Some gambling questions I want to ask please answer.
How many percent of signature earnings you gamble away?

[/b]. 10 - 20% of my earnings, normally 10% only but if I have extra I make it 20, well because I also have another sidelines in my collections to support my hobby and also hoping to earn more.

Do you prefer Fiat or crypto at a display currency?
[/b] I prefer fiat, well to see my balance or such, its a to more easier than going to another tab and search a convert from fiat to crypto currency

What is your favorite game you play all the time?
[/b]Bitvest

What is your favorite casino platform?
[/b] Bitvest, I hooked up with this game and of course I signed up for signature campaign, I also have some casino website but I spend a lot of my money in Bitvest.

Are you a responsible gambler?
[/b]sometimes not, sometimes yes it depends on my mindset, sometimes I didn't notice my spending and going over board with my capital, which I admit me being irresponsible with my hobby.
1542  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: October 20, 2023, 06:15:01 AM
In my opinion, having a small amount of money when gambling is a very good thing, indirectly we reduce the risk in gambling such as not losing all our money. If we can apply this in our daily lives, it will be good in the future, and will not cause problems in our lives, because we realize that gambling should only be for entertainment, not to make money.
That is a very good thing because they will not experience as many losses and they can reduce their risks. And that's what we have to do when gambling because our goal in gambling is just to have fun. If we want to make money, we can work somewhere else that can provide that money. In gambling, we don't need to take too big a risk because it can result in big losses, especially since we know that gambling can tempt us to keep playing.
Yes, allocating a small amount of money for gambling is good; the smaller the capital, the smaller the losses, but what if you keep on refreshing your capital with a small amount? It still doesn't change the logic of losing a huge amount. It can apply to gambling addicts. Let's face it, a large percentage of people who gamble end up losing a large amount of money, disregarding discipline and their boundaries. It often happens to those who once got a big win or lost a huge amount. And yes, I will not be a hyprocrite. I do gambling aiming to earn a large amount of money; I treat it as my side hustle, so earning money is a higher percent than enjoying while playing gambling. Well, that's life; we've got to find something that could earn you extra money. Yes, there's more ways to earn, but this is the one that I believe could lead to wealth.
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: October 20, 2023, 04:30:30 AM
How will you feel if someone you know or just a friend of a friend walk up to you and ask you to finance them in gambling in exchange for a portion of their winnings? Does this even make any sense?

Because the only place this makes a bit sense is the skills base niche like forex trading or crypto trading, how can gambling/gambler be financed?

Have you heard of such before? What is the end result if you have?

Why would you trust anyone to gamble better than you can when it's all about luck?

Is anyone doing this on here?

Someone explained this to me, and I believe he is already a victim because to me it doesn't make sense, I believe he is been used because he lacks knowledge about gambling, do you think my judgment is wrong?

Yes, I personally have a colleague at work who does gambling, and I invest in him. So far, it's good because we have a contract about the share or earnings. I, of course, make sure that I will not be scammed or lose my money, so we talk about the contract carefully so it will be beneficial for both of us. Well, I also assess him first before I invest; I ask for proof of legitimacy or his earnings through gambling; and I also observe him for a specific period of time. In short, I do my own analysis to determine if I'm going to trust my money to that person. So far, the income is continuous and fixed, and I also earn beyond the capital that I gave him. In fact, I put in more money little by little to expand my earnings, and right now I truly trust that person. How about the others? I think some experience is the opposite of what I've experienced.
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife. on: October 20, 2023, 01:33:51 AM
There are always opposites in life.

Someone want to use Bitcoin as gift to wife.
In contrast, someone want to sell wife's jewelry to buy Bitcoin.

Invest in Bitcoin by selling wife's jewelry.

Gifting your wife is from your own side, it's easily to do and don't need permission of your wife but I am against the idea to sell your wife's jewelry to buy Bitcoin like the shared topic.

Hopefully the gifted bitcoin will be hold long time enough to get profit.

I agree; it is definitely a blessing if your wife takes a liking to what you are interested in, like Bitcoin. A bonus is that she is futuristic when it comes to holding the bitcoin, but I suggest it will be great if you will not just hold the bitcoin but instead try doing trades or anything that could grow your bitcoin. With that, you and your partner will be hand in hand, and you will have someone to talk to about this stuff. About the shared topic, I also agree that selling assets like jewellery and such in exchange for bitcoin or any cryptocurrency is not a wise idea. We will never know what the value of bitcoin will be in the next few days. Also, jewellery is a memory that cannot be replaced by money, so better not exchange the jewellery assets for bitcoin; instead, allocate a budget for that if you really want to invest in or hold bitcoin.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first Bitcoin on: October 19, 2023, 03:33:18 PM
Well, earning by crypto is not new to me, but yeah, this forum is one of my stepping stones in my crypto journey. At first, I saw this forum as a reference or forum where I would get knowledge related to cryptocurrency, and then I discovered how to earn here through signature campaigns and such, and I didn't stop there. I expanded my knowledge and skills about crypto by investing in different kinds of things related to crypto. I also do trading, which is regular for me. Well, I admit I still don't have a bitcoin as I also have expenses, but I will not stop until I earn at least 1 bitcoin; that is my long-term goal. Happy earning, everyone! For the others, maybe they earn thousands worth of bitcoin, and I admire whenever I see posts about their archive, which is a good motivation for those of us who aim to be wealthy through bitcoin.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: October 19, 2023, 02:39:43 PM
Why not just let kids gamble and observe their results and behavior? Why not make a test first before making decisions like turning off the internet, setting filters, gambling secretly or at night and etc? If they show low interest to gambling then there is little to worry about. If they raise interest to it, then make a serious talk with them about consequences. What if they are one of a billions talented kid that gonna become a next poker champ and you kill that in the bud.
What? I didn't mean to contradict you, but letting kids play and observe? Even kids who don't have an idea or interest in gambling have a phase in their lives where they will be curious about the things they see. Maybe they will not be interested at this time, but what if someday? What if they remember that time when they saw gambling and were curious and wanted to try gambling? I don't know about the mindset you have. Next talent? Even in the statistics, it shows that most of the gamblers experience great losses, or gambling itself doesn't have a very good reputation in terms of means to earn. I'm not against gambling, as I also play gambling. I will disagree with what you said; letting a child have a glimpse of gambling at a young age is not a very good idea, especially if you are a parent. That's all.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 19, 2023, 12:18:53 PM
Set a limit and have a fine mindset; without these characteristics, I think, the person will be miserable at gambling. With a limit in mind, you will know when to stop playing gambling and stop further losses, which is a common problem for many gamblers; they will keep on chasing their losses until they notice that they dig up their own grave. A fine mindset is the partner for setting your limit; with a mindset in mind, you will be aware of your decisions and functionality; without a mindset, it's like you don't have a path or a goal in gambling. I personally refine this concept myself to minimise my losses and keep on playing while enjoying gambling. Gambling is fun for me; it depends on other people, but for me, gambling is also a serious matter. Of course, one of my sources of income side hustles is at least wishing a big jackpot.
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: October 19, 2023, 10:39:21 AM
Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ?

Absolutely not.The reason being the simple one as I do not believe anyone can quit gambling for good because as they say vice comes out only when our soul comes out meaning when we die.My wife knows and she does not say anything as long as I am a responsible gambler that maximum I spend 100 dollars a month for gambling which is nothing compared to our both salaries and as such she does not care, she sometimes tells me to stop for my own good when I keep buying the bonus in slot machines like crazy and spend several hours playing but she would never order me to quit.

It's easier said than done. Remember, you have a wife and probably a family. There may be circumstances in which you will come to your senses and limit or completely stay away from gambling. From my experience since I've met my girlfriend, I limit my gambling hobby because I want to be more responsible, and I want my girlfriend to see me as a responsible person who will not waste too much money doing gambling. Yeah, I still do gambling, but only a very small portion of my money or salary. I'll make sure it doesn't affect my daily life or that of my partner and family. In short, no, I still do not stop gambling, but only limitedly. Instead,  I do investment and trading to have another side hustle besides my job, and by doing investment and trading, I have a high chance of increasing my money; I just have to invest time and effort in it.
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was ripped off on: October 19, 2023, 01:51:04 AM
Whenever you read stories like this I feel it is important to remember that it wasn’t some failure of a protocol or software bug that lead to this rip off occurring. It was just a standard run of the mill scammer that happened to find a victim willing to send funds online in a non-reversible fashion. Let his mistake be your education.
Let's also see that the victim is also to blame. Remember,  there's no scammer if there is to be scamming, as he says he doesn't have any information about the recipient, and even if he does, there's no way to trace who's the owner of that address. That's why there are so many scammers out there because they know that some people can be easily fooled. I'm not victim-blaming here, but that's the fact: before sending money or your asset, you have the responsibility to assess first if the person with whom you're in a transaction is legitimate and trustworthy. You should conduct an assessment and also ask for proof or anything else that could identify the legitimacy of the person. This will serve as his lesson, but what about the others? We should spread awareness about this matter, especially about cryptocurrency-related transactions.
1550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question for those who loose too frequently in gambling on: October 19, 2023, 12:38:02 AM
I have often wondered about the people who have lost a lot in gambling and who almost loose in every gambling activity they participate. What is their reason or motivation to continue even after so many losses?

3 reasons: fun, thrill, and money. First, fun or entertainment. Well, I treat my gambling hobby as my entertainment to pass time or relieve my stress after work or during work. thrill. Well, we know gambling has the concept of "risk," so you will be thrilled by every game or bet you make. The bonus is that when you win, the thrill is worth it. and, most importantly, money. What else do we do for gambling? I'll be hypocritical if I say I don't do it for money. I treat gambling as my side hustle, of course with discipline and a good mindset, so I will not have a problem in terms of my gambling hobby. I also experienced too many losses in a row, but if I face that situation, I have a mindset that I should stop, rest, or be refreshed for, let's say, days or a week for me not to be greedy and make unreasonable decisions by continuously playing even if I know I'm in a bad situation.
1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 18, 2023, 10:41:27 PM
Ideally, my answer to this question would be that the gambler should cash out and go home. It seems like the perfectly normal thing to do however for me I would keep playing. Since I have been lucky so far I may have a bigger look so to keep playing would be what would make logical sense for me. I will willingly accept the risk that is involved in keeping playing and be fine with the outcome. Please note that I'll do this for games were I have experience in and I am familiar with. For unfamiliar games where I win at first play, I'll withdraw the winnings and leave.
Well, that's quite risky, as you said, but you do have a point. If you know yourself, you are in luck, and you are a bit of an expert in your games, then it's worth the risk. But also, I don't recommend this mindset if the readers of this comment see it because not all have the same scenario as you've said. My best advice is that, just like what I do in trading, I do it in gambling. For example, if I set a stop-loss and take-profit indicator in gambling, whenever I reach either of these indicators, I'll take what it is, either lose or win. With that, I'm confident to say that I can minimise my losses while gaining more from gambling. You see, gambling is very fun. I treat this as my entertainment and, at the same time, my investment aside from trading.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 18, 2023, 02:35:46 AM
Nope, and I don't have a plan on letting them know that I do gambling. The first reason is because of the normal norms; gambling is a bad image for many, so I know my parents will not be happy about that or they will be concerned about me. The second reason is because I don't want them to be involved, or, let's say, as long as I don't let them involved in my habit, then I think not letting them know that I do gambling is good as long as anything that could happen because of my habit will only affect me.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t push playing more on: October 17, 2023, 01:27:19 PM
The only thing that makes me keep up on the breakeven side is the increased on wager to recover my losses but my gambling result is literally 1 win to 3 or more losses ratio. This is how bad my overall game.

First of all what you did in this statement shows that you let your greed and being irresponsible to take over your decision,  resulting to you losing more money, raising your wage just to think that you can recover your lost is not a smart way of thinking in only imply that you are desperate and wanting a shortcut to chase your loses. This should serve as your lesson and to the other readers that this kind of thinking or strategy in gambling doesn't work it will only cost you more.

1555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 16, 2023, 01:54:16 PM
There's no straight answer to this question.
We don't know how much is "a lot" and we don't know what your win/lose rate is.
For instance, you could be a gambler who is losing half of his paycheck every month, his win/rate is at 30%, or lower, suffers from depression...
Or, you could be a gambler who lost a lot in our terms, normal people's terms, but he doesn't care because it's less than 1% of his net worth and he doesn't suffer emotionally at all, gambling is a social thing for him.

I'd say that if you're the first case or similar, stop playing because it destroys your life. If you're more like the second guy, keep going.
You are right in there. Some gamblers may have lose a lot but as long as they can still manage their gambling losses and expenses, I think there’s no reason to quit from gambling. But for other gamblers who have obviously gained too much losses than their winnings, and made their lives suffer financially and emotionally, then the best answer for that is to really stop gambling for good. That is, if they are also willing to leave gambling.
It's easy to say that they should stop, or you should stop in gambling if you face a lot of losses in gambling but in reality it doesn't really apply to those who already make their self sink more in the addiction of gambling, for those who's already too addicted, advice such as that don't work for them as they lose their discipline. The best way for an gambling addict to either something too impactful will happen to their lives that could wake them up from their addiction or do a rehabilitation. In some cases family and friends will help them to forget gambling slowly.
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: October 15, 2023, 12:38:25 PM
I do not really have a problem gambling from work because I have everything well planned out. It does not interfere with my job in any way whatsoever... I spend less than 30 minutes predicting and placing my bets. Although this is possible because of the nature of my job that requires I am on my computer with internet access always.

Gambling to me is just a sides hustle to compliment what I do. I don't plan with gambling money neither am I desperate to win. So to me it is fine gambling from work.
But you have to remember that even though you can plan it well, you can experience changes to your plan because we are only humans who can experience mood changes. It can cause us to deviate from the plans we have made. But hopefully, you will stick to your plan so that you don't experience any problems if you continue to gamble while you work. And I hope that when gambling, you only use the money you can afford and still control yourself because you are gambling at work, where someone may find out.
I slightly agree and disagree, agree because yes anything can change with a slight factor, for example you only plan to play for 30 mins but at some point you hooked up in the game and doesn't notice the time past by. Disagreed, as long as you do your work, finished your task then there's no problem with that. i personally play gambling at work and it doesn't affect my performance and work as long as I know my priority and I know how manage my time.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 14, 2023, 01:15:48 PM
For me if we loss in gambling the best thing to do is to control ourselves cause without self-control we loss more and more so once we loss a big amount then we should take a control and focus on our goal which is to minimize our bet, when we don't have control we bet spontaneously and there's a big chance that we get addicted and once it will happened then a lot of consequences we need to face.

I agree, but to add, I think with able to control yourself, you should also have discipline, because with discipline then it will strengthen your ability to control yourself to gamble more and can lead to more losses. But to those who's already addicted it will be difficult for them to fight the urge to play more as they have a goal to chass their losses which is a wrong path because it will only lead you in more worst situation. So for me "discipline" is the most important for you to control yourself to limit yourself in gambling.
1558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Still not a safe practice even if it works on: October 13, 2023, 01:09:15 AM
It depends on the website itself if they have a rule prohibiting the usage of VPN. VPN somehow is not illegal to use because they use this tool. For example, if a specific website is not accessible in a certain country, you can use a VPN to change your IP, but of course using a legitimate VPN is much safer than purchasing a subscription to a trusted VPN application. To sum up, it's much better to first assess the casino website to see if they allow you to use such a tool to be safe.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 12, 2023, 05:56:17 AM
Well, that is called greedy; it shows one of the traits of a greedy person when it comes to gambling. It's common to see or hear this kind of situation; people tend to be easily blinded by the money. That's why their bad thoughts will come out like that. That guy doesn't deserve the win, if I say so, but I don't have the right to say it or to judge the person. But that is a very wrong action towards your friends. If I were one of their friends, I would not stay friends with that person; I'd rather avoid him for life.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 11, 2023, 03:55:44 AM
I met a friend who used about $1 to play gamble to win about $2500 in a game of different matches, all the early games went well but the last game cut which made him loose the game.  This lose made him to be sick for 3 days, the reason for his reaction was not because of the money he used to bet but he felt so bad because he has already put all his hope on the money he would have won.

People needs not to put all their hope in games they are not sure of winning, because relying on it can be very dangerous to the mental health. Play gamble and remove your mind from the money that will be gained till it is achieved.

I think what your friend did was to secure what he earned. For example, if he earned $2500, he would divide the profit so that one was for capital to be used in more gambling games and the other was to be secured. That's why he got sick because he regretted the money he lost. Imagine going from $1 to $250 and back to zero. That would be really depressing for your friend. That should be a lesson to him: not to be greedy; be smart and wise in handling your money or profit properly. and also be disciplined; don't put all that you've earned into gambling.
