BTW, does anyone find it annoying that stadium dj keeps playing hindi songs despite Indian team not playing?
99.99% of spectators are Desis and Afghanis so Bollywood songs make more sense. I wasn't talking about particularly this match, we hear desi songs in all matches. Why not you apply for the DJ position and suggest here before you apply what song you would want to play? The common sense here is that they are not playing for international audience. I was under the impression that DJs play songs for teams playing and not only for spectators.

Afghanistan makes 244, unfortunately Hazmat couldn't make century and stayed not-out at 97. They managed to score good total despite having a poor start. SA is having to bat second, let's see how they do

|
|
Undoubtedly, just as Afghanistan is playing with the reality against South Africa today, Pakistan will have to play with the reality against England that they will not be able to qualify for the semi-finals in any way.
They have got hope, especially if they get to bat first, I really hope they do get to bat first. Zaman, Babar, Rizwan, Iftikar — 400+ target is entirely possible. BTW, does anyone find it annoying that stadium dj keeps playing hindi songs despite Indian team not playing?

- Always calculate your loss before profit: when you trade with what you can afford to lose, it is near impossible for your emotions not to be in check.
This is true, whenever I traded with amounts that I was not willing to use, I was emotional about the trade, and was constantly looking at it , and those shivers if pnl was in minus Meanwhile, whenever I open trade with amount I could afford to lose, those trades stay open for long. For example, just yesterday I closed my ethereum position which was open for more than 6 months.

I often read people saying they want to earn enough money so they don't have to look at price tag of product. Imo, even if you are rich you wouldn't want to spend money on things that are not worthy of price being paid.
You wanna look at product and then it's price, if it's worthy of price, you purchase the product.

In developed countries there are people who are well versed into crypto jargon, we have several old members here on this forum as well. In developing countries meanwhile I do not think this is possible as most are not familiar with mobile/internet in first place, using Bitcoin comes later.
So latter is excluded completely, while former, those countries are still deliberating on proper regulations despite population into it, so until regulations are place, it's no too. Without proper regulation, they won't do something like paying pension with BTC anyway. Personally tho, crypto requires good security practices, there are few places where Bitcoin accepted, to sell Bitcoin for fiat, taking care of transaction fees at the times like right now — honestly it feels so unnecessary right now.

^ Still it'll be interesting game if Pakistan wins the toss, they will go aggressive from the start (like Zaman against NZ) and if it works out well we might see 400+ target, looking at England's current form, they just might win.
One of few times, I'll be excited who wins the toss.
Pakistan need one more win before winning the match against England and that win is to win the toss although winning the toss is totally depends on luck still Pakistani fans will definitely want Pakistan to win the toss today against England. Winning the toss will make it very easy for Pakistan to qualify for the semi finals but not at all but Pakistan will have a chance. We saw Pakistan batting aggressively against New Zealand, if Pakistan can bat aggressively after winning the toss against England and bowl England out within 150 runs with a target of 400 plus runs then Pakistan will have a chance to go to the semi finals. Equations are as simple as reality for us but as difficult, first win the toss then batting very aggressively and there may be many things in between which we are not mentioning now but Pakistan will play a good match against England today for sure. Bruh today we have SA vs Afghanistan

Suppose, a wallet has 1 BTC then he'd be having 1 BTC on original network and 1 BTC on Lightning network as well. When user spends from either, balance will be deducted simultaneously from both networks, so original amount remains same. No conversion involved.
This should avoid congestion as people will use LN as it has cents fee.
What do you think? Any good?
|
|
|
Yeah well, such fees will be stopping new people from getting into/using BTC as well, who want to pay $10 fees for a transaction? Lightning isn't widely adopted yet and not all exchanges support it, some like Binance recently added it's support but they require kyc.
High fees help with security and help miners feed their families is not worthy argument, imo.

Oh I thought it'd more like Bitcoin transaction fee stuff/scaling issues. Democracy and capitalism are not perfect, but we all want them. Why? Why don't we ditch democracy and practice a perfect system instead? If there was better system than what is available right now, then certainly it'd have been implemented. What I believe is, human being himself is by nature imperfect, so his discoveries can't be perfect.

Since India has not been defeated in a single game in the tournament league matches. Does anyone here think or have a notion that they might not be able to qualify for the Finals? Or anyone here have an intuition that they might lose for the first time in the Finals? The team that will be playing against the Indian team has not yet qualified. In my opinion, it will be either Pakistan or New Zealand and I have an intuition that it will be the Kiwis. What do you guys think?
I think it'll be kiwis too, however I want to see Pak, but for that they will have to win against England by huge margin, as I heard in commentary they must win by 273 runs if they were to defend the target (not sure about chasing) — which sounds like an impossible task. Personally, I don't think NZ has chance against India, so probably we'll do fine in semis, but in finals we'll likely get Aussies. Although, India defeated them fine during start of wc and even in last game it was one man show and rest of batters failed, still I feel like Aussies could be trouble.

They had arbitrum odeyssey similar campaign named moonbeam harvest moon a while back, I got their ultimate nft, no one purchases it, I expected something from it, specially when you had to use real funds.
This was the only time I tried their blockchain and experience was meh. There is nothing new about all these copy-cats of ethereum.

Does anyone know for certain if the snapshot has been taken? I'm contemplating getting active with Layerzero usage but there's plenty speculations that the snapshot might probably been taking already. We saw the same with Celestia that took snapshot around January '23 but only announced the airdrop in September - October? I haven't been active for a while on L0 but don't want to miss out either.
No one would know. But if I were to guess, it's taken.

Indian estimates according to my experience, it's huge country prices vary a lot.
In hotels you can get full size meal for about $2 (search Indian thali for image on Google). Most Vegetables start with 0.25 USD/KG. Rice-lentils start from 0.50 USD/KG (depends on quality, branded items cost more), milk 0.6 USD/KG.
Fast food costs 0.36 USD/plate, some items half of it.
Average income about 250 USD.
If you watch westerners exploring India on YouTube , you'll get better idea.

I've been there, albeit in alts, had it been btc I wouldn't regret it as much. In previous bull markets I held alts for too long that either they went dead or significantly down to never recover again to their previous heights.
What I said happens with alts and not with BTC that's good thing about it.
|
|
|
With that amount, I'd be extra cautious with everything, will do 50-50 in btc and ethereum and put it in hardware wallet, when it'd feel like market is significantly down and low chance for further dips, I'd convert some to stable coin and rebuy later.
Edit: alts only? 100% in ether and stake it on non-custodian staking provider.

SL 107-7, again crumbling badly, NZ gonna surely win this by huge margin and may be the one qualifying for semis well.
Good thing from SL inning today was Perera's fifty.
