let's try to build up a good forum at http://BitForum.orgthis forum here sucks .. i cant even respond to threads anywhere but here. What is the point? I read a thread I'm interested in, and I can't respond. And I have 4hrs+ and more than 5 posts. LAME! So I should learn Russian so I can read the few posts that exist on there? Good luck building another BTC forum that can compete with this one. I really do wish you luck, it'd be nice to have multiple forums. Also, if you are here for legit reasons (questionable), the n00b restrictions are quite minimal. Also, ever heard of whitelist?

Say you have a bitcoin bill, loaded with one bitcoin, with the address and key exposed. You redeem the private key on MtGox, and the balance of the bill is added to your account. Now, I know all a physical bill essentially is is a bitcoin address. Therefore, after you redeem the bitcoin loaded onto it, you could reload it by sending to the bill's address.
But is this smart? I typically redeem my physical coins on MtGox, although I know you can do it via blockchain and maybe even more ways. Once I redeem a private key on MtGox, and then I reload the physical bill, is it essentially the same thing as just having the coin in my MtGox wallet. Either way, MtGox has my key. So then it should be safe to reload physical...whatever, right?

What are you asking for each version?
I think I want to keep the 2012's (although everything has its price). But the others are 1.5BTC/ea -including shipping +case: ) I'd trade for gold or maybe silver. Anyway, please PM me if you are even slightly interested-we could work something out.

Yeah, bitcoin is well on its way to mainstream acceptance...In fact, I was going to buy gas, groceries, rent, car payment, any basic neccesity of life, drugs, porn, and trinkets with my BTC today! I guess, I'll just hold onto them though, because the price can only go up,uP,UP! Dont fool yourself, this price is only justified by rampant speculation, not because metart or whoever decided to accept BTC. +1 cause you made me laugh, not getting into speculation debates

$1000 to pick up something? for that money, you can get round trip airfare.
This. OP and this offer seems very...sketchy. What kind of service are you actually offering? Elaborate.

As a rule of thumb, NEVER pay for escrow services. Tipping someone doing it voluntarily is something different. If someone wants to be paid (usually a small amount), don't you think they'd be happy to take your "escrowed" funds as an additional form of "payment"? I say escrow ONLY w/mods or users with an extensive blemish free-trade history. I've posted somewhere else, but I will volunteer my escrow services. Do your due-diligence on me before you take me up on it though

Hey everybody, I'm trying to build up a collection of Casascius coins (already have some 5's). I am interested in buying your used/redeemed Casascius coin. I'm interested in any denomination, any Series/Year. Please do not quote me some outrageous price (I have gotten some in the past). Remember, these are spent coins-their only value lies in their "collectability", which there is not a huge market for, except apparently if its a Series 1 Coin (still don't know why those go for so much). So, why not make some BTC off something that otherwise wouldn't have any value. Shoot me a PM. Thanks!

What are you even offering here? And why does it cost 9BTC? And what about having sex with my wife?

Bitcoins are not quite at the price of 1/10oz Gold Coins, but they're very close (especially considering gold is down). A Casascius coin, though, is reasonably valued at or above a 1/10oz gold coin. I want to trade, 1 for 1, a Casascius Physical 1 BTC for a 1/10 oz Gold Coin. I would like to see pictures. And, I do not plan to get rid of all my Casascius coins, just a couple if I could lock in a couple solid deals. Thanks screen shot in windows

I think its pretty important to see pictures of the actual coins and not just stock pictures of the coins. The Walking Liberties you have listed aren't key dates, but they might have some numismatic if they're in really good condition.

If anyone has a 5 BTC Casascius coin and would be interested in trading for 3 x 1 BTC Casascius coins and some [to be determined] amount of BTC (electronic), let me know!

Good case, are they sold online? I sell them

Hi everybody, Recently I decided I wanted to represent for Bitcoins on my car-but in a classy way. So, I thought of a license plate frame. All of the ones I found when I was looking for one were either too cheap (plastic), or just didn't look like what I wanted. So, I found a site that allowed you to design your own frame. I picked one of the chrome designs (most expensive option-$30+tax and shipping) and designed my own. There it is in the picture below. I was extremely happy with it, and have had it on my car for about 2 weeks. I just graduated school, though, and one of my gifts was a license plate frame that said "Alumni" with my alma matter on the bottom. Being proud of myself, I've decided to switch them out and keep that one on there. So, hopefully someone else will like this one and represent bitcoins with it. I am asking for it, which includes Priority shipping inside the US (this weighs more than a pound). I think that price is more than fair considering I paid literally almost double it. If interested, please send me a PM. I would be interested in trades if you have something cool-don't be afraid to PM me. Thanks! take screen shot

I wanted some community input on this just for fun:
I'm at a point where I have a 1/2oz silver coin die done that says 5 BITCOINS. But 5 BTC is now worth a hell of a lot more than it was when I started.
I almost want to start over and do 1oz=1BTC 1/2oz=1/2BTC and a smaller coin for 0.1 BTC... all in silver, and offer each (at least the biggest one or two) with the optional gold plated B like I did last time.
Do I run some coins with the 5 BITCOINS die, or just scrap it? It will seem kind of weird having a 5 and a 0.5 BTC coin that are, well, alike in every way, including the year 2013, and I'm tempted to just scrap the die.
Sounds like a great idea.
