1541  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockFi files for bankruptcy protection. on: November 29, 2022, 08:41:45 AM
But I am glad that the news didn't have any impact on the price of bitcoin.

Several news media have published companies connected with FTX in the aftermath of its collapse, and people have been imagining the worst that they'd soon follow a collapse. So the effect of the news this time will no longer have much effect on bitcoin.
1542  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency or start my business? on: November 28, 2022, 12:57:47 PM
Build your business while you have plenty of time to do both (business and freelance),
Some cryptocurrencies aren't good for your mental health especially if you have a lot of centralized service utility tokens in your portfolio.
Do you mean, OP shouldn't choose crypto investment?
I never said "don't". The OP wants the best option of the two and that means isn't business the best here? Several types of businesses are able to yield regularly and continuously.
For whatever reason, investment is a risky financial instrument, especially in high volatility assets.

I'm assuming the OP is a beginner since s/he started a question on this board. "When a newbie is interested in investing, then tell them the risks first."
1543  Economy / Economics / Re: Corrupt people in crypto on: November 28, 2022, 11:19:27 AM
But investors who are just jumping from one hype to another are the ones who should be careful on this kind of corrupted projects as how you said it.

Greedy people don't really like stable incomes, they prefer to be put their risk like this. At certain moments of hype, I think greedy people get together and just race to grab each other.
1544  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: about cryptocurrency on: November 28, 2022, 11:05:48 AM
Did this account change hands or did you suddenly have amnesia?
I think you've started since last year and have reached a good stage of investment experience.
In my business there are many clients who prefer to use cryptocurrency for payment. And I can make dozens of transactions in one day...

You're also quite good at commenting and citing various sources  Tongue

1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were the government, how would you fight against bitcoin? on: November 28, 2022, 01:37:16 AM
You ask in this forum with the majority of bitcoiners about how to fight bitcoin? I personally know how bitcoin works in general, I'm not going against it.

I have no idea that even governments feel threatened (unless they have a highly corrupt system), instead the threat is aimed at the fractional reserve system of bankers. If leaders want a transparent financial system, then they must follow how bitcoin works.
1546  Other / Meta / Re: What’s wrong with Gambling Discussion board on: November 28, 2022, 01:02:47 AM
You raised several issues in that thread, including:

  • You're looking for an alternative way to avoid unwanted fees (in the title).
  • You intend to follow the bullrun with bitcoin (more stable volatility) while in the casino you can lose all of it.
  • You tell that you want to transfer to another casino (which may be different fee policies, your problem will never be solved)

Among the three, people only answered the most relevant to their experience. The problem isn't the people throwing in the answers, your question is too complex.

1548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: November 27, 2022, 01:53:29 PM
The fundamental effect this time is too strong, I estimate it will last until the middle of next year. Unless some of the major companies that collapsed are slowly recovering although it is doubtful that they'll ever regain the public's trust.
Btw, it's not difficult to change the investment term if you're too worried as long as you stick with bitcoin.
1549  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Can you access the FTX site ? Scammed ? on: November 27, 2022, 01:43:09 PM
just remembered the FTX General Counsel's last warning that users were barred from accessing the site because it was hacked. Idk if this redirect is related to that hack as their issue hasn't been fixed yet.
From my side the site is completely inaccessible, the FTX ip has been blocked by most of my local internet providers. I think this blocking is government intervention
1550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to get bitcoins for free? on: November 26, 2022, 02:25:52 PM
For now, even btc faucets only make a few sats which is not worth it. Actually there are several free (real) bitcoin sweepstakes distributed on twitter every day, it's just that you have to try your luck with thousands of other participants.

Seems like it really takes some effort to exchange for a decent amount, bitcoin is currently too valuable to be free.
1551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question on how to buy bitcoin & on dex exchanges on: November 26, 2022, 12:07:35 PM
Does it mean that I'm required to leave some funds active to enable the automated action take place.
Do you mean to leave multiple orders active? That's not DCA. It still forces you to follow the analytical scenario and it is possible that your order won't be filled because the price doesn't exceed. Use it manually with a scheduled purchase plan (eg weekly) regardless of what price you'll get.

1553  Economy / Lending / Re: Can anyone help with 0.5 btc until January 15'th on: November 25, 2022, 02:34:44 PM
I'm sorry, but I'm not flaunting what I have

There is no presumption of flaunting here, because you expect someone to say "I do" which means he/she's flaunting a BTC0.5 if you uses such way of thinking.

And to be clear, I'm not asking for anything for "free". I'm not saying anyone is stupid. I'm not going to ask for any btc in advance.
Good, you shouldn't have to wait for someone to ask for a collateral if you know no idiot will deal without tying something up from a new user.
1554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins the step to wealth. on: November 25, 2022, 02:12:23 PM
I asked a friend the Steps to wealth and he mentioned bitcoins.
Yep and maybe nope, hard to explain. Considering that you're a beginner, you should look for more appropriate references, especially bitcoin management so that the "get rich" advice doesn't backfire in the future.
Luckily your friend talked bitcoin for the first suggestion and your intense curiosity led you to this place.
1555  Other / Off-topic / Re: Increase in cost of running the family on: November 25, 2022, 02:00:54 PM
In several Asian countries, especially in Indonesia, there is a program called the Family Planning Program,

The Family Planning Program doesn't help much, especially for families in remote areas where government directives about their welfare are rarely touched, but they are excited to give birth several times, lol. it may only work if it is a mandatory rule or provides rather harsh consequences such as limiting service rights for violators.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could have Satoshi faced if he made himself known from the beginning on: November 25, 2022, 01:43:39 PM
No idea, maybe bitcoin will fail like previous known-founder e-currencies. I think his actions have helped to perfect the decentralized entity he created.
All I can say is that he disappeared at the right time and in the right way. Almost no trace.
1557  Economy / Lending / Re: +1000$ Loan on: November 24, 2022, 01:42:45 PM
I have been trading for some time with demo account and I see myself more than ready to jump to trading with real money,
Lol, are you kidding?
A demo account is a trap tool, of course you'll look like an expert. After all you've not fully tried how psychic skills with just that.

I can return 100% of the money lent with an additional 30% interest at the end of the month
Banks offer lower interest rates (max. only 10%), I think you should try your luck there.
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Fake Binance Launchpad token listed on Pancakeswap.. on: November 23, 2022, 03:10:09 PM
It's the default advice of people not to offer investments via private messages, it's definitely 100% scam. Companies anticipating scam attemps are always alerted everywhere about random offers during exclusive sales programs.
1559  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Affiliate signature campaign on: November 23, 2022, 10:04:27 AM
But there is no minimum post requirement and there is no limit to where participants want to promote their link. If so, I think participants can certainly go elsewhere where spam isn't moderated as long as participant's name is written in the spreadsheet and wear signatures.
1560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Technical Analysis and Charting on: November 23, 2022, 09:18:49 AM
Actually there are many, it's a speculation board like this. But most of the OP's aren't very consistent in updating threads. If you have enough time to pay attention, many price speculators join this thread[2] and sometimes share the results of their analysis.
