I've been mining on adcoins main pool for a few hours with a 5 gpu rig to see how that goes. Haven't seen any coins come into my wallet yet though...

Yeah 2500 is pricey. I like what Siacoin is as a project, and understand why they are going down the ASIC path, but it does obviously impact the average gpu miner.

However if their core storage functions become user friendly then losing your average gpu miner won't really matter to the future of Sia.

Any suggested miner for this coin for NVidia cards? ccminer? Not many miners on the pools - if you have suggested miners with links etc might encourage people to take it up

I like Exodus for useability, you can have a few other coins on there as well (including ones you might dual mine, like decred etc).

Yeah I'm a big fan of Sia. Too many new coins are vague in what they want to do, or leave it to the 'community' to decide on future direction. I like that Sia knows what they would like to achieve.

Really interesting. Is there anymore information on the 'proof of importance' mechanism? Not sure I've seen something like it before, is it something you've created from scratch or built on from somewhere else?

Not sure I understand it entirely but the proof of importance is used to reward creators of content who receive the most citations etc.

Interesting article it was so odd to see how listing on an additional exchange would result in such massive drops! Makes you think about some of the ICOs Binance are pushing, and how many people are buying for hopes of quick gains vs believing in the product.

Regular signatum isn't that popular right now, so why is a fork being pushed? Is it just to increase the POW mining period? Is this part of the falling out between the original group doing signatum? Not sure about this.

I know forks have got rid of the 20 per cent founders amount on zcash. But what is, for example, the main benefits/differences between zencash and zero? What will get non-miners interested in the coin?

I've noticed the mining pools essentially follow the same movements as the price (at least on supernova). At 7 cents the pool had over 7000 miners, at 5 cents about 5000. I guess it makes sense for immediate gains but you would think if people thought it would go back up shortly they'd be sticking it out with the mining.

There was recently another coin (Sojourn coin) released within the last week looking at getting into hotel booking too. What's are the differences with this coin?
