Ik heb een vaag voorgevoel dat 89% van zijn posts binnenkort zal verdwenen zijn. Ik heb daar geen lidmaatschap van een of andere site voor nodig, puur aanvoelen. Cool Vieze newbie spammer!

Edit: voila, allemaal gewist behalve in het Nederlandstalige forum. Wat is er aan de hand, mod?

Felton really pulled a number. I wonder if there's a way to expand the legal action into a class action suite against him.

Yup. Does someone have any info or experience about these US class actions? BTCTalk members in the US who are interested in taking an initiative? Any information about the current lawyer team?

It's our turn to have some fun with these scammers!

Swapping. Roll Eyes Can't get worse for a project's reputation. 90% of the people who followed this in the beginning, have long forgotten about it and will miss out completely on the swap and the future of the project. Which means that the (few) support it had, has long gone. Sad but true.

Marry merit in Christmas or maybe in new years eve.
(...)
Xmas time brings both wanted and unwanted gifts, and often one has a kinder attitude towards things during that period of time. Now on can wish for many sorts of presents for Xmas, but I’d never say that actually marring merit was one of them.

On the other hand, the world has witnessed some weird marriages in the past:
-   A guy married Nene Anegasaki from a Nintendo DS game called Love Plus.
-   A woman married herself in Taiwan.
-   A Man married an anime character stamped on a body pillow in Korea.
-   A girl married a dog in India.

So no wonder someone can actually fantasize about marrying merit  … and having many "merrits" as an outcome.

I will marry his useless post history to the "Report to moderator" link.

So. How do we get our money back? Anyone who has any experience with these legal procedures in the US? I got a small portion of this somewhere, so who knows we could make some money out of it. Smiley

Looks like TheBlast broke the story 5 days ago:

https://theblast.com/t-i-cryptocurrency-lawsuit/

Quote
The investors claim in late 2017, a massive “dump” of FLiK tokens caused a massive drop in their value. They claim “Felton explained that the devaluation was caused, at least in part, because T.I. had given FLiK tokens to members of his family and friends who had sold massive amounts on coinexchange.com causing rapid devaluation.”

And in the meantime there's a statement from TI:

Great to meet you! We kenden elkaar nog niet maar welkom terug. Ik heb een grenzeloze bewondering voor Donators en iedereen die van het prille begin getuige van het blockchain-mirakel mocht zijn. Cheesy
1227  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is not a limit for success? on: November 01, 2018, 02:09:17 PM
It really is time we had a list of noteworthy new members. I'm sorry that I haven't had time to work on my Snow Eagle site, but I have had quite a few issues to resolve recently, and that includes a failing clutch on my van, hopefully that will be replaced tomorrow. I'll try to start listing qulity members over the weekend or early next week.

In the meantime, if anybody else wants to start a similar project, then we could pool the lists.

After months of searching, it is very easy to find noteworthy old members posts, several times a day, but not new ones, even though so many new members have arrived in the last months. I tend to be very flexible when it comes to post quality, but even then, I have come to realize that noteworthy new members are a bit like the Edelweiss flower: very difficult to find and probably only the result of someone's imagination.

I think it happens when the OP is worthless but (some of) the replies might be too interesting to remove the whole thread.

Same thing happened to me when I reported these OP:

I find this one tremendously funny:

Oh gawd don't turn this into "not wanting to hear it". You have posted this twice on the forum.

We do not have to tolerate spam and we do not have to tolerate non-Dutch posts.

Mod?
1232  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Bitcoin is a canary in a coal mine on: October 30, 2018, 03:16:27 PM
I would kindly suggest you to remove your thread.

You've already opened the exact same thread in the BTC discussion forum.

And in this forum we speak Dutch.

Therefore, I would qualify this as spam.

Cheers mate!

Now that we have had 2 weeks of radio silence, how about a new team? Cool
1235  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: a surefire way to reduce shit posts on: October 28, 2018, 10:01:26 AM
Don't ask what the forum can do for you, ask what you can do for the forum.

Report EVERY shitpost. Report every spam post. Report everything that is against the rules.

If every member of this forum reported 10 posts a day, you'd see how quickly the number of shit posts will be reduced.
1236  Other / Meta / Re: Another deleted post on: October 27, 2018, 08:27:03 AM

Personally, I used to report every bumped topic older than 3 months. I don't see why should a discussion be made after such long period.
If an old topic contains genuine information and is very important to the community then it is ok. Other topics have to be used as a reference in a new topic (season 2 somehow).

Well this is a difficult one. I think you really should look at the content and the quality of the new message. We don't want people to start a new thread about marriage, or Merit or Ripple or whatever, every other 3 months, do we? If they really can't resist pumping their Activity, I'd rather see them keep their irrelevant nonsense in the old topic instead of opening new ones. Roll Eyes
1237  Other / Meta / Re: Top "why I should not be banned excuses" & "it is not my alt excuses". on: October 26, 2018, 06:21:34 AM
Since the banned account threads are the newest hype in the Merit section, I would propose a new rule: everyone who opens a thread about his account getting banned, should get banned. Cool
1238  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Thorough analysis: Terms&Conditions & Privacy on crypto exchanges !BE WARNED! on: October 25, 2018, 04:30:38 PM
And we're back. Cheesy

There have been quite a lot of updates on CoinExchange's website in the last weeks and months. They have FINALLY adapted their terms and conditions about delistings. At least their acceptance and removal policies are a lot clearer now (but still not 100% in order, as you can read above).

I remain however convinced they have been playing with fire: delisting coins without respecting its own conditions is a very doubtful practice. I wonder what the lawmakers of the State of New South Wales would think about that.
1239  Other / Meta / Re: hay hay i have been banned, please somebody explain to me (-_-') on: October 24, 2018, 06:57:26 PM
You were banned for greeting people by saying "hay hay".
1240  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why you keep complaining on: October 23, 2018, 10:45:53 PM
I am radically against corporal punishment, but after reading posts like OP's, I consider calling my principles into question.
