't need it anymore. But this could be also helpful for other people who can easily memorize or recall words by just using rhymes.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Osmosis or Tezos? on: May 13, 2023, 11:52:45 PM
I don't think it's a good comparison. Osmosis and Tezos?
Osmosis is a platform that is built on the Cosmos network while Tezos is a network.
The Cosmos network and Tezos network is the one that must be compared.

So, about the Osmosis versus Tezos, I will choose Tezos for this (in terms of market cap). If network versus network, I will go to Cosmos network over Tezos network.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: May 13, 2023, 11:43:43 PM
(....)
can we considered the patience of the bounty hunter same as the investors patience?
For patience only, I can say yes. But we should take note that bounty hunter is far difference from investors because investors are using money, while bounty hunters are only time.
Then we should consider that these bounty hunters are more likely trading their time to make money and these investors are already got the money, they just want to make more money. So, for some people, time is important, while for some, money is more important.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - what is your plan when we reach $100k? on: May 13, 2023, 11:40:28 PM
It would be best to take the big profits that can be made at that time if you are a trader, and let some of it help you wait for the next bull run. You can use your profits to buy some if there is a bearish.
It is indeed highly recommended to take profits or sell partially when the price has reached the new ATH of 100k and this is my target as well.
(....)
This is also my goal because just in case we will reach this price, I accumulated quite enough Bitcoin from cheap prices, but I will not sell most of my Bitcoin, only partial.
Another thing is this "take profits" act will depends also to other people like depends on the price of how much they bought their Bitcoin.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats Your Favourite Meme Coins? on: May 13, 2023, 11:33:47 PM
I will always go to Dogecoin as this meme coin is the original, no more else.
But if we will base it on the market cap, Shiba Inu is the second highest market cap after Dogecoin, so maybe Shiba Inu is good then. And also because the dog on Dogecoin is Shiba Inu dog breed  Cheesy
1128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't claim to be an investor if it's still like this on: May 13, 2023, 11:23:45 PM
(....)
Due to hype of many projects, many investors are thinking for an easy money and that’s normal in crypto. They will only realize this the moment that project listed in exchange because that is where the real challenge starts, the price pump and dump will always be part of the market. Investing is indeed a long term process that we should always adopt and have strategy, remember easy money can also be easily gone if you take it carelessly.
I think this is becoming normal in the cryptocurrency market, the hype, the FUD, and FOMO everything is becoming normal in day-to-day live in the cryptocurrency market.
The "easy money" way and most influencers or some personalities that spreading it to social media is also becoming normal and through that people will be introduced to cryptocurrency and think that it's really "easy money" but they end up losing.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: May 13, 2023, 12:00:42 PM
Thoughts on this? Anyone more into XRP or is everyone here pro Bitcoin?
(....)
If ever I will own Ripple (XRP), maybe it's because I am trading, like on my technical analysis, I saw some bullish pattern or signal. But owning Ripple (XRP) just like owning Bitcoin for long term, I rather not to do it. I will always choose Bitcoin over Ripple (XRP).
1130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Futures trading and spots trading explained briefly on: May 13, 2023, 11:57:56 AM
This is where spots trading comes in. Spots trading is a shorter version of futures trading. It involves short time immediate buying or selling of which it features of trading are scalping, day trading and swing.
(....)
You can do these also on the futures market, like scalping, day trading, or swinging.  These are all possible on the futures market. I think if you only use 1x leverage long, then it's better just to do spot trading. But if you want to short the market, then go for the futures market.
1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still do business with them? on: May 13, 2023, 11:09:11 AM
I know that many other centralized exchanges may declare bankruptcy - but let's ignore this for a moment and assume that these companies gets back in business would you patronize them? Would you still do business with them? I know the whole talk of move your bitcoin off centralized exchanges but we cannot denial the fact they that they still play an important role in the crypto community.
(.....)
I remember before when I just starting to explore cryptocurrency, Bittrex is one of the many exchanges I am using, it's just sad to hear this.
For me, it's all good as long as they are transparent to their customers and all funds are still accessible and users can still withdraw them. This is somehow difference on what happened on FTX Exchange.
1132  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin: The Future of Digital Currency on: May 13, 2023, 11:05:51 AM
3.Anonymity: Bitcoin transactions are anonymous, this means that that customers can send and receive Bitcoin without revealing their identification. This has made Bitcoin famous among those who value privacy.
(.....)
This is one of the many features that Bitcoin has that I really appreciate and amaze. Because just think about you can make a payment for someone without any other people knowing that it's you, same with your recipient. Users can avoid being targeted by hackers and guard against asset theft without disclosing any personal information.
1133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding the Basics of Trading in the Cryptocurrency Market on: May 12, 2023, 03:43:34 AM
4. Keep Track of Your Investments: It is important to keep track of your investments in the cryptocurrency market. You can use a spreadsheet or a cryptocurrency tracking app to keep track of your trades and investments.
I am very agree with this and I want this to become a lesson for every trader, especially the new ones because it enables you to keep track of your gains and losses, assess your trading approach, and pinpoint areas for development.
There are a lot of software now to use how to track your investments/trades, like sheets or any platform free or paid. Be consistent with your record-keeping.
1134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading constitution. on: May 12, 2023, 03:37:43 AM
- you can't be disciplined without a profitable system.

- you can't win without a profitable trading system.
(....)
I agree with this because most of the new traders who are starting out are not properly learning the cores or the basics before they start trading.
This is required proper risk management which will help you to have profitable system, by this way, it will help to protect or preserve your capital and maximize profits.
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zksync ERA is here on: May 12, 2023, 03:33:47 AM
Any updates now on Zksync ERA, I think the hype was already done to these new layer-2 networks after Arbitrum did an airdrop to its community, Zksync started to grow and gained a lot of users because a lot of people expecting an airdrop to this network but then again it seems the hype is already done about these layer 2 networks due to because of new trends like meme coins, lol.
1136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical indicators vs the News on: May 11, 2023, 03:27:10 AM
(.....)
I love technical analysis because it gives you historical data/overview of what a particular asset has done in the past, while fundamentals are base on current news events happenings.
If you are a trader, for sure you must rely more on technical analysis.
For me, if you rely on the news, I think it's better to just use it as a "second opinion" from your technical analysis because, for me, the chart says it all, you just need it to analyze like checking the candlesticks, candlesticks pattern.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: May 11, 2023, 03:19:15 AM
One such option has come again in safemoon. The coin has pumped more than 100% when they reduced fees from 10% to 1%. Now new investors are rushing to invest in this coin.
(....)
The best example of pump and dump. I am not really against this because there are some people who are making a ton of money here, some are lucky and some are also in bad luck because they lost a lot of money in just a short period of time.
These people who are thinking about the "easy money" or "quick rich" scheme, are sometimes lucky because if they are luck enough to make money then on the opposite side they are also bad luck to lose money. High risk, high reward.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs last forever? on: May 11, 2023, 03:16:12 AM
(...)
So, what's the point of investing in NFTs if they can disappear in an instant? Unless all of the content is stored on the Blockchain itself, I don't see how NFTs will be able to last forever. Are there already solutions in the works that I'm not aware of? Please enlighten me on this. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
If we want to talk about the trend, maybe the trend will always change like what's the current hype now, we saw before the peak of NFT which always have its peak and low, that's how the trend works.
But if we want to talk about NFT itself that they are intended for permanent, immutable blockchain storage. As long as blockchain lives, NFT will be there also.
The lifespan of an NFT can be affected by a number of variables, including the durability of the blockchain, how the NFT is stored and maintained, and the state of the digital asset it stands for.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of war on bitcoin on: May 11, 2023, 02:45:56 AM
Different countries issues is the reason why bitcoin is suffering price loss, when countries are not at peace with others, the whole nations suffered economic crisis,
(....)
For me, with or without war, Bitcoin is always a good use case for all geopolitical issues. Just think of an asset that no one can control and you can use it on most of the countries.
Bitcoin has the potential to be flexible in the face of geopolitical turmoil as a decentralized, global digital asset.
1140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The purchase Bitcoin during its early stages. on: May 10, 2023, 01:21:18 AM
What is the riskiest or most unconventional action you have taken in order to purchase Bitcoin during its early stages, despite the lack of guarantees or promises that it would appreciate in value?
This is difficult because early adopters of Bitcoin took significant risks to obtain Bitcoin because it was risky and no one will know what will be the future of Bitcoin. Only a few people before using Bitcoin and no one expecting the price of Bitcoin right now versus before.
Since me, I was only introduced to Bitcoin around the year 2017, I can say that the riskiest action I did to purchase Bitcoin is to use my life savings or hard-earned money to buy Bitcoin.
