Instead of concerning about rank and merit why not focus on studying and learning some rules of the forum. Once you will have enough knowledge then only you can think about other stuffs.

Partially true but there are people who are in the forum for years and done a lot for the forum. For them only, we are seeing the forum we have now. How about them? They deserved it. Every system starts from some points and feature like merit was needed to protect the forum. Instead of focusing on negativity OP should focus on the good stuffs happening on the forum since the merit has been introduced.

OP really needs to see there are people who started from 0 (like he has now) and achieved 100s of merits. List of members achieved 0 to 100 and plus merits - hope this will give OP and others some encouragements.

PS: Truth is - people like OP will hardly change unless they change their mindset.

Everyone WAS a newbie once. Why is this excuse? If you think you can do something then just DO! No one cares about anything relates to you unless you prove yourself an important one for them. Try working with your personal development.

Excuse me if I am wrong, I am also not taking the side for the accused user as well. The case would be stringer if you could include any screenshot/video etc of your conversations. Giving the payment reference only is not enough IMO.

I am not defending you, I am actually trying to save my ass, this whole thing is related to my (everyone's as well) own account security. I have raised concerns about it several times. i.e:

So, when I see someone is talking about it then I always make sure that I am giving my feedback with valid facts. I realize, for me - it will be a very hard and long journey to recover my account if anything unpleasant happen with it.

By the way, thank YOU to bring up the idea at the first place.

Oh really! You get the impression looking at the merit I received so far and from my post history? Merit scores determine the posting quality (ignoring the abuse part by members which are minor) of a poster and dude - I received more merit than you so far!

I born on December 14, 2017 reg date   - if you guys discussed about sub/child board for account issues then I surely missed it but if the discussion took place after my birth then it's hard for me to miss it. I guess this reference will be a bit satisfactory as an evidence for my claim

I don't think filling some of these empty boxes with necessary child-board is gonna do any harm. Sure, meta is the board for discussing about the forum. If we can categories the same discussions (when necessity like account hack/lock rise) then won't it be easier to find.

Account recovery issues are now a daily part of the meta board. Every day there are new topics asking/even begging for account recovery. Members are waiting months to get back their account. Put yourself on their shoes. The experience will be extremely frustrating. Having a child-board which will only have topics related to account recovery would be nice IMO. I hope you did not miss reading this?

In addition, once (if) we have the child-board then mod can move the topics "Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords" and "Stake your Bitcoin address here" to the new child-board and can make them sticky for better visibility. Anyone who will need to recover their account, they will find it handy. Everything will be in one place for the victims and for the admins, they won't have to go thought finding the PMs and public posts that gets buried under new and old PMs/topics.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong mate. I am always afraid of losing my account. It could happen with your too and anyone else - despite the extra care we take for our account.
