1101  Other / Meta / Re: whats definition of off topic to mods ? or they are just enjoying deleting on: March 17, 2019, 10:51:57 AM
It's what happens from time to time, especially if your posts are not really that impressive.

I don't really see what the problem is. Are you trying to get a Pulitzer or a Noble Prize? Or are you worried about your Activity rates?

Get outside, away from your computer, take a deep breath and try not to be annoyed by stuff that doesn't really matter.

Nah. QuadsPoker doet beter.

Roll Eyes
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VOISE - Revolution of the music industry on: March 17, 2019, 10:42:02 AM
They didn't leave this project and time to time we see them saying something. This is not sufficient because Voise has been here for long time and for development this long period of time was much more than enough to show results. I still am holding few thousands tokens but this goes out of my sight often. Now When I saw thread it remind me to check for updates and there is nothing yet.
That's what happened here, I don't see any regular updates anymore and it seems like the devs gave up already.
We need some help from BTC here, this token will not grow when bitcoin will not rise, maybe that time the team will be active again.

Their Telegram channel is quite active. Sadly, that's what we are seeing often lately: BTCTalk isn't the number one place for crypto projects news anymore. Then again, the spammers seem to have been disappeared a bit, too, which is a nice thing.

For those of you who aren't following the Telegram accounts: there's a swap coming up for VOISE. No further details yet. Also, there has been a hack on Cryptopia about 3 weeks ago. Not quite sure what to think about all this.

I guess the crypto community has become so used to waiting and receiving vague information, that we just throw up our hands indifferently, thinking "whatever...".
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Change - The First Decentralysed Crypto Bank [ICO September 16th] on: March 15, 2019, 12:16:56 AM
Looks like the Change payment cards have arrived at their HQ. There's some buzz on Telegram.

Let's see if they'll deliver finally, as promised. They still have a swap coming up and I remain convinced that in most cases, swaps are horrible for your image and reputation.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 【ANN】ELT | ETHEREUM LIMITED TOTAL COIN【ELTCOIN】 ⚡🚀 on: March 12, 2019, 07:24:26 AM
Check ...

Checked the visor website but no airswap option, plus it does not mention ELT.

What happens now? All my ELT useless?

Did not see any info on airswap on ELT, since devs had lack of announcements.

Yeah you're too late. If you hurry, you can send a DM in their Telegram channel. Looks like their acceptance policy is quite flexible.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rewarding bounty hunters with EQUITY SHARES instead of tokens on: March 11, 2019, 07:29:22 PM
I prefer the old way of earning with bounty projects too than accepting the offer of new projects that want to pay in equity shares to bounty hunters. There is no regulation in many ICOs and these unregulated conditions let the project management to pay however they prefer to bounty hunters.

I think in the end it will all depend on how seriously they are taking their bounty/equity policy and how and if bounty hunters will be paid correctly as promised. Which is exactly why I will try and keep following where this one is going and keep you posted.

Cheers guys.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rewarding bounty hunters with EQUITY SHARES instead of tokens on: March 11, 2019, 07:07:49 PM
For those of you who are still interested, I decided not to accept their offer, as considered and already mentioned above, meaning I lose the bounty (although I worked for it...).

I will however continue to follow up to see where this is going. Applications have been closed for a few weeks now and I am quite curious to see if and when and also HOW the equity shares will be distributed. If they deliver the way they promised, I will be the first to admit it is a very impressive step but it has yet to be seen...
1108  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Mobile trading met app on: March 11, 2019, 07:02:43 PM

Smiley

So John McAfee is an official advisor for the project. Love him, or not, it still is a HUGE name in the crypto universe.

Still wondering where this project is going. Sadly, it looks like the BTCtalk forum is no longer the no. 1 place to remain up to date about crypto projects. Look like a lot of people have moved to Twitter and especially to Telegram which I honestly regret...

Check Visor.org and click on "Airswap". There's some kind of swap going on for Eltcoin owners. They've done it before for LGR and some other coins.

Hurry, only a few days left.

1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN|ICO] Nauticus - Better Banking & E-Commerce using Blockchain Technology on: February 20, 2019, 11:30:50 PM
So do the people at Nauticus have any news to announce or will everything be communicated on Telegram from now on? New coins?
1115  Other / Meta / Re: How can we protect Newbies from getting scammed? on: February 20, 2019, 11:19:36 PM
Honestly, I think that someone that naïve can't be protected. Even if every inch of the page had been full of warnings, he still might've fallen for it, since he wasn't even thinking about the possibility of being given evil instructions. The scammer was a Jr Member, not some Legendary.

People like him (ie. the majority of the world population) are why we'll someday want an optional sidechain or something on top of Bitcoin which has reversible transactions (via some sort of automatic 2-of-3 escrow which expires after a while, maybe).

He should have the police contact me and I'll give them the scammer's IP logs.

The best lesson is getting scammed and hopefully for a minimal amount. I have had my share in my first days on the forum. Being called greedy afterwards by older members didn't exactly help my case. Being called naive was appropriate though. I reached crypto adulthood very rapidly since. Didn't happen again...

Cheesy

Wat denk je?

Ik hoor het!

Cheers, FR1980
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | Logarithm (LGR) on: February 17, 2019, 04:02:14 PM
There is an airdrop from Visor / XVR tokens for LGR holders. It is still running. I received my XVR today so it is indeed real. Check out the LGR Telegram account and https://visor.org/.

I am a bit disappointed to see that this kind of information is no longer posted on the BitcoinTalk forum, as if this forum has become second in line for communication channels in the crypto world...
1118  Other / Meta / Re: How can we take Bitcoin Talk back into the Bitcoin community? on: February 17, 2019, 03:45:53 PM
IMO normal people actually don't know about this place, because it became competitive due to sig.campaigns and in the interest of members is to keep it obscured. Devs... idk, they should at least be aware but remember the times when almost every new project was called a scam and hyena feeding of original idea?  Roll Eyes might be the reason, I guess.

I've noticed many devs have switched to Telegram, and even Bounty Campaigns use Telegram channels for their communication. I am not sure this is a good evolution. Of course, it is an easy way to get rid of FUDers and spammers (which is a good thing for BT, too), as you can block whoever you want, but then again it avoids critical voices and opinions from being heard.

Maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing if BT evolved (again) to a technical forum, seeing less and less spammers joining the forum. That being said - and not wanting to go off-topic but: does anyone have any idea if the number of new members is stagnating (significantly), or not?
1119  Other / Meta / Re: How can we take Bitcoin Talk back into the Bitcoin community? on: February 17, 2019, 12:04:18 PM
Maybe the right conclusion is: BT has reached its goal. What remains on the forum are the people who are interested in the more detailed, "specialized" parts of blockchain, trading and new projects. And of course the classic bounty hunters.

I think it's safe to say that everybody around the world who opens up a newspaper from time to time, has heard about Bitcoin right now. This is thanks to BT because this is where it all started.
1120  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: De grote "Crypto Quo Vadis" thread on: February 17, 2019, 12:00:21 PM
(...)

Waar zat jij? En welke exchange gebruik jij, QuadsP? Voor de P&D coins bedoel ik.
