SA makes 358, Mitchell's catch was effortless.

36 overs and SA at 205-1, De Kock makes 100 once again, he's been in great form, they should easily cross 300+. I wonder why Latham choose to bowl when even commentary guys were saying SA hasn't been good at chasing.
1623  Economy / Economics / Re: Biting more than i can chew. How can i do better? on: November 01, 2023, 10:19:14 AM
I'm guilty of pleasing people too. If I were to advise, savings helps a lot whether in crypto or irl.

I'm just as careless as you in regard to money, possibly worse, do not care to press sell button even if lot of money is lying in front of me, have made lot of such decisions and regret it a lot. Went through not much money phase few months ago, realized value of it yet lapse into old habit of not caring about it when there is flowing in plenty.

1625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LastPass hack - move your crypto assets to a more secure place right now! on: November 01, 2023, 09:43:53 AM
I used to use LastPass as primary password manager, couple months ago I moved everything sensitive after reading Taylor Monahan's tweet, she mentioned LastPass was common link in drained accounts long before ZackXBT that you have quoted, it's just that she was unsure then if it was really the cause.

I had to manually move entries, because lastpass export does not work correctly, entries kept missing. I wonder myself why did I use this password manager who can't get basic thing right.
1626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between bitcoin and cryptocurrency. on: November 01, 2023, 09:37:32 AM
People mostly hear about Bitcoin first then of other cryptos, so one may think they aren't aware of other cryptos, but sooner or later they come to know about it anyway.

South Africa is in great form, but New Zealand is not. The latter have now lost two consecutive matches. During the initial rounds, they performed much better than what was expected from them, but they went down against India and Australia (perhaps two of the strongest teams in this tournament). And now they are against another strong team in the form of South Africa. The issue here for New Zealand is that it is a must win game for them. If they lose, then there is a good chance that they may not qualify for the semi-finals.

Losing game does not mean you are not in a good form, in none of those two matches NZ were thrashed.

Anyway, toss just happened and NZ choose to bowl first. Let's see if SA puts up huge total again as they are batting first.

1629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to invest or trade Bitcoin? on: November 01, 2023, 03:32:22 AM
Trading can be profitable but imo it's still a risky venture. Historically, it's better to hold BTC, only holders would be reaping huge profits from BTC price appreciation right now provided they kept their wallets secure.

Also, investment & holding doesn't require much knowledge except security whereas if you don't know what you are doing in trading, you lose, also it has third party risks such as exchange holding your money.

Trading never worked for me, so I prefer holding BTC and swapping it into stable coins when it feels like it's significantly down and I know it will go back up. Never ever hold alts (may be except few prominent coins like Ethereum), you will become a bag holder.
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this how it start? (No or yes?) on: November 01, 2023, 02:59:56 AM
You should stay away from gambling altogether if you can't help yourself, chasing loses in gambling in no good — which is what you seemed to do with second funding even tho you were mindless about it, it's kind of rabbit hole the more you dig, the harder it's to go out.

There are other ways to have fun rather than pouring money into gambling, if you can't find it elsewhere you are probably an addict (and should help yourself out sooner).

Even some people were also missing to claim their reward as well.

Yea, many didn't claim so those who claimed got 3x more amounts.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌀 [banned mixer] - CONTEST ICC MENS WC 2023 AND DISCUSSION | Free Entry on: November 01, 2023, 02:06:05 AM
..as South Africa has done well with every team since the beginning.

How can you forget their loss against the Netherlands, also against Pakistan they won barely. This is one of matches where I think winner will be much dependent on toss result, we have seen in past matches that SA team sucks at chasing.

32) NZ vs SA

Toss Win: SA
Team Win: NZ
Best Batsman: Ravindra
Best Bowler: Boult

Williamson can come back to the New Zealand camp in this match.

I'm reading he's been ruled out.

Is there someone who running the node? How much you get from running celestia node? Im feeling curious about that.
Ive got a friens who run a node and got 9k tokens and lucky to got participated. If this goes beyond $3 each imagine its worth from a 200 to 300 spending on node campaign. A lucky guy, he said just for trial of doing it and fortunate to have an airdrop this kind of amount. I had only few tokens just by evm and hope its value its like $5 to $10 to gain some profits here.
Bro got like $30k for $50 vps, I feel like airdrops aren't worth at times and then shit like this happens, and I'm like bro this shit lit! Crypto is blessing, I swear to God.
I think it's worth it. In this project, the node operators probably wouldn't have expected to receive such a large amount of money. Although there have been some large self-rewarding projects in the past, it is similar to another marketing method that also receives fomo, sometimes I have witnessed people massively neglecting it, wasting time with lots of nodes on different projects. But anyway, this project has brought happiness, congratulations to everyone who has received airdrop rewards from the project.

Airdrops do be like that. You waste time on lot and then there comes one that makes it all worth it. Market is just turning bullish and yet $TIA for light node operators is like $20k at current $2.4 per TIA price, light node operators got 8500 TIA (there were other two types of nodes, I dunno amounts), it'll probably be worth much more in bull market and may dethrone dydx as biggest airdrop in history, some people got $125K worth of tokens there.

Bro got like $30k for $50 vps, I feel like airdrops aren't worth at times and then shit like this happens, and I'm like bro this shit lit! Crypto is blessing, I swear to God.
its always at the times when airdrops hitting the low bottom that such massive airdrop taking places, i remember aptos also arbitrum.
and indeed, some people are getting really good rewards from this one event, i've heard also some people that ran light node are also getting some massive rewards too.
considering the fact that it requires small computing powers quite literally raspberry pi already suffice which is kinda massive if you think about it.
I guess running node will be the next trend but alas, any incentivized node airdrop will be giving small rewards from here on due to massive participants.

It don't think node campaigns to get massively farmed as have they requires some investment and is sort of techy (tho, geeky persons may farm multiple themselves). Also, often you can judge yourself whether something is being farmed massively or not, if it's oversaturated don't bother with it. In my knowledge, we've seen two projects giving airdrops for operating nodes, one being Aptos and other being Celestia.

p.s. People who want to sell without kyc can use mexc or osmosis exchange. For some reason with Keplr extension I couldn't deposit into osmosis, it kept giving fee error. It dawned me after an hour that I could use Keplr mobile app and it was smooth there however by then TIA dumped a bit so I got less. I sold this time, cause I did't sell arb early then it dumped bad.

1636  Local / India / Re: ICC World Cup 2023 - India discussion on: October 31, 2023, 12:14:48 PM
I expect Siraj to be replaced in the next game and also Shreyas Iyer seems to be a concern in the middle order so why not let KL Rahul to bat at 4 and SKY and Hardik at 5/6 followed by Jaddu. Clearly, SKY made a statement to the team and contributed valuable runs when the team needed the most.

I doubt Shiraj will be replaced, he is one of the most successful bowler that India has produced. Only one bad game can't determine the long term benefits of having him. Sheyas Iyer should be removed, he has been a failure until now. Ishan Kishan should replace him and Hardik if he is fit should replace SKY. The rumour that is coming out in the social media is that he might not be fit for the rest of the matches.

I feel Shreyas should be replaced with Ishan Kishan, I know I backed him up in prior comments but he's been fail in all 6 matches, also Ishan is really good fielder, Gill and he are bros, also!

Sky should stay, imo.

Siraj should go out at least for one game, even if gets few wickets, he tend to be economically expensive. At least a match without him, see how India does, should be replaced with Ashwin or Shardul.

BTW, BCCI the way they conducted the 50 over World Cup looks like is not kneen is having another one,

True, Fielders were digging land in Dharamshala and Lucknow outfield. Is this how you prepare for wc?

1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 DISCUSSION THREAD! on: October 31, 2023, 11:41:47 AM
Bangladesh sounds like already lost, they might even get all-out before 200. Pakistan will probably try to play aggresive and close the match early to get that extra NRR and keep their hopes alive for semis.
1638  Economy / Economics / Re: Cracking the Code of Saving Money... on: October 31, 2023, 09:33:32 AM
By savings first and spending from interest earned from your savings, I read this somewhere on the Internet and it's stuck with me ever since,  I find it true from my personal experience as well. Interest might not be enough but what one could do is increase savings further and further until interest is good enough to sustain oneself.
1639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is regulation of cryptocurrency exchanges essential for mass adoption? on: October 31, 2023, 09:24:42 AM
I think yes, because some exchanges have way too many shitcoins listed, regulation should stop this somewhat and save users from getting into them. One could argue, there are dexes which is literal wide west, but most people usually go through cex stage first and then dex.
1640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you any of pump groups or Channel ? on: October 31, 2023, 09:16:06 AM
No, I do not trust them. It's good such groups worked out well for you so far but don't be surprised if soon enough they try to dump some shitcoin over you, and you be an exit liquidity for them.

Don't blindly follow anything even if that thing made you easy money in the past.

Pump groups are there to make money of you, just like celebrities once a person is popular enough they get endorsements, similar way these groups get endorsement offers (even from scammers) once they are grown enough, and group owners may or may not do their due diligence on what they endorse, so it's you who should be careful.
