1501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: February 21, 2023, 10:55:53 PM
An amazing result (Real Madrid again! how I love it!) but there is also a sad part - don't you think this is the end of Klopp's Liverpool?
That will depend on the bosses, but I believe they have to give him time to rebuild. Right now, Liverpool is in shambles and sacking him won't help that much

A 3 goals win at the Santiago Bernabéu for Liverpool would send the game into extra time, but how can be so sure of that chances , if they couldn't even take a advantage 2 goals lead on with their home crowd it's full effect, how can we expect more than what transpired tonight from the return leg, It's football and anything can happen, but sometimes optimism can only lead to further high expectation hence, even more disappointment.
Who knows? Maybe Trent Alexander-Arnold ends up taking another quick corner and Liverpool are back in the game  Cheesy
1502  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anonymous crypto exchange on: February 21, 2023, 09:54:19 PM
There are dozens of crypto exchanges working under anonymous methods.
They are not many bro, I doubt if we can even name 5 of them.

Exolix is not an anonymous exchange, they even blocked someone's funds at one point.
Again, most of this instant exchanges that use the clearnet and other third party centralized exchanges to swap funds are nothing close to anonymous, decentralized or p2p exchanges.
1503  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anonymous crypto exchange on: February 20, 2023, 11:59:09 PM
Interesting thread.

I have very recently become interested in bisq and its nice to get o_e_l_e_o's recommendation
for AgoraDesk and HodlHodl also.

While its obvious that its preferable to stay away from potentially reversible trades and
that CASH IS KING, that means you have to trade with someone local I assume?
The only real anonymous p2p exchange that promotes high level of privacy is bisq.

If I am not hallucinating, I think I remember reading somewhere in the terms and conditions of AgoraDesk stating that they can share personal data with law enforcement if asked to do so. The same applies to HodlHodl.

but sadly it seems he is new here and had no thought to read the thread full of complaints from the customers who are here.
even though it's actually quite easy when entering this thread on the first page that the OP is given a negative trust tag and even beginners should see this trust before registering and making a deposit.
but after I saw from some of the complaints that there seemed to be those who complained that they felt cheated, they were people who didn't know this forum before, so they could only complain here after feeling cheated and looking for a place to complain and found this forum.
Not being a member in the forum does not mean that one can do enough research and conclude that 1xbit is scam.

On a private window of my Firefox browser, I just typed in "1xbit Scam" in the Google search engine and in the third place of results this is what I saw.

Among the scam accusations is their ANN thread

Clicking on the highlighted thread as a guest user, the warning is so clear

By the time someone is scammed by 1xbit, they are either too big-headed or did not do basic due diligence at all.
1505  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin candle stick time range on: February 20, 2023, 10:37:18 PM
It seems to be something that has been under looked by the Kucoin team. I, too, can't see the listed time ranges on my mobile app too

But the web version of Kucoin has them apart from the monthly

I have preferred to use Kucoin on my mobile phone, it is one of the exchanges I have been trading now without forcing me for KYC, not requesting for like mobile phone number. I have used the exchange and it is quite good.

1506  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have a true discussion without the sig tail wailing? on: February 19, 2023, 10:35:46 PM
Guess the title says it, can we have a true talk without it for the sake of it about Bitcoin? Not like you're paid to say something.
And what is wrong with members wearing signatures of services that promote Bitcoin?

You do realize that there are so many bitcoin services that have launched and thrived due to adverts and exposure in this forum, right?
Aren't you the same people who keep yearning for Bitcoin adoption?

It's a free world here, If by any chance you don't like Bitcoin paying signature campaigns in the posts and replies, then create a telegram group or discord server where you can discuss without any sigs  Smiley

6 Months no one responding to me and not give me my money back! This is criminal what they are doing
I have not received my deposited money, they not even back to my emails.
why you are doing this?
I have deposits of 140 usdt in crypto and my account is 462338953
answer me give me my deposit back!
When we sound alarm bells about a certain service being a scam, please always endeavour to hear us out. I don't know how many countless times people have been warned against using 1xbit, but I guess some folks think it's just a lie and continue gambling there until they get trapped.

Well, I guess you will be one of our witnesses. The casino is a scam from the word GO!
1508  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What after localbitcoins.com shutting down on: February 18, 2023, 11:31:57 PM
You of all people with your rank on the forum shouldn't have replied in a hurry and based on just a context without reading the full story
Use the advice to better yourself. It looks like you need it more than I do.

I gave you links to help you analyse what went wrong and when problems started with Localbitcoins, but it seems you are even too lazy to do anything like checking them out. Maybe you could learn a thing or two and avoid groaning the "You of all people with your rank on the forum shouldn't..." lines

This is business (crypto or not), and records are being broken yearly, so you are so wrong that history will repeat itself because it's crypto-related as no one will ever be able to break business records.

1509  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Jackbit.com | 🎰 Top Crypto Casino ⚽️ Sportsbook 🎲 Exclusive Mini-Games on: February 17, 2023, 11:35:24 PM
Still waiting on Jackbit to unlock my held funds, this "investigation" process must need all the greatest detectives flying in don't see how else it would take so long.

The way it feels is they are just hoping i forget about it and take my $
It looks like there are issues involving account investigations, that they take a long time. I have just seen another thread in the scam accusations where the accuser claimed that they had told him that the investigation could take up to 6 months. That's a heck of a long time to be honest, I don't know whether they already resolved his issue as the Jackbit representative had tried to get in touch with him at that time.

I hope Jackbit team try as much as possible to speed up the investigation processes and avoid hurting their reputation with unresolved scam accusations that keep dragging on for long.

THIS IS MY PROJECT.
I'M @SCRIPT017 AND THE OP IS A SCAMMER. CHECK MY THREADS

DONT FALL FOR IT.

I suggest you open up a scam accusation with proofs that this person is trying to impersonate and profit out of your project. I have already seen some proof showing that you own the project

Use this board  - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0
use this scam reporting format for guidance - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

if OP is found guilty, he will receive negative feedback and a trust flag from DT members
1511  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto casino project - bug hunt & feature ideas on: February 17, 2023, 10:31:35 PM
If you want the other person to be proven fraud or not the real owner of the website then you should just create a thread or you can just use this thread to provide proof of ownership of the domain. One of the things you can do is to make an edit on the domain you mentioned that you own like adding a text on the homepage like your Bitcointalk username or even signed message and then add it on the homepage then that will surely prove the ownership. Are you goig to pay those bug hunters if they found one?. Just asking.
He's already proved that he's the owner of the site... check it out. There is a link to his bitcointalk profile at the footer of the website. I think this makes his story believable that someone is trying to impersonate and profit out of his work.

It would be interesting to hear what the other person (Kostelooscoin) says.

site does not work presently ?
Yeah, I just tried to visit their domain and the site seems to be down.

I haven't seen any official announcement on their official twitter handle but when I checked their telegram, this is what they said and it probably makes sense right now that the platform might be on maintenance

👷‍♂️ Emergency Maintenance  👷‍♂️

Polarity team has identified an emergency issue.

Please do not use the platform during this time.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Don't dwell in the past glory, you can't use all-time success to judge the stability and suitability of any business.
History always repeats itself, especially when it comes to crypto exchanges. Don't tell me you don't know this.

Quote
The all-time high I even read was in 2017 and it's $130M but that is not the case here. Yahoo was doing better than Google some time ago, but can you compare the two in earnings now? Paxful was a better competitor and traffic trackers ranked it #16,947 while Localbitcoins ranked #42,159. That should mean something to you.
Aaah so Google is king forever, it will never drop from the top spot. Well, that means something to me  Grin

I don't think so, if they lost due to KYC, why are the others with the same KYC flourishing in the business? What I have noticed is that businesses with their model accepting all manner of payment systems for P2P need due process to protect themselves and their customers because fraudsters are everywhere.
Did you ever have an account on localbitcoins before the mandatory KYC requirements came in? Trust me, their new KYC requirement were too strict and asking for too much personal information before one could get verified.

Even Binance and likes of OKX have KYC verification but have not yet reached that level of KYC where you have to state how much you earn yearly, what kind of business you do and where your grandmother was born etc  Grin

You can look at the charts and interpret from the time KYC verification became mandatory on the platform - https://coin.dance/volume/localbitcoins

or this can help - LocalBitcoins: volumes down because of KYC
1514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funding rate problem during perpetual future trading on: February 17, 2023, 02:25:46 PM
As far as I know the funding rate constantly changes but the time of charge is every 8 hours but correct me If i am wrong.
By the way, not all exchanges have funding rates set at every 8 hours. Some exchanges like Kraken and Dydx have their funding rates set at every 1 hour

Here is the announcement from Kraken - https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/9618146737172-Perpetual-Contracts-Funding-Rate-Method-Prior-to-September-29-2022
this is for Dydx  -https://help.dydx.exchange/en/articles/4797443-perpetual-funding-rate
1515  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I can't convert my btc to usdt on coinbase. on: February 17, 2023, 11:02:52 AM
Is this a Coinbase wallet or the Coinbase pro?
Wasn't Coinbase pro discontinued already?

If I am not mistaken, I must have read an email from them stating that they were going to discontinue the Coinbase pro product and merge it into coinbase.com as one.

Edit:

This is the announcement: Hello Advanced Trade, goodbye Coinbase Pro
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How was Bitcoin mining done in the early days? on: February 16, 2023, 11:39:22 PM
In the early days, you could mine off your home PC and be very profitable, cause the competition was low as well as the difficulty level.
It wasn't very profitable as such. The 50 BTC mining reward wasn't worth that much back in the day, especially when not so many people believed in Bitcoin yet. It's just that today's price of bitcoin changes the perspective a lot. Those who held on to the mined Bitcoins are the ones who enjoyed the most.
1517  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 16, 2023, 10:50:42 PM
There's an odds boost from duelbits, if you bet over 2.5 goals on Barcelona vs Manchester United the odds was from @1.70 become @2.50.
I think the possibility of 3 goals in this match is quite small because Barcelona doesn't score a lot goals even though they're win streak while Manchester City did score many goals but they're not always win.
I guess you meant Manchester United. Right?

So it turns out the outcome was over 2.5 goals. Very appetizing odds, IMO. Not sure how I missed that odd boast. I would have definitely gone for an over.
Barcelona's defence tends to be mean when playing against small la Liga teams, but it's a different case when playing a big team.
1518  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I can't convert my btc to usdt on coinbase. on: February 16, 2023, 09:37:35 PM

The question is, the total you have, is it in BTC or another coin but valued in USD.

Most exchanges don't allow trading below a minimum of 10 USD/USDT... How much are you trying to convert?

If you face a lot of challenges, try contacting Coinbase support for quicker help regarding the issue.
1519  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kryptogamers Hive No KYC Casino on: February 16, 2023, 02:47:13 PM
Please find below the answers to some of the common questions:

1) If a player wins big, will the casino ask for KYC ?
Ans: Since Kryptogamers is primarily a non-custodial casino on Hive blockchain (HIVE offers free and instant transactions), all player's non-custodial winnings are transferred instantly and free of cost to the player's Hive wallet without requiring any kind of KYC whatsoever. It is not possible for us to ever ask for KYC for the non-custodial section because we are not in control of your Hive blockchain account and therefore cannot suspend or do anything about it.

2) Why is proof of age required if casino does not require KYC ?
Ans: Apart from the non-custodial section, we also have a custodial section of games for custodial wallet players who prefer better user experience and instant gameplays as each non-custodial game-result takes approx 3 seconds (which is Hive block time) while custodial game results are instant (<1 second). However, if you are playing custodial games, the proof-of-age and other documents maybe required only if the law enforcement requests come in for your specific account. Uptill now (4+ years), we have received only 1 request to suspend a custodial Hive account and that person had 0 balance in his wallet. Having said that, we are a privacy friendly casino since 4+ years and have never asked for KYC nor do we intend to ask for KYC unless absolutely required by law.

Hope this answers your major questions. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
Thanks for the clarification. So, in other words, the casino is 2 in 1. The custodial and the non-custodial section. I hope customers are made aware that once they use the custodial section, they may be subject to KYC on request by law enforcement otherwise it may lead to unending disputes

I also wanted to ask why you guys can't make this announcement thread a little bit more attractive with graphics, or is it not your official announcement thread?
1520  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Selling Legendary account (BROOP) on: February 16, 2023, 02:30:14 PM
How much a legendary account worth?  Grin

You might find that they don't even own any. Just looking for someone to scam. A legendary account is not worth selling. If someone is badly off, they could join a signature campaign of $70-$100 a week and earn something in no time. I mean, by the time someone thinks of selling a legendary account, they must be so stupid.

I fill feel if bitcointalk has a rule that to create a topic/post they must have to buy a copper member,  it would be suitable for these people who are creating new accounts to scam people.
This would slowly kill the forum. Some people create new accounts to report scam, ask specific questions or post complaints about certain services. If you deny such genuine newbies a chance, they won't return here.
