1461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: April 02, 2023, 04:18:20 PM
I want to know if it right for children that are of 10-15years go in to trade or not

It's a huge difference between what OP wrote here and the question from topic's title ("Is it legal for our kids to learn trade?"). Morality is different from legality.

For sure, it's not illegal to teach a child about finances or trading. However, it may not be wise to. I, for one, would not teach my son about trading at 10-15 years old. There is a proper age for anything in life and it's not good to rush things. Perhaps it would be better to teach him about finances, not about trading.

Learning about money, how to keep them, their value et al are way more important for a child than trading, which is an activity where most of people only lose money.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 02, 2023, 04:12:05 PM
I am just curious about how does online casino pay for their promotion on their influencers? Where does their earning comes from? How will you get scammed when you try online casino? How can you tell that online casino is safe?

It's interesting to see how a one liner topic determined such a long debate here. Excepting that, I don't see the connection between topic title -- Is Online casino always take risks? -- and the questions from OP. Basically it looks like a question was asked in the topic title and it was followed by other questions within OP.

However, to answer, any casino takes risks, not only online ones. So yes, online casinos take risks as well, similar to any other business. What risks? That's a complex question. They are included, but not limited to risks regarding legislation, risks regarding profitability, risks regarding the competence of employees etc.

How do online casino pay for their promotion on their influencers? -- I am not sure I understand the meaning of the question. With money, of course.

Where do their earning comes from? -- obviously, from their clients.

How will you get scammed when you try online casino? -- There are many ways of being scammed and it's needless to point all of them one by one. Better read everythng you can find from Scam Accusation board.

How can you tell that online casino is safe? -- Sadly, you can't. At any point a reputable business may turn into an exit scam. This is a risk which you have to assume.

1466  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: April 01, 2023, 07:55:48 PM
Surprisingly, of the many cases of fraud that were reported, only a few were able to provide clarity and detailed evidence for the truth of the fraud case, and many even attached accusations of nonsense.

Why is that so surprising? If you catch a thief with his hands in your pocket what are you expecting him to say if you ask him "What are you doing?". Do you actually expect an answer like "Not much, I wasmerely trying to pickpocket you"? Or, most likely, he'll say a gibberish nonsense or something like "I was trying to make sure your pocket doesn't have a hole in it, thus you won't lose your money"?

We will not know the truth of who is at fault if both parties concerned do not want to provide full and honest details.
But I never believe in anyone unless there is genuine evidence and clear details of events. If it were just giving words, then I would only consider it a short story of a play.

This is why it's recommended for anybody opening a topic in Scam accusation board to post all the possible evidence he has (screenshots, chat logs etc.).
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: April 01, 2023, 07:49:02 PM
If more CDBCs will be developed and casinos will start accepting them (in some countries they may be even coerced to accept them) it would represent another great tool for governs to induce people in error that they are offering them State-issued cryptocurrency. But such thing does not exist. Yet there will be many which will believe they are using cryptocurrency while, in fact, they'll just give the govern a hand for controlling them even more.

A while ago I wrote a topic on CDBCs subject... It seems hard days are a-coming.

1469  Local / Polski / Re: Manifest kryptoanarchistyczny - Wszyscy powinniśmy go przeczytać on: April 01, 2023, 05:42:11 PM

1475  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Discussion] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: March 30, 2023, 10:46:33 PM
It's here, it's here!  Roll Eyes

I am happy to announce that I received my prizes for BCA 2022  Roll Eyes -- at least, almost all of them (the Ledger from Betnomi did not arrive yet, but based on its tracking code I see that it already arrived in Romania so it's just a matter of days until I'll receive it).

So there are 3 packages: 1 for me and 2 for icopress:

2 of these packages are for BCA 2022 (1 for me and 1 for icopress), the prizes being described here. Third package is for icopress from BCA 2020. In case anyone is wondering why I received his packages this is because this was his will. I will hodl them for him until he may be able to receive them.

Inside my package there were 2 art prints (showing same picture; one smaller and one really big) and a pair of white gloves:

I placed the phone and a water bottle on the art print to keep it from rolling. fillippone should be happy, because I did not use a plastic bottle full of wine and I used a water bottle instead  Grin

The art print feels somehow silky when being touched.

This is what it was inside icopress' package from BCA 2022:

An identical art print, but bigger in size, was present too. However, unlike me, icopress did not get gloves looool!

Now we get to the package from BCA 2020.

Now this package looks amazing! Look at that:

You can also see the winners:

The QR code opens the link of the topic with BCA 2020 results.

icopress' name is very nicely written on the package  Roll Eyes (And this QR code opens icopress' profile from BitcoinTalk.)

This is the top part of the package:

Now let's see what was inside (I had icopress' willing to open his packages):

First of all, some interesting wooden-shaped Bitcoin-related items and an orange, plastic, Bitcoin-related toy (?) -- not sure what that orange thing is, but it changes its shape (as it can be seen below):

This is how it changes its shape:

Inside the package there were also some Bitcoin-related stickers, 3 metal beer bottle openers, 3 customized crayons, a personalized shirt and a "thank you" message for icopress

So there are the crayons:

The bottle openers:

Some stickers (one being made specially for icopress):

Here all the package items can be seen:

This is the front side of the shirt:

This is the back side of the shirt:

All in all, I can say that I was very glad when these packages arrived. While the art prints are interesting (they can also be framed), the package from 2020 looks amazing. From the shape of it (placing icopress' name on it, QR codes, winners list... Bitcoin-related theme and so on) to what was inside it -- all these are looking very nicely!

1477  Local / Polski / Re: Kryptowaluta kontra cyfrowy pieniądz emitowany przez państwo on: March 30, 2023, 08:02:23 PM

1478  Economy / Services / Re: [AOBT] The Alliance Of Bitcointalk Translators on: March 30, 2023, 08:01:15 PM
I will be translating this article into German at the beginning of next week.
Please, let me know when you finish and I will add the German link.

Hey there! I think there is a small misunderstanding here. When I suggested that topic I specified that the German translation should be not performed, as it's reserved by 1miau:

Please be aware that this topic was already translated in Romanian (by myself), while German translation is reserved by 1miau. Besides, Peanutswar told me 1-2 weeks ago that he will make this translation in Filipino but I don't know if he finished it yet.

Therefore, please do not make this German translation, dear Buchi-88. 1miau reserved this topic since March 23rd and I would not like to disappoint him. Eventually, if you really want to do the translation, I think that wisest idea is to kindly ask him for his permission about that. If he agrees, I have no problem with that. But, as things are in this very moment, German translation for this topic is already reserved.
