1541  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria to limit cash withdrawals on: December 20, 2022, 10:59:23 PM

Even without the push for CBDC central banks around the world have been limiting the amount of cash to withdraw. Only this time they are fast-tracking the use of CBDC in the country where people are also aware of BTC.

It's been a failure so there is the need to push CBDC harder to make it. If they are to fight this, it's best for people to also not deposit cash to keep the cash circulating.

I agree.

Since banks and government cannot find a way on how to tax cryptocurrency, it seems that this CBDC thing is the only way on how they can control the fiat circulation in the internet (digital payments) and they can easily track people who are making a lot of money that they didn't know which of course they are going to tax more. This CBDC thing to me smells fishy, I don't trust the banks.
They would be touching up something centralized which is CBDC's which it isnt really that surprising or shocking anymore.Speaking about limit cash withdrawals then as a citizen then there's no thing you can do
since they do have the full control and rights on how things should really be handled out. When you are dealing with centralized things then they do always have the power, whether they would be
locking up some funds or would be allowing through and it would really depends into their own discretion. Not all would really be that living on a place where you do have
that complete freedom when it comes to your own funds.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 20, 2022, 09:59:38 PM
I think that bookmakers are already using various kinds of AI when placing quotes and maybe even when analyzing sports events (here AI is used to analyze big data). Naturally, these are not the AIs that are discussed in the first post.
In general, I believe that the use of AI by the better is realistic, since only AI can very quickly analyze and place bets, for example, in 100-150 interconnected events in order to find arbitrage situations. But the one who can create such a system most likely will not be interested in such a trifle as betting.
It is true that it is unlikely that someone which could do something like what you describe could be interested in gambling at all, but there have been similar cases in the past before.

Edward Thorp is widely considered to be the father of card counting and he won money playing blackjack and selling books about it, however that was peanuts to him, he used his knowledge to create hedge funds which gave him and whoever that invested with him massive profits in the markets, so I would not discard the possibility of someone using AI to gain money with gambling and then switch to the stock market just as Thorp did.
Doesnt matter on what method or ways you would be doing which as long it does give out some benefit into you then you would be surely be sticking into that which is something that a very normal action to be made by someone but in speaking on using some AI with your sports betting bets then i wouldnt really be recommending it.There are lots of things which an AI couldn't able to do so on which it is really still much ideal
if you do still rely with your own analysis rather than on making yourself relying into an AI which is something that is made by human too. There's no more than superior
that being a human, there might be some good automation and giving off some faster results but thats not something which is worth to rely on.
1543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So many good news but Market and coins don't go up on: December 20, 2022, 08:46:54 PM
There are a lot of things that pull the market down and that includes the economic crisis that we are experiencing so no matter how many good events and news the market has, it will not be a reason enough for it to strike high. The market cycle will run continually based on the demand of investors, especially the whales. Positive news will influence it but there's no guarantee that it will have a big impact on the prices.
Neither positive or negative news, it cant really be able to make assurance that it could really make out some effect on overall market price movement or condition which you should really make yourself
that prepared for whatever things that might happen ahead. Positive events or news couldnt always mean that it would really move the price up and vice versa.
This is what makes things even gets harder specially if you are a type of trader who do really make out some scalping or even trying to make out some short trades.
Its not something that you could really bare with.
1544  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 19, 2022, 11:29:40 PM
We know that it is really needing up some particular budget to that and we dont know if their revenue had been decreasing or something in correlated which causes for them to limit out their marketing strategies or
simply talking about trying out to give some exposure? We arent sure  but as long they are still continuing to exist on this market and still running off some marketing then that what surely counts.
I was aware of that guess the slot which lots had been trying out their best on looking for one.I wasnt able to guess even once but this one is really something interest.
I do really love to engage into those promotions which are mostly been or can be seen on games and round section.
Looks like it's stopping of several events held by Roobet in this forum, especially in games and rounds, is not due to budget or because they have experienced a decrease in revenue because Roobet now has more partnership with athletes as their brand ambassadors who will definitely need more funds, I suspect because they have got what they are targeting from this forum and what they need now is to keep forum members aware of their existence by continuing to carry out signature campaigns or other events that are only occasionally.

Most likely they are more focus now on partnership and branding which is good upgrade on their marketing because with that they are targeting the global audiences. But still its good that they keep the signature campaign because for this they can retain their exposure and maybe they will be back on forum events in future if they see they need to implement a promotion if there's good update happen.
Its just right that they wont really be forgetting this forum considering that they had started up on getting some attention starts from this place which they would really be considering on continuing their signature
campaign and you might be right that the lessening of those competitions and promotions on this place might be due to other reasons like making out partnerships and other in correlation to this stuff
which it did really result into that.Well, it doesnt matter though as long they've able to retain their reputation and been known and much aware of their existence.
1545  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 19, 2022, 09:20:13 PM
As far as I can remember, I only won $200 once from a competition held by Roobet on the forum, namely score predictions for Premier League matches
Had hoped that Roobet would hold competitions in games and rounds sections for this World Cup but apparently they didn't even have direct promotion on their website for this World Cup not too much.
Hopefully there will be many competitions that they will hold here again
You've reminded me of some good times. I've earned a lot from their guess the slot competition and as far as I can remember some of their competitor came with a similar competition. It was fun and I hope they will come up with something that funny in the future other than the art competitions.
The games and round board surely miss them!
We know that it is really needing up some particular budget to that and we dont know if their revenue had been decreasing or something in correlated which causes for them to limit out their marketing strategies or

1546  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property is real on: December 19, 2022, 08:44:08 PM
Property is a very good investment and is liked by everyone, property prices continue to rise because demand for property will continue to increase, even if it is in a strategic location, the increase can reach 100% in 10 years or even less, it is only natural that property is the first asset that everyone targets .
Depends on where it is located and depends on how good the property is when it comes to looks and utility or in overall since not all properties does ends up on appreciation value but we cant really deny
that it is one of the much more preferred when it comes to investment. The main problem or issue on here is that these type of investment cant really be cheap, even if we wanted to buy one but it
cant really be something that do involves small amount of money which is particularly the opposite and this is why it would really be remaining as a dream since
it is something that everyone could easily attain.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: December 18, 2022, 11:56:33 PM
Gambling is not a primary human need. Despite that fact, the gambling industry will never collapse. You will see huge competition between gambling sites, but that is healthy rivalry. gambling is something people will always do and occasionally with big stakes. No one can change that. Just look at the sponsorships that certain sports teams have with gambling sites, where a fortune is counted down to be the sponsor on the shirt. That means a lot of money is coming in and keeps coming. A thriving and stable industry.
Indeed, it is not a primary human need, but we have seen many people play gambling daily and spend a lot of money. It has become the main need for those who often play gambling because it feels like something is missing if they don't play gambling today.

Competition between casinos will always exist and only those that can really serve their customers well will survive and even have many members. And the gambling industry does not seem to be affected by anything outside the gambling business because there are still many casinos running well. There are still many gamblers who play gambling.
If gambling industry is something that not really needed then we arent gonna see lots of sites or businesses which is pertaining to gambling but it turns out to be opposite. This industry becomes so big on which \
despite of the pandemic situation there are some who do able to survive and able to make profits or revenues when the market goes open to everyone back again.
Just like the rest been saying that not only gambling industry had been affected but also in other industries as well.Domino effect is really there but not shocking
that lots had been able to recover after such decline which this do matter the most.
1548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges charging for inactive accounts . Do you support this ? on: December 18, 2022, 11:12:42 PM
That’s one of the reasons not to fully rely on crypto exchanges with your funds. This is definitely not right and I don’t support it at all. They make a lot of money from transactions made on the use of their platform and they’re not suppose to bill their users just the way they like again for keeping money in their exchange. This will undoubtedly deter people from venturing in cryptocurrency. I'm hoping that this will raise awareness among cryptocurrency users to only store their funds in centralized exchanges and to avoid exchanges like this one.
There are even gambling sites charging dormant or idle accounts which it is really just that too much. Now that exchangers are doing some stuff then i dont really support this one and they are already
charging up everything now which turns out that they are really that milking that much their customers and now they are even charging inactive ones which it shouldnt really be supposed on this way.
Neither those people are just paring out their coins or just totally lost up their interest to logged in or totally forgot that they do still have the account.
Just let people do sit their funds and dont charge up just because they werent active.
1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Types Of Online Casinos To Avoid.. on: December 18, 2022, 09:59:28 PM
The meaning of lighting up and trusting may well have a large definition. When is a site a scam site? There are often situations where players have violated the terms and conditions and that way problems arise with the gambling site. However, this does not always seem right to me, because casinos are still within their rights to take measures when the general terms and conditions are violated. There is not really 1 type of casino that you should avoid. Using a gambling license also has little value. You will have to look at the reputation and rely on the findings of other players to see what their experiences are like.
When you are making up search and tumble upon with some negative feedbacks or words then it would really be needing up with that verification first whether its a legit one or just simply those fellas are just trying
out to redirect the issue since they had made out some violation. This is where personal judgement would take place and into consideration. Not all issues and complaints cant be considered to be legit
this is why personal verifications is a must but if the entire community does share up with the same feedback then it would be common sense that it is really something
that confirmed or been proven out which it doesnt really need that to look further.
In my opinion - excess of everything is bad be it gambling or the power one should have balanced approach for everything
And one should not waste much amount to the casinos - because it goes quickly and never comes back

On the time you do make out deposits on a gambling site then consider those amounts to be lost already and other relatable to risk which you should really be anticipating for it to happen.
Its true that everything which is too much would be that bad and it is really that needing to have that balance. Our own will would tell us which is bad and which is right.
You cant really be that dumb on not to notice which is really that bad and which is good.We do have this forum where lots of users could able to
tell if we are dealing with a legit or bad site.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Bitcoin purchase for the dip. on: December 18, 2022, 08:59:22 PM
Congrats on buying the dip, op! I think it's totally fine to invest gradually rather than do a major this all at once, as this way you can choose convenient moments when you have money you can spare on investment and see how the market is doing. I hope you're storing your coins safely in a non-custodial wallet and are prepared to hodl for perhaps a year or two if not more for decent profit.
Everything is really just fine as long you are investing on the money which you can afford to lose or something that you would really be that easy to move on or dont mind if ever the market would really be having
that bearish moment. If you do see that this current market price specially on bears is an opportunity then it is really your own choice whether you would get in or not.
Lots have the interest on accumulating but usually they are really minding about bulk buying and trying out to go into their limits or something those amounts which arent supposed to be invested.
Its not bad on being optimistic but you should always consider out about the risks involved and this is something should really be standard.
1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 17, 2022, 09:26:59 PM
I made some research and the article said that manny pacquiao will donate the money in ukraine but I don't think it's just a rumor since manny have donated his money before and he even said it himself that almost half of the money he earn in boxing goes to less unfortunate people so I say that manny will really donate to Ukraine if he said it himself. For now, we can only wait the result if pacquiao will donate to Ukraine if he really said it or not if someone just made it up.
But it is impossible for him to damage his reputation by manipulating funds to donate to Ukraine because one day the details will surely be known from the results of the investigation, but it is better that the donated funds are presented in front of the media to prove he has done what he was promised to donate to Ukraine. If he follows the advice, there will be no negative perceptions and suspicions about the funds donated to Ukraine.
They wont really be that dumb on not to follow on what they had mentioned nor talk about those donation things because sooner or later those information would leaked out if ever they havent been able
to donate about those winnings.Pretty sure the public or the community or entire world would really be ending up on having bad impressions towards a certain person who do make or
do deceiving words just to sell out the fight and generate lots of income or profits to that but ending up on having not able to follow on what he had promised earlier.
I dont even trust up with their claims about charitable works considering that they do work hard and train for that but ending up on giving it out.Well, its just my own view.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Crypto Gambling this year? on: December 17, 2022, 07:58:41 PM
The OP made a list of his preferences that he found very effective, but others may not. Because now the number of gambling or casino sites are very high. It is normal to have differences of opinion. But in my own opinion I would definitely keep stake.com ahead. Those who do not hesitate to offer maximum facilities to the gamblers. The five names the OP mentioned here are BitStarz, mBitCasino, CloudBet, 7bit Casino and Fortune Jack. Among them the first one I consider is Stake.com which is currently in the leading position followed by a few others like CloudBet and Fortune Jack these are also in good position.
We do have significant number of casinos that it is running or operation nowadays which are known and been reputable on this forum or other places as well specially they've been accepting crypto.
Its true that each person would really be having their own preference and  choices on which they do make their own rankings which it isnt really that surprising. They will really be definitely
having or make their own list and this is why it could really be totally different to each other.Speaking about the best then we would be particularly talking on platforms
which they dont really give us some headache or something that we are really that comfortable with.
1553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New futures signal channel with insurance on: December 16, 2022, 11:59:18 PM
Win-win situation? I do see these things do happen only in dreams on where you do trade up and if you do lose up a trade then you do make out some refund?
Are you Santa Claus?  Grin

So whats the catch? For sure you would be charging up huge % in commission for profitable trades to cope up something with this kind of idea.
You should really be at least transparent on how you would really be making profits too out of those followers and you cant really expect
that you would be able to hook up someone just because you do make out some insurance claims or loss-back which is definitely
unbelievable out of this world. lol
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Types Of Online Casinos To Avoid.. on: December 16, 2022, 10:58:24 PM
well, about this community issue, in parts you are right, when a new casino doesn't have a community it starts to selectively scam and that makes it very difficult for people to find out early to avoid using the casino, and unfortunately there are many casinos all over the internet that has no community and they pay certain sites that have added casinos to get referrals, and these sites write good things about these scam casinos, unfortunately most people don't do research on other sites to see how reliable X casino is or not , people just rush to create an account at the first casino they find
People get only scammed sometimes because of their poor habit on making a research first before they start gambling. I know that gamblers are all for profits and that's the reality, but if they will rush to play games at an unreputable casinos, its like they're in suicidal. So maybe considering a good community might be the first step to predict that this casino is legit and has no records of scamming.
People do only make out some search after that they had been scammed and this is where they do learn up their lessons which is really just too absurd because they could really be able to avoid those things if they
had just able to make search first before taking any actions. This is really a very common behavior of people on which they do take out actions without having that researching first on things.
If they are really just that minding off on how to deal up with things, then making out some research first isnt really that a bad idea. You would really be that
able to avoid and learn up things before and save yourself into those problems.
1555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education programs should cover Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. on: December 16, 2022, 10:55:01 PM
It's easier said than done because changing of a school curriculum requires extra resources and training of the teachers themselves to grasp this new technology, but of course we can't just sit and do nothing.. It needs to start from somewhere and this could be possible with the next crop of teachers.
Not only about sudden change and integration or speaking about budget but also we should consider or mind about legal aspects which we know that not each country does have allowed Bitcoin or crypto as a whole,
which does mean that not all schools will really be have the rights on trying out to included without consulting about legal issues or something in related because just as i said that everything should really be needed
some granted request or confirmation before they could really do something. We know that each places does have different takings when it comes to it.
Who doesnt really want to have this kind of exposure and recognition on adding up on a curriculum? Of course we do really love to see on these things.
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping during live slot, or casino games. on: December 16, 2022, 09:58:57 PM
Giving tips will always depend on their service and the profit that you have made, though sometimes I’m not giving any tips even if I won simply because they didn’t do anything to help me at all so I don’t think they deserve to get it, if they are very helpful with you then this is the only time I will give a tip. This is not a requirement though, giving tip should always came from your own willingness and not just because someone forced you to do so.
Yeah, it will depend on how much you've made and as well as if you're satisfied with how they've accepted you and serviced you.
I also don't give tips even if I win and when I think that I've got not that much. We think that before giving a tip, it should be worth it and there must be something that they've done to us for us to feel that they really have to be tipped. And not to think about that much because even if we give tips, they're not a lot.

Tipping is unnecessary because it's really their job to provide us with promising services since that's their job. However, we can tip them voluntarily if we are continuously gaining profit as an act of sharing our blessings if we are completely satisfied with their service. We are not obliged to do it but we can do it only if we can give. Some gamblers always give tip believing that it could add luck on them. Tipping has been a traditional act and is still being practiced not just in casinos but also in different establishments nowadays. It's just a simple act of giving and we are not forced to do it.
Its not really that necessary and tipping is just really showing that it is some sort of appreciation on what they have done or in regarding to their job.You know that there are people who do
really easily get contented and feel glad on the time that they've been assisted or served well.On a gambling site or venue then it cant be surprising that there would be something like this.
When you do hit up a particular game and make huge winnings then things come to your mind would be giving out some tips into that someone who handle out that particular table.
Its not something surprising yet rather a very common behavior.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This forum looks more like Altcoin Price Discussion on: December 15, 2022, 10:36:56 PM
I wish there was something similar for altcoins, where no price or investment discussion was allowed...
If you are going to discuss a crypto projects, its pretty normal to talks about price and its future value because the purpose of that is to help you decide if you are going to invest or not. I don’t see any problem when discussing the price, you should be more concern about it because good timing on your investments is a must. This is already the altcoins section, you can see a lot of good topic here as well.
Very normal discussion when it comes to price speculation and prediction which it would really be just normal that people would be saying up their speculations towards price.
Im much aware with that Bitcoin dev and tech discussion, for some people who do have indepth understanding on technical aspects would find out for this place to be  that relevant and interesting
which majority of people arent really that knowledgeable on that part.

As far as i know there's no such thing about those kind of board but rather these things are mostly been discussed on projects ANN thread when it comes to this aspect.
Im not sure if there are existing ones or doesnt really have.
1558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turned gambler after investing in BTC or investor turned gambler? on: December 15, 2022, 09:42:18 PM
From what I can see, it will be very hard for a gambler to turn investor because most of the funds could be used to gamble more which is why a gambler will always continue gamblers for ever. They will not be able to quit because of the zeal I'm them to gambler more so that they can win more profits.

It is very easy for an investor to go into gambling due to the quest to make more profits from the gambling market/world but it is very hard to see a gambler turning investor which could be due to find management and other factors. Even gambling addiction can cause it for a gambler not to become an investor.
But there are gamblers which are already investors but its true that it is most likely they would be using up those funds in the end of the day but there are ones which are really that good on controlling themselves.
If its really an investment then they wont really be that spending on whats been allocated for investment. It would really vary because not all person would really be the same when it comes to their
preference and dealing up with things. Some are really just playing because they do really love to seek for leisure for a stressful day or something that want to ease up those boredom.
We wont really know on whats up on someone on why they are doing such things.
1559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: December 15, 2022, 08:57:49 PM
I think it is important for investors to carefully consider their options and to always be prepared for potential fluctuations in value, and invest with what they can set aside. This is at least how I prepare myself mentally for the long run and it eliminates a whole bunch of worrying.
Actually it is not possible to control the crypto market. Crypto whale plays a big role here and small investors suffer more. It is true that we have to invest in different portion in different projects. We have to set our mind that we will be able to hold until get profited. After all profit and loss both are part of this sector.
There's no way on controlling this decentralized market although we know that whales, institutions and other huge things could really give out some significant impact in towards crypto prices.
If you've been here on this market for some couple of years then these current movements arent something that you would really be shocked upon. Its whether you do make
yourself being a holder or making yourself as an active trader or investor. It does really vary on how much you could able to withstand this uncertain market where
its movement is really that totally random and there's no way on knowing on what would comes next.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: December 15, 2022, 08:12:16 PM
It is clear for anyone that watched the fight that Butler went up there with the clear intention of not losing the fight during the very first rounds, but while doing so he abandoned any chance of victory against Inoue, to me this is controversial, because while some may be impressed by Butler and his ability to last that long against someone like Inoue, I would say that I am disappointed about his attitude, as he took a path he knew he will have no chance to win, to me it would have been better for him to actually go for the victory, most likely he would still lose, but at least his chances of victory would not have been zero.

Inoue is just too good. The difference in talent is just too wide. If Butler had fought any other way he would've still been knocked out and it probably would've happened sooner.

With this fight out of the way I expect Inoue to move up. I believe he will continue to conquer new weight classes because there isn't too many fighters in these lower division that can really be considered a serious threat to Inoue.

Yes, because the whole undisputed fight between them was already a mismatch since then as it's too crystal clear that Butler cannot possibly defeat Inoue in any way expect for a lucky punch that is not really unlikely to happen. What Butler did was he just stepped on the ring and fought 11 rounds with all defense and then hand Inoue his title for the latter to unite all 4-belt, nothing more.
We cant say that it is really an assured win yet Butler surprisingly able to to withstand for 11 rounds which it is really something understandable considering that he do purely make out
some defensive stance which is really that something that do really makes him look like a turtle on which Inoue is trying to break that shell until he was really badly hurt and knocked down on
that particular round. Its true that all the thing he do is to run away and dont engage a fight with Inoue. You could even able to count his thrown punches as well
which is really that something makes him look laughable.
