14821  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Over 100 Bitcoins Stock: Buy Bitcoins at 20% Off. After Black Friday Hot Sales!! on: December 13, 2013, 11:25:54 PM
Sorry, man. I had to red flag you because you refuse or simply skirt away from any inquiries into proof of ownership or TxIDs. If you can sign a wallet address that proves you own BTC or any past TxIDs that you claim to have taken place, I'll remove the negative trust. But until then, users should use extreme caution when doing business with BulkNeteller.

Thank you for this.
Now he will have to come up with some info , proofs he's legit.
Although I have an idea how this will end Smiley

The newbie readme is made sticky with a BLOCK LETTER title. Why so many people miss it?

Do you think a prisoner that is trying to escape from a prison is paying too much attention to what guards say? Smiley
14824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2013-12-09 LiteCoin is Causing Shortages of AMD Radeon GPUs on: December 13, 2013, 11:16:03 PM
If I would have to chose  the likeliest reason for this shortage, between Litecoin mining and X-mas , I would chose X-mas.
14825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can satoshi kill bitcoin? on: December 13, 2013, 11:11:25 PM
In a hypothetical situation, if satoshi ever comes back, does he has the power to kill crypotcurrency?
NO
What can he do to make bitcoin valueless? What if he comes back and spread some ugly news about bitcoin? What if he comes back and sell all his bitcoins away? What if he comes back and say xxxcoin is the way to go? What is going to happen to bitcoin?
Nothing. News like?. We will buy all of them. We will call him insane:). Nothing.

If satoshi is nsa or some scamming group, can he/they potentially use this power to control or destroy the whole world once bitcoin is accepted into the mainstream? If thats the case, all the mining gears, stock exchanges and all industry that builds around bitcoin will disappear in a day.

What if satoshi is a sadist or has emotional problems? are we all too naive to follow the tail of an anonymous person?

will that day every come?

NO

14826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Something Like the DigitalCoin Free Bank Exist for Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2013, 11:09:02 PM
Info seen here: http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php/topic,4.0.html

Quote
It is time to announce the Free Bank of Digitalcoin, an initiative that aims to introduce  a new concept to the crypto-world.

What is the FBD?
A community inspired and funded effort to further the usage of DGC as a store of value and monetary unit.

What services are provided?
The primary service will be hedging and profit enabling. FBD will allow people to purchase DGC at a fixed rate (set to match market price), and hold contracts that provide the option of selling back the DGC at purchase price. Deposits and withdrawals will initially be accepted in bitcoin, litecoin, and USD.

How is this useful to me?
The FBD will serve to lower investor risk in crypto-currency and allow simple, risk free cash flow into digitalcoin.

Example:
1. John Doe decides he wants to invest in digitalcoin but he can't handle downside risk.
2. J.D. contacts the FBD for a DGC quote.
3. J.D. purchases digitalcoin directly from the bank and is given the option to sell them back at purchase cost.
4. Now, if the price drops, J.D. can execute his option and sell back the coins at purchase price. If the market rises, he can sell his digitalcoin on the open market.

By removing liquidity uncertainty regarding DGC, the FBD will serve to promote and nurture digitalcoin growth.

I'm also still open to the idea that there is a large flaw in the logic of this kind of service, but I haven't been able to find it yet. It seems like it's basically a buy back option, but I don't see it as an option on any of the Bitcoin exchanges.

See that "fixed rate". There you have the flaw. And as you suspected there is a really big one:).

14834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for investors for a new cryptocurrency on: December 13, 2013, 10:49:55 PM
Hi folks,

As soon as I'm 'allowed' I will post this in the appropriate forum section.

Bitcoin has undoubtedly done very well and I sincerely wish it the best of luck for the future but there is a HUGE opportunity here to make some tweaks under the hood and introduce and market a currency in markets that for the most part have been ignored.

I have a very well thought out strategy that will use traditional marketing strategies and political affiliations to push the currency onto the masses.

I will be happy to discuss more over the phone or Skype so please PM me to arrange this. At this stage and probably no stage am I seeking lots of small scale investors but rather a few persons who have business experience, can quickly get to grips with big ideas, self described risk-takers and funds that they can afford to lose if things turn tits up (which they can determine the likelihood of after our chat). I can sincerely say a $100,000 investment will have a very high likelihood of yielding a $10 million+ return (for the investor).

Bitcoin has set the stage and it's now time for the second act.

---
And this is the part when I'm stating to get worried.
x100 times the investment.
And of course , it will be in less than two months isn't it?

Gox will never change , but until the big money will go to stamp or ... another exchange , gox is the place were the action unfolds.

Only daytraders wanting increase BTC stack are at MtGox. It is exchange where daytraders cannot enjoy their hard earned USD Cheesy

What do you mean by this?

It is just play USD, not real USD when you can not withdraw it and enjoy buying things you like...

There are plenty of euros there , and other currencies.
You can still withdraw euros and yens if you have a bank account.

Also , big players are not affected by this issue , at least rumors say so.
