1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's the best/cheapest in-wallet exchange? on: February 06, 2022, 11:28:17 PM

Some wallets like Atomic Wallet, Exodus and even Ledger Live have an exchange/swap option these days where you can swap your coins into different ones.
I haven’t much experience for that wallet. But i using metamusk. I think it is aslo a best crypto wallet. and if you want to use wallet for your Android or ios smartphone. Then Trust Wallet is best and easy to use multi chain and use blockchain DApp.
I used this wallet sometimes and yes, it is recommendable to those who want to have an instant swap of coins.  But remember the fees are much higher on the exchange which is most reliable if you want swapping coins.

Use an exchange if you want to trade your coins and if you were done, use a noncustodial wallet to store your coins.
If you are occasionally swapping coins on your wallet, the fees will kill you, and knowing that you are paying those fees then using a reliable exchange.
Suggestion and the link above that were shared was very useful, just have dig research and find your own solution.
1442  Other / Meta / Re: how to remove negative Trust??🤔 on: February 03, 2022, 03:39:46 PM
Sir, I have made a mistake.  Please give me a chance in life.  Please pick up the red tust.🙏🙏🙏🙏😭😭🙏🙏please sir🙏🙏🙏😭😭🙏🙏
The damage has been already done and you have been cheated.
You should know from the start that cheating isn't allowed here by using multiple accounts, this is now the consequence.  There's nothing we can do to remove the tag under your profile if the one who tagged you will not give a chance.  Do something convincing that will change her/his mind to change it into a neutral tag and promise not to do it again.  If it will not, just move on and find a real job, this forum is for the discussion and sharing knowledge about bitcoin and blockchain, isn't the sole purpose of making money or even spamming the bounty section.
1443  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How hackers target large fund? on: February 03, 2022, 03:18:51 PM
Is there a specific means that hackers use to know the wallet that has much coins in it and begin to target it.
Of course, there's a possibility that the hacker knows which wallet has a huge amount of Bitcoin because Bitcoin transaction on the blockchain is in public.  It's publicly disclose to anyone every transaction that can be done over the blockchain network but the problem is surely the hacker didn't know from who or where it comes from.  But yes, a hot wallet could be vulnerable to hacks if you always expose this from any transaction like using this on phishing exchange or any platform that could be used as a fraud.

Secure first your privacy and you always be fine, don't worry if you have control over your key, that is the most important to avoid hackers and always remember the golden rule.  "Not your key, not your coin".
1444  Other / Meta / Re: Some info about spammer warning... on: February 03, 2022, 02:52:50 PM
You must be alarmed seeing your profile there are more than 50+ deleted posts by the moderators and upon having quick research on your profile, you have 387 deleted posts based on bpip.org.  It's alarming and maybe starting from now avoid spamming.

If you read this,
Campaign Participants:

Staff do not want to hand out bans for unconstructive posts but if we feel that you as a user are continually making very poor or unsubstantial posts due to your paid signature the following bans will be issued:

First offence: 7 days
Second offence: 14 days
Third offence: 30 days
Fourth: Permanent ban
It's until a fourth offense and I think 1 to 2 offenses have made sense to warn you.  Maybe only moderators have known this feature and AFAIK, I didn't read it here how to determine how many offenses you currently have before the permaban will occur.  Let's just wait if mods will disclose this matter.
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities Embracing bitcoin because of Divorce? on: February 01, 2022, 11:59:42 PM
We can't blame them if they will hide their wealth on Bitcoin before getting a divorce because everything will be split, or dividing property when they are separated.
I never heard such stories in my country because there's not yet a divorce approve here.

I have never experienced this but I think this belongs to cheating if someone hides their assets to Bitcoin.
1446  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paper wallet: A poor practice and risky on: February 01, 2022, 11:45:51 PM
No, for newbies who still didn't understand how to secure a wallet or any wallets, I don't recommend a paper wallet, it's very crucial for them to use especially for those who wanted to give it a try.  So, I tend to agree with those comments above, it's a risky part to use paper wallets for newbies.

I prefer to use an air-gapped wallet particularly with the high-end device which you can use to install the Electrum wallet app that didn't connect to the internet and it's free but if you can afford it, no doubt hardware wallet is the best ever.
1447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tradig Course - Beginner on: February 01, 2022, 11:04:20 PM
Based on many lists of trading courses, Udemy has been number there that you should use, and according to this blog it has required payments and I think that's fine because it's presumable paid services than the free.

There are too many trading courses out there that you can choose from and I prefer the paid service compared to the free one which costs under $100 amount.
Just visit the link above for further information and a comparison of the trading courses.
1448  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: January 31, 2022, 11:58:16 PM
Is it a good time to buy now? It looks like the bears have subsided. 30k resistance point is still holding strong. What do you guys think?
This is the umpteenth time I've read about a topic like this.  Cheesy
Well, let's see how many people will also again ask this question when the price has been rising up in the future or even when the price backs to drop again.
What I see also is about many people will be buying bitcoin when the price is going to rise up significantly in the hype when the price is at more than $50k. But they are too afraid of buying Bitcoin when the price dropped enough to approach $30k.
This is the psychology of Bitcoin buyers, not investors (some of them).

If you ask me, I will tell you, yes, this is the time for buying. Every time is a good time to buy. Moreover for a long-term hold.
Those people are seeing a profit in a short term not the long term and most of them are usually getting into a trap.
I've noticed this too, when Bitcoin hit the ATH they are all talking about investing or asking "am I too late to invest".

I tend to agree with you, investing in Bitcoin is good for the long term, not just the short term.  Anytime is good to buy Bitcoin as long as you know how to hold the value and sell when you have a profit.  The more years that you can able to hold, there's a good potential to make profit.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Transaction Fees Comparison? on: January 31, 2022, 11:48:02 PM
Is there a single webpage that lists the current transaction fees for the major blockchains, like BTC, ETH, solana, avalanche, matic, BCH, BSC, etc?
I think there's no website that has a feature like what you're looking for.
Why not check them one by one in different blockchains that the website has.  IMO, blockchair.com the link the dropped above is more accurate to that but instead of the transactions fee comparison, it's a graph.

1450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Role of BTC in the metaverse? on: January 31, 2022, 11:04:51 PM
I dont know what is their role to each other but I guess they had a big correlation to each other.
When it becomes Metaverse becomes bloom, for sure Bitcoin will grow so they had a strong correlation because there's an influence of Bitcoin over Metaverse that could create hype.

But it depends on the circumstances that may occur about the law, such as news that could be exploded and the crypto events which is possible of adoptions for sure Bitcoin price will react.
1451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why the reduced publicity? on: January 31, 2022, 10:43:45 PM
Is it in the agenda of the forum not to gather too many users hence the reduced publicity?
You're wrong, even on Youtube, there's a TheBitcoinTalkShow that can everyone watch regarding the forum.  What is the purpose of hiding?

Besides, we have IMO more than 3 million users here but I don't know how many of them are active you can check all stats in all user's profiles you can find them here.   https://bpip.org/
Do you think the hidden agenda is not to gather more users on this?
1452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: Low was $34K or will be ~$25K on: January 30, 2022, 11:55:44 PM
Remember… market does what the least amount participants expect.

Everyone didn’t buy at $34K because $30K was a better buy.
Everyone wants to buy at $30K instead of $34K
When $30K breaks… everyone will want to buy at $20K.
Since everyone wants to buy at $20K it’ll most likely never reach that area.

So bottom is $34K or $25K give or take a K or so.
Until such time they can't jump in when seeing the market at a bullish price of more than $35k because they are waiting lower than this.
IMO, anytime is a perfect time to buy and invest for a long-term purpose and a short term only, weeks or months.  This has been proven that after years passed Bitcoin price grow the price.  So if you have been bought this recent dump and waited for how many years it could be there's your profit.

It's unpredictable and we don't know until when the button of the price.  If you have spare money and buy when the price at $35k that's good and buy again when the price is below $30k that also seems good and holds for the long term.

Seeing the market price how it fluctuates I think it's a part of Bitcoin nature that is volatile.
1453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best strategy for crypto trading on: January 30, 2022, 11:36:28 PM
Becoming a successful trader is not enough just to read how a good trading strategy is, but we need to practice it.
I tend to agree with the line that I quoted above.
You won't easily learn in just simple reading about trading strategies or techniques, it needs hands-on before you will learn and absorb those tips.  As they said, experience is the best teacher so that we become successful traders, but it doesn't mean it has a guarantee of perfect traders because trading for me is a sort of risking your money or let's say gambling most especially if you don't have an idea on it.

I don't which is the best strategy in trading is safe and less risky.  But I think the most I preferred IMO is investing and holding would be work without worrying my capital.
1454  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost Bitcoin wallet on: January 30, 2022, 11:21:37 PM
hey guys wanted to take an opinion if there is any chance i can get back a blockchain wallet i lost many years ago wich has plenty btc inside. i can only find the reciever i cant find the wallet id.
Is there any way i can find the wallet id nowdays with my reciever?

The first thing to do is remember what email address you have been used on that wallet, if you have an old email address, search "Blockchain" on the search box above on your email address account, it must be there if your email address associated with that wallet.  Once you found the wallet ID it needs a password to have full access to it.  If ever you didn't remember, you can brute force it once you have a wallet ID and full control of your email account.
Just follow this step on how to Brute-force your online blockchain.info wallet with btcrecover.

If you don't have these 3 important keys, you wont access your wallet, it should you have these, email address, wallet ID and the password.
1455  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: the comforts of bitcoin on: January 30, 2022, 10:59:18 PM
This aid of bitcoin transactions will be done in your comfort without anyone knowing and that makes it safer.
This is how Bitcoin aims by the creator, by the privacy and fast transactions that should be done quickly and that's the reason Bitcoin was invented.

I don't know how it will work online banking in your place but I think the same in my place, it works 2-3 working days before your transaction will be successfully processed but keep in mind both Bitcoin and the banking system has pros and cons.  Bitcoin transactions are irreversible while in the banking system you can request chargeback which is returned to the sender.
1456  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DeFi the decentralized ways of scam on: January 28, 2022, 11:48:37 PM
Let's consider the fact that new altcoins are usually a scam, they aren't should be trusted, and yeah right, rug pulls are everywhere we shouldn't get into their trap just because of our greed.  This news isn't new at all, since starting I know Defi is a kind of hype like before when there is ICO or IEO, whatever it is scammers will always come back with a different name and project because they know how to play greedy people or those investors.

First it was altcoins, then ICO, then DeFi, now it's NFT. After NFT some new scam will emerge.
Don't look too far, we have metaverse and DAO cooking up something.
That's the upcoming trend, investors would always take care with these projects or better play safe just stick on Bitcoin.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔺let's admit it, Bitcoin time is over, now DEFI Time 🔺 on: January 25, 2022, 11:59:11 PM
I dont see anyone around me invest in bitcoin anymore, everyone are all in DEFI; staking, lending, farming, dex pools all of them are creating highly satisfying apy.
Don't be a fool if you don't want to regret it in the future.

They seem hyped like NFT's projects that currently make some noise.  You can't lean on them for long-term purposes, they are still considered as risky investments than Bitcoin.

Everything depended on the Bitcoin price and IF Bitcoin is over your Defi coin is also over.  I don't know how you will come up with this statement it seems nonsense to me.
1458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC in Canada on: January 25, 2022, 11:52:37 PM
Here's the website https://ndax.io/
I found a list of where to buy Bitcoin in Canada and this website was also mentioned here.  How To Buy Bitcoin in Canada, there are pros and cons that might OP need to have research on his own.

I didn't live in Canada and the ones who can give a suggestion are those who live there, maybe.  But have you tried using Bitcoin ATM or do we have a DEXs/P2P exchange platform where you can buy Bitcoin through your bank account like Bisq and Hodlhodl.com.

1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell us about the best altcoin in the current situation. on: January 25, 2022, 10:59:36 PM
The market has been going downhill for some time now. In order to get the best return in such a situation, which altcoin should we invest in that gives us the maximum benefit?
Don't put all your eggs in one basket, a common piece of advice to most investors that could be applied to you.
If I were in your shoes, just give a large allocation to Bitcoin as your investment because everything was followed by the Bitcoin price movement, not the altcoins.  It's hard to determine which altcoins that has potential which is most of them aren't good on holding for the short term.

Top 10 altcoins from the CMC might be a good pick but beyond that, I don't see a potential yet it seems it's a risky part.
Give a full support to Bitcoin and you didn't need to choose which altcoins give a good return.
