If you don't invest more than you can afford to lose, "risky" is a completely irrelevant concept.

It's nice to see that the new team is trying to do something and take care of their image. Crypto-currency is based on trust, which must be kept. Let's see if the team will be able to translate the plans and return the previous glory to the project.
Yes. But sometimes there's a very thin line between trust and wishful thinking. And naivety. I'm just saying.

I think BCT is moving away from the purpose it was created for. I see the focus has moved to discussing merit, forum features that won't ever get implemented, etc. rather than talking about bitcoin or the next big thing: altcoins. I see the altcoins section as the new "wild west" where almost anything is possible but sadly a lot of people don't see them like this and they are missing out. I think a good way to jump start BCT is to focus on bitcoin/altcoin related sections. Maybe try to weed out the spam which is killing the forum and focus less on other trivial issues.. I agree. There's plenty of interesting topics but you have to hire a detective to find them in this forest of speculation threads, merit begging and robot spamming. I've gotten used to it. I love this forum, I am here almost every day and after a hard day of work, it relaxes me to bash a bit of spammers first and then read a bit about my favorite coins.

Honestly, uptil today I have not seen a single (physically existing) store or shop accepting crypto.
I was in Turkey recently. Even though they are claimed to have the highest number of crypto owners, I have not seen any real-life use of it either.
Probably some hipster shops in Amsterdam, London or Berlin are using it (just like the pizza shop from OP) but only to look cool.
And as long as people are converting the current value to USD or EUR - and not the opposite - it's completely useless. Why the hell would you risk paying with a crypto that might be worth the double tomorrow, if you've got dollars or euros.

More rules. Absolutely what people want when they ask for decentralization.

In mijn geval, sowieso veel Merits hier.

Also interesting would be a list of coin projects which respect their roadmap and deadlines. Would be a real "short list".

The best policy would be to hold and not read anything about crypto for the next five years. Better for your heart and blood pressure, too.
Sadly, that would be just as difficult as to quit breathing for the next five years.

I am quite impressed with the persistence of these guys I am still sitting on the original pile of airdropped coins. Further on, I am just waiting patiently for what's to come. If it's a scam, so be it. If it's not, well, let's hope so. what are you talking about? I think the airdrop ebtc has long been finished and there is no problem at all , I personally earned profit when im trade with ebtc I think he means that is still holding the eBTC received at the beginning and just holding until the end. yep ,they are holder to the burner, they get something and wont leave it unless it explodes or gets disappeared i was like them at the beginning, was keeping everything (actually have few still) from their ATH hopping to get another ATH soon, but all i was getting was ATL one after the other then tried to learn a lesson which helped me making decision faster I hear ya, mate. I am not saying you're wrong at all. The problem is, when you're already too late (like me... ), why would you sell for 90 dollar, if there's even the slightest chance of getting it pumped...

XLM XMR BTC ADA, EOS, NEO, ZIL BAT
I don't think exchange tokens like BNB should be considered.
It was only a matter of time before this topic started to look like a thread from the Speculation board.

In English: the Commission (Chairman and Commissioners) delegates some tasks to its staff. When the staff acts in such cases, it acts on behalf of the Commission. The Commission may review the staff's action, as will now happen here.

What a great list. I would've added Syscoin, Civic (or should I say Identity) and Factom, but they seem to not be in the top 100 (for the moment ). I admit I do not follow the hit list positions from nearby... I've seen far too many scams and shitcoins appear (and disappear) in these top lists. Let's say market cap is not necessarily a reference for quality... I am also a bit surprised how no-one mentioned Stellar yet. @theymos, you could add a poll to this thread, which allows you to filter out your personal preferences and leave only those you prefer in the poll. I am quite curious to read which coins you would name as "coins for sane people".

I'm no admin nor the bounty manager, but you have your translation stake on master spreadsheet, and your name is not highlighted in yellow.
Indeed, it's not. At least: not anymore. Thanks @jonemil for confirmation and thanks @bounty manager for correction.

Jet Cash will give you some when he sees your thread. No worry, he's coming soon. You beat me to it Ria. I shouldn't do it, but I gave you a couple of merits for making me laugh.
Jet Cash gave Ria Sakurai Merits for making him laugh. I thought I'd never live long enough to see this day. Don't give her Merits. She deserves the f*cking Nobel Peace Prize! And a statue.

Looks like a -kinda- self regulatory movement is waking up in the US, too, hoping to work on legislation with the SEC: https://blockonomi.com/virtual-commodity-association-working-group/It's certainly a good evolution, although I would have preferred a community-driven project, in Satoshi's spirit of libertarianism and decentralization. Problem is this "VCA" will probably be protecting user's rights in the beginning, but eventually it could lead to being another tentacle for Big Brother, taking us all the way back to square one...

Well, at least it seems great news is coming, if we can believe NCASH's Twitter account, the NCASH holders are in for a surprise @NucleusVision: Nucleus Vision is all set to roll out an interesting announcement. Stay tuned to the official channels for more updates.#Blockchain
4:44 PM - Aug 20, 2018 Don't know where this one is going (let's say I don't know where any of these are going... ), but I'd say any good news is welcome at any time!
