1501  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: September 04, 2016, 02:56:41 PM
Even if I will like to receive my salary in bitcoin right now is not very convenient to me since there is not a lot of places in which I can spend the bitcoin instead of Fiat.
For now but you can be still exchange bitcoin in to fiat instantly.. just like here in my country we can exchange bitcoin instantly so there is no worry to receive bitcoin as salary.. unlike other countries i think there still not have a good site are giving good benefits that you can withdraw your bitcoin instantly to your banks..
Exactly and you will need to convert the bitcoins into fiat for daily spending .
If you have shops near your house that accepts bitcoins for example I want to have a coffee then also I have to use fiat so well, currently its not possible but I think n near future we all might be using bitcoins as a salary or part or salary.

I will accept bitcoin as my salary too, it's better I think than just fiat money since it has high value from time to time so it's very suitable as savings and there's no obstacle to us for convert bitcoin into fiat money in my country or even another country because the exchangers already exist worldwide to facilitate exchange to local currency. Furthermore, there are a lot of online stores that accepted bitcoin as payment that you can shopping spree there.

1502  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: September 04, 2016, 01:41:28 PM
Advice, tips, speculation please.

options that you have:
* hold it until after the halving
* start trading bitcoin/usd or bitcoin/altcoin
* invest in casino bankroll
* give loans here or on btcjam
* search the forum for where to invest Cheesy
*** research before you invest

It's a good thing that you have that amounts of bitcoin and the price keep increasing every year which is good to hold it  for several years as investment. But if you want monthly income from that BTC12, I strongly agree with herbert options like invest in casino bankroll that you can check here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.0 or else if you good at gambling just give it a shot but remember the consequence of get lose.
1503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 04, 2016, 01:17:40 PM
I doubt that will be the case at least in our current time, I think bitcoin can change the way money and economy works but banks are an established part of it, I think it would be more reasonable for bitcoin "banks" to appear sometime in the future when bitcoin is more mainstream.

Let's say Bitcoin does very well, and manages to reach 1% of the world population to adopt Bitcoin at some point, then still there are the other 99% where banks play a very important role in their life. Bitcoin won't even make a dent in the bank's way of doing business and how they exist. People must forget about that.
Banks has established around 8 centuries ago and still here until now with great foundation. I agree bitcoin can change the economy and how currencies works but won't replace banks because they could make a change to adoption bitcoin. Some banks will benefit from bitcoin, some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear. It may happen in 10-20 years for banks accept bitcoin and still depend on which country you stay because every country has the regulation.

1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: September 02, 2016, 05:41:35 PM

Trading is not considered as gambling even both have the same risk on losing your money but on trading you could minimize the risk by studying trading techniques.

It is considered because there are money involved that will earn or lose.

The difference is, you can't purely rely on luck in trading since you can play with the price volatility compare to gambling where you will face the house edge of those gambling games that uses that one.

And techniques really a must but also you have to build experience as that is they key for a person to become a good trader.
Trading gives a great opportunity to earn and the longer we trade the more we learn base on our experience while in gambling the longer we stay to play the more we become fool, the real chance is in trading but it is not a guaranteed money as you need to learn it to earn it.
Because trading have the same risk and we could loss the money it could consider as a kind of gambling. Even we could minimize the risk by studying trading techniques, it the same way with gambling that you should learning and get experiences about it to increase your chances to win.
1506  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: September 02, 2016, 01:55:42 PM
Invest your money in bitcoin is a good way whether it's for short term or long term investment. Although it's only 1 BTC investment, but it's a good move to start. Though you might won't have a huge profit later.
I am agree with you investing your money in bitcoin is a good choice where you can easily say that i let my money work for me , but if you are going to invest your money or bitcoin in long term of investment thats the wrong move because some investment website are not that live long where they are turning into scam that fast.
How long did you mean? I believe who had 1BTC a few years ago could say it's a good long term investment because the price has significant increasing. I think it's a good decision to buy 1BTC and hold it as long term investment, we will see the value rise next year as years before.
1507  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: September 02, 2016, 03:08:45 AM
dont hope to buy bitcoin for $100/btc
price bitcoin is very hard down to $100/btc
I dont think the price of bitcoin is down to $100

the price is definitely never going to go down that much in the near future, in my  opinion the price of the bitcoin is going to be going only up now

I think so, nowadays there are many people, business, stores, and company using bitcoin and invest on it so it hardly to say bitcoin would decline to $100. But if bitcoin price at $100, maybe I would buy it depend on the situation. For now, we just hope bitcoin will continues to increase.
1508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: September 02, 2016, 12:54:01 AM
Hey Guys,

what would be your opinion if there would been Bitcoin shops in big cities like London, Berlin or Paris (also smaller cities).
So you could go inside the shop and buy or sell Bitcoin for a good price.

I think it would be an good (and an advantage) idea because more people would use Bitcoin so the price would rise up and the people who are owning Bitcoins at the moment would have more money in Bitcoins. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley

Yeah, it would be a good thing to have bitcoin as payment wherever we go in big cities or small cities. So bitcoin will has more users worldwide and increasing the price. Moreover it's more safely using bitcoin as payment since it's invisible to the eyes of thieves and we don't have to carry a lot of cash, just a few in case.
1509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 31, 2016, 02:28:29 PM
its just going to wreck your life most of the time and i wouldnt expect to get rich with it or something like that

Exactly it is just going to wreck your life no matter what you are going to play safe as long as you are not able to control your emotion and you don't have a good bankroll management then for sure you are going to be bankrupt at all. And don't wait to the point that you are going to sell everything that you own just to satisfy your gambling addiction.

True, theres no such things same as being rich on doing gambling itself excluded on to those  who won in jackpot on lottery. Playing gambling on the long run wouldnt even give you a good thing on your  life but  misery and depressions because you could possibly lose  all your assets, belongings and even your family when you let gambling would destroy your life.

There are some people get rich by gambling, two kind of person they are:
1. the house or site owner
2. expert gamblers
gambling designed to made much profits for the owner of course, but I've seen some people who made big profits by gambling, on card game (poker, blackjack), dice, and sports betting. They're in this forum to share, just check on gambling thread there are some evidence of it.
1510  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did I tell you? BTC will stay down under $600 on: August 25, 2016, 01:32:24 PM
just wait until the end of the year to make sure your prediction is right. because I think the potential to rise above $600 is huge for this year, even easy to achieve in the coming months.

end of the year is 4 months away and in these 4 months a lot of things can happen with bitcoin which can make the price go up again at least above $600.
this is why i never like the long term exact predictions about bitcoin, you can only talk about short term with bitcoin.
Well, the assume need some evidence if bitcoin will going to decrease or increase, keep in the level lower than $600 for the end this year I think could happen, but looking at the history and the price keep rising, if there are no trouble like before it might be reach $600, because this weeks bitcoin price around $540-580, it's possible for sure.
1511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: August 25, 2016, 06:20:54 AM
The worst mistake is when i play the dice game and then i play with 90% winning chance with small bet, after i got bored because the payment is quite small so i change from auto bet to manual bet, and click the max button, i thought that i still bet with 90% chance, but in the manual bet it is 50% winning chance and then i am busted lost 0.02 in one bet

Oh well that is really worst, why not you have save half of your winnings and keep on betting for small amount with that 90% chance.

That is already a big amount that you have lost 0.02 btc for just one bet. I know that thought you a lesson that if you are getting bored.

Don't risk your btc that day.
Yah, it's quite dangerous if we got bored with small profits and the greediness take over want more profits, so all in and then it lose in the blink of an eye. I think that's how gambling works, small bet and get small profits makes us want more, game of chance and luck usually lead us to lose.  That's why I like poker, blackjack and sports betting, chance of win depends on your experiences, knowledge and some skills.
1512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: August 24, 2016, 02:20:14 PM
Many people said the gambling is just a game and another people said it is Investment. How do you think?  Roll Eyes

It's just a game. As long as you are thinking that way you are fine, but when you start thinking it's a way to make money you are in big trouble.

I know no one who's seeing gambling as an investment, except you invest in a gambling site.

Since gambling designed to make us lose, just a few of people get advantages of it, like the house. Gambling for fun will be okay, as long as we don't want more and more, to become greedy. I know some people could made some good profits there, but in my mind gambling like go to some place and give all your money for nothing, if you don't have plan.
1513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: August 23, 2016, 03:51:09 PM
Gambling is never easy to just give up on the spot. It is take patience and determination to quit.
It is probably the hardest thing for many too do and some usually don't until they have lost it all and can never recover. Lips sealed
People who have addicted to gambling should think that's not so easy to quit and hard to give advice for someone like that.
They couldn't stop it because winning makes them greedy and loses like something to paid, that keep people always coming to play again and again.
1514  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Gambling Discrimination on: August 21, 2016, 04:06:48 PM
Have you ever experienced discrimination as a gambler like people are saying a bunch of hurtful stuffs about your gambling hobby.

AND WHAT DO YOU DO IN THESE KIND OF SITUATION?
It depends on which country you live and how much you win or loss. If you live in countries that legalize gambling and get more win than lose, you might not be discriminated and if there are people cursing those who gamble, just said you win and its legal. But, different stories if you're in countries that do not legalize gambling and get more losess. Just stay away, it may ruin your life.
1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: August 16, 2016, 06:15:01 PM
There will never be a cryptocurrency that can compete with bitcoin, no competition yeah no and with the time will pass 5-20 year more, bitcoin will be still number one. I don't want to predict the price that would be achieved but one thing we still have a chance to seeing the price in the moon.
For now, it looks like bitcoin has no coin competitor. Many people know about it and bitcoin get more famous everyday.
More investor or company invest on bitcoin makes it price rise or fall, it keep fluctuate. Bitcoin has proven could last for years now and the value has pretty nice increasing every year.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your aim in gambling???? on: August 16, 2016, 09:54:41 AM
Just to have fun and entertainment but never to support any of my needs. Gambling is good as long as you know how to have control of yourself. Depending on gambling for profit is a very dangerous road to tread on
Gambling is dangerous if you don't know how to handle yourself in playing this kind of activity, because once we enter gambling, we all know that there are always risk and there are always a possibility for us to lose money because we all know that there is a money involve here and if we don't know how to control our self we will absolutely lose money, time and effort here.
To get profits of course, but it's hard when you don't know how to win it. So it just gambling for fun, test our luck.
I bet high only if I know how it works or after analyzed the game, big profits come with big capital.
But it's so risky to put big amount without knowledge and experiences, many of my gambling just for fun too with small bet.
1517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: August 16, 2016, 07:42:23 AM
Gambling is made for adults usually, but we see some kids started to use it and i think it's bad behavior, because there is a risk they become addicted gamblers.
kids mind is unstable , that is why most of the teens gambles but gambling was meant only for 18+, teens get addicted to gambling and you can see the stats that every 1 out of 4 teen in US do gambling.
Even 18+ kids are not really that good in decision making, what really makes our emotion strong and to control it is when we have a lot of experience already, for a young gambling like 18 years old, i think he has no experience yet in problems in life especially in gambling.
Gambling could be done by kids, but it's not made for kids of course. We agreed that gambling is bad behavior and not for kids below 18+, even 18+ not really good to make decisions in gambling and could end ruin their life. So it's their parents responsibility to give advice to stay away from gambling
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: August 15, 2016, 06:51:16 AM
hi guys, i bought 1BTC today and i am wondering to gamble or to invest the 1btc?

if to gamble

best site to gamble with a really nice provably fair..

and if to invest.

best investment program wherein no scam.

thank you for your opinions guys

cheers
for me if you already bought 1 bitcoin then don't gamble it because you just want to double it as fast as you can no just hold it and learn the currency of bitcoin it is more reliable if you choose investment or trading , trading is one of the best one i can suggest for now because it is easy to use if you have knowledge in trading Smiley don't invest your money and dont take any risk

By gambling it you sure take risk to get good prodit but sure it is high risk, by investing your bitcoin it sure take some tisk to get your profit too eventhough trading also risk your money too so there is no way you can earn money without risk on itm the problem is high risk to get huge payout or low risk and low payout. People always want to earn good amount with small balance and that is impossible then
I agree that invest your bitcoin whether saving it and wait untill the rise of value, or invest on gambling sites as bankroll are better than just gamble your fund that could get lose it in blink of an eye. In this forum there are some people who shares their investment experiences and get some good profits, but of course there are some risky to invest, just prepare to deal with it.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This Is Why I Love Gambling On Sports... on: August 12, 2016, 09:28:27 AM
How many btc you have earned so far on sports betting, do you mind to share this to us? Maybe you can open thread about soccer betting tips to make money, cheers.

Well I have earned so far for 0.05 with sports betting when I was still active on it. But every time I'm losing I tend to quit for some days and until now I can't able to get back again because I'm afraid to lose and now focusing on trading. Even someone is going to share their tips here it is still going to be on your luck.

Many gambling maybe depend on your luck, but is that true? Gambling on sports betting depends on the ability to analyze of each person, even the result back to your luck. On sports betting I always comparing the two teams in the previous match, sometimes it easy to predict which team will win so I bet higher and vice versa.
1520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will reach $4000 after halving ? on: August 12, 2016, 07:11:43 AM
That $4000 price is possible, maybe after three halving events, about 12 years from now. A lot of things can happen during that period of time and one can only guess that there will be ups and downs, good news and bad news, hacking and more altcoins folding. Would be nice to know what bitcoin's status would be by then.

It maybe about 12 years later, if the price increase around $300 every year so bitcoin possibly can be reach $4000.
All we have to do make bitcoin famous in worldwide and more invest to bitcoin.
