141  Economy / Goods / Re: Moving to China This Summer...Anybody Want Anything? on: April 16, 2014, 05:47:00 AM
Also I'll be selling some stuff (some things on here for BTC) to fund the move. I have coins, gold, silver and more. So keep an eye out for those listings!
142  Economy / Goods / Moving to China This Summer...Anybody Want Anything? on: April 16, 2014, 05:43:09 AM
So I'm moving to China this summer for work. I'll also be traveling to Vietnam, Thailand, Korea and more throughout SE Asia. SE Asia is the land of cheap [cool] stuff so I figured you guys might be interested. Of course I'll have a better idea of what's available when I'm there, but its China...(think fake designer stuff lol). Shipping from China internationally is very cheap, too. So I'm kind of just putting this out there to gauge interest. Let me know!

metals are risky- a new technology could find a way to turn coal into gold or silver and value would plummet overnight.

I know bitcoin is risky too but hopefully you sold to someone who believes in bitcoin and will use it for good.
lmao
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm Out on: April 03, 2014, 02:13:26 AM
You bought them at 5$, currently valued at +400$, and you get out? Come on.
I cashed out most of my coins the day after the price was $1200. Since then I've held on to what I've had, selling some of them but spending most-and even trading for some on here. Today was just the day my account reached 0.00. Like I said though, I'm keeping my eyes on BTC...
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What actually happened between squall and dank? on: April 02, 2014, 11:41:14 PM
I may be a little bit late to to the party but,

What actually happened between squall and dank?
Dank scammed him for a bunch of coins. Then he died and was reborn or something. Then he opened a hookah lounge.
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm Out on: April 02, 2014, 11:35:04 PM
For the first time since I bought my first bitcoins at about $5/ea, I don't own any. With the IRS decision, its obvious [immediate] effects and the slight dip in the price of silver, I headed over to Amagi and spent it all on junk silver (90%). It feels weird to "be out of the game" as far as owning bitcoins goes. Did I make the right decision? Has the ship sailed? Or does anybody think now is the perfect time to hop back on it?
I think you're a weak hand, and you do the global community a disservice by spreading your fear and cowardice here.

lol
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm Out on: April 02, 2014, 09:30:57 PM
@lemfuture: Silver has no use for you? Your cell phone, computer, etc. might disagree. So will the increasing number of people turning to silver for a hedge against inflation.

and @zolace: seriously? Who views the current value of an investment as merely its seed? That is literally irrational. If you make a billion dollars off an investment you put $5 into would you view it/its subsequent value and risk involved in terms of that $5? Keep thinking/investing like that, big boy lol.
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm Out on: April 02, 2014, 08:08:14 PM
I like the discussion going on here. I just wanted to add that I cashed most of my coins out the day AFTER (kicking myself for missing it) bitcoins reached $1200-turns out that was a good decision. Although, I still held a fair amount of coins-primarily Casascius, which I've since sold-with the attitude "I'll just see what happens". So this wasn't just a snap decision. At the same time, I don't like not owning any coins-not just from a financial standpoint, but the principle of it (I "believe" in bitcoins). So, I'll probably buy a coin just to stay in the game. And I'm not taking my eyes off bitcoins-if I feel the stars align and its time to get back in, I won't hesitate.

Those stars have aligned since  the 2009 whitepaper.

Would you like to me lend you a telescope to take a look?

 Cheesy

No telescope necessary. Everyone has their own idea on the future of bitcoins-and some of those are good ideas, backed by evidence. But the bottom line is that bitcoins are a FUNDAMENTALLY new "thing". Speculating on their future is, to an extent, just that.

Hey everybody,
I'm starting to offload some of my silver bullion and numismatic coin collection. I'm going to use this as my main thread-I'll be updating constantly with more items (too lazy to take pictures/list them all right now LOL). But my bullion AND coin collection is quite extensive...so if there's anything you're interested in please feel free to shoot me a PM...odds are I'll have it! Also, check out the links below for some listings I've already made; some NORFED stuff (now taking offers for individual items), and some graded/slabbed numismatic coins. All prices include trackable shipping anywhere in the US. I will ship internationally-just get in touch with me.  Please post or PM if interested.

156  Economy / Goods / *CUSTOM* Chrome Bitcoin License Plate Frame on: March 26, 2014, 07:39:42 PM
Hey everybody,
A while ago I wanted to get a Bitcoin license plate frame. Everything that was available I thought looked tacky/wasn't my style. SO, I custom-designed one on some license plate frame website. Its literally one of a kind! Its shiny chrome with crisp letters/imaging (the picture doesn't quite do it justice). The only reason I'm selling it is because I replaced it with a frame from my recent alma-mater  Wink

I'll let it go for $15 (including trackable shipping anywhere in USA)-use preev.com as converter. I paid more than this and the thing is literally in the condition it was when I bought it (it wasn't on my car for long).

PM me if interested.

Thanks!

158  Economy / Goods / Re: Numismatic / Graded and Slabbed (PCGS, NGC) US Coins on: March 26, 2014, 07:16:06 PM
Mmmm love that Morgan dollar. The best looking coin ever made.
its yours lol

gonna have to do some reading about what coins are best for a newb collector but I have a feeling we will be doing business in the future as I have seen you around the forum and I like what offers I've seen in the past.
Awesome-sounds good. I'm a collector (obviously). Morgans are the most collectible US coin...and 1880's San Francisco strikes are always a solid choice. Bust coins are really popular but a bit more expensive-but they're my favorite, they're "Wild West" coins.

If you're interested in cheaper (non graded/slabbed) coins, let me know. I have it all-everything US and a pretty extensive world collection. Of course values range (from <$10 up). If you want any advice too I'm happy to give it to you-as a fellow coin collector, not just a salesman  Wink

Thanks!
159  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Sperm on: March 26, 2014, 07:08:47 PM
Sperm bank would pay you more.

Well better put my price up then. Now I am asking 0.25.
Wish we would have sperm bank in my country that would pay us..you just go there fap and you get the money?

Sort of, in order to donate sperm there are a ton of tests that you have to take. First to make sure you are free of STDs, then you are tested for diseases and chronic illnesses, any genetic traits that could be passed along to the baby, and you are also evaluated based in IQ/your job. They aren't going to take sperm from Cletus the high school dropout with an IQ of 89. They will take it from the 6 foot tall Fabrisio who is a doctor with an IQ of 140 and no family history of health conditions.

No I have not donated sperm, but it was one of my topics in an ethics class.
Its true...statistically its easier to get into Harvard than to be chosen as a paid sperm donator. And no, I am not and have never been one  Undecided
