1. I'm trying to get an MSI Z87-G45 mb running Win8.1 to mine with 7 cards but it only mines with 5.  Windows Device Manager recognizes all 7 cards.  Any ideas on how I can get cards 6 and 7 to mine  Huh

Use Linux, Windows doesn't support 7 GPUs.
1443  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [UK GROUP BUY] ASICminer Cube group buy #9 on: December 16, 2013, 11:18:01 AM

Before simply replacing the fuses. can anyone help with the following ...
1.   What is the correct rating for the fuses when a cube is overclocked?
2.   Should the green plastic melt?   (rather than the fuse simply pop!)
3.   As I can't find a fuse rated above 30 Amp do I have to stop overclocking?
4.   Am I missing something important?

1. Should be OK at 30A
2. I've seen it, it's not ideal though for obvious reasons.
3. They're normal automotive fuses, so are available up to 40A.  Green is 30A, Blue-Green is 35A, Orange is 40A.  Anything above 40A you go to Maxi fuses, which won't fit the Cube.
4. Nope. Smiley
1444  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What Mining internet access is needed? on: December 16, 2013, 11:06:13 AM
If you're REALLY concerned about it, why not use a router that can take a 3G dongle?  My old Asus can take a 3G dongle, which it'll use if the ADSL goes down.  Just put in a PAYG SIM, job done.
1445  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Raspberry Pi with Minepeon problems on: December 16, 2013, 11:03:51 AM
You've two different interfaces, which I don't think will work with MinePeon, because you'd have to do some routing on the Pi.

You'd need a wireless access point connected to the switch to give everything on the switch internet access.
1446  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: bfgminer+ asic blade on: December 15, 2013, 07:33:02 PM

Password to be set for the blade but it is password of the PC running the software this?

The password doesn't matter, there just needs to be one.  The username is also unimportant, as long as it is unique.

Additions and consolidations

Maybe the next addition should be a vacuum cleaner?

That's pretty much impossible.  That's like trying to plug a graphics card in to a Nintendo GameBoy and expecting to be able to play Wii games.

You keep them sitting next to your window? Where do you live?

On the 1st floor by the look of it.

Well then luck must be really bad right now.

No, YOUR luck is really bad.  It's YOUR variance.  It's nothing to do with the pool.
1453  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Blue Fury Miners V2 2.6Gh/s on: December 14, 2013, 03:40:24 PM
The Blue Fury run had many issues caused by fab

I'm guessing the same fab that:

1. Ran out of components
2. Is now making the NanoFury.
3. Fitted totally and utterly inadequate heat sinks to the BlueFury

I can't say my confidence is inspired.

That's a very new Intel NIC - linux drivers don't really exist for it yet.  Try a USB NIC or wifo dongle.

Turn off/uninstall your antivirus.

If/when they arrive, mine are going straight on to Fleabay.  Along with the BlueFury.
1458  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: cgminer with mixed graphics cards? on: December 14, 2013, 12:50:34 PM
What drivers?  What OS?

I think you might struggle to get a legacy card like a HD5xxx working with a new R9.
1459  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Blue Fury Miners V2 2.6Gh/s on: December 14, 2013, 12:48:23 PM
My associate has informed me that replacements will be sent out next week and you will be provided with extra compensation.

It's a little late (read a month), and I hope the compensation is enough to cover what these things would have mined if they had have worked in the first place.

Now, none of the stats show up (all say 0 G Hash/s/ 0 balance etc), although my miner is working fine.  I also seem to get a payout (by transfer not mined) every couple of hours (obviously much lower amount).

This makes no sense at all.  Stats have been working fine for me for months.  Huh

Hi there!

I'm also mining through Eligius pool...
Is that pool hacked? My miners are working pretty well (20GH/s), but on the stats menu there's 0GH/s... I restarted the stratum proxy, and the stats looked good for half an hour and now again dropping to 0GH/s (although my miners are working).

Help?

Stats are still working fine for me.  Why do you think it's hacked?

 Huh
