To see from the roadmap, I think devs are in a very busy time. it would be nice if there is a representative of the team that handles the community, because the community is an important part in the journey of a project.

Not that busy, actually. Even if it is, they should hire more people or revise their roadmap. Inability to response before token offering (or no ico, whatev) can never be seen as a good or trustworthy investment.

As I said, only news is the website. I am sitting on airdropped coins, so every reason to support this project, but from what I've seen uptil now, my only reaction is:  Roll Eyes

Unknown team.

Reddit account (mentioned on their website): 0 posts.

Github realtime source code programming (mentioned on their website): nothing since January.

BTCtalk (mentioned on their website): only roadmaps and hardly any activity.

Limited supply is just great and if this team would wake up, this project could be great.

Just FYI for your roadmap: Q2 starts in 17 days.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MANDATORY UPDATE ## BlakeStar (BLAS) ## on: March 13, 2018, 10:04:03 PM
Hi, i mine ERA on cryptohub.online with blake algo. And now i see following notification: "will be swapped to new coin with denomonation 100:1". Any one idea, what it means?
Do i must to swapp ERA to new ERA?

I found swap tutorial on this blog. It worked for me. Wallet wasn't online all the time, I had the swapped coins in 6-7 hours.

Could anyone explain to me how to stack? I am completely new in stacking and so....  Undecided

I took the risk of withdrawing directly from CoinExchange, after reading a tutorial from some guy on CoinExchange. He claims to not have had any issues, and actually, nor have I. Swap was perfect.
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will XRP overtake BTC in 10 MONTHS TIME ? on: March 11, 2018, 05:51:18 PM
No dude, ETH can’t even overtake BTC. With the mentioned events, i don’t think ripple can even overtake ETH, not to say BTC.

Errr Ripple already has overtaken ETH last December...

Even if this were true, its not last December.

Oh please tell me more. So Ripple did not take second place on the 29th of December 2017?

IM STILL NEW HERE IN BCT FORUM SO IF THIS POST VIOLATE ANY RULES PLEASE JUST DELETE AND DONT BAN ME PLEASE.

By the way, OP, the quality of your posts is not very impressive either...

I also think, if you believe there is a possibility your post violates any rules, you should read the rules better before posting, instead of putting a disclaimer on top of your posts...
1567  Other / Meta / Re: way to minimize. spammers and low quality post on: March 10, 2018, 02:10:42 PM
What would really make my day is the option to hide posts from Newbies and Jr. Members.  Grin

I think you are the most self-centered in this forum. How dare you to say that!? You started from lower rank too, don't forget that without the rank mentioned there is no above rank.

The guy hasn't been active for 3 days.

Made 3 posts, one off-topic and one of which to say I'm self-centered.

An other message he posted about Merit (already), he wisely deleted.

There's an expression for this in Latin: QED.  Roll Eyes

I got blocked on their old thread. I didn't even put any critical question.

So what has changed since the old thread?

I see a new site, okay, but is there any evolution in development since last October?

CoinExchange's account on Twitter has been suspended. Any reason why?

The site seems to be up and running as usual.

Aren't we thin-skinned. Reading your first BTCtalk thread - which doesn't even talk about BTC or crypto at all - I'm trying to imagine how empty my self-centered life would have been if I had filtered it out.

Why would you do that? In plenty of subforums newer members still have perfectly valid questions and responses. I only ignore two or three people on the forum and it's been like that for me since the day I joined. If an option for this was added newer members would find it even harder to earn merits to reach their next rank.

Spam is nearly nonexistent in some subforums and rampant in others. We simply need to add moderators to some subforums or swap out moderators for more active ones (much simpler than adding 20+ people in to look at everything posted, which would be almost  unfeasible considering how many posts are made every second here), and a solution to revive spam-ridden subforums like Bitcoin and Altcoin discussion. Pretty much no actual discussion goes on there, just broken Google Translated English and pasted responses.

That doesn't change the fact that they'll just continue spamming useless posts (the only change being you won't see them), and in those subforums half or more of the people posting there are either member rank or up. Some more active moderation like I mentioned in my previous post would greatly help out the situation, and perhaps a sticky with rules regarding restating the same thing a million times would help. It's interesting to watch a thread with its question answered within the first five posts blow up to hundreds of pages there.

You are right, of course, the spamming would just become invisible, but I think knowing that people are probably not seeing your spam, might have a demotivating effect.

Or maybe a "reversed Ignore" system might work, in which you have the option to hide complete rank groups, but to unhide some of the people who post interesting stuff.

Anyway, as you said, not all posts written by newer members are spam posts - I would be a hypocrite for telling the opposite, since I was a Newbie myself in recent history... But honestly, I am almost a 100% sure that I would activate a filter f.i. in Altcoin Speculation and ANN threads and such, if that would be made possible. The current state of certain posts in certain subforums is just horrible, be it for content, or linguistic quality...

I think such a system would also take off a lot of the work and pressure of the moderators. And since no-one would be really blocked or banned, there would be no whining about freedom of expression and other blah blah of the likes of the current Merit whining.

But hey, just my two cents, thinking out loud.

whats the difference between this project and iota and other iot projects

I've come to understand that this project focuses (not exclusively but for a large part) on industrial players, like farmers, cities, parking companies, electricity-gas-water services and so on.

OK I found more:

https://medium.com/@eBTCFoundation/news-proxy-wallet-smart-contract-airdrop-2478a0b3bec2

No longer PRXY but ePRX and indeed no longer 300 mio but only 50 mio.

That means the Whitepaper on the ProxyCard website is not up to date, and that @larsbalzak was right.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: March 05, 2018, 05:31:15 PM

Uh... "There is a hard cap of 300,000,000 (300 Million) PRXY to be distributed to buyers."

So what is it now? ePRX? PRXY?
