Wow, very nice to hear such positive news from you and I hope it'll be an interesting enrichment for your collection.

Looks like our safe shipping has been a big success after all. Smiley

I'm sure this is one of the first of many that you'll have the chance to take part into! Do let us know the cost of shipping an elephant if you ever had the chance to find out Smiley.
It's too expensive, no one even dares to give a number about the price.  Tongue

...

You know what sometimes surprises me?
It's seeing some people, who are educated and even work in the IT area, falling into some basic theft schemes.

I once saw a person who worked in a computer company, saying how he was deceived in a very basic method on a personal level.
Yes, it's really hard to explain. Maybe it's a mixture of greed or curiosity, where they overestimate their abilities.
Of course, it's not just scam related.
It even happens to some traders where they expect that they have more knowledge that the market and they expect, that they can beat the market.

If I were that person's boss, I would have fired them on the spot.
Best option.  Tongue

Hello Buchi-88, have you seen my earlier post?

Hello, unfortunately no, I completely oversaw your post. But I will contact miau right away that it was my mistake and I completely overlooked the reservation.

Hello, I've received Buchi-88's PM and we have sorted it out. It's a bit unfortunate since Buchi-88 wasn't aware of my reservations here. The topic "12 years later..." is still available and not reserved by me.
Topics reserved by me are listed as "reserved by 1miau" in GazetaBitcoin's list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5379715

I've agreed that Buchi-88 can publish his translation despite my reservation and I've also offered him a proofreading.  Smiley

Sorry for my crappy quoting +links as I'm only online mobile currently.

Quote
In July, we found that almost 10% of all cryptocurrencies held by illicit entities have been laundered through a mixer in 2022.
1465  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some scams that can be avoided that people failed to check!!! on: April 04, 2023, 11:39:43 PM
Great list, of which every Newbie should be aware of.
Scammers are criminal idiots trying to take advantage from uneducated and greedy people. So, education is already an important step to avoid such scams. And your list is a good compilation of common scam attempts.

I would also avoid MLM-scams / ponzi scams, see also my topic MLM - a dangerous marketing stratgy

MLM is scam in most cases and extremely likely to be unprofitable / a fail in almost (99.9%) all cases.  Wink
1466  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Zentralafrikanische Republik - Entwicklungen & News on: April 04, 2023, 11:26:56 PM

https://www.blocktrainer.de/zentralafrikanische-republik-degradiert-bitcoin-kein-gesetzliches-zahlungsmittel-mehr/

Smiley
1467  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: ChipMixer Offline genommen on: April 04, 2023, 10:11:49 PM

Chainalysis dazu schreibt selbst:

Quote
In July, we found that almost 10% of all cryptocurrencies held by illicit entities have been laundered through a mixer in 2022.

1468  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Rezension (Review) Kampagnen hier im Forum on: April 04, 2023, 12:31:11 AM

Smiley
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 03, 2023, 11:27:27 PM
My advice? Stay away from any MLM or referral scheme. You'd only save your time, neurons and money.
I can really agree here.
MLM should be avoided right away as it's only a scheme to enrich founders (and sometimes early investors, which is never safe of course, should one be trying to be an early investor). It's just not profitable and finally, people will lose money.
It's best to avoid MLM and don't participate in it, see also my topic MLM - a dangerous marketing stratgy

Referral rewards are too tiny or if they are too good to be true, they are not true (because it's not a vital concept for an operator to spend endless money on referral rewards after all). See point 2 in my topic above (2. MLM causes significant costs)
Instead of reflink, MLM and co., there are so many better ways to earn honest money.  Smiley

My dear 1miau, I believe this is first time we cross our paths inside Gambling section Smiley
It is, dear GazetaBitcoin.  Smiley
We even crossed already twice just yesterday.  Wink

And we are surrounded by shitposts, isn't it romantic?

Well, what do we expect from lazy shitposters? Meaningful / input / analysis / questions? We are of high risk to get disappointed to assume so.  Tongue

Looooooool! Perhaps if he would start talking about analysis he would follow the path opened by mr.relax so we are safe at the moment Smiley After all, posting zero-value posts is a smaller bad stuff than misleading users with hopeless hot-to-get-rich schemes Smiley
You are completely right here, OP is just spamming the forum (which is sad but doesn't do any harm).  Cheesy

When reading OP, it's also causing a bit confusion for me: what does he want to tell us?  Cheesy

Nothing. OP is not trying to say absolutely anything Smiley
OP is trying to fulfill his weekly post quota*, which is really hard work considering when he has nothing to say.  Cheesy
*See below.**

But depositing crypto for sports betting doesn't make it more likely to win a sports bet after all...

It's like saying you can maximize your chances by gambling in USD instead of EUR. Logic? Makes none.
EUR and USD? Probably not so much. But our intelligent OP asked about crypto.
And there we need to say:
Sure!
We can maximize our money by using BTC on gambling sites instead of USD!
Imagine, you'd deposit 100 USD there, if you'd gamble 2 years, double and withdaw it, it's 200 USD. But when you deposit BTC there and you gamble 2 years, double and withdaw it, it might be 1k USD.

We can even make losses from gambling and still have a profit, if we deposit BTC.  Cheesy
It's really called miximizing (probably).

OP's "question? suggestion?" is so generic and short and we can barely make any educated guesses what he wanted to tell us / ask us? We don't even know if he wants to tell us something or if he asks a question. ...]
To me, OP is completely pointless.  Huh

What is even worst is that OP did not even write this topic for filling a signature quota. He actually made this shitpost because he is a true shitposter, lol.
(**) Wow, you are right. I didn't notice it.  Lips sealed
It's really embarassing to see such an unemployed shitposter.

Have you noticed that OP never intervened in the discussion after starting the topic? Although he was online since then, he never wrote any single word here, inside his very own topic
I have, it's so embarassing for OP.  Cry
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 02, 2023, 10:31:03 PM
I am just curious about how does online casino pay for their promotion on their influencers? Where does their earning comes from? How will you get scammed when you try online casino? How can you tell that online casino is safe?
@OP
In case you are really reading replies here: it totally depends on which Gambling site you refer to.
Just a few examples: we have many shady Gambling sites, known for scamming like 1xbit (check 1xbit's trust score)
But we have also very legit sites, like Sportsbet.io or Betnomi.

You need to do your own research, which site is legit (and which one is not legit).
A good start is Bitcointalk: check out each ANN of any Gambling site and you'll be able to review their trust scores.

I think it would be better if mods would just lock the topic as it's a useless one.
I agree here but we would need to close so many topics, especially in Gambling / Gambling discussion that probably 50% of the front page topics will become locked topics.  Cheesy Cheesy
1472  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to use crypto to miximize profits through sport betting. on: April 02, 2023, 10:16:18 PM

However, after reading the title I realized that OP, in fact, did not say anything. He asks "Do you want to maximize your profits while betting on sports but don't know where or how to start?" -- which is a question to which any sane person would say "Yes", right? Then he says "Crypto is rapidly going traction as an investment opportunity, and now you can use digital currency while playing all type of sport betting" -- so what? Okay, you can use cryptocurrencies for betting. So what? How is that going to maximize the profits? Obviously, not the betting payment method is what is maximizing the profits, but the strategy used for betting.
Well, what do we expect from lazy shitposters? Meaningful / input / analysis / questions? We are of high risk to get disappointed to assume so.  Tongue
When reading OP, it's also causing a bit confusion for me: what does he want to tell us?  Cheesy

OP's "question? suggestion?" is so generic and short and we can barely make any educated guesses what he wanted to tell us / ask us? We don't even know if he wants to tell us something or if he asks a question.

Yes, crypto can also be used for gambling; as we know Bitcointalk is very famous for it's gambling section, where many famous crypto gambling sites are actively offering good promotions.
But depositing crypto for sports betting doesn't make it more likely to win a sports bet after all...

To me, OP is completely pointless.  Huh

1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com ⚽️ Bundesliga Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: April 02, 2023, 08:40:28 PM
Köln vs. Gladbach is probably 50 / 50 chance or we get a draw.
Werder vs. Hoffenheim will be more in favor of Werder but Hoffenheim showed a good performance against Hertha last 2 weeks ago.
As for Köln vs. Gladbach, it seems like a draw was the correct result as the match ended goalless.
After Köln was defeated in Dortmund last week 6-1, my hopes were on a weak Köln team but it didn't happen.  Cry
Gladbach just couldn't score any goal.

With regards to Werder vs. Hoffenheim, I agree that Werder may have had the advantage, but Hoffenheim showed a good performance in their match and was able to secure the victory.
Yes, it's quote a surprise to see Werder losing at home against Hoffenheim but looks like Hoffenheim improved recently (2 wins in a row now).

You also weren't lucky this time as you predicted a draw for Köln, but you didn't take it into consideration!! Angry I wish you luck in the next round.
Unfortunately, my prediction in Köln vs. Gladbach was Gladbach to win, so I didn't made any points, too (as it ended in a draw) but after such crazy results, I'm taking 7 points. Hovever, I won't win any price as I'm stuck on rank 16, so my hopes are on yellow caps to win a weekly round.  Cheesy
Not many rounds left but we'll see.  Smiley
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: April 02, 2023, 08:24:57 PM
What a race, many unexpected red flags and safety cars.
Mercedes really looked strong here, even stronger compared to Aston Martin, if Russell doesn't get his engine issue. Very bad luck for him, but it didn't look good for Russell anyways after he got screwed by pitting early and a red flag shortly after it, where everyone changed tyres for free.
In general, half of the grid had bad luck today.  Cheesy
Russell engine issue, both Alpine and Williams out and Magnussen hitting a wall.
Probably the worst weekend for Ferrari (once again): Leclerc gets hit by Stroll in Lap 1, Leclerc is stuck in gravel and later, Sainz crashes into Alonso, Sainz gets a 5 seconds penalty resulting in rank 12 for him, where he gets 0 points.  Lips sealed

I have changed my prediction
I also changed my prediction
Turned out to be a very bad decision to change predictions and lose our EBP.  Cry
See you next round (Baku / Azerbaijan), everyone. Smiley

And the red flag from the final.... absolute shameless. WHY? and we come back to the so called "SAFETY" and you put the drivers in a new standidng start and you know hey are gonna go ALL IN in the first turn, and the chance of chaos are HUGE.

This is pure TV order to get drama not matter a what cost, they destroyed strategies, and in some case the whole race (like Alpine).
I believe, it's a situation similar to Baku 2021, where only few laps were left when Verstappen had a crash. Session red flagged and standing restart (where Hamilton locked up and Perez won  Cheesy)
Today, FIA had basically 2 choices:
- Option 1 like in Baku 2021 (Session red flagged and later standing restart)
- Option 2 like in Monza 2022 (Safety car finish)
Mabye race control decided to go for Option 1 because Magnussen distributed many parts of his car on the track, which needed to be cleaned up. And as it's about safety of Marshalls when tidying it up, race control made a red flag. After red flag, a standing start is done (as in Baku 2021). Of course, it's also about action because after Monza 2022, many people complained to FIA, that the race ended under Safety Car.
And yes, final laps destroyed my Alpine both cars points finish bet.
It's always a difficult situation for race control because not matter what's decided, someone will be pissed but Gasly made a really stupid move there when he re-joined the track, by going back to racing line immediately and he took out Ocon.  Cry

Here are the "high scores", though keep in mind that there were cheaters. karmamiu performed the best on every metric, and it doesn't look to me like he cheated.
Nice stats, looks like we have some very talented people here, like karmamiu.
And our @Hhampuz also did very well, congrats.  Cheesy

Maybe such a high number of collected coins are just from many failed attempts, it's also possible. Or are only coins from successful completions counted in your statistics?

Sure, almost all of the Saturday games are favorite vs. underdog but it's very likely to see more favorites slip. Maybe we'll see Bayern slip against Dortmund as well.
Would be nice for an exciting title game to see it happen.  Smiley
However, in the case of Bayern vs Dortmund, you predicted Bayern to win and they ended up winning 4-2, so they managed to avoid slipping in that match.
Yes, I expected Bayern to win but I'm always hesistant of underestimating Dortmund (and considering Bayern to screw up a game against an important opponent)
We have seen Bayern slipping against Gladbach and Leverkusen, so slipping against Dortmund wouldn't be a surprise, even a draw would be bad for Bayern.
But Bayern won decisively, good for Tuchel. Man City will be a more difficult opponent of course.  Cheesy

I don't know if I'm able to achieve accurate results and win the free bet Grin
Good luck, 8 points are already a very good result after so many surprises.  Smiley
Köln vs. Gladbach is probably 50 / 50 chance or we get a draw.
Werder vs. Hoffenheim will be more in favor of Werder but Hoffenheim showed a good performance against Hertha last 2 weeks ago.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: April 02, 2023, 12:25:26 AM
Is it worth losing 2 Early Bru Points for being able to replace him in order to try to earn 1 or 2 points at the end? It's very difficult to make a choice.
I have changed my prediction because I believe it's very unlikely for Perez to get a podium (I've predicted him to make a podium previously, now removed him). For Perez, it can also result in getting his car damaged, when he tries to push too much for overtaking. He still has 0 experience how his car will behave, even if all technical issues from FP3 and Qualification are sorted out. Maybe we'll see Perez going straight into gravel again in Sector 1 (as he did in his first Qualifying lap  Cheesy), taking out few cars.
Maybe he can make position 6 or 7 when he's really good and doesn't damage his car, but podium? Very unlikely.
I expect Mercedes making a double podium because Aston Martin didn't seem to have high top speed, so it will be very difficult for Alonso to overtake Mercedes, if he can't get one during start. Maybe he'll even get sacked by one Ferrari.
If so, it'll be even more difficult for him.
Mercedes is not Ferrari, where we can expect tyre degradation. Mercedes is much more stable.

So, let's see if my decision was a good idea to discard 2 EBP. 2 points are a lot but I'm hoping for a strong Mercedes performance tomorrow, which can result in 6 points for a correct podium, if it happens.
Good luck everyone.  Smiley
1479  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: April 02, 2023, 12:02:21 AM

Also bitte, jetzt gebt euch doch ein bisschen Mühe.  Wink
