1421  Local / India / Re: How many have Ethereum on their prorfolio? on: June 23, 2023, 12:49:36 PM
There may be a lot of Indian cryptocurrency community members who have invested heavily either in Ethereum or in its ecosystem. I had once read that the Ethereum ecosystem is many times bigger than the Ethereum market cap. I have some coins from the Ethereum ecosystem and some Ethereum as fuel. I am confident that many from the Bitcoin Indian community have invested heavily in Ethereum, and some might be profiting from the ecosystem.

I believe Bitcoin would be the biggest percentage wise in the portfolio of most of us. We are here because we love Bitcoin and want to earn more Bitcoin. Some of us might have invested, before 2017 when Bitcoin was dirt cheap and some of us might be still in accumulation mode regardless of its price. In 2023 it is just like how our families in the past would accumulate gold for the worst time.  Although, gold gets more preference than Bitcoin in India because of the negative environment created by the government and due to a lack of knowledge. I feel with the next bull run the mindset of an average Indian belonging to the middle class and the upper class would change drastically.
1422  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: June 23, 2023, 10:45:28 AM
Well, you are absolutely right about that, it is very easy to enter a casino based on cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin, because it is more reliable, it has superior security, we are not taking risks on the street, nobody sees us, those are things that They can be seen as a great advantage, but personally when it comes to the app I am somewhat distrustful, it is very easy for data to leak, hackers are on the prowl, also if you do not download the app that it is, you can download a fake app And that is worse, then it is delicate on that side, although there is someone who is doing very well.
Don't worry, if you worried of data or privacy leak, you shouldn't gamble on the casino where it ask you to submit your KYC. Or if you're really want to gamble on licensed casino due to various games you want to play, you should never submit KYC even though you're need to accept to lose all of your money.

Well you don't have to download gambling app since you can access and gamble through their sites.

You are always at a high risk of losing your money when you gamble. Comparing that risk with data theft doesn't make any sense. Bitcoin casino and online casinos popularity rose in the pandemic period. At that same time scammers started entering these casinos. To stop them a lost of casinos updated their TOC with KYC requirement. Indo understand your concern but that sounds foolish when you are gambling which is a risky game.
1423  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about casino, sports bet on: June 23, 2023, 09:55:32 AM
Why do you need an android app for Gambling. Most online casinos have mobile friendly platforms. You can visit any of these websites using your mobile browser and can start playing. You won't find any Android app for gambling as it is banned by Google. To find a crypto casino, you can visit the main gambling board and you will find multiple ANN thread of these casinos. Go through those thread and choose anyone you like.

I tried to open the image link and I can attest that it is a very nice way to earn. But what I don't understand is that you make it look as if you didn't work much for this but obviously you did. This kind of ref bonus cannot just come like that and also it seems there are some kinds of contradictions about your 15yrs efforts and correlating it with the 1 year you later said.
But be it as it may, it will not as easy as you have said but then I know people earn much with referrals.

You right the amount that are reflecting doesn't come from just sharing the affiliate link. It needs a lot of work just to get $50 from affiliate marketing. I have seen bloggers and influencers minting money through affiliate marketing but a lot of hard work and years of dedication is required. That is why I has said earlier on this thread a single marketer cannot make money through gambling affiliate. You would need to become a professional in making that work.

1426  Local / India / Re: what do you think about pi? on: June 22, 2023, 10:08:18 AM
@elevates technology is changing rapidly. There was a time when everyone thought mobile mining is a scam. This is the era of AI and in this era I disagree with your point that mobile mining would destroy the hardware of your mobile phone.

I still think that pi network is not a project worthy to invest your time. If this project is a success then you will be seeing a lot of new projects coming up with the same concept. As usual a lot free loaders will join them.

1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: June 22, 2023, 09:34:51 AM
Thanks for the intresting suggestion. I personally think having one account on one casino and developing it is more practical rather running your activities on multiple casinos. The amount that you had wagered on three casino, if spent on a single one would have given you more benefits and perks. What you did in earning $16 could have ended with $0. You did paid the $1 withdrawal fee so actually you would have ended with a negative balance. I may be wrong here as I only play for enjoyment, haven't thought about VIP perks till now.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: June 22, 2023, 09:22:00 AM

as strange as it may seem, when people get into the business of earning money with referrals they don't put the earnings they get with their referrals to play at the casino, that's because people have already realized that they won't get much profit, if you look at the guys from the youtube or twitch channels they keep talking about gambling, they get a lot of referrals, they even show that they play in the casinos, but in fact many of them don't play much with their pocket money, what they are doing is simply disclosing casinos and show people the steps to create an account and how to deposit, play and withdraw

but those guys who have been getting a lot of referrals don't spend all their money at the casino, they have experience and they know that gambling is not profitable, that's why they are in the business of referrals which is one of the few ways to make a profit with gambling, there are only 4 ways to profit from gambling which are: owning the casino, being a casino employee, getting referrals or being sponsored by the casino. Apart from these 4 options I don't see any other options, you can search this and you will reach the same conclusion I reached, of course there are some very lucky guys who buy a lottery ticket for 1$ and win millions of dollars

That not completely true! I agree some of these influencers are only into gambling because of the referral bonus. There are others who use that referral bonus to gamble not the full amount but a part of it as YouTube doesn't monetize gambling contents. The referral percentage in gambling is also big as compared to other affiliate marketing revenue. That is another reason we see a lot influencers either promoting a online casino or have dedicated channel towards gambling.
1430  Economy / Services / Re: Utopia P2P Ecosystem 💎 | Review Campaign 🔎| Participate Now! | Get paid in BTC on: June 22, 2023, 06:14:07 AM
My Desktop Review of Utopia P2P Ecosystem

I have installed the desktop application on my Windows 10 laptop. I did not face any problems while installing the application. I disabled the windows defender before the installation. I guess that is why the installation went so smoothly. What I found interesting is that no registration was needed to access the platform. A welcome screen popped up as soon as I was on the platform.

The welcome page gives a brief tour of the functionality and important benefits of the platform. It also displays the Public key which is my address in the network. Later on, I found out that you can find it in your profile too. After going through the welcome page the first thing I did was to change the UI theme to Dark. After changing the theme it felt soothing to my eyes. The dark theme made the UI more impressive than the Light theme.

Next, I went to my profile and changed my Avatar, added my mood message, and updated my nickname. I also wanted to create my uNS name but unfortunately, I did not have 10 CRP. Next, I went to the chat lobby and I found out that the team will be launching U Music soon. This will be another great addition to the platform.

What did I like most?

uNS (Utopia Name System): I was not able to create my own uNS as there was a cost attached to it. I wanted to know why the team was charging for it. While going through the faq I found out that it is the decentralized version of DNS that runs within their ecosystem. After going through the faq I felt this feature is one of the best UPS of the ecosystem.

Suggestions:

uMail: At the moment it is restricted to emails within the ecosystem. The team should enable mail to and from other mail services. The process of sending mail is tiresome as the sender needs to first add the public key of the receiver in order to send mail.

Crytpon Exchange: I felt that the team should come up with features to enable buying CRP on their platform using local fiat or other cryptocurrencies. At the moment we still have to go to third-party exchanges to make that purchase.

Overall my experience with the ecosystem was great. What makes it phenomenal is its ability to integrate so many different things into one screen. To make it more trustworthy the team should make the source code open. Hoping the team discloses some parts of their code as they mentioned in the faq in the future.

1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: June 21, 2023, 06:52:16 AM

The question is, what happened next? Did you withdraw the money and spend it on something useful, or you just left your winnings there to play more? Don't get me wrong, I think both options are acceptable as long as you are responsible gambler.

I am sure that money was never withdrawn and was again used to get a desired outcome. Almost all the time our greed takes over our common sense. That why we lose whatever we win and then curse our luck. When you are lucky you don't utilize that opportunity, when you run out of luck you continue to believe you are lucky, that is the life of a gambler.

1433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock and Fidelity both apply for bitcoin ETFs on: June 21, 2023, 06:44:40 AM
This might sound like conspiracy, but this is what I feel about this news. The government and the SEC want to control the flow of Bitcoin and this is the strategy that they came out with. Through these ETFs both these companies would try to wipe out exchanges from the US. As of now, the government is unable to track transactions happening between Exchanges and wallets. After the ETFS of both these companies is approved the government would compel its citizens to invest in Bitcoin through the ETF, for that they need to fill in all the details on a paper. Through those papers, they would be able to track Bitcoin and gain control over it.

To support my theory that exchanges would shut shop in the US. I would like to ask why SEC is backing up the Prometheum exchange. I had never heard of this exchange in the past. I came across this name 4 days back when I read this article. Everything about this exchange looks suspicious is grows more when SEC is backing it.

As suspected first fidelity files for ETF and now it is part of a new exchange. SEC playing it game behind this big announcement. My conspiracy theory is no more a conspiracy now. It is gradually becoming a reality and it won't be much longer when everything gets revealed on main stream media.

1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: June 21, 2023, 05:34:48 AM
How does that work?, the more money you bet the higher the chances?, what if you bet a million?, you'll win guaranteed?

Of course you get paid more if you bet more, but how are the chances of winning higher when you bet more?

In skill based gambling with a good strategy and knowledge the chance of winning is good. I was referring to poker or sports betting. I was not referring to luck based gambling like slots, roulette and etc. Although there no guarantee that with gambling you will still be able to earn $100 daily. @len01 I hope this reply answers your query.
1435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: June 20, 2023, 09:20:06 AM
I think you can make $100 every day in a casino if your daily deposit is $200. Otherwise, it is impossible to win money regularly and consistently in casinos. If it were possible, this kind of business wouldn't exist. Perhaps there are some forks of gambling where with a certain strategy you can make regular profits, for example from betting on sports or playing poker. But casinos rule out the possibility of making money on a regular basis.

To get $100 every day a minimum deposit of $500 or more is required. You cannot bet $200 and get $100, it is not that simple. The bigger the budget the higer are the chances. Above all you need a strategy everytime you are in the online casino. Without any strategy the chance of win is basically null. A lot of patience and discipline is needed in your lifestyle. Professional gamblers do make money, the sacrifice they do to get that amount is not possible for everyone.
1436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the steps in understanding technical analysis? on: June 20, 2023, 05:55:59 AM
I am not trying to discourage you in any way with this reply. Becoming a cryptocurrency trader is not as easy as you think. Apart from technical analysis, you need a few more skills to succeed in trading. I am going to list them down and I hope you work on them before venturing into trading.

  • Risk Management - Managing Risk requires some basic skills like how to use stop loss, position sizing and always maintaining a disciplined approach.
  • Fundamental Analysis - Tacking news, regulatory changes, and technological developments fall under it.
  • Patience - You would need a lot of patience. Controlling your emotion is very compulsory otherwise you might take a wrong decision.
  • Financial Management - You will need to work on budgeting, profit/loss calculation, and risk allocation

1439  Local / India / Re: what do you think about pi? on: June 20, 2023, 02:02:55 AM
Avoid Pi token at all costs. It's a huge scam. I have said it earlier and will say it again. Just ask yourself a question -

If a coin can be mined through your smartphone for free, why would someone buy that token from exchanges by paying money? Wouldn't they just mine it from their own smartphone?

Pi token is essentially a KYC scam. The scale is much larger than any other previous KYC scams you have seen.

From 2019 till now they have been able to maintain the hype of this project. That is really smart marketing strategy, the demand of this token to be added on a big exchange is now getting good traction. I recently saw few users on Binance telegram channel asking them to list it. If this is a scam and if  pi gets listed on a prominent exchange then it will become one of the biggest KYC scam.
1440  Local / India / Re: what do you think about pi? on: June 19, 2023, 09:54:45 AM
snip

no offence.

i think they are stealing identity or something like that, and why anyone wants to give money(a lot of money, indirectly) for free,

I do agree they might be using thier platform to steal the KYC data but why? They have such a big following and they can easily make million after the lauch. I don't think that is their primary objective. As I have said earlier if they are forcing their user to pass KYC then I would stay away from such project. Do your own due investigation before being part of their project.
