1081  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Causes of Mass shootings, suicides + - Many of them are on psychotropic drugs on: October 10, 2015, 07:40:03 PM
I believe there is a huge relation to psychotropic drugs and mass shootings, and reason being is because I was put on many of them and hated myself on them so I kept not taking them and had to wait for the next doctors appointment so he could sign me up for me to jam another pill down my throat.

I was classified "bipolar" but I knew that wasn't true... I just delved into a lot of psychoactive drugs when I was younger and it made me a little crazy.  I think if I hadn't seeked help, I would've probably done something bad to the extent of what these other guys did.

Sorry you went through that.

One of the things they mention in the video about the military is the doctors don't even know how the pills are going to affect you. Everyone reacts differently, and all those horrible side effects they list happen to people or else they wouldn't be listed. I still find it totally bizarre that drugs for depression can cause suicide.

These are drugs that change your brain, that's why the word "psycho" is in the full word. They are literally playing around with people's brains and hoping for the best. You have to imagine some will go wrong, and sadly that means many people have died due to them and that's just the suicides. I believe people have died to them because of the mass shootings but it's a fact that people die because of these drugs, just how many is what's up for debate.

It's just crazy that the FDA approves these drugs when they can't necessarily say that any drug will totally help out a person going through a mental disorder.  I primarily smoked marijuana, which calmed me down and made me feel alright throughout the day, which obviously isn't FDA approved and not legal... that's why I had to stop, because I had to be approved for a background check for my job.

But it just so happened, when I stopped "prescribing myself" my daily doses of pot, my anxiety disorder came back.  So to help combat this, doctors prescribed my Zoloft, which made me feel literally insane; then they prescribed me a whole batch of combination of drugs which made me feel like a zombie... So I just quit taking all of them, and am about to go see the doctor again.  I'm just going to tell them that I've managed my anxiety through mind over matter techniques and to not make me start taking some other drug that's like the other ones I've taken.
1082  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Calling for all foreign parties to join in Jihad against the evil U.S.A. on: October 10, 2015, 07:27:54 PM

No, willing to overlook that.

lol, you're willing to overlook that because you know I'm right?  You just want to see America burn, due to some hatred against the US; but you expect us to respect Jihad?  Have you forgotten that we have millions of Muslims here as well? Or do you consider them some type of "traitor" because they have decided to move over here?
1083  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: October 10, 2015, 07:25:09 PM

Her nearest competitors, Vermont Senator Sanders and Vice President of the U.S. Joe Biden, who has yet to decide whether he will run, both made gains. Support for Sanders jumped from just over 24 percent to 28 percent, and Biden rose from 16 percent to a even 20 percent in the same time period.

I seriously think the only candidate who has the best shot of winning is going to be Sanders... there is so much support from him amongst the young democratic voters.  This notion of electing Hillary just because she is a woman is starting to disappear, and the democratic voters are actually starting to look more into Hillary's history... which could be considered a good/bad thing for the republican party.  I think if Hillary would be elected it would be a shoe in to get a republican candidate elected for the presidency, because they will non stop call her out on all the bad things she's done over the years... While Sanders has a pretty clean history with radical socialist ideas, that I think a majority of the young people want... for some reason I don't really understand.
1084  Other / Politics & Society / Re: AMERICA PRESIDENT WHO YOU PREFER? on: October 10, 2015, 07:17:56 PM
My first choice will be Rand Paul. He will end the rabid political correctness, and he will stop the illegal military interventions to topple regimes around the world. However, there is little chance that he will win the Republican primaries. So my second choice is Donald Trump. He is against political correctness, but I don't fully agree with his foreign policy.

Yeah, I was hoping he was going to get republicans to rally behind him when he did those couple of filibusters, and would see that he represents everything that they would want... but it seems that republicans will always treat the Paul's as some kind of joke, like some crazy conspiracy theorist.

It's a shame that a majority of the republican party is 50 and older, who knows what this country is going to be like in 15-20 years time... Especially if Mr. Sanders gets elected.  This is quite literally the closes we ever had a complete socialist take over the white house.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 10, 2015, 07:13:45 PM
Unless a lot of privacy oriented businesses start accepting XMR, that is.

That should be a primary goal for Monero and other privacy focused coins.

Yeah, but it's not really a matter of a couple of us who are invested into the privacy focused coins to start contacting these businesses and just say "Hey, you need to accept XMR"... I think we need to inform them of what it is and to get them to actually read the documents and white papers that come along with cryptonite currencies.  Until they get some kind of motivation to do so; we won't have any say as to how they handle their business.
1086  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Calling for all foreign parties to join in Jihad against the evil U.S.A. on: October 10, 2015, 07:10:28 PM
The U.S. is an enemy to the entire world including whatever of its own citizens are not complete retards/nut jobs.  Calling for all foreign parties to join in Jihad against the evil U.S.A.  God wants this evil ended.

A world without the United States will be much more peaceful and calm. The Americans have instigated conflicts in all of the continents (with the notable exception of Antarctica) in the world, be it in Asia, Europe or Africa. They are a curse to the humanity and human civilization. I hope that all of them die of AIDS sooner or later.

So you're sitting there telling everyone here that the US is the ONLY ones who have started conflicts in all of the continents? While I do see everyones point in not liking America due to their recent foreign policy errors, I think it's stupid to hate just America and think that we are the only ones who cause conflict... China is hacking into our data bases, Russia is starting back the cold war, etc. etc. There are many reasons why a country does what they do.
1087  Other / Politics & Society / Re: AMERICA PRESIDENT WHO YOU PREFER? on: October 10, 2015, 07:06:03 PM
Trump because only he is the one not owned by anybody
trump because less immigrants and better foreign policy

People like trump, mainly because he gives no fucks and does exactly what he wants and says what is on his mind.  While this may be good in the short run, and funny at first; this will give the other countries of the world an even worse impression of the US... People around the world will start to REALLY hate us once trump tells everyone to go fuck themselves.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 10, 2015, 07:03:43 PM
It’s still very disappointing to see Monero’s price very cheap (due to loss of profit) but at the same time it could be good news as this makes an advantage to invest early on XMR for the next increase in price. I have the sense that next year will be a very good year for Monero. Just wait and see.  Roll Eyes

Personally, I think it's going to take atleast another year for monero's price to go up... We still need to wait until summer time next year for the GUI to come out, and until then there will be no real reason for the price to increase... Unless a lot of privacy oriented businesses start accepting XMR, that is.
1089  Other / Politics & Society / Re: AMERICA PRESIDENT WHO YOU PREFER? on: October 10, 2015, 05:37:47 PM
Wow, no libertarians in here? I vote Rand Paul, even though I know good and well that he isn't going to be elected to run on the republican ticket.

1091  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isle of Man: What is it like there? on: October 10, 2015, 04:49:03 PM
It's probably like England but with less people. They have a great motorcycle race their every year and rumor has it they get visits from UFOs more than many other places on the planet (no joke.)

Do you think the UK doesn't have ridiculous amounts of debt (like the US)? The best protection is developing your own financial security, independent of government control. Personal savings, real estate, other items that can sustain you if the economy fails. Truthfully, bitcoin is not a doomsday currency. If society breaks down it'll be harder to transact with bitcoin because information networks will break down, i.e., your transaction can't hit the blockchain without internet.

Yeah that's true that the US isn't the only place with a lot of debt, but if I'm not mistaken, it's a lot better than here and the UK has a pretty solid political platform right now. Idk I guess I'll have to research it more, I'd just personally would like to try to start a new life somewhere.

Also I read in one of the threads around the forum that there is someone who is trying to raise money to put a satellite out in orbit that is kind of it's own block chain and can transmit transactions over radio waves rather than the internet for dooms day type reasons I believe.

If you need to relocate somewhere you should go visit and stay there for at least a few months, maybe even a year first. I have relocated on a whim and regretted it. Things aren't always what they seem.

As for aisle of Man... It looks BORING! Like seriously nothing going on there. Sheep and farms and little else. If that's your thing by all means go there, but I would go crazy there personally.

As for seeking btc places... Btc is border less man, you can use it anywhere. Just because a place has friendly regulation... I don't see the attraction.

Yeah that's what it seemed like when I looked up pictures of it, but at the same time looks very relaxing.. I'd like to go there if they had like one main city where you can get any shopping done and a local bar or something.  I was pretty curious if I could find someone on here that actually lived there.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 10, 2015, 04:33:37 PM

Is there any summary of they questions and answers?

Buy,buy,buy!

I don't know if anyone bought or not but r/monero has a few more subscribers today.

I was checking the prices to see if a person was really trying to go "all in" on what americanpegasus was selling/marketing, and it only went up a cent... No matter, I believe that if a majority of them start reading more into it and seeing what's at stake, then I think they'll start slowly buying into it.  I think most of them know that the price of any altcoin isn't going to skyrocket when the GUI isn't even out yet, like what americanpegasus pointed out in one of his answers.
1093  Other / Off-topic / Re: What color is this multiple-killing killer's hand? (with POLL) on: October 10, 2015, 05:21:40 AM
Woah man, where was this? That second pic is creepy as hell to me for some reason, but it seems like the killers hand is white... or atleast that's what it seems to me.
1094  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: October 10, 2015, 05:17:12 AM
Yep, I earned some bitcoins today off of a primedice giveaway, but proceeded to take a chance and tried to double it in one shot... Oh well, that's the beauty of giveaways... easy come easy go.

Just saw that I got my bitcoins on there and will now proceed to gamble it all away! Grin Looking forward to more things like this in the future!
1096  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Affirmative action still not good enough. Ban whites from jobs on: October 10, 2015, 04:35:18 AM
Affirmative action still not good enough. White people need to pay for what they done, ban whites from jobs.  Or better yet if y'all ain't black or Mexican gtfo my country.

What good does this do? Seriously, if you want to uphold MLK's standards for living, all people, no matter what race, should have equal opportunity for jobs and opportunities.  What good is it to "punish" white people for the harm they have done in the past. You do realize you are just punishing the sons and daughters of those people who have nothing to do with them in general.  Those sons and daughters are around the age of the millennials, which have a way higher tolerance and understanding for where people come from.

Eye for an eye is what you seem to be wanting to spread... if that were the case the whole world would be blind by now.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero Marketing: Is It Time? on: October 09, 2015, 11:28:18 PM
Heads up:

Over at http://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets I'll be conducting a

HVIAmA (Halloween Video Ask Me Anything) at 1PM ET about Monero

All of my answers will be in the form of videos, and with successive questions participants will unlock new halloween costumes.

This is a subreddit filled with people who like speculative and risky trades on the stock market and has showed a tepid reception to cryptocurrency in the past.  My job will be to convince them that Monero is not a scam, and is a genuine and honest project filled with good intentions.  It might be risky, but it's legit as it gets.

If you have the time, tune in.

Very entertaining!
https://twitter.com/XMRpromotions/status/652614168978165762

Just started reading the thread on there and it's awesome so far! Americanpegasus will definitely need to be apart of the monero marketing team when it comes down to it in the near future.
1098  Other / Politics & Society / Isle of Man: What is it like there? on: October 09, 2015, 10:58:16 PM
So I live in the US and want to move somewhere new.  I really do see the US going down hill from here on out, with trillions of dollars in debt, distrust of government, loss of trust in the dollar, etc. etc.

I'm not a programmer or a bitcoin guru by any means, but I like to use the currency and think it's a good investment as of right now.  If I work in the health care field, would I have a very bright future there?  I'd like to move to a country that has a bright future ahead, and because of the fact that I think cryptocurrencies in general have a bright future, I would want to move there if the island is known as the "safe haven" for that.  I do not like being under regulation here in the states and would want to make the move in the upcoming 5 or so years.

But the question is, how is the government there? How are the people like? Does anyone on this forum actually live there now? What can people on here tell me about the Isle of Man?

1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 09, 2015, 11:53:13 AM

I seem to have acquired more Monero while I was sleeping Smiley

Haha, nice! Do you just set it on auto bet and leave it going all night long? Risky move, but if you profited, good for you! Wink

Hopefully some more casinos will adopt XMR/be made for XMR... I think that is one of the key ingredients for any coin to become successful.
1100  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Legalize Marijuana, Illegalize Fissibles on: October 09, 2015, 11:44:21 AM
I believe that more research needs to be done with marijuana before it gets legalized fully, especially if it were to be used for recreational use.  I used to smoke all the time back in high school and college, and it was nice and stabled my mood, but it did become a bit habit forming for me and noticed that I would become a little depressed if I didn't have some when I got home from a stressful day.

Now I know what you all are thinking. marijuana isn't habit forming! I know, but for those who have addiction in their families like I do (not to mention bipolarism) then it's harmful to some people.

I think in the long run, just the canabanoid oil that seems to be the beneficial component for medical reasons will be legalized to make on a federal level to treat certain illnesses... but it's going to be hard to get a lot of people on board with the complete legalization of it for recreation, because of the fact that the baby boomers are still around and have the Nixon mentality of the "War on drugs" still in their mind.  I would like to use again if I could grab a little every now and then, like I do with alcohol, but until it becomes out for safe public consumption, I won't touch it.
