1541  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: June 12, 2014, 07:49:52 PM
I'm running the numbers several different ways and I cant see a reason to purchase this?

ROI doesnt seem possible, or am i missing something?

We simply buy hardware for X amount, and host it for (X + profit margin + estimated costs).
Difficulty is (seemingly) impossible to predict, but if you have a method then you already have an edge on the industry!
Perhaps purchasing your own hardware would be a better choice for you.
Here are some links if you're interested in purchasing your own hardware:

http://ebay.com
http://cointerra.com
https://kncminer.com
https://twitter.com/RockMinerInc
http://http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/
http://dragon-miner.com/
http://http://www.butterflylabs.com/

If Bitcoin mining still seems unprofitable with these other options when you compare them to your predictions of difficulty changes, you are always welcome to just buy BTC and just hold, which is a common strategy as well.  You could also sell BTC if you think it's going to go down.
Whatever you decide to do, best of luck to you!

Haha, you really should remove butterfly labs from that. Also, ROI is definitely possible within 5 years.

Ive used peter in the past.  Never had any issues with his service.

The last time you used him was in January, things have changed since then.
1544  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what btc exchange on: June 12, 2014, 05:31:17 PM
I suggest ANXPRO. We are based in Hong Kong, we have direct Hong Kong and Australian Banking, and also SEPA deposits and withdrawals. Our fees are as low as 0.05%, and no verification is needed for trading.

Is it a new exchange?

I've never heard Anxpro

It's not a new exchange, it's been around since July 2013, just that our marketing wasn't that good and not many people use it, but recently, we've been getting a massive influx of new users due to our unique features.
You're welcome to try out our exchange.
ANXPRO

What exactly do you mean by "unique features"?

One of our unique features on ANXPRO is the cross-fiat order book. For example,
Alice has 620 USD and wants to buy 1 BTC.
Bob has 1 BTC and wants to sell it for 458 EUR.

They both place their buy and sell orders. One is BTC/USD, and one is BTC/EUR.
On a normal exchange, nothing happens. However, on ANXPRO, our state-of-the-art pairing system pairs these trades, and executes them, so that:
Alice receives 1 BTC.
Bob receives 458 EUR.

Note that Alice never had any EUR, but the system still converts the USD into EUR for this trade. No other exchange has this feature.

Apart from that, ANXPRO also has other features, such as:
  • 128-bit SSL encryption
  • Platform hosted on Tier 1 Data Centres
  • Fees as low as 0.05%
  • Money Transmitter Licence
  • EgoPay support
  • SEPA Deposits and Withdrawals

We'd love to invite you guys to try out our exchange, with all these features. We are based in Hong Kong. We are also the first Bitcoin exchange to open a brick and mortar Bitcoin trading physical store.

All of the ones that have been complaining about unexchanged, can you please give me the addresses so that I can take a look?
1546  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 4-6 BTC with Collateral on: June 12, 2014, 04:07:11 PM
how come you investors don't even want or need to know what the person wants the mone err bitcoins for ?
even the banks ask as part of due diligance.

Because we don't care, lol. As long as I can get my money back and get some profit, it's fine by me.
Unless it's a trust loan, I refuse to do those personally. Also, you don't have to tell the bank why you need the money, as long as your credit score is good, you can just say you need it for personal reasons, or you can make up an excuse.

OP, I don't think anyone will lend a lot to you with that collateral. Also, how much of those coins do you have?
1547  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: June 12, 2014, 04:03:06 PM
Spondoolies Tech seems to indicate that PBmining it's a ponzi:

This is not endorsement to buy CBCM, but I look at PBMINING cost. The electricity alone for 5 years cost a lot more than the contract cost per $/GHs
Either it is a pyramid or they expect to replace with new hardware at an unrealistic rate. Do the math.

Guy

quoted from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=647360.0.
i am also confused with their low rates. No one can provide this service on these rates.it looks like a ponzi or hyip

low rates?? its over 2.5usd per gh??? relative speaking low, but per gh with the eficiency  of buying power and 28nm..no

U cant get lower if u buy ASIC, when u account everything in. This is rly cheep.

Wow... It's 4 more cents than 2.5 USD! Let's go ahead and spam and troll saying that it's expensive!
Seriously, please shut up. If you can't afford it and can't calculate when you will ROI, then don't buy. It's as simple as that.
If you think it's too expensive, buy hardware and suffer the electricity costs. Don't take the advantages of cloud mining.

Hash a document proving all the stuff, hash it with SHA-256, use that as a private key.
Send some BTC to that address and sign a message with it.
If you need to verify in the future, simpy hash the proof again, and they will see that the hash is the same, and you had knowledge of the address and have sent BTC to it.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: June 11, 2014, 09:42:28 PM
It says daily payouts, but I have not receive my payout in 5 days.  Any reason for this?  I still have coins stuck in all four stages (immature, unexchanged, etc) and the numbers have no changed at all in almost a week.

Daily Payouts if your balance exceeds 0.01BTC, payments every Sunday if your balance exceeds 0.001BTC.

I'm in EU, want to sell BTC  for SEPA bank wire

I have read in another thread that bitstamp works well for SEPA withdrawals. Smiley

Haha, bitstamp is currently freezing user's funds due to "KYC laws". They make you fill out a ridiculous questionnaire before they give you the funds.
Try ANXPRO. We feature SEPA withdrawals and deposits, and our fees are also as low as 0.05%.

I sign up, I submit documents, how long it take to verify

Your request will be processed within 24 hours. Usually it's within 12 hours.

Thanks I already verify and sell my bitcoins withdraw was quick and easy
I recomend this exchange
also can i use paypal

Most exchanges will not work with Paypal due to their chargeback policies. The one exception I have heard of is Virwox, but I have also heard they have very high fees and low limits (at least at first).

That is correct. If you need to buy/sell BTC  with PayPal, then you should use VirWox (they have huge fees) or you should find a reputable trader on the currency exchange section.
If you are asking about ANXPRO, we don't support PayPal, however, we support EgoPay, which is similar, and you can send funds from EgoPay to Payza, another PayPal alternative.
1552  Economy / Lending / Re: [REQ] 0.03 BTC loan for 5 days, return 0.04 BTC on: June 11, 2014, 08:27:51 PM
I think its already way over, drop his signature campain a PM to drop him. Its an scam even if he did pay you the 0.03 BTC back but he still owes you 0.01.

He's late paying (2 days so far). Does that make him a scammer?

2 days late in a 5 days contracts thats nearly 50% over and he didnt pay you anything, you only got back your initial 'investment'. Yeah I would call him a scammer.

Agreed. You should leave negative feedback, I will do the same too. He paid late and didn't pay interest, and there was no communication at all.
1553  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Mining Problem on: June 11, 2014, 07:01:41 PM
Well it wont start mining, the computer sees the miner in the computer but it wont start mining even with all the stuff that the instructions came with

That doesn't help at all. Screenshots please, or a detailed response. How does it "see" the miner? What mining software are you using?
1554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what btc exchange on: June 11, 2014, 06:29:37 PM
Do you mean as a trading platform? Or to withdraw fiat? I still think Bitstamp is probably best for withdrawing fiat (especially in Europe). But I prefer BTC-E for trading.

He was asking about our exchange, ANXPRO.
1555  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTGOX Coins has just started to move on: June 11, 2014, 05:13:58 PM
Can confirm, it is indeed mtgox.

shit, that's right
that is gox address
they begin to move it

NetAgent was recently hired by the trustee to investigate the possible hacks and bitcoin in Mt. Gox. It is possible they made a sensible recommendation, namely, move the BTC to a secure address where you know you control the private keys. Frankly, that should have been done as soon as the trustee took control.
so they move customer's coin to newer address to avoid trustee control
where we can report it? are there any discussion in this forum who still talk about mt.gox

You misunderstood completely. It means that they are just securing the coins, not avoiding trustee control.

1557  Economy / Lending / Re: Professional Index Trader and CPA Marketer Need Investors of 1-5BTC on: June 11, 2014, 04:47:13 PM
You don't have collateral. You don't have trust. You are just a newbie blabbing nonsense. No one will give you such a "loan". Please go away.

We closed our signature campaign since it was a little ridiculous, it required participating members to make ANXPRO-related posts.

That is indeed a good decision.
If there are a dozen of persons making posts like "ANX is great" everywhere in the forum, it would probably just create bad impression. Tongue

And that's just SPAM.
So, would you like to try out our exchange? I'm not going to say that it's amazing and miraculous, but I use it and I find it really good. SEPA deposits and withdrawals (I'm in EU), fees as low as 0.05%, and we are the only exchange to have a cross-fiat order book.

ANXPRO

Just check the site, and it seems I need to submit my passport and utility bill before I can buy or sell bitcoin. Am I right?

That is correct, for bitcoin to fiat (or viceversa) transactions we require verification before you may do so. This is a standard practice, the same is done by Bitstamp and others.
You can trade in other cryptocurrencies without verifying your account.

We are employed by ANXPRO, and these links are used to track stats.
We closed our signature campaign since it was a little ridiculous, it required participating members to make ANXPRO-related posts.
ohh, i remembered it
that our post must contain about ANXPRO, lol
it's not buy our signature space, but buy our heart Tongue
do you have any plan to make newer signature campaign in near future?
sig campaign is one of the best way to promote your business here
but with no ANXPRO related in every post Grin

We do have plans to start such a signature campaign with those features, but that is currently being planned.
