IMET's name came up again, so I stated the fact that the printed circuit boards IMET was responsible for work just fine and the claims that AMT keeps making are simply untrue.  The problem with the overall system is thermal and mechanicals that IMET was NOT responsible for.  AMT deleted this post very quickly.  AMT, cease and desist on this public deformation.  I am only posting here because of the deletion.

Here's another picture of shipments and boxes.  They were shipped out. They were delayed in hong kong. Some clients have already received them. NOT ALL OF OUR CLIENTS CONSIST OF THE 20 PEOPLE THAT READ THIS THREAD.

Again, we are working hard to get everyone their machines and eventually going to try and upgrade people. Some nicer clients have recieved cloud hashing compensation while they wait for their machines. We're doing what we can and we are doing it on a dime because of IMETs fuck up and because of Lenell bullshit and because of our poor decision making skills. STOP writing shit, stop complaining, work with us to get what you want or keep up the crap

Why dont you guys buy some more hardware, we're selling again to try and bring in revenue to help fulfill MPP right.  Or keep complaining and trashing our rep, either way its beyond us at this point.

Thanks

AMT.

Once again, IMET was responsible for PCB Assembly only.  There is nothing wrong with the PCBs.

Tom, why don't you refund us for your faulty hardware so we can refund our clients that want refunds.

I don't know how else to state this.  IMET was responsible for PCB Assembly only.  There is nothing wrong with the PCBs.

so you're actually claiming responsibility for the PCB assembly that looks like it was done by a 3 year.  Thermal paste smeared everywhere.  The guy that did it had to have been drunk, or perhaps a trained chimp.   There were also improperly soldered chips, ie.. non-functioning, and when viewed under magnification, the solder job is obviously the problem.

bold move IMET.
Application of thermal paste and mechanical assembly including mounting boards to heatsinks was not Imet's responsibility.  All soldering meets IPC class 2 and inspection was done by trained personal.  Everything was in order when delivered to AMT.  The likely cause of your boards not working is overheat.  The heatsinks used on the top of the ASICS are not adequate to dissipate the required 30 percent.

Stan-O didn't you order a technobit designed AMT miner?

Did IMET produce those boards or just the Bitmain boards?

I think all his hard (FREE) work

I'm certainly not trying to be a douche here but it could be argued that he is not working for free but instead working for free miners.  A mans gotta eat, I get that and don't have an issue with it at all.  I just don't think the forum should add any weight to it by stickying it, it can stand on its own merits IMO.

Will a 6-30R male fit into a L6-30R or the reverse or are they mutually exclusive? If at all possible I would like to choose a connector that I can power a pdu, power

As a point of clarity the 6-30R male you ask about is technically a 6-30P

A 6-30P will not plug directly into an L6-30R, but you can easily buy/make an adapter cable that is 6-30R to L6-30P which would allow you to plug a 6-30P plug into an L6-30R receptacle.  The cord cap can easily be swap on any device as can just the receptacle if you don't want to buy or make an adapter cable.

How many times should I vote in the poll thread???

Polls are another joke on this site, with the site admin encouraging alt accounts I can't imagine it is very accurate one way of the other.
1525  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: August 10, 2014, 01:16:02 AM
Didn't they ship ALL MINERS two weeks ago?

Everyone will have their miners in 5-7 daysTM.

It's probably Clenells fault...
1526  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: August 09, 2014, 11:55:22 PM
So did anyone get the cloud mining for 1TH?
I did and it mostly was a good 900-1100ghs. That is it was until Friday when it went poof... Huh
Is back up now.

Not for me....still down.
I haven't gotten any. Send message to amt with pool info, but got nothing.

Nothing here also, not even a response! He said they had seven more spots available. I was the first to respond. No reply at all!

I am into this for 12k! Two 1.2 th machines! I worked very hard for that money!! And Nothing to show for it, SEVEN Months later!!

The lower machines are getting upgrades and we get nothing! Come on! We spent more money and waited the same amount of time!!!

Seems to me for every 1.2 th machine we should get one for free.

Technically, we should be upgraded to the 2.4TH, but that won't roi so we should be upgraded to the 3.2 th, but that won't ROI so really we should get at least 1 3.2 and one 1.2 for every order for him to fulfill the MPP as it is written on the site.

That should secure close to ROI in the 6 month time frame specified.

Agreed, but considering the situation, I doubt we will get even that. Unless the suit somehow pulls that. If he plans on going bankrupt, then the company goes into receivership. Worst case someone will go after him criminally (because at this point it could be held like that) and his personal assets would be seized. It would behoove AMT to actually make this happen asap instead of any more delays. There really is no way moving on to the next thing can be an option until they do something to correct the current mess. Walking away from this just won't happen.

It's been mildly amusing to say the least to watch AMT threaten everyone with bankruptcy.  One free tiny little piece of advice on that score AMT be very careful what you wish for LMFAO, you think it's bad now, wait till you go down that road boys.

BTW Opieum2, look up piercing the corporate veil and what it says about under capitalizing a company.  Since AMT needed and used pre-order funds to start the company there is a very good chance their personal assets are already on the line.  It only gets worse and easier to go after them personally if they try to walk.
1527  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Petition to sticky Dogies manufacturer trsutworthiness guide!! on: August 09, 2014, 11:41:43 PM
if dogies opinion can be wrong and/or he could be paid off.

If its 'wrong', disagree with me. And I'm probably the last person you can pay off. I'm not saying there shouldn't be others doing the same, but the smaller the guide owner, the easier it is to pay them off.

IMO we shouldn't be stickying anything that is constantly changing, debatable, and full of opinions.

I tend to agree, simply put it's too subjective.  I think newbs should be encouraged to use his guide because IMO it's the best we got ATM.  The potential for abuse, conflict of interest and it's opinion based scoring systems leads me to believe it should be left to stand on it's own merit as a thread and not stickied.

People shouldn't be looking for a simple opinion based guide to tell them what to buy, we should be encouraging them (like the caveat emptor thread does) to do their own research and formulate their own opinion, but I guess in this day and age of instant gratification everyone wants someone else to tell them what there opinion is so they can be done with it, so ya fuck it just sticky it already.

I'm sure it will be here tomorrow though, I can feel it in my heart!

Well?

Alas my heart was broken as another day has elapsed without my precious miner!

But that's ok this time I can feel it in my bones that it will be delivered tomorrow, it could be my arthritis though, and surely they wouldn't wish to break my bones!

In the EXTREMELY unlikely event you don't get you miner today (I mean they sent you your tracking number obviously  Wink) and you suffer some added medical costs as a result of the broken bones I suggest trying to claim it back from AMT under the MPP.   Wink Wink

AMT continues their hypocritical behavior. Calls a customer a "douche bag", yet deletes a post calling them the same thing.

Lets post some more pictures so we can make clenell look like a douche bag.

You took $6000 in payment, and you might deliver a $1000 machine. You treated most of your customers like ass with lies and failed promises. You'll always be a far bigger douche than clenell could ever be.

Is it any wonder they deleted your post?  You're basically giving away their ONLY IP for free.  I hope you can't sleep at night knowing that you are now responsible for destroying AMT's business...  Well not entirely your fault, I mean PG, Clenell and IMET also helped ruin AMT.  Hell if it wasn't for you lot AMT would have delivered on time, in spec and would be a dominant market force instead of the complete and utter fucking joke it is today. Wink

This is the kind of innovation AMT brings to the table, I am waiting with baited breath for their next innovation, I bet it will be something never before seen like re-selling cloud mining contracts or re-selling bare chips, whatever it is it'll be AWESOME we know that from their history!!!!!  Cheesy
1532  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: July 28, 2014, 02:08:04 AM
The refusal to produce tracking numbers (with a bizarre excuse of fear of "trouble makers") is another image buster. If the backlog is being cleared, why not publish the list of all the orders, with tracking numbers, and their status?

Not publicly providing tracking numbers is a good idea that isn't information any company should release, but the excuse of not providing it directly to each client because of "potential trouble makers" seems somewhat bizarre to say the least.
1533  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: July 27, 2014, 01:23:24 PM
Not sure who figured it was a good idea on a public forum to allow a company to "self moderate" a thread but man it sure doesn't take much to imagine that such an ability might get misused...

It was ckolivas who told them to lock the original thread and start a new self moderated thread.

While I agree it was definitely silly for Conman to suggest closing the original and opening a new SM thread and it's pretty likely the AMT guys aren't quite sharp enough to have figured it out on their own, It's still Admins fault for allowing SM threads in the first place.

It's like Deadwood here man, I've been here a while and it's still all completely foreign and fucking weird to me...
1534  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: July 27, 2014, 02:55:57 AM
Any posts (like ones insulting others, racist, or just general offtopic items) should go away.

should be handled by the mods

That isn't how it works here in Deadwood.  Fucked up? Yup but that's just the way it is.

Of course now all their employees except BCP19 are sitting around shooting the breeze waiting for God to fix their Revision Z boards so have time to do "speedy RMAs".

But I'm not bitter or anything  Roll Eyes Cry

Are you kidding me, the plants probably running 24/7 pumping out unsellable 300gh/s cards for the farm... Wink
1536  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: July 24, 2014, 11:34:23 AM
Also, left out of MANY of these conversations is the RECOVERIES.   When companies are UNDERCAPITALIZED, the shareholders can sometimes be personally liable.     There is that money.   Notice all the employees that were shareholders?   Plus, there is a good chance some of the money that was paid out can be recovered by the estate.

I'm actually quite surprised no one is talking more about this.  I mentioned undercap as a reason to pierce the corporate veil MONTHS ago (and have talked about it in a lot of different manufactures threads as all the pre-order schemes seem to have undercap'd their start ups.)

Has HF surrendered their books to the court?  Has an independent auditor looked at them yet?  Has this request been made by the creditors, is that type of request even an option?  There seems to be a lot of unaccounted for monies, I am curious why more people are not actively asking WHERE THE FUCK did the money go and how much of it can the estate get back.  Seems to me something that should be done early on.

What public assets do the owners have, anyone do any digging on that yet?

Does the LB proposal let Simon and Edaurdo "off the hook" in terms of liabilities?  If it does then why are they willing to do this?
1537  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hopefully starting up, have questions about hardware. on: July 14, 2014, 10:23:19 PM
If profit is your only motivation I can't understand why anyone would buy hardware for XBTC (or equivalent fiat) when in all likely hood the hardware will produce less than XBTC in it useful lifetime.

Since ASIC mining hit the scene there have been no miners (except an extremely small handful of units) sold in a retail capacity that have mined more BTC then they cost (or could have been bought with the fiat used for the hardware purchase).

Buy and hold, so much less risk and much more reward should BTC price rise.  Less risk more reward, that's an investors dream sentence...
1538  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: July 11, 2014, 09:36:21 PM

They have single handedly killed their company, there will be no Blackarrow this time next year, mark my words.

Why would you think they will no longer be around?  They managed to secure a very large interest free loan to develop and build miners.  They can now build out a farm using @ cost matrix to mine.  I think they will be able to mine with @ cost gear while continuing to increase their personal hashrate for quite some time to come.  They got what they needed from the community (surprisingly interest free loans are pretty easy to get if you just say your going to make miner), if there not mental retards they should easily be able to use that capital to mine themselves profitably for quite some time.
1539  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: July 06, 2014, 04:17:58 PM
Who is with me in contacting the other legitimate ASIC resellers and seeing if they will help support us in pursuing legal action? As part of the Bitcoin community, we need to stick together here and weed out scams like this one.

Let's agree on a list of potential resellers and manufactures to contact. Maybe the Bitcoin Foundation could help as well?

The first time I read this post it was funny. The second time I read it, it was funnier. The third read-through was even funnier. The forth...

After the ninth read, I emailed it to Saturday Night Live to hopefully have them write a script around it. Worst case scenario it'll be too funny for their standards.

That said, you've been reported to themos for writing funny shit and will probably be banned for being too funny.

Weeding out scams! Seriously? That's why Matt Carson was put in place as a reseller in Colorado: To Weed Out!, bud.

Name one entity that the Bitcoin Foundation has investigated as a scam to protect the community.

Name one Bitcoin miner provided, whether operating honestly or not (most of the former), that gives a damn as to how their counterparts are performing, hence won't left a finger to help because they're in the process of operating their own scam.

Yep! Funny shit!

Serious question, PG is that you?  Cause you sound an awful like PG trying not to sound like PG.
1540  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 30, 2014, 12:21:17 PM
Not sure what you all are so excited about. Assuming you pay $0.1 per kwh the antminer s3 will only make 0.5669 BTC before it becomes obsolete (~160 days).  This assumes an average increase of 20% in difficulty.

It's been said a million times that basically mining is a bet against difficulty increase.  From a strictly profit PoV the risk outweighs the possible rewards by several magnitudes.  It amazes me soooooooo many people are willing to take such a lopsided gamble but am sort of glad they do as it all contributes to the network!
