1461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Newbie Needs some help :D on: January 25, 2022, 10:49:02 PM
@OP, to enable you to start seeing small small profit as you said, you can download binance mobile app and start trading bitcoin and altcoins there, if you know what you are doing, the day should not end without a small or big profit depending on how much you are using to trade and how dedicated you are.
Starting trading without enough knowledge will lead to a massive loss, I think the best way is that learn basics in trading like choosing an exchange that has a demo trading or choosing an exchange that has a copy trading feature.  So that in order to enhance first himself with basic information in trading, the demo trading is very important before you will start in the trading field.  Gain first an experience and followed by knowledge which makes you a better trader in the future.

Not all who wanted to be a trader have successfully become a trader, most of them have been field because they don't have a trading plan which where you can aim your trading goal.
1462  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another episode of "Not your keys, not your Coins" on: January 25, 2022, 02:57:27 PM
That's right, nothing new here and it was expected that if the exchange has been hacked, the percentage of having a refund is very small if it's the platform is a big exchange platform.  Just like Binance exchange that has a SAFU, it's possible that they will refund all their customers once they get hacked?

The "Not your key and your coins" is the golden law in crypto, we should always apply this law if we have a crypto asset and when we did trade in any exchange platform don't leave any fund to them.  It's not an ideal decision to leave your crypto in any centralized exchange platform because it's very risky. The possible hack will occur at anytime and I think that's a part of a risk in the world of crypto.
1463  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Lowest Priced Exchange For Buying and Transferring BTC on: January 25, 2022, 01:07:07 PM
Binance charges 0.0005 just for an external transfer, making it prohibitive.
Just use Trustwallet because it has a multi-functions of networks, the withdrawal of Bitcoin BEP20 network in Binance exchange is 0.000005 and the deposit is free.  You can refer to in this Deposit & Withdrawal Fees on Binance and you will find out which coin is good for transferring or making a deposit and the only way wallet to use is I think Trustwallet and then send it into your external wallet.

So I'm wondering what the cheapest way would be for me to send money to each of these exchanges?
If your problem is to transfer funds to another exchange with the cheapest fee as possible you can buy other coins like XRP and send them to other exchanges.
This is a good strategy when you want to transfer your fund with a low-cost fee, choose another coin with a low fee into your wallet that supports multi coins, and then convert it to Bitcoin.  But this depends on the wallet that you have to use.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My take on the market on: January 25, 2022, 12:22:33 PM
buy the dip not the hype

dont listen to people that talk about fear, they have a one-sided view.
hype 'fear of missing out'
dip 'hoarders fear'

rational minds though
hype=buyers wait for correction
dip=buyers reward

hype=sellers reward
dip=sellers hoard time

Basically, this should what investors do and avoid not panicking and selling during the dip, I tend to agree with this idea.  When there's a dip, buyers would be the right time to enter the market and sellers should hoard their assets until the hype will come.  We know that there's no infinite growth of Bitcoin price or let's say the entire crypto market, corrections always occur at any time.  It always fluctuates creates a wave position that might up and down and when people listen to the FUD, it's expecting that the market will continue going down.

I believe that the market will not go down beyond $30k, for short traders who bought Bitcoin at the dip for sure they're happy to see their profit now while the earlier investors still hoarding their assets.

1465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $34k the bottom?? on: January 24, 2022, 11:59:31 PM

I have always worked with my method and always buy the dip even if the portfolio is declining because that is the best time to buy, I will buy more if Bitcoin ever slides low to 30k as I have bought some at 33k already.
But at the moment the market is on a recovery level and now pricing a little above 36k.

I doubt, what we are seeing is a temporary recovery as a result of people who avail and buy at what is believed as the bottom of this dip at $34,000.
Short traders will surely benefit for the short pump.
However, I'm not so confident for Btc to bounce back up to $40,000. I personally seeing Bitcoin fall below $30,000 which is another good opportunity for the small investors to buy more fractions of Btc just like you.
I disagree with your personally opinion about Bitcoin will drop further $30k, I saw the slow recovery and I think it has a strong support to recover again.
Recentlty I heard several news of country accept Bitcoin and there's a country that are investing 1% on their overall fund.  So there's a possible that this recent drop was heavily manipulated with someone else it could be consider a whale too or the effect of FUD was keep spreading until now small scale investors are keep panic selling.

But now, the market it seems showing a recovery and possible the button price could be at $34k.
1466  Economy / Economics / Re: What If? on: January 24, 2022, 11:52:41 PM
There could be a war if that will happen and many economies will crash once dollars fall down.
Maybe because the function of this  US financial system is to facilitate dollar denominated transactions.  And when it comes at the point dollar will become denominated, all transactions lost their value all together with the US financial system.  There could be suffering consequences if your what if will happen.

AFAIK, countries didn't accept dollars are include Republic of El Salvador which is are now embracing Bitcoin and there are more of them.
1467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The relationship between educational qualification and quality of post. on: January 24, 2022, 01:44:34 PM
Not entirely,
I tend to agree, not all are fluently using the English language and can speak very well on it even they had a level of academic qualifications.
The quality of our posts doesn't determine our educational attainment or determine academic qualifications, some of them are just being lazy of making a quality post because they care about the quantity over the quality.  Let's say just because of the signature quota they will force to post unsubstantial posts.

You can make a good quality post if you're knowledgeable about it and I advise everyone doesn't interact on a topic that you didn't know which only can create spam.  Quality means, correct grammar and spelling, should be on-the topic and contribute to the community, and shouldn't redundant answer.  It doesn't matter if you're a doctorate or even master degree holder.
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One of the largest centralized blockchain networks will be fail? on: January 23, 2022, 11:57:41 PM
Will one of the largest centralized blockchain networks finally be able to solve the problems of Eth Network and BSC or will it also appear as a failed project?
As we can see, there's nothing we can do if any blockchain becomes congested, the result could be low-speed transactions and high gas fees.
It was proven first by Bitcoin, Ethereum, and then BSC, followed by now Solana.  Maybe the best solution is the more centralized blockchain would be better, we have an option to choose which is not congested.

I remember before when the founder of Ethereum said once version 2 of Ethereum comes the congestion of Ethereum will be gone, but look at how it seems they can't fix the problem.  Transferring tokens to exchange seems sucks because of the high fees required
1469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 23, 2022, 11:40:42 PM
..because I’ve been seeing some predictions that the market would still drop to $20,000.
No, don't listen to them, they're making this FUD so that weak hands may fall into their trap and have a continuous panic selling.
I don't believe that the Bitcoin price will fall that far, $20k is something impossible as you can see the market now showing a resistance that could maybe in the next few days market back to the green color.

There's no timer frame on buying coins and if OP has enough money to invest both Bitcoin and Ethereum are much better because they have the potential to make a profit.  My advice is, invest only in what you can afford because we don't know how long it will become the price goes up again.
1470  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens to your network if bitcointalk go offline on: January 23, 2022, 11:00:00 PM
We all don't want Bitcointalk will be going offline, this is our habit, our hangouts that can be relieved by stress reading discussion after the whole day of work.  But if that's really happened and Epochtalk didn't yet finish, it could be users here that wanted a discussion might got to these two very common platforms that might alternative to this forum.

And for the bounty hunters might here that discussed and have a bounty program of altcoins and shitcoins.
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first bitcoin purchase, how to find TXID on: January 23, 2022, 12:07:36 AM
How long your transaction has been made before checking the "view transaction" button?
It takes maybe a minute before it will appear, I don't know how Coinbase works but I assume it's the same with all custodial wallets.  The transaction was been made by their own wallet for the in and out.  When you purchase, it comes from a different wallet address.

Check your Bitcoin address on this site https://blockchair.com/, maybe it wasn't broadcasted yet by this exchange the reason you can't find TXID.
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My crazy plan for 2025 on: January 22, 2022, 11:30:15 PM
1. 10 million shiba inu
2. 10 million safemoon
3. 10 million saitama
4.  10 million dogelon mars

My hashrate is enough to mine 500k shiba per day so I can get all this over with in just a month max, what do you think?
That is really crazy idea but good luck with that decision, it's your money at risk, not ours.
IMO, meme coins don't have to make any sense, they are all in the hype and anytime soon they will crash out.  But yeah, just give it try and who knows it will have progress soon.  It seems you have gambled your money on that but that's okay if the amount you have spent is the amount that you can afford.

Keep in mind that investing in crypto is very crucial when it comes to long-term investment especially in meme coins.  We have been advised you here and let's hope you will not regret it soon.
1473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How bitcoin has employed more African youths. on: January 22, 2022, 11:00:07 PM
In third world countries, Bitcoin has great help and it is considered a medium for supporting economic growth because the dollar value is greater than their currency value which is turned to a big amount when it comes to their own currency.  On the other hand, it has the potential for significant benefits by increasing financial services. So it no doubts it really helps for youth like us.

Nowadays many people have been embracing Bitcoin because they saw the potential of benefits, governments, private investors, institutional investors, and many more because it has affected the growth of their economy in different ways and African youth are quite lucky.  People embracing Bitcoin in a developing country can escape poverty because it boosts economic growth.
1474  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to search currency exchange on: January 22, 2022, 01:27:30 PM
They also asked if i have Binance account so maybe they will contact. I contacted Binance before as well, it said if the final account belongs to Binance, they can frozen the account but this address is not Binance account so they cant do anything.

so i was wondering how to find the provider???
This doesn't belong to Binance exchange because it has a verified account from Binance.  I used this ( https://etherchain.org ) to determine the address but it seems it comes from the account and its unverified address.

I have suspected that you have been a victim of a fraud exchange, the link of the exchange that you have given above isn't accessible or shutting down and I check it on Who.is it was registered last month which is not looking good.
Just watch out for the address that you have given where your fund last landed, contact again any cyber police to investigate which exchange they will use.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I keep getting calls telling me there are are few bitcoins blocked in my name. on: January 21, 2022, 11:59:19 PM
First, you may wonder why it becomes Bitcoin blocked in your name and I don't know how they know your name, the last one is Bitcoin block doesn't own by anyone or there's a name on it.  When there's asking money to get larger money after you deposited to them, that's a scam.  Just try troll at them too but never give any amount to them.

This is very common on the Telegram platform(a house of theft) which is someone calling you, asking you for investment, or rather seeking help which acts like they have an account on exchange but they can't withdraw.  You can block/ignore them so that they can't make any calls again. (that's a perfect solution)
1476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Dip on: January 21, 2022, 11:46:59 PM
In 2021 Btc have many up & downfall ,still now it’s again moving toward the downfall ,as it was expected it will touch 100k at the end of 2021 ,does it still expected it will touch its peaks in March ?
I want to believe the reason price has failed to rebound to its all time high is likely because of herd mentality, when price started to spiral to the downwards, many other crypto holders followed and sold which left the markets in red. Can market recover any time soon i dont think so, not until the whales start to buy heavily which should signal for this change in market direction.
That's what we are afraid of when whales start buying or even those big institutions that start investing in Bitcoin.  We know that one day they will sell it without knowing us and the market becomes bloody again.  I have a doubt that this recent downfall is just because of them, who knows if they are doing the selling those assets without publications.

There are a lot of predictions but Bitcoin remained unpredictable price.  Who knows it will resist after this downfall in the next month or it will continue falling down.  There are no yet accurate predictions that I have encountered so I think we should always be ready for our investment that only the amount we can afford.
1477  Economy / Speculation / Re: Always have an exit strategy on: January 18, 2022, 11:32:34 PM
I think, if someone is thinking long term then the exit strategy in the midst of the current bitcoin price correction situation is not a wise choice. I still believe that Bitcoin price movements are still bullish this year along with the increase in investor interest. Therefore, I predict bitcoin is consolidating for a more bullish move forward.
Sometimes it makes us satisfied with what we get in crypto and we aren't looking for more profit.  If you have sold your Bitcoin with a profit, that's fine with me.  But it would be better if you can able to hold it for a longer time which is possible there will be more profit to come.  Exit strategy doesn't mean a lot of profit and I think there's no reason to be a greedy person.

IMO, an exit strategy will applicable if I didn't badly need a fund because the more you hold the more profit that you will get but there's no exact time frame if when it is.  So just be contented with what you have.
1478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency status at the beginning of the year on: January 18, 2022, 11:18:21 PM
Cryptocurrency is going to pass two weeks so far this year but still no positive is found. I think it could be even longer. In other words, it will take some time for the market to get better.
It's normal to Bitcoin that has a correction and I think it's not yet a negative result yet we are still on a bullish trend.
Look around and listen to the news, most countries are now accepting, investing, and making Bitcoin a legal tender which sounds good in the long term.

I have been years observing the Bitcoin price since 2017 and I've confirmed that Bitcoin continuously grows and yes, there will be a better market soon but there's no time frame for that.  I like those people who have faith in Bitcoin and didn't get easily panic selling, they are true crypto enthusiasts.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the top metaverse tokens to consider as a long-term investment? on: January 18, 2022, 11:10:19 PM
Play to Earn remains the most popular market for Metaverse so that should help narrow down your search. The problem with most games right now is their bad economy. They start strong with a huge reward pool to attract players but their system is unsustainable resulting to a quick dry up of their pool. Early players dump their rewards and leave while new players are stuck.
I tend to agree with you and maybe the existing one.
For me, Axie is still the best investment but I don't know if they are capable on my part to hold in a long term, other than that, it's pure hype that could be useless soon.  Let's just be careful always upon choosing an investment, just to be safe always and choose the proven and tested one.

Metaverse projects now are hyped and I can't trust them holding in a long term and none of the altcoins are good to hold in a long term, it's quite very risky on our part.  Maybe invest only that you can afford to lose and think that you gamble your money and dont expect a good return.
1480  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Freewallet Bitcoin deposits delay on: January 18, 2022, 10:53:50 PM
...like Electrum.

I doubt their users are after BTC deposits when they download that wallet. Most of them probably store altcoins in there. They are better of using wallets like Coinomi than using a crap app like freewallet and even Elon Musk had a horrible experience with it. Coinomi may not be open source but it's still non-custodial and supports a wide range of coins.
I have been horribly experienced too when I was a newbie, I'm searching for a free Bitcoin wallet that leads me to that crap wallet which is it turns out my altcoin that deposited has been lost.

Speaking of Coinomi, no, I won't advise them, this app wallet is a closed source wallet and it has a terrible fee especially when you want to swap into other coins.  However, comparing both Freewallet and Coinomi wallet, yes Coinomi is the best if there's no other option.

Better to stay away with this Freewallet.
