I thought about this for a long time. Following fillipone's example I decided that maybe it could help several people reading some of my topics -- meaning those not knowing English (or, at least, not very well). Seeing that his initiative had some success, I hope that my writings will also bring more knowledge to users from local boards.

Therefore, I made a list with the topics I consider to be most helpful in my opinion and I am looking for your help. As you can see, I previously translated three of them in Romanian.

If anybody is interested to translate my topics in his / her local board (including in Romanian), please let me know. The rules for translation are the following two ones:


In other words, those interested in making translations should know English (and their own language too) very well and they should not use Google Translate (or any other automated translator). What I'm trying to say is that I am looking for serious translators, which will dedicate for thorough and correct translations.

from my perspective, provided that English board is more popular and have multitudes than local boards, i refer where people engage into conversation of cryptocurrency with English than local section of bitcoin interaction, so many people have been emphasising that local board is important but i can't disregard that, because i feel that some user they develop from local ssection and understand it with local language before enrolling to public boards like bitcoin discussion section and meta and economic section. On my own i don't value local section because it's one language they are using and nobody outside the board can understand their communication except using of app.

really the ideology is encouraging, because having such ideas is really appreciating, but local board is not in my agenda to patterner with.

GazetaBitcoin:you didn't say to which languages you want your post translated. I can translate to Spanish, if you're interested.

Thank you for your interest. You can translate any of my topics. It doesn't matter that the majority of your locals speak English... I am sure that some of them don't speak it at all or they know just very few English... Thus, the translations may help some. I hope they will help some... It also does not matter if peoppe will not engage in discussion on the translated topics. At least they will read them and learn from them.

In fact, we lack a lot of good topics in my local board (Arabic) and i want to enrich it with one or more from your topic's list. I am hesitating between those three as the other topics are so long and even have technical info that i am not able to translate honestly as the arabic language itself is so poor in term of scientific concepts:

GazetaBitcoin: I've been working on the translation to your "Bitcoin: The dream of Cypherpunks, libertarians and crypto-anarchists" thread, and, to be honest, it got to a point at which I can't, in good faith, push on people something I so fundamentally disagree with.
I thought I could do it. I even put a disclaimer at the beginning, saying I didn't agree with what was being said, but I keep on opening it just to translate a few words and quit. At this point it's gonna take me years.

I didn't want to go into detail, as I didn't want to appear judgemental. I know this is said a lot ( ), but it's really me, not you.
Initially, I'm very exact and detail oriented, so any inaccuracies become major issues with me. Just to name one off the top of my head, the IBM PC was brought to market in 1981, not in 1975.
Besides that, the whole "oppression by the government" thing not only goes against things I know, but also against my personal experiences having lived almost 13 years in the US.
