1504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can London be a Global Bitcoin Hub? on: May 01, 2015, 03:35:19 AM
London can be a Global Bitcoin Hub surely and if look at some other countries like china of japan they can be a better option to go for. China and Japan mostly popular for their technology and most of the population in technologically sound so they can adopt bitcoin very easily.
I think London could be bitcoin hub! The gov are open to and accept it! There are many ppl there, who are supporting bitcoin and operating related businesses!

1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Circle Raises $50 Million With Goldman Sachs Support on: April 30, 2015, 10:53:48 AM
A lot of venture capitalists are attracted to crypto world. Even the famous investment bank Goldman Sachs don't want to miss the train of investing to bitcoin's startup.
1507  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Anonymous Invest | No need to register | Few different investment plans on: April 29, 2015, 12:47:16 PM
The early investors could get decent profit! But it seems too good to be true! Keep in mind that the operators could get a chunk of invested money and disappear!
1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DONATE to Nepal earthquake victims and redeem the donation on: April 27, 2015, 01:16:14 AM
I think the ppl who want to donate will donate, not for the extra return. But I have to sayt the price of HUGE in po is 81 satoshi at the moment! Not good incentive to encourage donation. At leas you are supporting Nepal with your available effort.
1509  Economy / Auctions / Re: Sr. Member Account on: April 26, 2015, 05:23:03 AM

1510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: These people have the power to take bitcoin mainstream overnight! on: April 26, 2015, 05:16:15 AM

1511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing Bitcoin in standard assets on: April 24, 2015, 07:00:11 AM
The idea itself is good, but how do you convice people to use your service as it is very new and not many people have heard of it.

Don't get me wrong, but at this point there are plenty of fly-by exchanges, sites, services, etc who will run with funds after a while.

Yes, there are so many scams, fraud, negligence around crypto wold.I think not much ppl will trust you unless you prove yourself. The time will say everything. If you can bring solid long term return for the investors, more and more investors will come to you!
1512  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money Laundering? Has it gone too far? on: April 24, 2015, 06:45:16 AM
You can travel with as much cash as you want.  They just ask you declare over $10,000.

Do NOT go to the US with more than $10,000 in cash, even if you declare it. I once made that mistake. It isn't fun at all Sad

"Are you carrying anything on you I should know about?"
"Yes I have $15,000 in cash"
"Ok come right this way sir"
Why not carry bitcoin with your mobile phone Bitcoin wallet? You can load as many bitcoin as possible. No one will force you to claim your bitcoin holding. Besides that, bitcion is not recognized currency yet.
1513  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Police Officer Caught Selling Stolen Bitcoin Mining Equipment on: April 24, 2015, 06:21:46 AM
Another officer of the law is entangled with crimes involving bitcoin, this time a Police Officer from New Jersey was arrested in a sting operation selling a stolen Bitcoin mining equipment.

Reference link: http://bitforum.info/t/new-jersey-police-officer-arrested-after-selling-stolen-bitcoin-mining-equipment/862

Do you think that theres more police authorities who are involved in illegal activities involving bitcoin?
Why do you think they became interested with Bitcoin when the government itself is not fond of it?
I think there are more, not just involved with Bitcoin, could be anything that could bring money to them.

1516  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Small Block on: April 24, 2015, 05:48:16 AM
Because at the time the block was created, the number of made transactions varies. Sometime it is high, sometimes is low.
1517  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: April 24, 2015, 05:44:36 AM
I will still sell a small portion of my holding, like 10%, and keep 90% of them.
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes an altcoin rise in the market? on: April 23, 2015, 06:54:50 AM
I'm still pretty new to all this but having an active community, getting places to accept their altcoin directly and having an active (and communicative) dev team seems to help keep prices stable, if not necessarily upwards-bound.

Yes that seems like good ideas but how do you exactly make reputable places accept your coin when they can just use the already trusted ones? I mean new coins have nothing new they are just other coins

This is the fundamental problem with altcoins right now.  There is almost no incentive to use new altcoins compared to Bitcoin.  And even then Bitcoin is still in its infancy, most merchants immediately exchange it for fiat.
Altcoins have the same fate with bitcoin. As the adoption rate of bitcoin increases, altcoins follow! But not all, only the innovative and feature rich altcoins will keep going!
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you pay for the keys to the genesis block/address on: April 20, 2015, 09:22:12 AM
It is no worth more than 65.44243457 BTC if the amount is spendable otherwise it is worthless.
1520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Closing the loop - helping retailers not to sell their coins on: April 20, 2015, 09:13:50 AM
A closing loop could help stabilization of the price of bitcoin, but I doubt such loop can really be setup.
I think at the bitcoin's adoption rate is increasing, more and more merchants, individuals, vendors are adopting and using bitcoin. The bitcoin's ecosystem is forming. Ppl will find the benefit of just keeping bitcoin rather to dump to cash paying the conversion fees every time.
