Meanwhile, England playing at ~6 RR (115/2, 20 overs) and they are up for a fight, looking at batting lineup left specially Ben Stokes, England might be able to give lead of 150-200 runs for India's second inning.

England inning is downhill since then, lost three more wickets without scoring much, run rate also has plummeted down a lot, Ben Stokes also gone, now if they are able to give 100 runs lead it'll be a W for them, that too I think will largely depend on O Pope's wicket, he goes and this match is done for.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Claim $WEN airdrop if you are active on Solana on: January 27, 2024, 08:46:40 AM
Edited the post to mention cut-off time, since unclaimed $WEN are going to be burned, and I expect some amount to be left unclaimed so we might see a pump when cut-off happens.

If good amount of people don't claim it, we could see supply shrinking a lot from its 1T total supply and see a significant pump.

$WEN is perfect ticker they could find for a memecoin, so a good job on that.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops speculations thread on: January 27, 2024, 07:56:15 AM
It's speculation, you may or may not get anything for this donation. In past, several projects rewarded to Gitcoin donors, although this is not Gitcoin but there is possibility that you could be rewarded for your donation, it's not same as buying the token at all.
So the job is just to donate? then the reward is their token. What if someone makes a larger donation, is the reward commensurate with what they spend? This is a rare and strange method and you need to be careful because you have to spend money to get rewards

Yes, your job is to donate 1 USD, as I said it's speculation they may reward donators with their token or they may not, please bear in mind while donating that your donation could go in vain and you may get nothing.

What I thought will happen today. Sir Jadeja will make a century, Axar will make fifty, Jadeja-Axar will make partnership of 100 runs and India will give lead of 200 runs,

And what happens? None that I expected, not a single one.

Meanwhile, England playing at ~6 RR (115/2, 20 overs) and they are up for a fight, looking at batting lineup left specially Ben Stokes, England might be able to give lead of 150-200 runs for India's second inning.

^  Is it even possible to get eligibility just from Galxe and Zealy?  I've seen some airdrop guys with thousands of followers say it's possible but I'm not so sure.  Seems like it's too easy.  And even if it's possible, what kind of projects would do it?  I don't think tier 1 projects would.  But maybe if it's Galxe plus some exclusive testnet or quest then yeah.

Yea, Galx/Zealy are waste almost always, you are better off putting this effort elsewhere, yes there might be few projects giving reward to these two but if you put the same effort elsewhere you can get better reward.

On this note, I think Linea farmed the community way too much with their quests, let's see if they do retrodrop and if it's going to be worthwhile for the effort and money involved.

Quote
And btw...  I completed Kroma's quests and got the final NFT sitting in my wallet.  This thing better be worth my while as completing the quest was really stressful.  Just lots of stuff to figure out.

But yeah, at first I thought it was some kind of cheap rollup but looking more into it, I found out that they're backed by a web3 gaming company called Wemade.  But they're doing it through their subsidiary in crypto called Wemix.

Good luck with Kroma!

I'd suggest donating 1$ in $MATIC to Timeswap here: https://giveth.io/donate/timeswap

They have $TIME token confirmed and donating could potentially make you eligible for $TIME airdrop. $1 is small donation, wouldn't put a dent in your wallet while earning potential is huge.

I just discovered this airdrop style which is a little different from what I often find because the task is very different from other airdrop tasks. By donating $1 I get the token, I think it's the same as buying the token, right? Sorry I asked like that because I lack extensive knowledge

It's speculation, you may or may not get anything for this donation. In past, several projects rewarded to Gitcoin donors, although this is not Gitcoin but there is possibility that you could be rewarded for your donation, it's not same as buying the token at all.

Sir Jadeja finally played a good knock after a long while, though he got really lucky that England had no DRS left to review lbw in start of 3rd session. Now, let's see if Jadeja makes century tomorrow or gets out and makes to the list of Jaiswal and Rahul who fell little short to making century.

Couple random things:

— It was funny to me when Ben Stokes could not see ball in sky, good to see gully cricket things happening in international cricket.

— Ben Stokes and Ben Foakes —  same name, rhyming surname — I find it bit peculiar.

To participate in the Altlayer airdrop you have to join the Galxe website to qualify. Another way is to complete the task to completion. You can get an Altlayer airdrop allocation equal to 200. Guess Galxe has been a busy platform that has lasted a long time now with a point system, now I'm watching to see people who get the Altlayer airdrop .

That's incorrect, many galx participants of altlayer campaign were excluded, me being one of them.

If I may ask since I have been following you and yeah you are good in airdrop , so is this one has really potential mate? sorry for asking but I am not good at it.

I can't guarantee but if I see potential myself, then only I suggest it to others.

I feel Gill is having hard time adjusting to different formats, he played exceptionally well in last IPL, but since then he's been lackluster, had couple good knocks in between iirc but nothing much or is it Dengue that weakened him?

SA20: Capitals vs Sunrisers

Entertaining match despite being a low scoring one. Sunrisers needed 4 runs last ball, they couldn't do it, took a single and handed Capitals win of 3 runs.

Though, I would say neither of team batted well this match as Capitals gave 3 unnecessary run-outs of quality batters despite having a comfortable RR of 9 (during first two), gotta give credit where it's due to Sunrisers fielders as all run-outs were direct hits, these run-outs put Capitals into unnecessary trouble and they couldn't even play full overs and gotten all out at 125 at 18.3 overs.

Meanwhile Sunrisers played even worse, never imagined as it was such low chase, at one point they required mere 65 runs of 49 balls with 6 wickets in hand, there was no pressure here, yet they were not able to do so.

Anyone who thinks they deserve an airdrop from Altlayer can check their wallets - https://94c87e96-000a-4740-bc01-0ca9abbb7bca-stg-airdrop.alt.technology/ In a few hours, the Launchpool on the Binance exchange is completed and, accordingly, as it is customary on the exchange, tomorrow there will be a listing of this coin. $ALT is already trading on AEVO at a price of about 30 c.

What does being a campaign participant mean?  Their Galxe or Zealy campaigns?

I am not aware of Altlayer's zealy but completed their Galx quests, got nothing for it.

I can't remember any project distributing airdrop for completing tasks in Zeely. For completing such tasks, you can additionally get role in the Discord, but this will also not bring you financial encouragement. If you have a positive experience of participating in Zeely, tell us about such a project here.
Most of the projects using Zealy are just garbage and they ended up not paying you because they use it for free marketing scheme, I've participated in some campaigns with Zealy but I didn't do things such as post/retweet or follow the accounts project especially if it's a trash one, I only do visit the projects website and similar things like that. But as far as I know, the projects don't really care about that and not paying the hunters.

True, Zealy using projects and tasks therein most of them tend to be garbage. For Twitter campaigns I am able to claim reward directly without actually doing the thing, it's probably a bug.

Seems Eigenlayer will be meta for a while, Altlayer took Eigenlayer stakers in their criteria, and likely there are others are in pipeline, plus $EIGEN itself.

Also, whalesmarket opened trading of Eigenlayer points, although I see no orders yet: https://twitter.com/WhalesMarket/status/1750189202824966652

India vs Ireland U-19 WC

India comes to bat first, Mushir Khan and Saharan put up good 156 run partnership in which Mushir Khan makes a century and allowed India to put up great total of 301 with finishing touches from Dhas 21(9). Ireland seemed to have given up right from the start and quickly fell like dominoes, however tail-enders Riley and Forkin's partnership fetched them some runs by eof inning and they got all-out on at least decent three figure score of 100.

Anyway I also noticed that a lot of projects also have Zealy quests.  Are those worth doing?

Not worth it, but I'm doing Lamina1's and Redbelly network's because I sense they gonna reward questers. Technically, Lamina1 already rewarded beta L1 tokens for zealy activity, but these are useless tokens for now unless they reward mainnet L1 tokens proportional to beta tokens, it'll be worth it.

ICC U-19 WC

1) Namibia vs Sri Lanka

Namibia bowls beautifully, at least it has appeared so from the teams they have played against so far. Their batting has no strength and needs to be worked upon, as I was watching batting highlights of Namibia's inning, most of highlights were about SL picking their wickets.

2) WI vs Scotland

Scotland got excellent start with Dunk and Hegde's partnership, a good short inning from Price next, but after that their wickets fell without contributing much, and Scotland settled for 209.

Looked good score to me as U-19 teams aren't playing aggresive and even 250+ score is rare sight but today was a rare one as WI played so good that they would have made 300+ score if they weren't chasing.

WI played around 6 RR throughout their inning despite regular fall of wickets and eventually Andrew and Edward's 95 runs partnership brought them to shore with 14.5 overs remaining.

3) Nepal vs Pakistan

Nepal batted well than I expected, and gave chase of 198 to Pakistan. Pakistan had good start and looked like they will win it easily, but once their openers departed, things looked shuffling a bit, felt like match could go either way but then they got their feet firm on ground with Awais and Ahmad's partnership and won the match comfortably by end.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana airdrops speculation on: January 25, 2024, 04:05:19 AM
Jupiter, Jito and couple others peanut amount so not worth mentioning already did airdrop. I think airdrop season on Solana is just starting and might be worth to give projects a try there. Even if these projects themselves don't do airdrop, we might see interaction with them counted in future by other projects, as we have seen happen on ethereum ecosystem.

Some potential ones:

1) https://app.drift.trade/ — perp dex, you can long arb with 3x leverage, and leave it for a while   Tongue

2) https://www.mfi.gg/r- lend/borrow platform

3) https://www.tensor.trade/ — nft marketplace

4) https://stake.solblaze.org/ — liquid staking platform

5) https://app.kamino.finance/ — borrow/lend platform

Good luck!

Is it too late getting into these projects or is there time?  I've been looking for Solana projects to spend some spare time with but I'm not really sure what the good ones are...  I'm thinking Drift could be a good one since it's a perps exchange.  Could never go wrong with that.  Grin

Drift and Kamino has announced points which you can farm right now, and these points will be later converted for proportional airdrop. There is also points system for MarginFI but not news about airdrop yet.

Quote
And looking at your list, I'm thinking lend and borrow stables at Kamino then use that to do another round of lending and borrowing at MFI then go to drift and open a perp trade.  Lol.

I have done similar, minus using borrowed funds somewhere else and not on drift.

Heat vs Sixers: Sixers won the toss and sent Heat to bat first.

Heat was dominant throughout the match. Dwarshuis dropping Brown's catch down at 3 costed Sixers good, as he went on to make 53 runs, a significant contribution in Heat's total of 166.

From Sixer's inning, nothing interesting for me as they all rather fell quickly, Sean Abott's wicket was last glimmer of hope for Sixers and Neser took absolutely beautiful catch to end that.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 24, 2024, 04:20:29 AM
NZ vs AFG U-19 WC

AFG won the toss and decided to bat first. Lost couple early wickets, Zadran and Zurmatai had little nice partnership, played some good shots, but they couldn't hold to bowling from Rowe and this partnership was run short, what a beauty get Zurmatai bowled out, similar one to get Agha out too. Rowe went on to take a fifer and AFG could only musher up 91 runs.

Match was over for Afghans so I thought, but nope NZ comes to bat and Gazhanfar takes 3 early wickets and puts NZ into trouble from start which they were never able to get out as they barely win the game by 1 wicket.

NZ needed 2 runs to win at one point with 2 wickets in hand and then Naseer Khan mankanding Schreuder had everyone surprised. Definitely one of my favorite moments so far.

Rajat Patidar has been named replacement for Kohli, nothing comes close to Kohli for his formidable presence on ground but Patidar is good choice IMO. On Englad side, Dan Lawrence has been named replacement for Harry Brook, never heard of Lawrence and not a fan of Brook from what little I've seen of him in IPL and in ODIWC.
