1601  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: August 23, 2016, 04:04:14 PM
Probably not. A currency that is not supported by any government makes it almost impossible to become fluid to everyone.

hmm, that may be effective but i doubt that i has that much effect against bitcoin's adoption.
if anything the fact that bitcoin is not backed by government means it will be adopted a lot more because of the decentralized feature it offers because of the same thing. so if people adopt it government has no other way except accepting it too.
1602  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price pretty much flat for the past few weeks. Permanent? on: August 23, 2016, 04:00:16 PM
Bitcoin is no longer the roller coaster is once was.

What I find strange is how the entire roller coaster has transferred wholesale to alts. It's not as if Bitcoin now has global adoption and lords over everything. It has more than the alts but it's still in the same boat and effectively nowhere. In the eyes of the rest of the world it's just as penny stockish as anything else yet doesn't have the corresponding action.

it is because of the size of the markets and also the amount of manipulation i each of these markets.

bitcoin has been growing and the bitcoin market is so much bigger now compared to a couple of years ago so it is "harder" to manipulate it and make roller coasters.

but in altcoin market since the altcoins are mostly premined and also small market size, the price is manipulated to the max hence the roller coaster there.
1603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: August 23, 2016, 03:56:59 PM
I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?
It is because you get addicted to it to the fact that you are very eager to win back what you have lost and that's bad. Very bad. Learn to control your self and stop when you have enough money than you lost from the other day. and when you lose, stop when you lost the one you are aware to lose. Not continue but stop.
i think the hope of making money compel people to gamble again and again, but every time most of the people become disappoint. but still people find it difficult to quit gambling  and that is called addicting.

this is the reason for great number of people but it is not the reason for all the people who are gambling.
many of gamblers are only gambling because of the thrill and enjoyment of the gambling itself not for the money and earning profit part which leads to addiction to gambling.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: August 23, 2016, 03:47:53 PM
I would open a casino. That's my final answer.
yeah I think when you become rich of course you have to choose better option than just as a player, it will be safer and more profitable if you can be the boss or owner of a gambling site. certainly not a problem for you to make a gambling site. you must memeiliki capital because you're rich

those people who are rich, have become rich from other ways that they are most probably continue to use and become richer through those ways not a new way.
that is why rich people usually use gambling as way to have fun only and play the games not own the casinos if they are rich before it.
1605  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: August 23, 2016, 03:43:21 PM
3 Weeks ago i won 6th prize at lottery. I was luky, because i bought ticket with satoshi won at free roll  Smiley

it is interesting to see someone finally say something about winning the lottery on the site (at least the only one that i have seen) since i never won anything myself when i was using it.

although it is not so acceptable (no offense) but it is posted by a new account with no history!
1606  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: August 23, 2016, 03:40:09 PM
I use bitcoin to buy domains and hosting, Giftcards and tons of activity online, my country is restricted in PayPal and most online payment processors therefore bitcoin is a great thing to use IMO.

i agree, bitcoin is good for me too because PayPal doesn't give any services to my country either so that is a big restriction for me and that is easily resolved by using bitcoin.

although i also use bitcoin for trading and making more money from speculating too.
1607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2016, 03:32:57 PM
i have been seeing Pokemon go everywhere i look these days, it looks like it is becoming so popular and i checked it out and i also find it interesting, that is why i think it would be good for bitcoin if there was some kind of earning bitcoin implemented there.
1608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar Collapse - What does it mean for Bitcoin ? on: August 22, 2016, 12:51:26 PM
There is a lot of videos and articles around the web about how the dollar will collapse on 27 September 2016.
I'm not sure how exactly they got this date, even If it's not the real date, It seems like a lot of experts keep saying that a collapse is coming soon.

Assuming that the Dollar collapse indeed , what does it mean for Bitcoin exactly ?

these have been mostly youtube videos like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Z5py1098RA and honestly i don't find it as a proof of anything collapsing, maybe some drop hype but not a collapse and all these news looks more like a hoax go me, but it is just my opinion.
1609  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex down (EDIT: Back up!) on: August 22, 2016, 12:38:57 PM
trading is becoming more and more scary. you try your best to make a little bit of profit with all these pumps and dumps going on and you have to add the RISK of exchanger getting hacked to the list of risks you take when trading!
so topics like this or even a short outage or whatever the reason are always scary as hell.
1610  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Gambling Discrimination on: August 22, 2016, 12:35:11 PM
Have you ever experienced discrimination as a gambler like people are saying a bunch of hurtful stuffs about your gambling hobby.

AND WHAT DO YOU DO IN THESE KIND OF SITUATION?

people always say hurtful stuff on the internet to anybody and it is not limited to gambling. it is the false sense of power that being on the internet and the semi anonymity it has, gives to some people who let themselves say whatever shit they like and this gives them that false sense of power when in fact it is just a 13 year old kid who is afraid of the dark.

1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: stop gambling on: August 22, 2016, 12:26:06 PM
Today I took the decision. ALL these gaming sites are all scam the only game that I find honest is sport beting this is where I will take my dose of gambling no rigged poker no dice no casino game

this is called being a sore loser.
also you should know that losing does not mean the site is scam, but it means your way was wrong. because all these games that you are talking about have a provably fair system that can be easily checked.

sports betting is good but it is not the sure way of winning, you will definitely lose there too. but the only difference is that it is based on skills so you can win if you have them.
1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing 14 bets in a row just now! on dice games on: August 22, 2016, 12:20:28 PM
That also happen to me, although I'm using 50% of winning and martiangle it. Just remember, dice game always has their own house edge and some algortihm that you can verify for each roll to prevent being cheated by the house. If you can accept your loss, maybe you need to try other gambling site without HE based for example : poker or sport betting
yes i am trying sports betting now. i never play dice for long time. multiplayer game is always safe rather then dice, slots etc. so i'll try poker if i get enough knowledge

Sports betting is more exciting than playing dice. At least you are a way lower chance of losing 14 times in a row than in dice. Besides in sports, you can analyse and 'get the hang' out of it after a while. It is possible to improve your chance of winning in sports gambling.

that is true but usually in sports betting you only bet a small number of times in one or two days and also your bet amounts are usually bigger than dice games.

but in dice you make hundreds of bets and you can even do it with a tiny amount like 1-10 satoshi.
1614  Economy / Speculation / Re: This price (~$575) is normal and good, and here's why... on: August 22, 2016, 12:16:12 PM
the only reason that you can see people being sad and disappointed in the current bitcoin price is that those people were hoping to become rich in a week after they bought bitcoin and since that dream has not yet happened they are mad at bitcoin.
1615  Other / Off-topic / Re: Old people earning bitcoins on: August 22, 2016, 12:12:20 PM
I have never seen old people using bitcoin, i even kind of doubt they know about bitcoin and i think they wont even bother to know and try to acknowledge bitcoin, but if they are earning bitcoin probably is through trading, because trading bitcoin is almost the same with trading stock
it's indeed rare event to see old people using bitcoin but there's an exception if you're socializing with those techy old people, they'll know what exactly bitcoin is and even using it for their online needs, maybe in your area there's just very few techy old people or even there's nothing

there is always exceptions in these situation. but in general the older people are less interested in these new technologies and so there fewer of them using it. in other words you can find a lot more young people using bitcoin than old.
1616  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How do Online Wallets Survive ?? on: August 21, 2016, 04:44:59 AM
I don't know why you say Coinbase doesn't charge fees when they just raised their fees recently, correct me if im wrong.

Every online wallet ever charges a fee, and they make money from the traffic which may click on advertisements or may buy premium services, it's the standard online business model really.

what fees are you talking about?
i am not using coinbase but using google it seems like they use 0.25% just like any other exchange out there. and their main revenue is from exchange fees they receive and all other kinds of fee from deposit/withdrawals of fiat and crypto.
1617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should BTC Opinions be valued based on your BTC wallet size? on: August 21, 2016, 04:39:14 AM
NO.
having money and lots of it doesn't grant you knowledge and certainly does not give your opinion any special value.
someone who has a lot of bitcoin (eg 100BTC) only proves that he was rich and he decided to invest in bitcoin, that is all. he may as well know less than a newbie with 0.01BTC
1618  Economy / Exchanges / Re: why robots on yobit allow to place small orders? on: August 21, 2016, 04:35:09 AM
I am trading with smaller amounts on yobit but I am unsure why there is difference for human and bot traders. I think there must be some kind of minimum trade (not minimum order) limit for bots so eventually it might be as equal as human trades. In other words bots can choose frequencies but overall minimum limit should be 10,000 satoshis per lot (and bot can be set even to place order with 1 satoshi). I'm not sure though.

I think that Human and bots should be given the same rules to trade on Yobit. A lot of times bot place a lot of very small orders giving the wrong impression that there are too many buy and sell of the coin.
Since bot is auto and not human, it should have some restriction like maximum orders etc.

the same rules apply for both human and bots the same way.
if you have ever tried any API or even YOBIT API you would have known this, when you send an API request to open an order on YOBIT or any other exchange site the same rules apply meaning if you place a 1 satoshi order it will be rejected and you will receive an error as your response.
1619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs Betting on: August 21, 2016, 04:30:53 AM
i think this topic should be closed now, because OP was confused about the two words once and it has been explained in the past 130 comments so there is nothing more to discuss here except attracting more spam in this thread.
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Believe gambling at dice are fair? on: August 21, 2016, 04:23:45 AM
yep. its hard to believe for me..for exmple if we play dice manually its hard to get number 1 for 4x streak but in online dice u can get 4x streak in 10 minutes  Grin

if by manually you mean rolling by clicking the roll button each time instead of using the auto bet then there is no difference.

but if by manually you mean rolling a physical dice then you are mistaking the numbers. in a physical dice you roll there is only 6 sides so only 6 possible numbers whereas in online dice there is a lot of possible numbers from 0.00 to 100.00
