161  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will communism ever be realized? on: April 28, 2024, 05:43:53 PM
If you think communism is better than capitalism, then you need to fly to one of few countries below.

Today, the existing communist states in the world are in China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, and North Korea (DPRK).
Nations like China and Vietnam are far better than some capitalist countries. It will be better to fly to these two nations than to any highly corrupt capitalist nation. Some communist nations treat the poor better than capitalist nations.

Capitalism creates competition and allows people to freely make attempts at getting rich and richer, it does not always favor the majority, but at least there is a chance for everyone, because it is a free market and that is why it is widely adopted.
The poor will crave for communist government because they assume that it will bring an end to poverty. While the rich will always want a capitalist system because it gives greater chances to get richer. However, communism doesn't promote equality because the ruling class, their relatives, and allies have a better opportunity to get richer than other commoners. A free market is better because even if it doesn't give equal access to resources, at least people still have opportunities to come out of the poverty line.

China i think achieved it because they implemented one country two systems. if there are breakaway regions like Hong Kong, they still claim the island to be part of China but with a different government. and it worked for them. Taiwan I think will just be another Hongkong 2.0

but Capitalism and Socialism haven't proven even up to this day, none of them worked well. just look at those big democratic countries, they are still struggling.
but one thing is for sure. the longer a leader stays in position, the higher its chances of fulfilling its whole projects, unlike those countries that do elections every 4-6 years. the president is just useless.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: April 27, 2024, 09:16:47 PM
Before playing gambling, people should understand that losing is part of gambling and losing is a risk in gambling, so there is no need to complain about losing and also losing a lot of money when gambling because if you still complain, you should not gamble, gambling is not just about winning and can make money.
The most important thing is that the chance of losing is much bigger than winning.
Most gamblers should realize and accept this fact first before they start gambling, they should never think that their winning chance is bigger.
Later gamblers should also never think that winning chance is bigger after several losing moments.
Trying to recover is fine because it is human nature, not only in gambling but also in many other things where money is involved.
But again back to the first rule, we should realize that winning chance is not getting bigger after loses (no matter how long or how much we have lost).

I read and agree with you, but I remember myself when I lost several games in a row. Then that little thing happens in your head and you want to prove that you are not a loser and now you will take back what you gave away so easily, but every time losing plunges us deeper and deeper, it’s terrible, this happened to me several times and I don’t want to do it again.

After a loss, the most important thing is not to go crazy and not plunge yourself to another bottom, but this can be done and done. I just want to tell the players don't turn off your brain and just stop and give yourself at least 1 day to think about what happened, and don't run to all your friends to lend us money.

I know how it feel when you have a losing streak as I had a losing streak for 1 month in a row ...imagine that but my luck was that I placed small bets for 1$ or 2$ max but still...a losing streak for that long can make you lose your mind and it will break your spirit and your confidence to bet and your intuition as well. I can also say that as some points I was placing random bets just to see if I'm the unlucky one or I just pick bad teams...but nothing worked.

I can also say I had a winning streak for almost 10 days but once again , placing small bets of 1$ or 2$ won't make you money but at least you will have green on your screen and that can lift up your spirit.  Cool

and then you start regretting why you didn't increase the amount you wager but once you do that, you'll start experiencing the losing streak. i have seen this happening to me over an over that why i stick to just a few USD.

and i think the casino will start noticing me. i got paranoid sometimes that i think they are manipulating already the result lol
even the odds in the sports matches sometimes is just not making sense anymore.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: A Trojan Horse for CBDCs on: April 27, 2024, 08:32:10 PM

Base on this press, it was said the first CBDC launched in 1993, if CBDC is really a great invention, why the system was dropped and at that time CBDC weren't popular? Huh

When Bitcoin become successful and it has been discussed in everywhere, why the government is trying to talk and issuing CBDC during this time? obviously they want to compete against Bitcoin and trick many Bitcoin's naysayers to buy CBDC.

Even the purpose of Bitcoin is against Bank, but Bitcoin didn't force anyone to buy Bitcoin and avoid banks, it's already clear which one is the trojan horse.

Central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) are digital versions of cash that are issued and regulated by central banks. As such, they are more secure and inherently not volatile, unlike crypto assets.

While some may assume that CBDCs are a new concept, they have in fact been around for three decades. In 1993, the Bank of Finland launched the Avant smart card, an electronic form of cash. Although the system was eventually dropped in the early 2000s, it can be considered the world’s first CBDC.

because it will be too alarming to just implement CBDC abruptly and so the government has to do it little by little as explained by Lynette Zang here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ox5c0M8SVU

Makori also said here that bringing Bitcoin into the ETF means centralization which its just the same as the old system.

but here's a good part.

ever heard of someone saying there is no such thing as a coincident?
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I believe crypto prices in general will pop after May 1-2. Here is why. on: April 27, 2024, 07:58:52 PM
maybe in mid-May, it will be a god green candle towering to hit 70k as Narnia ETF also starts. i think it will have a bull-run effect.

as for FED, they're flipping. when they said no rate cuts, it was just to see whether people would resume investing. lol and so they found out.
don't invest yet. Jerome needs to crush the demand and they are hoping to see no investors going to encourage people to buy BTC or stocks. or else there will be another interest hike.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: How safe is it to keep your money and gold underground? on: April 27, 2024, 07:00:03 PM
...
Now I want to ask everyone:
Have any of you ever been aware of this technique before?
And do you think we can keep our savings and wealth underground by adopting this strategy and considering it the safest?
And that being said, how safe do you think it is? At this time?

I understand why it is good to bury some gold or silver, of course for those who have the means for such a thing. It's an old way but pretty safe, some people like to have complete control over their funds and this is one way to achieve that. I don't like gold and silver, but if I had to choose I would rather bury them somewhere than give them to a bank for safekeeping.

As for burying the cash, I always remember poor Escobar who buried the cash which eventually absorbed moisture and became unusable, so whoever buries the cash should think carefully about how to protect it from moisture. Just a well-intentioned advice from me, I don't like cash either... whoever has excess cash should buy gold or crypto, one will store value while the other has the potential to bring good profits.

especially today when cash is becoming less valuable due to inflation, it won't be long before the $20 may not be able to buy BigMac. so it's best to just buy gold and BTC for the wealth to keep its value. hiding it is the most challenging because just as they mentioned natural disasters can make you lose the wealth instead.

nowadays, its safer to have BTC and if you prefer gold, just make sure to dig a hole where you can remember where. probably write the GPS coordinates and laminate it.  Grin
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Post halving, why are altcoins the most affected on: April 27, 2024, 06:40:57 PM
when Bitcoin dips, this is what is going to happen https://twitter.com/naiivememe/status/1781229462631362662

people panic already and so are the people altcoins holders dumping as well. they understood altcoins depend on how BTC performs in the market. and most probably because altcoin season hasn't started yet. less trust in altcoins than in BTC.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Practical Coins on: April 27, 2024, 06:23:40 PM
Dash was once a top coin the newer ones are taking over the top but didn't really killed the old ones. i heard about Dash before being adopted in Argentina where travel agents accept Dash and some hotels. in the online news though, Dash is not making headlines so fewer people know this coin anymore. i forgot it existed.  Grin

for an investor, i think you still can make money out of it if you can set up a masternode with a minimum amount to earn dash.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blogs and Forums. Additional Features in Online Casinos on: April 26, 2024, 09:28:43 PM
it's a good feature to connect to fellow gamblers and maybe find tips just like the tips in the stake chat. gambling forums are worth spamming though. i think there are lots of casino that will hire you to insert links  Grin

i saw that stake forum but never really read more than 30 minutes of the posts in there. wizard of vegas forums i think was one of the casino forums that is popular. i remember posting there before.

169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to create a new coin. on: April 26, 2024, 09:21:35 PM

there are platforms where you can easily create a new coin without programming skills, try the $WAVES, they do have an easy 1-3 click set up to create a token and instantly you have a project of your own.

but whether you create it in ETH, TRON, or on ADA, you still need to make investors buy the token otherwise it will just be useless to have a token while not in the market and nothing to make it valuable.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: April 26, 2024, 08:12:35 PM
Currently TRON is ranked 14th in CMC and if you say TRON is a bad coin, then what about other coins that are below TRON?
just let him be because we cannot please everybody , even bitcoin has its own bashers those who deliver negative things and with that they believe they are earning something.

Quote
You can't say TRON is a bad coin just because of a few flaws, and maybe you should also look for flaws in other coins so you know that there is no such thing as a perfect coin.
we cannot stop them mate , but indeed that tron has also  a positive future and that would be certain once the market starts to grow again.

was also thinking about why this token is still one of the top tokens when it doesn't really have a good price. but i think they deliberately want the price to maintain this low for it to be available for anyone.

i use to have more than 50k of this TRON but sold it back in 2021. but if i have to get into TRon to invest again, i think this is the right time when its not dumping anymore and somehow rising. i think the Chinese like this token already for being cheaper.
171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: April 26, 2024, 07:11:02 PM
You know that USDT is pegged to the US dollar, right?

Everything you have listed here also applies to USDT, there is hardly any difference ... except that with USDT it's still not clear whether they actually have the reserves or whether at some point the bomb will burst and the pegging can no longer be maintained ... with billions in damage to the overall market.
Yes I agree with you, they are both very similar and one is worse than the other.

It is true that USDT is still unclear whether they actually have the reserves, but on the other hand, does the dollar have real coverage from gold, for example? Or even do the numbers in banks and on government computers of dollar balances match the paper dollars printed on the ground? Certainly not, I think most of these numbers are fictitious.

I personally don't like the dollar or USDT either, but in general I prefer owning any digital currency over fiat currencies if I have to, but if I had a choice I would only choose Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency with a good value.

It is easier to spend the digital dollar online than receiving the USD in check so that's the advantage of it which many have already been using even the people that are not in this community are aware of it already.

USDT whether backed by real USD or not, is acceptable still in different stores so why not?  if anyone prefers BTC, he may buy BTC using that USDT. i think a lot are planning to do so when they are paid in USDT. this is the most use case of USDT for most traders.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the least risky gambling game at online casinos? on: April 26, 2024, 06:57:15 PM
Knowing what works best for you and sticking to it is another way of staying successful gambling because i doubt if you will be able to probably just get to win other games when you have almost no idea about how such games work but then, if you must they out other game, it's important you acknowledge the fact thst it's ll risky and not easy but then some can actually be more fun than the other a d then even that fact that some are more fun than the other, you still have to understand that fun is relative because there are games i will find fun but to you they may not seem same way so it's best we just stick to that which you know better and it works for you.

If you wish to try out something else i will suggest you get into sports betting since you have been able to try the slot games it will be fun you get an idea into what gambling can be like away form the casino games such as that which you are already used to, a careful study and research in to the sports games can actually help you make better choices.

even sports betting is risky actually. what works for him would be better advice however most of the gambler who sees that he is winning in that kind of game, will wager a bigger amount to win big as well and that's when the risk goes high as well.

there is never really a least risky game unless you wager a small amount and never try bigger. its always the amount to wager that makes it riskier. losing large amount is where you get trouble with your wife  Grin

174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone you introduced to BTC says the risks of her funds is on you on: April 26, 2024, 06:17:47 PM

you can turn the risk in your favor if you give a condition that you will refund her in the next halving like year-end in 2028. and she has to accept it and the profit is yours.

she's a bitch that's for sure. and i would dare not talk to her for another decade even if she is my neighbor. but i think it's good to know her already before things get worse. she will be knocking on your door every time the price goes down if you agree to her condition.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MemeCoins Fuel the Next Crypto Craze? on: April 26, 2024, 05:20:54 PM
you get lucky when you have some of them before it got hyped by someone and the community starts pumping the memecoin. when someone posts they profited thousands out of 100$ worth of memecoin investment, i'm sure it will inspire a social media user. thus begins this craze.  no elon musk needed already.

i have no idea about Maneki but if you feel like it will be the next memecoin to be bought by thousands of memecoin investors, it's your money.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin season on: April 25, 2024, 07:28:09 PM
if you wanna diversify just take 1-2 altcoins and then enough.  you don't have to have a large holding of these altcoins. some of them you probably haven't heard of.

while it's still cheap i guess it's okay to buy some but when the token has already taken its flight, you need to wait for its dip or just skip for the next token.

you don;t wanna keep waiting until the price goes up like them.

177  Economy / Economics / Re: What scares me from investing in gold. on: April 25, 2024, 07:12:47 PM
Costco is a big company, why would you get scared buying gold from them, you're thinking about this the wrong way if you ask me, you should be praying that they sell you fake gold for the price of a real gold because that's going to net you more money than you'd ever get out of gold because that's lawsuit that they wouldn't be able to win, they've basically committed a fraud on you and others which might lead to a class action lawsuit that would generate you more money so buying gold in costco shouldn't be a thing that should worry you. Also, why are you buying gold anyway? Bitcoin's already a better option.

maybe diversifying his wealth. whether there is war and no internet, it's gold still that will be a better currency as the paper money will have no value by that time. i think buying at least a few pounds will give you a higher chance of survival in times of apocalyptic events.

stocks and Bitcoin could be seized depending on where the user keeps them. but so is gold. governments today are seizing assets already. i think we are going to this direction as well. invest in gold and bury it somewhere.  Grin

sounds promising already. they combined cats meme and the AI?  i think this will be a revolutionary meme AI.
but hasn't been launched yet there is already a claim that it's been a copy lol oh this is going to be an influx of this kind which sooner there will be doggpt, snoopgpt, dogegpt, and so on.

179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto rewards that make you rethink spending on: April 25, 2024, 06:46:40 PM

holding the BCCoin is the worse that could happen because by the time comes, its price will be 100x low for a long time. yup you can have the benefit of using those cards, not sure what the worth of their rewards but the tokens you hold will keep declining until you get tired and sell them. 2y ears will be long enough while the bear market will be longer and longer.

the card looks good to brag though.  BCCoin is worth $15?
180  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin’s bull run coming to an end? on: April 25, 2024, 06:30:22 PM
That's the right way to approach it, if you end up investing a lot then you are going to end up losing a lot as well. Too many people do not realize that and make a big mistake instead. I personally believe that we should consider the possibility of making a mistake, and when you are making a mistake then you are going to lose money, if you end up investing with money that would be too risky for you, then when you lose it, you are not getting it back, and you are going to be in financial trouble.

I could have 10x more money in bitcoin right now if I didn't care about that, but at the same time I would have cashed out all of it instead. This is why only invest with money that you are willing to lose in the end if you are wrong.
Without a strategy we will have difficulty reaching the maximum investment stage and the high price will always be a reason not to buy it. The possibility of making a mistake is very small if someone understands the journey of bitcoin and that is why investments must be adjusted to the amount that can be afforded rather than being forced to buy without planning. We will definitely face risks when investing, but what we need to think about is how these risks can be minimized with appropriate and accurate skills.

There is no need to pursue investment and forget about other needs, because if all the money is managed for investment then it will be quite problematic when you need money. In a downturn, it is impossible to sell bitcoin, but the need for money cannot be avoided either. In conditions like this, what steps will we take while we have used up our money for investment?

not quitting your job or still continue your business if you have one. while your investment stays as an investment and just hold. they always recommend not to stop working while you are investing. BTC is not going up all the time, eventually, a bull run bubble will pop and bears will come.

not everyone will hold in a bear market, and i suggest not doing so. but whether it's bull or bear market, never quit your job.
